Chapter 107 My God! I’m Done For

Eric didn’t expect Kate to open the door and walk out at that moment. He was even more surprised that she joyfully threw herself into his arms when she saw him.

On the other side was a vast lake view, which offered splendid scenery.

As Kate held Eric’s arm and chatted cheerfully, her voice was full of delight.

Eric didn’t catch most of what Kate said. Her bright, smiling face and red lips, as they opened and closed, filled his heart with a strange emotion.

Her lips… looked so soft.

Eric’s eyes were deep, and he stared unblinkingly at Kate.

Noticing something was off, Kate looked up and met Eric’s intense gaze. His eyes seemed to hold a deep, consuming emotion, as if he wanted to devour her, full of pressure and aggression.

She laughed softly and playfully covered her mouth.

Eric pressed his thin lips into a straight line and said faintly, “Just thinking about work matters.”
