She didn't forget to raise her hand in front of him; she was more eager

than him to tie their bond officially; Liam laughed and grabbed her

slender finger, put the ring, but stopped halfway when a disaster

happened.

Rose regretted every moment she had lost, just hating him.

ring at our wedding." Liam kissed her hand.

Rose laughed and hugged him without a second thought.

David, who stood not far away, wanted to facepalm; he didn't even

change the ring or fix it before he came to propose.

If he was in Rose's position, he might have already kicked him to death;

he was so careless in such a serious matter, yet his foolish sister

accepted everything.

Even though he couldn't hear their words, he knew what Liam said to

make Rose get so emotional.

Kate and Nina were confused; they couldn't hear Liam's word from

there because they wanted to give the couple enough space, as Liam

requested.

"What's going on?" Kate asked David when she couldn't understand

what exactly went wrong; David turned his head and looked at his little

Wifey.

He couldn't resist kissing her, but he didn't want to ruin his sister's

innocent eyes, so he held back; if David could, he would go back to

their room and make love to his wife and then cuddle her to sleep, but

his wife would never allow him and drag him back.

ago."

David sneered while saying this; he didn't want to say this foolish idiot

"6 years ago, but I thought brother Liam didn't love Rose so deeply to

buy a ring for her?"

Nina couldn't help but say, as far she knew both of them loved each

Kate laughed at David's expression; he was scaring Nina; he would

never ruin Rose's happiness just because of his ego.

"No way, brother, Rose got her happiness after so much hardship and

pain; we can never do that to her, see the realization on her face. She

is happier than before; I'm happy seeing her happiness."

Nina said with a smile; there were tears in her eyes.

She was genuinely happy for Rose. Finally, finally, she got the man she

desired in her teenage years and desired to spend her youth and old

age with him.

“I'l be happier if you get your happiness because if I want to see

anyone happy more than myself, it will always be you, Nina." Suddenly

David's words changed the atmosphere.

Nina raised her head and looked at her brother; looking into his eyes;

she knew her brother wanted to give her the world's best happiness but

was unable to because she resisted accepting with her heart.

Kate looked at Nina, and she saw her expression change in a second;

others might think she was happy,

But as a woman, Kate could tell Nina was stuck in her past, and she

even gave up on there; she had no desire to fight for her future; she

accepted her fate.

Kate let go of David and grabbed Nina's hand.

“This world can only be beautiful if you have someone who will make it

beautiful for you; we humans need companions, to love, to be loved.

I know what you went through had caused enough harm to your heart

and soul, but Nina, bad memories are like a blooming flower, which will

slowly wither no matter how hard you want to cling to their memories,

so it is our choice if we want to throw the ruined flower or hold it in our

close, we will always stand behind you if you fall,

David and I will hold you on, but we can't push you to walk forward

because we are afraid we will push you too hard and harm you

instead.” Kate said, looking into Nina's eyes.

But her son needs her; she couldn't keep that shell that was hurting her

David was pleased with her answer; he knew she finally understood

They quietly left the lakeside because the couple was even more

Inside David and Kate's bedroom,

David pushed the girl into his arms and kissed her hungrily as if he was

punishing her; Kate didn't even have the chance to react; he had

already blocked her mouth.

Kate shivered; now she understood why he was acting so possessively;

from his body and jumped on Kate, Kate laughed, but soon her laughter

threatened him in a painful and pitiful tone.

“David Xiver, do you want me to throw you out and not let you enter this

bedroom for a month?" Her voice was hoarse.

David only stopped when he saw her looking at him as if he had

wronged her; David couldn't take it anymore and hugged her in his

arms.

"Wifey, don't look at another man; I hate it." He explained the real

reason he was so sour all night.

Kate snapped open her heart and stared at him with a speechless

expression. "Darling, he is now our would-be brother-in-law; you can't

be jealous of him just because I said a few words to praise his guts.”

Kate laughed, but she stopped laughing when she heard his answer.

“No, you can't; you are not allowed to praise any man other than me;

praise your darling all you want; I'm all ears," David said sullenly as he

put his head on her chest and hugged her.

Kate hugged his head and kissed his hair; even though she had no

energy in her body after he sucked her dry, she knew that the soon she

coaxed her sullen tiger, the sooner she could sleep in peace.
