پوشیدہ شناخت - Posheeda shanakht

| Aryan |

Chandni raat mein nikhar gayi hai wo, dil ko behlaye jaati hai wo. Uski muskurahat se khil uthti hai zindagi, uski adaon mein chhupi hai harr khubsurati.

When I first bumped into her, I didn't know that she'd have an effect on me. Ever since I have been here, all I have been thinking about is her. The way she speaks, the way she is clumsy, everything about her amuses me.

Azara Araiz Malik, what are you doing to my poor heart?

Sitting opposite to her on the chairlift, I've been admiring her, while she admired the view outside.

I chuckled internally at her reaction when the man misunderstood us for being a couple. Oh, how bad I wish that would've been true.

My cheeky conversation had her dumbfounded.

When we got off, she sprained her leg, I went ahead to help her, but her brother scolded her, which put her have a sour mood, and she stormed off to god knows where.

I ran after her yelling at her to stop. To stop from walking into the lion's den. The locals, the Wazir's being a local, wasn't worrisome, but them being our enemy was.

"Mekon na chorri," I mumbled, getting hold of her. I didn't realise where that came from.

(Don't leave me.)

"Kahan bhagey jaa rahi ho? Kuch pata bhi hai? " I asked her, I didn't she was so pressed until she snapped at me

"Kiun tumharey baap ka ilaka hai jo tumhary ijazat ky baghair nai jaa sakty?"

"Merey baap ka toh nai par Wazir ky baap ka zaroor hai. Aur agar usy yahan koi anjaan dikh jaye toh bas, ab  Allah hi bachaye usy Wazir ky haath sy." I replied, trying to warn her.

She apologised and asked me to take her back to the haveli. I tried informing her brother, but she just snatched my phone.

Calm down, lady!

I started driving to the haveli, I was in a rush to get out of this territory before I faced any members of the Wazir's, but unfortunately the devil himself standing in front, wearing his evil ugly smile.

His gaze fixed on Azara, ignited a fire within me. I stormed out, fists clenched and ready to deliver a blow to his face, but I couldn't risk starting a battle with Azara by my side.

"Anjaman tay oh teri khaas mehmaan lagdi ae." He stated,

Absolutely, she is! If you even think about gazing at her with those sinful eyes, I'll rip them out myself.

Before leaving, he gave me a warning to be careful, as if I'd be scared. I  gave him a dead glare when he paused at Azara's side and gave me a wicked smile.

She brought trouble for us.

Somehow, we got back to the haveli, and everyone was busy with their activities. I rushed to my room and informed my manager to increase the security around the haveli.

At dinner, everyone kept chattering, but she remained unusually quiet. Her silence bothered me, yet none of her siblings seemed to pick up on it or bother to ask her what was wrong.

She ate her dinner in silence and walked upstairs. I pondered that her room was downstairs. Then why would she go upstairs now, then it clicked that she must have gone to the terrace?

At this hour, seriously?!

Something didn't settle well with me, and gradually, I followed her to the terrace.

"Why do you have to follow me everywhere?" She sounded annoyed. "I'm not following you!" I retorted.

"Toh yahan kiun aye ho?" She asked, arching her brow.

"Tumhy dekhny- bilkul nahi!" She rolled her eyes and looked in the other direction.

She admired the Lord's creation. The vast sky is adorned by the dazzling moonlight, the mesmerizing glow of the moon, and the stunning array of countless stars decorating the night sky.

I stood next to her, studying her features carefully. She was a masterpiece of the Almighty.

We were lost in awe of the divine when a sudden gunshot pierced the air. Azara screamed and leapt into my arms. "Get inside now!" I shouted. She gripped my hand tightly, refusing to leave me behind, and dragged me along with her.

"Azara, where were you?" For the first time, I could see concern in her brother's eyes for her. He hugged her as if he almost lost her.

"Aryan, yeh sab kya hai?" Samar questioned me. "Trust me, I'll handle all this. You guys go to your rooms and sleep peacefully." I assured. Samar nodded, and they all left to their rooms.

I walked into my room in a rage and dialled my Dada's number. "They were here Dada, it's not safe to keep the Maliks here," I inform him.

"Aryan, they plan to stay for a week, and it's only been two days. We can’t ask them to leave.

Head over to the Wazir's and have a word with them. Make sure they understand that it's best to avoid their attacks this week, or else things won't end well." I agreed to his definite plan.

As I stood by my window, admiring the moon, memories flooded back of the exact moment Azara heard the gunshot. She grabbed hold of me, clutching my hand tightly, calling out my name in a hushed tone.

I could still feel her hold on me. I wish she was always by my side, holding onto me as if she trusted me with her life.

Do people get such thoughts when they're in love?

Azara was taken aback by Azar's reaction. She never anticipated such a reaction from him. It's not that Azar is a terrible brother, but something has changed in him lately.

He seems to be more concerned about Emara now. Perhaps he believes that Azara no longer needs his protection?

Azara dismissed these thoughts and attempted to drift off to sleep, but the noise of the gunshot continued to linger in her mind.

She sat upright and rested her head on the headboard, "Why am I feeling restless?" She mumbled. She grabbed the water jug only to find it empty.

With a heavy sigh, she got off her bed and made her way to the kitchen. The hallway was dark, enveloped in an unsettling silence.

Fear crept up her heart, sending shivers down her spine. "Ah!" She bumped into a huge figure in the dark. Before she could release a piercing scream, a firm hand swiftly covered her quivering lips, silencing her in an instant.

"Ouch!" A low hiss escaped his lips as Azara sank her teeth into his hand with a forceful bite.

"What on earth were you doing there?" She inquired, her voice filled with a mix of fear and frustration.

"You tell me, what were you doing wandering around at this late hour?" He retorted,

"I came to get water! Aur sawal ka jawab dena hota hai, agey sy sawal nai karty!" She pointed out. "Jee pata nahi tha, agey sy khayal karoonga." He scoffed a touch of sarcasm in his voice.

Azara pushed against his hand, feeling trapped between him and the wall. Aryan suddenly realized their proximity and moved back, releasing her from the confines of his touch.

She filled the jug with water and walked past him when a sudden thought crossed her mind. "Why was a bullet fired earlier?" she inquired. Aryan tensed up, unsure of how to respond.

'Kahan phasa diya apney mujhey, dada jaan.' He regretted coming here.

"Woh yahan hota rehta hai. Tum jao, sojao."  A moment later, he replied.

She nodded before heading to her room. He let out a sigh, believing the danger had passed. Only to be confronted by the seething presence of Azar when he turned to his right.

'Ab isey kya chahiye?' He muttered

He frowned when Azar walked past him, giving him a murderous glare. "Yeh Bhai-Behen dono hi aafat hain," he pondered, shaking his head.
