Chapter 436
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 436
After the call, Michelle shared the news with Mandy. Both were surprised, and Mandy asked with a light
tone, âAre you sure Cynthia agreed to this?â
âYes. After she agreed, Uncle Jonathan and Shirley said theyâd come too.â
Mandy did not say anything Michelle stood there obediently, being generally respectful toward her
mother.
âFrom today, you must get along with Cynthia and Shirley. However, donât be overly eager. As long as
Cynthia doesnât object, Mr. Yates and I can get married,â Mandy advised her solemnly.
âBut⦠Iâve already offended Cynthia,â Michelle worried.
âEveryone makes mistakes, Just behave well from now on. Donât go astray this time,â Mandy reasoned
with her.
Michelle fiddled with her sleeve. âClary.
Mandy looked at her and sighed deeply, contemplating further words, but in the end, she busied herself
with preparing the lunch for five. It would indeed take some time,
On Cynthiaâs side, they were still in the midst of breakfast, Bursting with curiosity, Shirley softly asked,
âSis, didnât you not like them before? Why did you agree to go over there for a meal?â
Hearing this, Jonathan also turned to look at Cynthia. He was equally intrigued.
âMandy is Dadâs current partner. Itâs her birthday, and Dad should naturally be there,â Cynthia answered
simply
Shirleyâs eyes shimmered with unspoken thoughts, while Jonathan felt a pang of sadness. Cynthia was
such a nice daughter.
âI wonât be staying there long I will leave shortly after the meal,â Cynthia added clearly,
Under normal circumstances, she would not po. However, this time, she decided to confront Mandy.
The matter concerning her father could not be dragged on forever. If It continued, people would start
speculating that Mandy might be her fatherâs mistress, which would be harmful to his repitation
âIf you donât want to go, then donât. Donât feel obliged,â Jonathan said cautiously after deliberating
âItâs not an obligation,â Cynthia replied, finishing her milk. She wanted to clarify things with Jonathan, âI
primarily want to discuss your situation with her. Itâs about time she decided on whether to stay or go.
Knowing Cynthia would not act rashly, Jonathan agreed, âAlright.â
In truth, he had a clear idea of what Cynthia wanted to discuss. It was better for her to voice certain
things than for him to do
Observing the serious conversation between them, Shirley swallowed the words she was about to say.
She decided to wait for a better opportunity to bring it up, as it seemed unlikely that Mr. Yates and
Cynthia would agree now.
After they finished breakfast, Jonathan made a call to send the gift he had prepared in advance for
Mandy Past ten oâclock, their driver transported them over to Mandyâs place.
Upon their arrival, Michelle greeted
them, âMr. Yates, Cynthia, Shirley, youâre here! Please come in and sit downâ
A slight frown crossed Cynthiaâs face. She still did not like Michelleâs overly cheerful greetings.
âItâs alright. No need for the formalities, just call us by our names,â Shirley stepped in, her face wearing
a harmless smile.
âAlngle, âMichelle agreed.
Cynthia raised an eyebrow at Shirleyâs unexpected comment. Catching her sisterâs eye, Shirley winked.
Cynthia responded by ruffling her sisterâs lair lightly.
