Zeng Rou woke up from a nightmare in which she was browsing Weibo on her cellphone in the back garden of the South Side Recuperation Center; then a man walked over to ask for directions, but before she could reply, she lost consciousness.

Jack wasn’t surprised that Zeng Rou knew his name; instead, he was pleased.

“Why did you catch me? Isn’t your enemy Huo Mian?”

Zeng Rou sold out Huo Mian in her first sentence, not wanting to bring harm to herself.

“Your master? Who is he?”

“My father won’t let you get away with it. You must know whom my father is, right?”

Zeng Rou hoped she could scare them with her father’s title.

Jack laughed; the laugh was full of irony.
