Chapter 94
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 94
Upon opening the door and seeing Joshua, Cynthia did not bother to say hello and closed the door on
him.
However, Joshua stopped the door from closing. He noticed her change in expression upon seeing him
and spoke with a sharp tone, âDisappointed to see me?â
âQuite,â Cynthia replied bluntly.
âDo you like Yoel that much?â Joshua questioned.
âI like dealing with people who use their brains.â
âCynthia!â Joshuaâs tone became more aggressive.
âIf you donât have anything to say, leave.â
âIs it so hard to apologize? Why didnât you consider the consequences when you ruined Jayleenâs
reputation on the Internet?â
Cynthia did not answer him.
In fact, she was willing to pay someone 150,000 USD to drag this man away.
Cynthiaâs silence made Joshua uncomfortable. He would rather have her argue with him than ignore
him like this.
Just then, his phone rang, and he saw it was from Moses Neal. He frowned and walked toward the
balcony to answer the call.
âWhat do you want?â
âJust calling to chat. Canât I call my beloved brother for no reason?â Moses replied with a teasing tone.
âIf you say one more nonsense, Iâll send you to Africa,â Joshua warned coldly.
Moses chuckled. âIf you do that, Grandpa will break your legs.â
âWhat do you want?â Joshua asked again.
They had not talked in months. Hence, Joshua did not believe that Moses was calling him for no
reason.
âGrandpa asked me to check on your love life. Yoel told me you divorced Cynthia for that exâlover of
yours?â Moses said in his casual, lightâhearted voice.
Joshua remained silent.
âI have to say, I support your divorce. You have such a dull personality, and Cynthia can definitely do
better than you. Luckily, I have some good friends who are reliable and good at sweetâtalking. If
Cynthia likes them, itâll be their lucky day,â Moses
continued.
âI did some research, and they didnât have anyone from the past that theyâre still hung up on, and
theyâre all very devoted to his relationships. More importantly, theyâll unconditionally believe in the
person they like if theyâre in a relationship.â
Moses went on and on, not afraid of offending his own brother.
Joshua tightened his grip on the phone, and his breathing became heavier. He knew Moses well
enough to know that he would. follow through with what he said.
Moses was always capable of anything.
âWeâre not divorced yet,â Joshua finally said in a low voice.
âWell, youâre almost there. Just a few more days left in the coolingâoff period,â Moses said in his
melodious voice.
Judging from his voice, Moses sounded like an outgoing young man.
âIf you can immediately have someone replacing Cynthia after the divorce, she needs to have some
potential suitors too.â
âAre you itching for a fight?â Joshuaâs eyes grew darker.
âIâm just analyzing the situation with good intentions. Itâs not that Iâm against you, but nowadays, girls
like men who can pamper them,â Moses said confidently.
âTake my friend, for example. When his girlfriend was bullied, he immediately rushed to her defense.
When those people accused him of being unreasonable, he said he was there to support her, not to be
reasonable.â
Moses continued babbling, âAll the girls at the scene were moved to tears by his words.â
Joshua frowned slightly, his thoughts wandering back to the past.
Cynthiaâs attitude toward him changed after he answered Jayleenâs phone call. Before that, she had
been very good to him, and he had taken good care of her.
Their relationship was so good that others envied them.
âOkay. I wonât bother you anymore. I care about your love life, and if Grandpa asks, donât say I didnât
say anything,â Moses said, sensing that he had said enough.
âAre you sure you care?â Joshua asked him.
Moses laughed. âDo you want me to fly back and give you a hug or something?â
âGet lost,â Joshua replied, not mincing his words.
