Azara couldn't fall asleep, tossing and turning in bed as thoughts of what Aryan had said earlier raced through her mind.
"Yeh kidnapper toh terey dimagh mein hi charh gaya Azara!" She lightly tapped her forehead, attempting to divert her attention.
"Stop thinking about her Aryan, you'll get yourself in trouble." Aryan wandered around his room, lost in her thoughts.
"Little troublemaker has messed up my mind." He chuckled, reminiscing about their previous run-ins.
_
"It's 12, and none of you bothered to wake me up." Azara dramatically screeched as she descended the stairs,
"Khuda ka khauf karo larki. My voice was nearly extinguished from shouting at you to wake up from your beauty sleep." Emara retorted. Their brothers snickered at them.
Azara let out an exasperated sigh and spun around to stride back into the kitchen, only to collide with an object she mistakenly perceived as a wall. "Abey yeh deewar kahan sy agaya?" she shouted.
"Kabhi insaan samjha hai mujhy?" She took a step back, catching the sound of a deep, raspy voice whispering.
Azar was tired of her. He got up, fuming in anger, but Rohaan held him back
Azar was fed up with her reckless behaviour. He stood up, seething with frustration, but Rohaan restrained him.
"Chill, hojata hai, and she just woke up," Rohaan assured, "every other day she keeps bumping into him, and you're defending her?!" Azar hissed.
"Ya tu bhi uski tarhan bhool gaya hai ky woh kisi ki amanaat hai?" He fumed, "I'll have a word with her," Rohaan responded.
"I'm sorry," she meekly apologised to Aryan and rushed away.
"Bhai, I wanna visit the Patriata Chairlift today," Emara spoke, lifting her gaze from her phone as she eagerly displayed the pictures of the place to her brother.
"No, Emara, the weather doesn't seem fit for this today, we'll visit tomorrow," Samar politely denied.
"Come on, bhai, please!" Emara pleaded, her voice filled with disappointment.
"Yeah, Samar bhai, let's give it a shot. It'll be fun." Azar chimed in, supporting Emara's request.
"He's whipped!" Rohaan chuckled at Azar's actions. As Samar gave him a sceptical look,
"Azara kehti toh itni minnatein na krty tum."
"Shayad inhein bhi jana hoga." Emara shrugged, "han bas tumharay sath," Rohaan whispered under his breath, loud enough for Azar to hear as he nudged him.
"I and Rohaan are heading somewhere else. You can take Azara and Aryan with you," Samar declared.
"Unhein hamarey galay bandhny ki kya zaroorat thi" Azar scowled. "Koi masla hai Azar?" Rohaan teased him,
"Nahi toh," Azar replied, letting out a fake smile and shooting daggers at Rohaan.
Azara didn't like the idea of going out with Azar. She prefered going out with Rohaan. He is her comfort person. Samar and Azar are too strict, like her taya abu while Rohaan is as chill as her father.
Once they reached the pariata chairlift, the attendant helped them, "You can take two chairlifts. It'd be a lovely time for you and your wives." The attendant suggested,
Azar smirked at the idea while Emara frowned. "Kis angle sy couple lagty hein?" She mumbled.
"He's not my husband!" Azara shrieked. "Oh, my bad," the guy apologised.
"I'll go with Emara." Azara arched her brow at Azar, clearly curious.
"I mean, if you both go together, it will completely spoil the fun rather than allowing you to enjoy it." He came up with an excuse. A lame excuse.
"Samajh gaye." Azara responded with a sly smile.
Azara and Aryan sat together. As the chairlift ascended, Azara felt excitement rush through her veins. When glided higher, the world below seemed to shrink. Azara was captivated by the view, while Aryan was lost in her.
"I'm not that bad, you know. You didn't have to yell when that guy thought we were a couple." Aryan disrupted the silence.
"Bari khwahish hai meri shohar banny ki?" She arched her brow, replying wittily.
"Tumse milne ke baad meri khwahishon mein izafa ho gaya hai." Aryan replied. Azara gulped and looked away
His response left her speechless, she gulped nervously, and averted her gaze.
"Wesy apky bhai aur cousin ki shadi hogayi hai ya unka scene chal raha hai?" He blurted out of nowhere.
"Unka toh bachpan sy chal raha hai," she retorted. Aryan chuckled at her response. "Waqai, bhai is head over heels for her, but she doesn't get his hints." She went on.
"Wesy apki koi behen hai? " She asked, "Jee? " He replied more of questioned.
"Arey wesy hi puch rahi hoon, apny bhai ky liye rishta nahi maang rahi," she laughed softly.
"Tumhari muskaan bohot pyari hai," she paused her smile and gazed at him with bewilderment, as if his unexpected compliment had taken her breath away.
"Isliye tareef nahi ki thi ky tum muskurana band kardo." His soft voice made her heart skip a beat.
While getting off their ride, Azara winced in pain from spraining her leg accidentally. "Why are you always so clumsy?" Azar grumbled, clearly frustrated.
He had planned to spend some time alone with Emara, away from the watchful eyes of Samar and Rohaan.
Azara understood his annoyance all too well, "You know what, you can enjoy with Emara!"
"Mein akely haveli jaa rahi hoon!" She exclaimed, storming off in a huff.
"I'll go get her." Aryan stated and chased after her.
"Azara, arey ruko toh! " Aryan ran after her, but she kept walking without looking back. Aryan increased his pace and finally caught her.
"Kahan bhagey jaa rahi ho? Kuch pata bhi hai? " He grumbled, pulling her back.
"Kiun tumharey baap ka ilaka hai jo tumhary ijazat ky baghair nai jaa sakty?"
"Merey baap ka toh nai par Wazir ky baap ka zaroor hai. Aur agar usy yahan koi anjaan dikh jaye toh bas, ab Allah hi bachaye usy Wazir ky haath sy." He replied.
Azara realised that her actions had overstepped because of her anger. She instantly apologised to Aryan for the comment she had passed.
"It's fine, but don't ever come around this area." He warned her whilst she nodded like a good child.
"Mujhy haveli ly jao. He can have his time with Emara, filhal mujhy unki shakal bhi nahi dekhni." She hissed.
"Let me inform him then," Aryan grabbed his phone to dial Azar's number, but Azara snatched it from his hand. "He won't be concerned about me anyway," she exclaimed with frustration.
"Just drive me to the haveli, please."
Aryan started the engine and began driving towards the haveli, "arey kya hogaya?!" Azara freaked out when the car stopped abruptly. She sat up straight and looked at him.
Aryan ignited the engine and commenced his journey towards the haveli. Suddenly, the car came to an abrupt halt, causing Azara to panic. She swiftly sat upright and fixed her gaze upon him.
"Aryan?!" She shouted as he stepped out of the car and approached the man standing in front of them.
_
"Keep your eyes down, Usman Wazir!" He roared at the man, who was staring at Azara. He looked up at Aryan with a smirk,
"Anjaman tay oh teri khaas mehmaan lagdi ae." He exclaimed. "Baat karni hi hai toh meri taraf dekh ky kar," Aryan growled,
( "Seems like she's your special guest," )
"Isey dekh kar toh har baat bhool gaya hoon, par aik baat kahoonga, khayal rakhna, har jagah dushmanan ne."
Usman's arrogant attitude annoyed Aryaan. He casually patted Aryan's shoulder, then paused by Azara's window to shoot Aryan a wicked grin before striding off.
"You shouldn't have come here." He gritted before Azara could ask a question.
