Chapter 6

I was awoken by movement and a tight sensation in my chest.

I sat up but found it difficult with Nolan holding me.

I looked at him and saw him wide awake and watching me with those ocean eyes.

"Nolan let go please." I whispered and he did just that.

He nodded. "So you do understand me." I said with an accusing look. Nolan flashed me a sheepish grin and he nodded.

"Can you talk?" I asked him sitting up a bit straighter.

"Eh. I just mostly don't remember anything about myself other than my name." Nolan said in his deep and gravely voice that made me swoon.

"Oh." I said nodding.

"So why were you going crazy last night?" I asked him.

"I have no idea where the hell I am and I just remember you and I got worried about you. I need you safe." Nolan said looking at his feet with flushed cheeks.

I smirked. "Okay."

"Well once you get out of the hospital, you can move in with me until you remember everything and get back into your normal life." I suggested.

"Really?" He asked with raised eyebrows.

"Of course! It's the least I can do." I said with a warm smile.

"Your boyfriend won't mind?" Nolan asked worriedly.

My cheeks flushed and I looked at the ground. "I'm actually single."

"Okay." Nolan said with a carefree smile. The same smile as Cami.
