Chapter 615 - Purple heart...!!!

"Okay, we'll do as you wish." She felt the bond between the two girls

and aunty Lin, who was like mother and daughter to each other. So

obviously, they would do everything to make Aunty Lin happy before

she leaves them.

Dead silence surrounded the entire mansion; no one was in the mood

to celebrate their happiness, but they knew life would go on, and they

needed to stay strong.

Even though the sadness was bothering them, David decided to go

with his plan. He called the Jones family over to their home,

even though Liam tried his best with his mother not to bring so many

people to Xiver's family, but failed miserably.

Liam informed David that at least 30 of the family members would visit

them as the only son in their prominent family.

David knew where this matter was going, but he accepted the proposal

because he would give his sister to their family.

Since he knows they knew about Rose's origin, they would surely try to

cause a mess,

but he would show them that even though she was born from another

woman, she was still as important as his other sister.

That night, Rose received a call from Kate. Suddenly she felt terrible,

she didn't know why her sister-in-law called her even though they were

in the same house, but she was frightened easily since they had gone

through a trauma in their own home.

She received the call in a hurry and heard her sister-in-law say to come

to the lakeside and help her with something; from Kate's voice tone,

she felt Kate was in danger.

Rose didn't even put on her slippers. She didn't see anyone, so she

went to Nina's bedroom; Nina and Noah were nowhere to be found.

She looked at the clock; it was already 11 pm; she couldn't believe they

would go anywhere at this hour.

Her heart was stuck in her throat; she walked out; what shocked her

was that the black-clothed bodyguards were not in a position as usual.

Usually, they would stand in front of the main gate without leaving an

inch.

She stepped out but didn't dare to walk forward, but when she

remembered Kate's anxious tone, she couldn't stop.

But they were not there anymore even though the lights were switched

off; she felt fear, so she turned on her phone and walked out.

She almost ran to the lake, but the more she went, the deeper her fear

got. Her brother hired a group of bodyguards, yet she couldn't even feel

a soul in the entire mansion area; she couldn't help but curse them.

When she got to the lakeside, she looked around, but the lake was so

big that even if Rose walked at full speed, Rose wouldn't make a round

in 15 minutes, so she knew walking around like a ghost would be

nothing but foolish.

She felt weird because she could hear countless whispers around her

but couldn't see anyone. She looked around, but when she saw no one

was there, she failed to get her sister-in-law's number.

Suddenly she heard a phone ringtone, she looked in front of her, but

she couldn't see the person even though she could hear the sound.

"Sister-in-law, are you there?" She couldn't help but call out, but it

seemed her sound came back to her in return; Rose was never afraid

of ghosts, but suddenly even though it could be a ghost called her by

trick, she had seen a movie.

Rose suddenly chanted dua in her heart and prayed, she turned back

and wanted to go back, but suddenly she saw fairy lights start to shine

from the very end of the mansion's main door and slowly come near

her.

Rose froze on her spot and looked around, everything becoming

lighter; only then could she see the decoration and flower petals on the

red carpet all the way.

Before she could guess what was happening, Rose turned her head

when she heard fireworks burst into the sky, turning the entire mansion

brightened with different colors; only then did she notice the lake as the

whole was decorated with purple lights.

On another side of the lake, a stage decorated with purple light,

suddenly she heard her favorite music playing, and the atmosphere

had changed from romantic to horror.

She sighed, even though she was confused, until a thought clicked in

her mind, oh my god, how is this possible? This was a teenage dream;

only a few knew about it, and David was one of them.

She looked around desperately; she was not that foolish; seeing the

dream stage in front of her, she knew why all this was happening, but a

different feeling burst in her heart.

Feeling of being cherished, feeling of being loved, and she knew the

people who loved her from their hearts, suddenly her eyes turned teary.

Feeling emotional, she heard footsteps behind her; Rose turned her

head and saw the man smiling at her like the sun on a sunny day and

touching her heart like a breeze in autumn.

The man stopped before her and raised his hand in front of her

"Rose Xiver, I fulfilled my promise; now it's your turn.”

He said in a gentle voice, but when he saw she didn't give her hand

yet, the nervousness in his heart got more prominent, almost making

his knees weaker with the passing seconds.

Rose wanted to laugh, seeing his changing expressions; she finally

grabbed him and smiled at him "what promise? I never asked for any

promise from you." Rose knew what he was talking about, but she

pretended to be innocent.

Liam clicked his tongue, this girl knew how to pretend in a moment of

urgency, but it made him happy "do you want me to recite everything in

front of so many people?" he said with a wicked smile.

Rose looked around and saw many people standing behind them with

flower bouquets, including her sister-in-law and brother.

Rose pouted and said, "Sister-in-law, you scared me." she complained,

but there wasn't a bit of anger.

"Click, it was him who made the call, scold him if you want.” Kate

pointed her finger at Liam and said seriously.

Liam was speechless; she was the one who told him she would call her

there on her own, and now she was making excuses.

But Liam couldn't complain since someone was glaring at him, hinting

that if he dared to refute, he would make sure he stayed single all his

life.

Liam was scared of this thought, so he accepted it gladly; that was

better than angering the devil.

Liam hugged Rose's waist and whispered in her ears,

"Miss Xiver, I would like to show you something. Would you like to

accompany me to the other side of the lake?" Liam's gentlemanly

behavior was not new to anyone since he was born to be a gentleman.

Rose nodded; she would be a fool if not she followed him; she wanted

to know if he did what she wanted the most.

Liam led Rose to the other side, but David grabbed his shoulder and

stood before them, blocking the way.

“Liam Jones, you still have the chance to think, but once you take her

to the other side of the lake, you will not have an opportunity to regret

all of your life because if you dare to regret,

I'll make your entire clan before and after 14 generations. She is

precious as the moon and our whole Xiver family's treasure. If you dare

to hurt her for anyone or any reason, that day, you will not see another

day in this world."

David said these word by word.

Others might think he was joking, but not his family because they knew

how serious he was and would do what he promised.

Rose lowered her head because she didn't want to ruin the special

moment of her life with tears, but her brother made her cry with his

words,

She always knew about David's love and protection for her, but her

brother once again made her realize how lucky she was on this earth.

Nina wiped her tears; she was happy for Rose; she was finally getting

the happiness she had wanted for so long; only she knew how many

tears Rose shed for Liam Jones in these years; god finally blessed

them with joy.

Liam smiled; he was not afraid of David's threat because only he knew

how much he had to suffer; only then he got her, so he would never

dare to have second thoughts; his love was not so fickle.

“I remember your promise, brother-in-law,” Liam told him what he

should do because he didn't want them to think he would step back.

Kate stood next to David and looked at Liam and Rose, "brother Liam;

She is not like me or Nina, who easily can express our happiness or

pain; Rose is like Rose; she is too beautiful, but also with thorns.

Since birth, Rose is different, and in the future, she might face the truth

of the world; then I'm asking you, will you be there before her to slam

the world instead of her?"

Kate asked a simple question, but her words had a different meaning

hidden.

Liam understood what thorn Kate meant and how Rose was different

from others, she was a child from a mistress, and this was a thorn in

her life.

“I will." This promise was not only for Kate or Rose; this promise was

for himself.

"Brother Liam, I just need to know in the future, if you need to choose

for anyone or Rose, which one will you choose?"

Nina was one-track-minded like her brother; her mind worked precisely

like David's; if you desire someone or something, if you can't get it in

your heartbeat and blood, then your obsession was not vital to deserve

it.

Liam smiled brightly "if I have to choose her over anyone, even my

family, I will." Liam long knew if he loved someone, he would do it as if

Nina smiled back, "Now you can take my sister, but remember your

promise till death; otherwise, our Xiver family will hunt you like ghosts.”

She warned Liam for the last time.

Liam nodded. Only then did the three of them stand aside and let Liam

walk forward.

Rose was in tears and laughter; she couldn't thank god more than she

already did for giving her a chance to choose this family over her

mother; that was the best decision she had made.

Halfway, Liam suddenly stopped walking, Rose froze, but before she

could play any negative thought in her mind, she was picked up in

bridal style.

Liam walked forward with Rose in his arms; he didn't show any

tiredness on his face; he didn't stop until they were in front of the stage.

Rose's eyes widened; everything looked the same. She once said,

"how do you know I want everything like this?" she just said casually on

her 14th birthday.

Liam raised a purple-colored diary in front of her and winked at her. "I

finished reading this." He said without any guilt in his voice.

Rose looked at the diary; now she knew why she never found the

journal after she left S country. She thought she had lost it somehow,

but she once thought someone had taken it away.

"How did you do it?" She asked as she glared at him; he was sure

ahead of a fox in cunningness.

Liam scratched his nose.

"I took it away before you left, I wanted you to leave something to me

so that I could wait for you patiently even though I knew that was

wishful thinking, but today I know I was never wrong."

Liam didn’t want to remember the painful period of their life.

Because he regretted not leaving everything to follow her.

Rose laughed wholeheartedly, "Yeah, I think so.” she said.

"Are you not gonna open your purple heart to know what I stored for

you there?" Liam asked mysteriously.

Rose nodded; she was more than excited to know about it; she walked

close to the big purple handmade heart and opened it, and as she

opened it, something burst out.

Rose looked at the balloons which flew up, and then she looked inside;

she was moved to tears ' seeing the dress she wanted to wear seven

years ago; she once said she would wear this dress if she got the luck

to marry the man she loves.

Everyone thought she was emotional, but Liam took it seriously, and he

even asked at that moment, "if a man gives you this dress, will you

agree to be his bride just for one dress?"

"Of course, I will." Rose eyed him like she wanted him to give her it

every moment, but she didn't know that Liam could not give her the

dress because she was too young for him to ruin the blooming flower.

But he finally did it even though it took him seven years. He was

delighted that he finally got the girl for this dress because he used to

shed hidden tears, fearing he could never get the bride he desired.

Rose turned her head, and suddenly her eyes turned teary. "Liam

Jones, am I allowed to be your bride now?" She asked because seven

years of yearning was too painful, so she didn't wait for a second

anymore.

Liam laughed; he was about to ask this, but she had already asked

him, but it didn't matter.

He picked the dress, searched for something in that dress, and found a

ring that was hung on the clothing.

Rose felt uneasy; she could understand he prepared the dress because

she desired it and made a promise, but why was there a ring there?

Liam went down on one knee in front of Rose on one and raised the

ring.

"Rose Xiver, I loved you for ten years in secret, but now I want to love

you for many ten years in the open and show the world I got the girl I

loved in my 20s and 30.

And I am more than willing to love her till I am 100s, so are you ready

to be your bride and give me a chance to love for another 100 years

even though I might not have a 100 years lifespan in my fate?"

Liam tried to hide his uneasiness and stared at her with his pitiful

expression.

Rose looked at the man in front of her with tears in her eyes, she

couldn't move her eyes from him, she loved this man the very first

moment Rose laid her eyes on him, she never hid her feelings, yet he

hid it like the precious pearl in the sea bottom.

He didn't even let anyone know how deep his feelings were for her, yet

they both wasted ten years from hiding and leaving each other.

Rose suddenly kneeled in front of the man “Liam Jones, I want to

spend my life with you, even the next few lives, which I know are

impossible, but I want to be your bride in this life." She was already

drowning in tears.

But she didn't forget to raise her hand in front of him; she was more

eager than him to tie their bond officially; Liam laughed and grabbed

her slender finger, put the ring, but stopped halfway when a disaster

happened.
