Chapter 404 * I'm back to you *

Nothing comes with no definite devotion. David sacrificed some things.

Instead, he got six brothers who would shield him whenever he needed

them.

Kate's eyes still roaming on David's face as she let out a long sigh “I

already could tell this, do you think he was being unreasonable or

thought he is a monster that he decided to kill his child for me,

But if you ask me, then I will say, if he was lying in my position and I

was in his position, I will do the same; If anyone asks me to choose one

between my husband and baby,

I will always choose him with no hesitation, now If people call me crazy,

bitch or witch, I don't care because this man is my lifeline.” Kate said in

a simple matter. As Aiden heard, he was taken aback.

“What, how could you say this? He is already the crazy one; why you”

Kate didn’t let him finish when she interrupts “because without him, I

am nothing and I don't have anyone” her simple words touched Aiden's

little heart. He smiled suddenly.

“Now I understand why he became like this,” Aiden hinted something

only he knows; when they were talking, Kate felt the pain was coming

back, she needed to lean back a little; she looked at Aiden.

“Please help me sit up; I think my baby doesn't like this position

anymore after all five months was enough for our baby,” Kate said, as

she sweats from that uncomfortable pain.

Aiden nodded. He stood up and leaned over; he intended to help her

with pure intention, but who have thought as Aiden’s hand touched

Kate's hand, a strong arm grabbed his hand and twisted with force,

Aiden’s face turned pale as he looked at the person who held his hand,

and he came face to face a furious and wrath glare.

Before he could explain this misunderstanding, the hand forcefully

pushed him away, and he fell to the ground.

Kate turned her face and met the most dominant and cold eyes, but

she doesn’t mind if it's her darling’s eyes.

David just woke up when he heard someone talking beside him; it had

been a long time since someone talked bedside him while he was

sleeping. He found it noisy. His heart was aching. He didn’t have the

desire to get up from his endless pain.

But when he heard a soft sweet voice, he calmed down; he thought he

was dreaming. It has been a long time since he last listened to this

voice, so even though he wanted to get up, he stayed in his dreamland

a little longer until he felt some movement beside him.

He jumped up when he felt the surrounding footsteps. At first, he was

unconscious, that's why he heard nothing, but he was coming back to

his senses. Therefore, he quickly could feel or hear everything around

him, especially since he was on guard for the last five months.

When he opened his eyes, he saw Aiden was holding Kate's hand; he

became furious. What is he doing here? Is he trying to do the surgery

on Kate for the baby while he is in his unconscious state, which

inflamed David to the core?

That's what came to his mind, and he became furious, and his mind

was on fire; when he saw Aiden was not wearing any gloves, he

pushed Aiden’s hand hard. Aiden was off guard, so he fell.

“You dare” David glared at Aiden with his cold eyes as if he were ready

to kill Aiden, but his body turned hardened when he felt a pair of a soft

hand on his face.

He looked down slowly as he held back his breath for the moment, and

when he saw the girl who was sleeping for months, looking at him with

her pure black orbs and a smile on her beautiful face.

David felt he was not alive anymore. He was dreaming, he must, if not

why he was seeing her smile; he tried so many times for the last five

months; he slept because he was hoping to see her smile in his dream,

but she was too heartless. She never came to meet him. Now seeing

her smile, this thought jumped into his mind.

But his sense came back when Kate's smile widened, and she looked

without blinking “darling,” she muttered softly; David sat back as his

strength left him; he didn't know what to say or what to think; he was

not in his right mind.

He didn’t blink because he was scared, for fear that her smile and open

eyes would vanish the next time he would open his eyes.

He leaned back so it became difficult for Kate to touch his face. She felt

weak because she kept her hand up, her hand fell, she pouted.

“Darling, do you not love me anymore? Why are you not letting me

touch your face? Why have you sat so far away from me? Kate

complained in an aggressive tone. She understands he was just

shocked too much about her and their fool doctor, but she couldn't help

but feel wronged when he leaned back away from her touch.

David shook his head “no, it can't be. It must dream” David shook his

head nonstop and murmured in a deep sad tone. Kate's chest

tightened in pain; she could feel his helplessness and his despair.

He suffered too much in these five months to believe in miracles

because God was never gracious for him, so how could he suddenly

believe it.

“Ouch,” Kate let a fake scream get his attention. Hearing this scream,

Aiden frowned. He thought she was really in pain, so he stood up and

wanted to help her, but before he could, someone else beat him.

David grabbed Kate and carried her in his arms by her waist; even

though Kate was pregnant with three guys, it wasn’t anything for David;

he could easily hold her in his arms.

Kate finally sighed; she came back to his arms, David's breathing

abnormally increased. “I'm not dreaming; tell me I am not dreaming

right now,” he begged her with his teary eyes; every drop of tears fell on

Kate's face because he was leaning toward her face.

Kate felt her earlier pain was nothing to compare to this; the look and

desperation in his eyes was something that Kate had never seen in

their life.

Kate raised her hand, warped it around his neck, and kissed his face.

“Darling, you're not dreaming; I'm back to you, back to my darling.”
