Chapter 221
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 221
âWhatâs wrong?â Cynthia asked casually.
âYou havenât come to work for the past two years because you married him?â Moe pondered over the
recent phone call and everything that had happened during this time.
Cynthia did not hide it either. âMmhmm.â
Moe asked one last question, âHis name is Joshua Neal?â
Cynthia raised an eyebrow slightly, surprised that this guy knew quite a lot. âYes.â
At this moment, Cynthia was unaware that her assistant had already blocked Joshua.
Moe vividly remembered Yoel complaining countless times about Joshuaâs various shortcomings. With
a boss as difficult as him, he must have also been a terrible husband,
No wonder Cynthia divorced Joshua.
Good nddance.
âWhat are you thinking about?â Cynthia knew her assistant well.
âMs. Yates, from now on, please focus on managing the company diligently. Donât get married
anymore,â Moe said seriously.
âUnderstood,â Cynthia replied nonchalantly with a faint smile, her response extremely perfunctory.
For the rest of the journey, Cynthia rested her eyes in the car while Moe contemplated his tasks for the
day.
Half an hour later, they arrived at Arch International Group. This was Cynthiaâs company, founded just
four years ago but had experienced rapid growth.
âOh my go d! Ms. Yates?â
âMr. Smith?â
âAm I seeing things? Ms. Yates actually showed up?â
âGood things come to those who wait! The day has finally come for Mr. Smith!â
As soon as they entered the company, they heard the exclamations of the crowd,
Cynthia and Moe took the dedicated elevator to the presidentâs office. Reflecting on the scene just now,
Cynthia glanced at Moe and asked, âWhat have you been up to these past two years? Why do their
words make me feel like I abandoned you?â
âThey just missed you too much,â Moe replied earnestly.
Cynthia looked at him skeptically
Really?
Why could she not believe it?
After exiting the elevator, Moe accompanied her to the presidentâs office. When Cynthia saw that
everything was clean and dust-free, arranged exactly the same as two years ago, she paused
momentarily.
This guyâ¦
He was really attentive, making people feel happy.
âThese are the documents that need your signature. Iâve already reviewed the contents, and there are
no issues. You can sign them first, and Iâll take the aromatherapy to the lounge. Moe handed her a
stack of papers from the desk.
âNo need,â Cynthia called him back.
Moe paused.
Cynthia explained, âI havenât done anything for the past two years, and my sleep has improved. I donât
need aromatherapy anymore.â
Upon hearing this, Moe felt slightly relieved.
He fetched a cup of hot water for Cynthia and asked her to take the documents to the lounge to rest
while he took care of the others.
However, Cynthia did not get to rest
Just as she finished signing the papers, she received a call from Jonathan.
She maintained her usual indifferent attitude and seemed uninterested in continuing the conversation.
Whatâs the matter?â
âI heard from Mitchell that youâve returned to Nexuria. If you donât have anything urgent, why donât you
come to the company today? You mentioned wanting an investment advisor position, right?â Jonathan
spoke cautiously, afraid of saying something wrong and further distancing their father-daughter
relationship.
Cynthia instinctively looked at Moe, pondered for a while, and finally agreed, âYeah.â
