The way he was scratching the ground, his nails became numb from

pain, and slowly blood came out, yet he couldn't even move his body or

make a sound.

At that moment, the sound of footsteps became apparent with each

step, and soon he felt someone standing behind him.

He turned his head and met Ace's eyes. He didn't want Mike to see him

in such a state, yet he couldn't escape fate; the pain was like the past;

in the past, when he used to be in pain, he could at least control it for a

while, yet today, the pain just took away his strength in a second.

When both eyes met, there was shock, surprise, and pain. He closed

his eyes and turned his head away so that he wouldn't have to see the

person, and it was Mike.

Mike was about to go to the airport to fly to S country, so he came to

meet his brother because he wanted to ask if he had any order for him,

but who knew the moment he entered, he would meet the beast here,

so he hurriedly entered,

wanted to know why he came since it was not even one week since he

drew blood from his brother.

But he had never thought he would see his brother in such a state; his

brother was lying on the floor in such an unbearable state; he always

had seen his brother on his throne, yet seeing his brother's pale and

sweaty face, weak and helpless, his mind blasted in his head, what's

going on?

Looking into his brother's eyes, he saw pain, darkness, shame, and

shock there; he couldn't express his feelings then.

"Brother." Mike kneeled in front of his brother; he didn't dare to look into

his eyes again because he couldn't bear the look in his eyes; he knew

his brother might not expect him to appear to see him in such a state.

"Don't ask anything.” Ace could barely make any sound, yet he knew

what Mike wanted to hear, but he was not ready to share this dark

secret with anyone, not even his brother.

Only Theo knew about this because Theo could help him with his

medicine, which is why he told Theo; otherwise, other than him, no one

would've ever known that Ace Welsh had such an illness in his body.

Mike's hands shook, yet he just nodded. "Help me to my room." Ace

didn't want to reveal any more secrets to his brother, yet he couldn't

help himself now.

Mike shouldered his brother; even though Mike was not stronger than

Ace, he could quickly meet a few people at once, so even though Ace

was more significant than him, he could only take Ace with him at ease.

When they reached the room, Ace looked at Mike. "Wait outside.” He

knew he needed to voice the order, and the secret door would appear

immediately.

He just needed to drag inside his body and reach for his injection. Mike

looked hesitant but obeyed; the moment he left, Ace opened the door,

pulled his body inside the secret room, and closed the door behind him.

Inside the room, the same thing happened. He injected the medicine

into his heart, and the pain slowly faded, but it took some time.

Mike sat on the ground outside the door and waited for his brother

patiently. He knew his brother's blood was the curse and blessing of his

brother's life, but he never knew he was suffering like this; why?

Why it has to be his brother and not him, the man almost forgot what

life felt like, yet pain became his life partner.

Mike wanted to stay behind and ask his brother why he was in pain, but

he knew, like usual, his brother would hide everything from him and

bear the pain alone.

That's why he didn't stay behind and left the villa; he jumped in his car

and left. After half an hour, Mike's car stopped in front of Theo's secret

villa. He walked into the estate. Since the security knew about Mike,

they didn't stop him.

Mike burst into Theo's office.

Theo cursed loudly.

"WTF, what are you doing here? Don't you know you're not allowed

here without safety precautions?"

Theo got angry by Theo's actions, but who knew not only Mike wouldn't

stop at the door and grab him and shake his body.

Even though both Theo and Mike were physically the same, Mike had

different physiques, Theo was not daring enough to fight against Mike,

and these three had other talents; Ace was an all-rounder, while Mike

was best at fighting, and Theo was best at medicine.

"Why is my brother in pain? Is it because of the thing in his body, or that

old monster did something to him? Tell me the truth; if you dare to hide

anything from me, believe me, I will destroy this entire place.” Mike

threatened Theo.

Theo was not afraid, but when he heard what Mike said, Theo turned

severe because he knew this crazy bastard might usually joke, but

when it came to his brother, Mike was damn serious.

Theo looked hesitant, Ace would skin him alive if he dared to reveal

everything to Mike, but if he didn't, this insane brat would destroy his

entire place, which he adored and treasured more than his own life.

"First of all, let me; we can talk like gentlemen; I will tell you the truth;

you shouldn't always use force." Theo smiled jokingly.

“You better be.” Mike let go of Theo and stepped back.

Theo smiled. "But first of all, tell me how you know about this. Is he in

pain right now?"

When Theo said this, a dark line appeared on Mike's Face, and the

smile on Their face vanished because he knew how much Ace had to

suffer all the time he reacted.

“I can't tell you everything,” Theo said, and Mike almost raised his

hand.

“Mike, your brother will kill me, and on top of that, this is my patient's

secret; I just can tell you it's not about the thing in his body, but it's

related to his trauma from the past.”

Theo looked damn serious when he spoke.

Mike fisted his hands and wanted to know why his brother was in pain.

If it were related to that bastard father of his, then he would just kill him

and end everything at once.

“Then are you saying he has been suffering since then?” Mike's heart

shook; he couldn't feel any strength in his body.

"Yes,"

Theo answered and this one word shattered Mike's entire world, he

blamed himself, and he called himself the person's brother since he

knew nothing about his pain and suffering.

“Then can't you just heal him?” Mike looked at Theo with a hopeful

expression even though deep down he knew the answer; if Theo could

heal him, Mike knew his brother wouldn't be in pain for so many years,

just like the thing in his body, which they had yet to find a cure for.

“It's something I can't heal with medicine; it's in his heart, his brain

might have forgotten, but his heart didn’t; his heart still remembered,

and it was still livid in his heart.

"What does it mean?” Mike asked in confusion.

“It's not in his control; it's not like he doesn’t want; it's just he couldn't”

Theo's answer made Mike fall into a puzzle; his brother didn’t want to

heal his heart.

“Yeah, it's not like he didn’t; he couldn't; your father’s presence is the

biggest line in his heart; he will always cage his heart until the end of

the day because of Damian Welsh; he was the reason he is trapped in

this life,

do you know what your brother wanted when first he realized he lost in

the taboo of this pain, he wanted to kill himself.” Theo knew that it was

Mike if someone wanted the best for Ace.

“What did he do to my brother?” Mike asked as he fisted his hand.

“It's something I also have no idea, I can just tell Damian Welsh ripped

apart Ace Welsh into so many pieces that even Ace Welsh wants to

glue them together, but he can't.” Theo's answer shattered Mike's last

bit of hope.

Thus, Mike fell on his knees; he couldn't even raise his head to the sky

for God's mercy because, for the second time in his life, he believed

God sent his brother only to punish him in this life.

Seeing him like that for the first time, Theo sighed; when he first found

out about Ace, he also reacted like him; after all, They always had one

friend who understood his possessiveness for medicine and research.

Yet as his friend, he could only find a moment of peace, but he couldn't

give him relief from this pain.

Theo patented his shoulder.

“I understand you, but we can pretend not to know about anything

because he doesn't know his pain which will double his pain, so just

pretend you don’t know. If we can’t help him, then we don't have any

right to trouble him.”

Theo said firmly, which made Mike raise his head to look at Theo.

Theo was shocked; there were tears in Mike's eyes, the boy was

always out of control and wild, but this helplessness in Mike's eyes

touched Theo.

“Just pray to god to send someone to remove the wound from his heart

and make him forget the pain.”

Theo's phone was ringing, and Theo grabbed the phone. When he saw

it was from Ace, he looked at Mike and walked out.

When he received the call, all he heard was Ace's anxious voice. “Did

Mike come to you?”

When Ace came out of his room, he expected to see Mike there, but

Mike was not there, and Ace knew Mike might have gone to Theo.

“I's okay, let him be; he just worried about you,” Theo said, not to make

Ace worried about Mike; the boy might see Ace in that state, and that's

why he was like that.

Ace was silent, then he spoke again, “Don't tell him what you shouldn't;

I don't want to see him in pain and guilt.”

“I know, don’t worry. Are you okay?” Theo asked in concern.

“I'm okay,” Ace answered without saying much.

Ace hung up, and Theo looked at Mike, still shedding tears and

drowning in his world.

“Why not me? Why him?” Mike suddenly asked in despair.

“What do you mean?” Theo asked when he heard Theo's question.

“I am also his twin, so why does all the suffering fall on his fate while I

have such a relaxed life? Since we're twins, we should have half of

everything, right?”

Mike's question made Theo fall silent; what he said was quite right, but

what he could say about someone's fate, Ace's fate was not God's

wish; it was his father’s evil intention that Ace was suffering.

“I'll just kill him.” Mike suddenly stood up and wanted to walk away

angrily; his brother would've been free if his father had died.

Before he could walk, Theo grabbed him from behind.

“Do you think his death can reduce your brother’s pain? No, if you kill

your father, his people will attack you and your brother, and everything

your brother did will go in vain.

Don't you know why your brother does everything at turtle speed, not a

rabbit's? He has a reason, believes in him, and does what he ordered;

for now, it will be best if we can stop your father from finding the child.”

Theo was much calmer than Mike; he thinks with his brain, not with

emotions.
