The next few days were like torture to the Xiver family; the happy family

fell into deep despair; there was no news about Noah, even though

David said everything was okay, but no one believed him. Nina didn't

even eat; only Kate, furious with her for acting like this, forcefully fed

her.

It's not like Kate was not sad, but she understood her husband better

than anyone in the world; if it were not about life and death, her

husband would have never agreed to such a ridiculous deal, but in the

end, even after the world, it was all about Noah's life, their suffering,

and pain mean nothing in front of his life.

Kate was the one who made Nina fear her and forcefully made her eat

her meal on time; even though everyone knew it was wrong to force

Kate looked at the untouched plate in front of Nina; Kate sighed,

walked, and sat beside Nina.

“Nina, do you want to Kill yourself like this? But if you keep doing this,

then what about Noah? The boy is hanging on a thin thread of life, yet

as his mother, you don't care.” Kate sounded harsh, but Rose and Amy

knew Kate was doing it for her good.

Nina flinched when Kate took Noah's name; Noah was her lifeline, so

how could she stay unmoved hearing her son's name?

Nina raised her eyes and looked into Kate's eyes, whose eyes were

also red, but Nina was holding back, knowing one at least had to hold

on; she grabbed her sister-in-law’s hand

"Sister-in-law, I want to go to my son," Nina said.

Kate sighed; they were back to that same situation again, even though

Kate also wanted to send Nina to Noah, but remembering David's

words, she held back her urge.

David said he would rather lose one instead of two since the matter

was out of their control, David decided to put stone on his heart and

protect Nina under his wings.

Seeing Kate's silence, Nina also fell silent. She did not know what her

sister-in-law was thinking, but she was a mother; how could any reason

be enough to heal her heart? Her heart was torn apart when her son

was sent away without her consent.

David told everyone everything was okay, but Nina was Noah's mother;

her heart was in silent pain; she could tell her son was not OK.

So she went to David to ask him the truth when she heard the truth

“Noah is in a coma. I don't know what we should do, but second brother

Noah's condition is getting worse day by day. Let us prepare for the

worst." Aiden was the one who was on video chat with David.

A sob escaped from Nina's mouth; her brother was helpless this time;

country to her son, broke her completely,

sounded resentful, he resented her for sending their son back to him

“I'm coming to M country; please send me where you kept my son,"

Nina said truthfully.

Her sudden boldness stunned Ace Welsh, who thought she had given

up on their son; what changed her mind? He knew David Xiver wanted

to protect his sister, but how could she, as the mother, abandon their

son when he was on the verge of death? He misunderstood Nina; he

thought she was not as good as he had heard; she was a cold-hearted

"Miss Xiver, please, since you decided to abandon your son, you don't

need to come here anymore. I, Ace Welsh, are still alive. As long as I

live, Noah Welsh will keep breathing; he doesn't need your sympathy

who abandoned him; shame on your so-called motherhood." Ace coldly

mocked her.

Nina was stunned by his accusation. She felt guilty, but she would

never admit that her brother did everything behind her back because

her brother's reputation was more important than this man's thought

about her; who cares what he thinks about her?

"Mr. Welsh, even if you donated a sperm, don't think you have the right

to mock me; it's Noah Xiver; he would never be a Welsh, so don't twist

your thought and put on others; I don't care what you think, I just want

to see my son, are you going to give me the location or I should call my

brothers to ask? This was the first time Nina dared to talk to someone

in this tone.

She was angry by his harshness; he was a stranger to her, so it didn't

matter if he mocked her, but how dare he question her motherhood.

Ace Welsh was speechless; this was the first ime someone had just

bashed him on his face; even though his father treated him like a rat,

outside, he was like a lion that would rip anyone who dared to mess

with him. Hence, he had a reputation for being cold and heartless, and

But this woman just mocked him.

He was irritated; he didn't know why he didn't feel angry; instead, he

In the silence between them, Nina felt a little irritated; she thought he

wouldn't answer her, so she was about to hang up when she heard him

say, "I'l send my men to pick you up from the airport, Miss Xiver." Nina

was stunned; she thought he would hang up on her after all; she had

just scolded him.

She had heard about him from her sister-in-law and had some idea

about this man, and his reaction frustrated her; she hurriedly hung up.

She packed a few things in her backpack and took out her passport;

since she was from the Xiver family, her passport had special privileges

like the other Xivers, so she didn't need any other document.

She waited for the night to fall; she didn't want to alert her brother, who

strictly warned her not to go out.

The mansion fell silent, and Nina came out of the room; she wanted to

at least inform Rose before leaving, but she knew Rose that girl would

surely stop her.

In the living room, Nina looked around, and she walked downstairs;

when she was near the entrance of the main door, she was relieved;

she thought she could leave without anyone's notice, as long as she

could pass the entrance, she could go for M country, the moment her

hand touched the door, the light in the living room turned on.

Shock was written on Nina's face when she turned and saw someone.
