Chapter 93
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 93
When the cold voice suddenly sounded, Yoelâs body stiffened.
Was it Joshuaâs voiceâ¦.
The smile on his face had not yet had time to fade, and he heard Joshua speak again.
âHaving a good time watching TV?â
Joshua strode over, increasing the pressure in the room.
Yoel and Cynthia both looked at him at the same time.
Yoel almost instantly stood up and gulped, stuttering, âMâMr. Nealâ¦â
Why did Joshua come here?!
Cynthia glanced at him and continued watching, completely unaffected by him.
However, this person just came in directly and probably guessed her password, so she should find time
to change it.
âIs the apology statement written?â Joshuaâs rage was burning inside.
Yoel looked at Cynthia. In truth, he did not know if Cynthia had written it or not. After all, she had been
upstairs all afternoon.
âWhatâs the rush? Itâll be posted sooner or later,â Cynthia answered casually.
âI want to see it by tomorrow night.â Joshua did not know why she could still be so indifferent. âIf you
donât post it, youâll bear the consequences.â
âYouâre so annoying! I canât even watch TV in peace,â Cynthia retorted mercilessly.
After speaking, she brought her water upstairs.
Yoel and Joshua were speechless. Both were stunned and never expected Cynthia to get angry
suddenly.
Yoel pursed his lips and tentatively said, âMr. Neal, donât worry, Iâll work overtime later to write one.
Then, if Ms. Yates hasnât written it by tomorrow, Iâll send her the one I wrote.â
Joshua stared at him without responding.
Yoel felt his scalp tingling from Joshuaâs glare. Then, he wiped his face and asked in confusion, âWhatâs
the matter?â
He had washed his face after dinner, so nothing should be on his face.
âItâs late. Why havenât you gone back to eat yet?â Joshuaâs gaze darkened slightly, with a hint of
coldness on his face.
âIâve already eaten,â Yoel answered. He was too engrossed in watching variety shows and forgot to be
professional. âMs. Yates ordered my food with hers at six oâclock, and we ate together.â
Joshuaâs gaze became icy. He had not eaten with Cynthia for so long, while this guy was having a
good time here.
Yoel was slow to notice Joshuaâs emotion. âHavenât you eaten yet?â
âGo and clean the companyâs toilets.â Joshua did not answer his question.
âSeriously?â Yoel asked.
âDo you think Iâm joking with you?â
âWhat about Ms. Yatesâ¦â
âIâll watch her myself.â Joshuaâs thin lips pressed together, emphasizing the word âmyselfâ.
Yoel suddenly realized where Joshuaâs coldness came from. âOkay, Iâll go to the company now.â
As soon as he finished speaking, he left.
Of course, as someone here to freeload, he was still very conscientious about taking out the trash.
As the door closed, Joshua looked around the room.
Had he not come tonight, would Cynthia have planned to let Yoel stay overnight here?
He did not greet Cynthia and went upstairs to her room, knocking on the door.
Cynthia thought it was Yoel and opened the door as she did not think Joshua would stay. She thought
he was only here to supervise Yoelâs progress.
After all, the effects of urging someone in person and through a phone call were different.
