Since Huo Mian said yes, Su Yu didn’t want to overcomplicate things, so he accepted the offer.

“What are you treating us to?”

“Barbeque.”

Han Yueyao left Su Yu’s office after he accepted her offer. She took out her phone and sent a WeChat message to Huo Mian asking, “Mian, I want to treat you for dinner tonight. You can’t refuse… Oh, President Su is coming, too. I want to thank the both of you.”

“My mom told me. I was shocked too. What happened? Why did you and Director Wu get fired?”

Before Huo Mian responded, Su Yu added, “Did you and old man Wu embezzle money, and someone found out.”

“Excuse me. My family is very well off. Do I care about that money? Embezzlement? How can you say such a thing? Why don’t you say we were in a relationship?”

Huo Mian was speechless with Su Yu. She knew that Su Yu was an unfiltered guy, but this was just too much.
