Nina looked at him with a doubtful gaze. "Believe me and call your

brother; it doesn't look good.” And stopping Noah, Mike took out his

pistol and ran toward the classrooms.

Nina looked at his left back. She couldn't help but want to go to her

son, but when she looked at the phone on the ground, she picked it up;

Ace had already heard everything

"Hello, are you there?" Nina asked as she shivered.

"Miss Xiver, don't worry, keep yourself safe, don't worry, Mike is not

alone, he will bring our son out safe and sound, just Mike said, please

inform your brother, if these people are from these people, then the

Ace looked at himself in the window's glass and couldn't help but hate

himself. His son was in danger, as his father was not there. What

could've been more painful to a father than this?

Nina remembered, took her phone from her purse, and called her

brother. David was busy with his little one, so he didn't notice the

At first, when they noticed Mike Welsh, they wanted to take action, but

when they saw their Miss was talking to him, it seemed Mike Welsh

meant no harm.

They didn't step in, but they noticed people with heavy weapons, and

they even killed the school security the moment they stepped in and got

alert; their priority was their young master since they just walked toward

the classroom.

Since Mike Welsh's warning, David tightened security around Noah

since he knew their target was Noah.

Nina cried when David received the call; Kate was the one who

received the call,

“Brother, where is brother?"

Kate was shocked; Nina would never cry like this until something

profound happened. She hurriedly handed the phone to David.

"What happened?” David asked as he stood up, putting Destiny on the

bed to play. Nina explained everything in detail, and David became

alert.

"Wait for me; I'll be there in a minute. Don't go anywhere and hide

yourself in a safe place until I'm there."

David comforted Nina, even though he damn worried,

David kissed Kate's forehead.

"Stay inside the mansion until I come back; I'll call Derek and Robert to

be here," David warned Kate sweetly, leaving in a hurry.

David gritted his teeth out of anger. It seemed he didn't warn this man

adequately, or they might have thought they could walk around his

sister and nephew so openly without his permission.

David didn't want Nina involved in this matter since they were handling

Noah's case; he knew as a mother, Nina would always make decisions

about her son from her heart, but in this matter, David needed to think

with logic.

He kept trying to find out everything in such a short time, but the more

he dug, the more he felt his search sank deeper.

But the moment he left, another storm came into their life the moment

David left the mansion; on the other side, when David and Mike

surrounded these people, they committed suicide since they knew the

rule of their master.

David shot the dead bodies in front of him in anger, but he couldn't vent

his anger as he looked at Mike with a dead stare. But Mike tried his

best to ignore it because he knew David Xiver was full of rage right

now, and if he said anything, it would trigger him badly.

But nothing went well when Robert and Derek Wolf came when they

heard the news; Robert almost spit in half; thank god David Xiver was

the most sensible enough not to mess with Mike and left with Nina.

Before Nina left, she looked at Mike and tried to make up her mind not

to think much about what that damn man said over the phone, but she

didn't know she wouldn't just mind his, she would even seek help from

this man over the condition he made to her.

The month was like a nightmare for Nina and the entire Xiver family.

First, Kate got kidnapped, and then some people attacked them in their

mansion and almost killed them; in this crisis, Nina finally understood

that she needed to make a decision; she couldn't hide behind her

brother all her life.

She decided to put all the responsibility on the man who was the root of

the problem in her life and her son's, but the time didn't favor them.

Nina waited and made her decision until her sister-in-law returned.

But helplessly, the situation forced her to make a deal with the bloody

man who ruined her life; she decided to keep her deal with him once

her brother found her sister-in-law and nephew.

Time passed, and the time was not easy for any of them. David lived

like a corpse without his wife and son, while Nina lived in guilt and fear.

Her guilt ended the day when Kate and Daniel returned, but she was

far raised to the point that even her sleep fled from her eyes when she

thought everything would remain a nightmare.

But the truth finally came the day David stood before her empty hand.

"Brother, where is Noah?"

Rose looked behind them, and in the early morning, David took Noah to

the hospital since Noah was constantly kept under the doctor's

observation.

David looked at Nina with a painful expression and grabbed her hand

“Nina, I know this will kill you, but you have to be strong for Noah;

whatever I did was best for you and Noah."

David knew what he did might be unforgivable, but he had two choices:

either throw one in hell or push both of them into that hell; he chose first

because it was already one of Noah's fates when his master said it was

impossible without Ace Welsh.

Nina's heart shook because she could feel the dark, ominous feeling.

She knew something happened, and that's why her brother acting like

this.

Her mind blasted when David finally opened his mouth to tell her the

truth: "I send Noah to M country to Ace Welsh." That was the world that

broke everyone's heart in the Xiver family.

Kate was holding Daniel when she heard her husband; she looked at

him dumbfounded, while Rose almost fell from the couch from shock.

They had never thought David would do something like this; it was like

throwing a bomb at them.

A terrifying chill rose in Nina's heart. "Brother, what are you saying?

You're scaring me now." Nina held onto the last bit of strength she had

in her body; if not for the last bit of hope, she might have lost her

balance and lost consciousness; she believed her brother would never

do this.

"He showed the reaction from the past today, Nina. He needs Ace

Welsh, and there can't be any delay." David's eyes reddened, and he

felt thousands of swords stabbing his heart at the look Nina gave him;

seriously, his sister trusted him so much, yet he had no way but to ruin

her last happiness.

"Then why did you tell me, brother? Tell me." Nina suddenly shouted at

the top of her lungs; the fear she kept in her heart finally happened;

Noah's condition started showing again; she would leave everything

behind to go with her son in that complete hell.

"Because I already killed myself thinking I have to hand him over to that

monster; I don't want to ruin her sister's life alone since I can't protect

my buddy; I also don't want to lose my sister.” David would've never

explained if this person were another, but this was his younger sister,

whom he wanted to protect with his life.

Nina finally couldn't keep standing and fell. David was on time and

grabbed her, but Nina pushed him away. "Brother, how can you do this

to my son? How can you do this to me? Brother, I felt ruined today.

Nina had never once blamed David for anything in her life, but she was

heartbroken by her brother today; even Alina Martin's revenge didn't

hurt as much as her brother's protection doing right now.

Kate put Daniel down and walked to David. "Why did you tell Nina

about Noah before handing him to a stranger? How much that boy

would be......" she could finish her words because her heart was also

broken into pieces, but when David looked at her with a helpless gaze,

she knew Noah's condition might be out of hand.

She grabbed Nina's shoulder and looked at her. "Nina, which is more

important right now, blaming your brother or trying to find out how Noah

is?" Her words made Nina and Rose stop on their track and look at

David with a sparkling gaze as if they were waiting for his words.

David took a deep breath to hide the pain in his heart. "they have not

reached M country yet; when Noah gets the treatment, Ace Welsh will

inform me." David turned on his heels and left because he didn't want

to see the heartbroken expression in his girls’ eyes.

Kate stared at David's leaving; she could tell how much burden he had

on his shoulder and how helpless he was that he was forced to hand

Noah to a man whom David Xiver hated to the bone just because

Noah's last straw of life was connected with that man.

Nina cried until she fainted, and after that, she woke up; she was like a

living corpse without any emotions, which scared Kate and David. They

tried everything and even gave Noah's news to her, but she didn't react.

David knew about Noah's actual condition, and to assure Nina, he

pretended that Noah was okay, but deep down, David was suffering the

worst, and he could tell if Nina found out about Noah, she would die,

and this time, nothing could save her.

On the other side, Ace looked at his unconscious son with a frown on

his face. His son was late for treatment because of Xiver's

stubbornness, and now he was in a coma.

He hated them, but he was thankful for their bringing his son to this

world with so much dignity.

"How is my son? Theo." Ace looked at Noah's face, which was very

familiar to him because god had copied and pasted his little version on

Noah; he couldn't express what he felt the moment he saw his son in

front of him.

He had seen Noah's photos, but this was different; something in him

moved that he never thought existed. The boy was the existence of

him, even though the boy was a stranger to him and he was to the boy,

but their bond existed, and it fell through my heart very deeply.

Theo looked at the boy; years ago, he treated the boy, not knowing he

was Ace's son, and now he knows, yet the situation was the same.

Adam.

David sent Aiden and Adam along with Noah. Ace Welsh looked at

Aiden and Adam; these two irritating people were getting on his nerves.

Deep down, David was suffering the worst, and he could tell Noah

would be very scared alone. Adam was the most trusted among Noah,

and Aiden was there because David had a deal with Ace; Aiden would

be part of Noah's treatment no matter how long it would take.

David sent two people to accompany Noah so Noah would not be left

alone.
