Chapter 11

11

Fake Dating... or is it real?

Lisa held the body in front of her, squeezing her.

"You smell so good." Lisa mumbled as she nuzzled into a delicate neck. She was half awake and she forgot she was cuddling Jennie.

Jennie was already melting so she turned herself around, facing Lisa now. She had to do damage control before Lisa turned her into mush by being unintentionally sweet like that.

"If you keep this up I'll feel like you actually like me Manoban." Jennie teased.

Lisa's eyes opened wide after that, her grip slacking on a very naked, very attractive Jennie in her arms.

"Um—Sorry." Lisa said, untangling herself from Jennie and rolling to her side of the bed.

Jennie kissed Lisa quickly, might as well. It's not like they hadn't cuddled all night and had sex the night before. It's not like Jennie didn't realize she's totally into the girl in front of her. Jennie had to kiss her before she jumped her bones again because goddammit now that she figured out her feelings she realized how damn hot Lisa was. Especially in the mornings with that mussed up sex hair.

"It's okay, you were just doing what I asked." Jennie said, her voice coming out a little raspy because she was getting flashbacks of last night and all she wanted was to pull Lisa back into her and beg her to grind on her again.

Jennie hadn't really doubted Lisa would be good at it, Lisa was a dancer. Of course she could move her body so perfectly like that. Even when Jennie thought she hated her she was sure Lisa was probably good in bed but after last night, after actually experiencing it, Jennie thought Lisa might have invented sex.

She really needed to stop thinking about it now though because she was sure she looked flushed.

So she got up, abruptly before she gave herself away over her little crush on Lisa. She forgot she was naked, so she squeaked and ran to the bathroom, trying to hide her body as much as possible.

Lisa looked on bewildered for multiple reasons. For one, Jennie was cute when she screamed all high pitched like that. For two, naked Jennie was so goddamn hot and most importantly for three, Lisa suddenly remembered she had just had the hottest sex she had ever had in her life the night before and it had happened with the girl she was supposed to hate.

Maybe angry sex was a real thing. That's all it had been right? It wasn't that she actually liked Jennie. That would be ridiculous. Lisa just had eyes. Jennie Kim was hot as fuck and of course Lisa would be turned on by her. Of course Lisa had wanted to please her when they were in the middle of it. It was in her nature to want to make hot girls come after all.

The cuddles though. Why did they cuddle? More importantly, why did Lisa like it so much. It had always been a point of argument with Suzy. They had always fought over it when they were together because Lisa always got too hot when they would cuddle so she never cuddled Suzy for very long, she usually only did it for few minutes before rolling away and it hurt Suzy's feelings yet here Lisa was, practically glued to Jennie Kim all night.

It was the sex. Lisa decided. It's just because they'd had really good sex. Maybe they hated each other but there was no denying Jennie was incredibly good in bed. She found spots Lisa didn't even know she had last night and those nails had driven Lisa crazy and the way she had talked to Lisa, god, that baby brat really knew how to turn her on.

Lisa had to shake herself out of it because if she kept this up she would go into that bathroom and try to take Jennie again because just thinking about last night was turning her on again.

She must really be sex deprived or something. Good thing the wedding was coming up. They could finally break up and Lisa could find someone to fulfill her sudden needs without being a cheater. Though for some reason the thought of sleeping with someone else didn't really appeal to her. She had tried so hard to picture someone else, anyone else other than Jennie last night but it was so hard when Jennie had looked that good and sounded that good and felt that good and oh my god stop Lisa.

"Your toothbrush is under the sink." Jennie mumbled, now fully clothed and coming out of her bathroom and making Lisa jump from her sudden appearance. Lisa got hot all of a sudden, feeling like Jennie had just read her mind and realized what she had just been thinking about.

"Kay. Thanks." Lisa said, getting up too, not bothering to cover herself up as she walked. Jennie had already seen her after all, what was the point. She could have sworn she saw Jennie blush though, before averting her eyes. Lisa almost went back and stripped Jennie naked again after that.

________

"Jendeukie, you planning on being a singer or something?" Jisoo asked as soon as she saw her come out of her room.

"Hmm? What do you mean?" Jennie said as she took a seat at the dining room table and Chaeyoung handed her some pancakes. "Thanks hubby." Jennie said to her gratefully.

Jisoo smirked. "Oh, I was just saying."

Lisa chose that moment to come out of Jennie's room too.

"Since you were practically singing Lisa's name last night." Jisoo continued, a devious smile on her face.

Jennie choked on her banana milk after she heard that.

"I'm pretty sure the neighbors know her name now." Jisoo teased. "That's a song isn't it babe?" Jisoo asked her girlfriend who shook her head at her antics and continued making more pancakes.

Lisa froze, all red in the face too now. Jisoo tried to figure out who looked more embarrassed but she couldn't because they were both equally blushing.

"Maybe you should write a song with Lisa's name in it." Jisoo added, snickering. "I'm pretty sure I heard you scream it like forty times last night. It was a hit though, it would be a great song. I didn't even know your full name was Lalisa though, but it's catchy." Jisoo finished, addressing Lisa now.

Lisa didn't really know what to say except an "Um—yeah. Legal name. Government name. Lalisa. Uh huh."

"So what were you two doing? Practicing for an idol show?" Jisoo pressed, having the time of her life as she messed with them about what they'd been doing the night before.

Chaeyoung shook her head at her girlfriend but let her keep teasing them, continuing to make a set of pancakes for Lisa too.

"I don't know what you mean Chu." Jennie said before taking an enormous bite of the pancakes before she opened her mouth and said something stupid.

"Well you were singing Lisa's name and Lisa was being all bossy with you and I could have sworn I heard drumming." Jisoo said, unable to hide the smirk now. "Wait, hold up."

Lisa was avoiding everyone's eyes now and Jennie had to force herself not to bolt.

"You're both glowing right now." Jisoo pointed out. "Jendeukie! Was the drumming I heard last night the bed? This whole time I thought you were practicing for a music show, since it was all rhythmic and shit."

Neither Lisa or Jennie could answer and Jisoo really had to force the cackles down because she was having so much fun teasing them about how loud they had been last night.

"I lost sleep because you two were fucking last night didn't I?" Jisoo finally said, unable to keep up her act anymore because Lisa and Jennie were super red in the face now and Jisoo couldn't keep the laughter down anymore. "Here I thought you two were being productive!"

"What!" Jennie shrieked.

"No! We weren't—no!" Lisa shouted in unison with Jennie.

"I suppose that hickey my cousin gave you is just make up then?" Jisoo said, pointing to Lisa's neck.

Lisa slapped the side of her neck to hide it.

"Other side Limario." Jisoo said laughing hysterically now, unable to contain it anymore.

Lisa smacked the other side of her neck.

"There's nothing there Lisa." Chaeyoung said amused. "She's messing with you."

"Anyway, next time you guys want to bang make sure it's not when I have to get up early because seriously Jendeukie, you're hella loud."

Jennie was too red and embarrassed to say anything.

"And you, it's your fault. Why would you tell her to be loud? Have some respect for my apartment Limario." Jisoo teased Lisa too.

"We didn't— I—I didn't?" Lisa said flustered.

Chaeyoung took mercy on them then, walking up to Lisa and putting a hand on her cheek before speaking.

"Sorry Lis. Just stop while you're ahead. It's an expensive apartment and Jennie's room is literally on the opposite side of Jisoo's, as far away as it could be and we still heard you. Both of you. She's just going to keep teasing you the more you deny it." Chaeyoung said as she tapped her cheek and handed Lisa the pancakes she made for her.

Jisoo was relentless throughout breakfast. They couldn't even deny what they had done the night before because Jisoo kept using direct quotes on them, saying pretty much everything they said to each other while they had been intimate the night before verbatim.

"Honestly, I owe you guys an apology." Jisoo said, still chuckling. "I can't believe I thought you two were faking it. After last night, damn. I owe my chipmunk the biggest apology though because she totally called it."

"Called what?" Chaeyoung asked curiously.

"The sexual tension." Jisoo said, popping a piece of pancake in her mouth. "Not to mention it was your idea to play matchmaker that first time."

"Matchmaker?" Lisa asked.

"What does that mean?" Jennie asked too.

"We never told you because you hated each other and you were both dating someone else but Rosie thought you'd be perfect together so we set up that restaurant date to introduce you to each other. Then you ended up hating each other and I thought Rosie was crazy for thinking you'd be good with each other. Anyways babe, I owe you a date for not believing you."

Lisa thought she couldn't get any redder than that but apparently she could.

Jennie was contemplating telling them the truth because she was really struggling with these new found feelings for Lisa and if they kept teasing her about their fake relationship Jennie was sure she would end up giving herself away.

___________

Jennie went all out. It was her first charity event so she had to. Everything needed to be perfect, including her. So Taehyung dressed her and she got her nails and her hair done and she spent hours getting ready for her very own first charity gala.

She was nervous, what if no one came? What if she disappointed the kids? Their families were coming, the ones who could make it would be there so they could talk about them and make speeches and urge people to donate. Jennie figured maybe letting the family members talk about the kids would motivate people to spend more cash. But what if people didn't come? What if she used the last of her charity fund money to throw this big party no one would take seriously.

Jennie was pacing around her apartment nervously. Thinking about all the things that could go wrong and calling people to confirm everything.

She really didn't need to. She'd gone to the event hall more times than she could count that week to make sure everything was set up but Jennie was nothing if not a perfectionist. So she called again. She called the people bringing the alcohol and the event staff and bugged Bambam for the fifth time that day about all the food trucks turned caterers.

"I got you, don't worry. Lisa would kill me if I let her girl not have what she needs for this thing. She already threatened me." Bambam chuckled into the phone.

"Lisa called you?"

"She's called me more times than even you have. Between you two I haven't been able to use my phone." Bambam said jokingly, but it was pretty true, not to mention the fact Lisa kept coming to the event hall when Bambam wouldn't be able to answer the phone when she called, thinking something was wrong and scolding him for not answering and Bambam would have to spend ten minutes explaining what he'd been doing so she'd stop being annoyed that he hadn't updated her and stopped worrying that something had gone wrong.

"Sorry Bam. I just need this to be perfect."

"Don't worry about it, its for the kids right? Honestly, I'm just happy to get to be a part of this, and stop worrying, the place is perfect. I'm here already and it looks badass, you guys did great. There's already a line."

"What? People are there already?" Jennie said in equal parts panic and excitement.

"Yeah, don't worry, security's got it though. They're keeping everyone back while we finish setting everything up—Oh hold up Jennie. I have to go. They're asking me questions about the set up."

"Yeah, no go. Do your thing. Sorry for bothering you."

"No worries!" Bambam said before pulling away from his phone, about to hang up. "Lisa what are you doing here? Again! I told you we've got it covered, why won't you believe me? There's nothing for you to do." Jennie heard him say before hearing the click of the phone, the line going dead.

"Lisa?" Jennie asked, staring at her phone.

Jennie shrugged it off and finished getting ready, thinking she might have heard wrong because there was no way Lisa was possibly there. Why would she even be there and take time out of her day to go help. She had done so much already.

Lisa picked Jennie up an hour later, just in time to make it for the party that was supposed to start at 8.

Lisa rang the doorbell, holding a bouquet of flowers. She didn't think much of it, but she figured she should get Jennie at least something for putting this whole thing together. There was no other reason other than wanting to congratulate Jennie for working so hard for the kids so she got her flowers.

Lisa felt like the wind was knocked out of her when the door opened.

"Holy shit." Lisa breathed out.

"What? Oh my god, do I look bad? Should I change?" Jennie asked, freaking out already. She was already nervous in the first place so her mind assumed the worst after Lisa's reaction.

"No. No don't change. Please don't change. Sorry. I—um." Lisa didn't really know what to say so she decided to be honest. "You look—um—well you just look really good is all."

Jennie couldn't hide her blush. "Are you sure? Is this okay?" Jennie asked nervously, pointing to her outfit.

"You look gorgeous Jennie. Seriously, and you know I would never ever admit that willingly so you know it must be true because no one is holding me at gun point to say that right now." Lisa pointed out.

"Oh. Okay. Thanks." Jennie mumbled back, blushing again.

Lisa complimenting her was doing things to her heart. Jennie really wished she could go back into being in denial about her feelings for Lisa but now that she figured it out it was like trying to piece shredded paper together or put fireworks back into their container after being fired or folding a fitted sheet properly or figuring out how not to spend too much money once you break a big bill, it was impossible basically, and this was not good.

Because now that Jennie knew of her feelings she kept reacting to Lisa and she needed her ex-sworn-enemy-turned-fake-girlfriend-turned-I-really-wish-she-was-my-actual-girlfriend not to find out that Jennie had a crush on her.

She would never hear the end of it for one. For two, Lisa would probably be revolted by her crush and yeah Lisa and her always fought but Lisa had never been outright cruel to her or anything so she maybe shouldn't worry so much but her anxiety was spiking. She really needed to get through this evening unscathed.

Jennie forgot she was staring. Her mind had been racing and Lisa looked really, really good in that outfit. They matched perfectly, courtesy of Taehyung. He had always been great at picking outfits for them even with Kai but Jennie never felt like she quite matched as perfectly with Kai as she did with Lisa right now and it was making Jennie lose her breath again as she took Lisa in.

"Baby brat?" Lisa asked in concern, because Jennie hadn't answered her in about a full minute.

"Huh?" Jennie asked, finally snapping out of it. "Oh—Sorry, just nervous about tonight." Jennie answered hastily, making an excuse over the fact she had been too busy checking Lisa out to answer whatever Lisa had been saying.

"It's okay. Um—I was just saying I got you these?" Lisa said, suddenly feeling embarrassed about the flowers she was holding.

"For me?"

"Yeah, you know, since you worked so hard and all. For the kids. Thought you deserved it?" Lisa mumbled out.

"Thank you Lisa, they're beautiful." Jennie said blushing, yet again. This evening was really going to be hard if Lisa kept acting like her actual girlfriend.

___________

Jennie felt like she was going to some sort of Hollywood movie premiere. Lisa drove them there as usual, but this time there were photographers and a red carpet and a long ass line when they got there. Jennie felt like some sort of vip when Lisa opened the door for her and the cameras flashed.

"People actually came Lisa." Jennie said in a tone that showed her nerves but also her excitement at the fact there were so many people waiting to go in.

"Did you doubt our chipmunk?" Lisa asked smirking. "I told you, she knows half of Korea and probably all of Seoul I think."

"No. I was just worried because nothing ever goes right for me." Jennie admitted truthfully.

"Stop that. You pulled this off perfectly."

"What if something goes wrong?"

"Nothing will."

"But what if it does?" Jennie worried.

"Then you'll fix it like you've fixed every other thing that has gone wrong this week. Look around Jennie. It's perfect."

Jennie had to admit everything was going well. There were so many people laughing and betting on the different tables. The line outside to get in was ridiculously long and it seemed like everything was going off without a hitch.

Except Jennie realized something, ever the observant host.

"I need to make a call." Jennie said in worry, panicking again.

Lisa gently grabbed her wrist to stop her.

"What are you worried about now Jennie?" Lisa asked in concern, not missing the anxious look Jennie was suddenly sporting.

"There won't be enough alcohol! There's too many people." Jennie said frantically. "It'll all be ruined!"

Lisa smiled softly at her, caressing her dumpling cheeks in attempt to calm her down.

"Okay. Let me take care of that. You go greet your guests." Lisa said.

"But—"

"Just leave it to me Jennie. Trust me, if there's anything I know it's alcohol." Lisa tried to joke, wanting to reassure her.

"What if—"

"Go say hi to Kim Gyuri's brother before he comes to tackle you in excitement." Lisa urged as she watched the five year old little boy launch himself at Jennie and do just that a second later.

"I've got it." Lisa assured her, walking away as Jennie held him.

Jennie's heart skipped a beat at the smile Lisa sent her way before leaving. She really wasn't going to get through this evening unscathed at this rate.

_________

"Yo, Bam."

"Lis! You made it to a party early for once."  Bambam teased.

"Blame the girlfriend." Lisa joked.

Bambam smirked. "Yeah, she's got you whipped."

"Whatever. I'm not whipped." Lisa said indignantly.

Bambam raised an eyebrow at her teasingly because he knew Lisa was very much whipped.

Lisa shook her head in response. "Anyway, I need your help."

"What's up?"

"You still have the number to that bootlegger?" Lisa asked.

"The guy with the kegs?"

"Yeah."

"Of course, how do you think I get my alcohol supply so cheap!" Bambam answered.

"Can you call him? Jennie thinks we're going to run out of drinks before the end of the night and everything needs to be perfect." Lisa said. "You know, for the kids." Lisa added hastily as she watched Bambam smirk at her, knowing full well he was about to tease her about being whipped again.

"How much do you want?"

"Umm—Shit, I should have asked her, she's the one that's good with numbers." Lisa said, facepalming.

"How many people are still in line outside?" Bambam asked.

"At least a couple hundred." Lisa said.

"Okay, so when we threw that house party how many kegs did we get?" Bambam asked Lisa.

"Three I think?"

"We ran out of beer about half way through the party." Bambam said "So we need more than that probably."

"So we need at least four then?" Lisa suggested.

"I'll get five just in case." Bambam said. "Cover for me here?"

Lisa nodded, going back to Bambam's serving booth. Thankfully, the food was already prepared or Lisa would have burned the place down. All she had to do was hand it to Bambam's customers.

"Alright, he's coming in about thirty minutes." Bambam said grinning as he came back.

"You're the best dude. Here." Lisa said, trying to hand him some bills to cover the kegs.

"Keep that." Bambam said, reaching for his tip jar. "And this." He said, handing Lisa the cash.

"Bam, I can't take that." Lisa said, shoving it away.

"It's not for you, it's for your girl's charity."

"If you keep this up you'll go broke Bam, take it back, I'll pay for the kegs." Lisa protested again.

"Just take it. Donate it. It's for the kids. Besides, thanks to your girl I've already made more in thirty minutes than I have all month. Seriously, I could retire for the year if I wanted to."

Lisa looked at him dubiously.

"I swear Lis."

Lisa still didn't believe him so Bambam opened his register and showed her the amount of cash in there, raising an eyebrow again, challenging her.

"Holy shit. You made all of this today? It's not even eight thirty yet." Lisa said in awe. The party had barely just started after all.

"Yeah, now take this and thank your girl for me, and stop by the other guys' booths because they want to donate too. Everyone is banking right now so they all decided to give up their tips to help with the charity."

"Bam—" Lisa protested again.

"Fine, if you won't I will. I'll collect it and hand you that massive wad of cash later. Tell Jennie thank you and that we love her for this, not just cus I'm sort of rich now but also because of the kids. One of their families came to eat here earlier and I swear I almost cried when they told me about their kid who actually made it and survived their surgery. I would have done this for free to be honest, knowing about them."

"I'll let her know." Lisa said.

"And Lisa?"

"Yeah?"

"Don't fuck it up with her like you did with Suzy." Bambam warned.

"What? Suzy is the one that broke up with me! How'd I fuck it up?" Lisa asked indignantly.

"Because you stopped paying attention to her dude. Don't do that with Jennie. That girl is special. Take care of her."

"I am." Lisa said fiercely.

"I know. You called me way too many times today for me not to know that but you're also too stubborn for your own good sometimes so I'm just letting you know. Don't get all aloof and lose her because I don't think I've ever seen you this happy and I need you to stay this way so please don't fuck it up with your girlfriend."

Lisa tried not to blush. She really was happy these days but it wasn't because of Jennie or anything. At least that's what Lisa told herself.

"Aren't you supposed to be threatening her about hurting me instead of the other way around?" Lisa said to him, deflecting.

"Nope." Bambam said, grinning.

"You're my friend, not hers!"

Bambam shrugged. "I like her though."

"Are you trying to steal my girlfriend?" Lisa said with narrowed eyes, feeling a little jealous now.

"As if I even could." Bambam answered, eyes glinting because right at that moment Jennie had walked up to Lisa, looping her arm between hers and Bambam watched as Lisa immediately relaxed. Then she put a possessive arm over Jennie's shoulders, hugging Jennie to her and glaring at Bambam menacingly, threatening him with her eyes.

Bambam only laughed.

"Hey." Jennie said, shooting Lisa a gummy smile that Lisa kind of really loved.

"Hey Baby." Lisa answered, "Um—Brat. Baby brat." She amended quickly.

Jennie grinned even wider before turning to Bambam.

"The food is perfect Bambam. Thank you so much for doing this." Jennie said honestly. She'd been looking for him the whole time so she could thank him for helping set up all the catering with all the food trucks from their school.

"Anything for you." Bambam said, winking at Jennie, trying to get a rise out of Lisa.

It worked because Lisa glared at him again and dragged Jennie away a second later.

"Wait, Lis—" Jennie said bewildered, "I still have to thank him for —"

"He's fine." Lisa bit back, sending one last glare to Bambam who laughed harder in response.

Lisa was so whipped for her new girlfriend it was ridiculous. It was a thousand times worse than with Suzy. Bambam was happy for them. He shook his head, grinning as he continued catering to everyone who kept coming up to his booth.

__________

"Auntie!" Jennie squealed as she saw her and hugged her.

"Ruby Jane, you've been holding out on me."

"What do you mean?"

"You didn't tell me about your nonprofit this whole time so you could hide your talents right? So I wouldn't recruit you."

Jennie blushed a bit.

"Is this okay? Did I do it right?" Jennie asked her aunt seriously because she really valued her opinion, especially about non profits. Her aunt was really the queen of raising money.

"Jennie, I'd probably be jealous of you and try to sabotage your event if this wasn't for such a great cause. This was such a great idea. I'm really going to have to steal it." Mrs. Kim teased.

"Oh well, it wasn't necessarily my idea." Jennie admitted. "It was my girlfriend's. It would have probably been a bust without her." Jennie said pointing to Lisa.

"She's being too modest Mrs. Kim. I only mentioned the casino thing and my Jennie organized the whole thing. She's super good at what she does." Lisa bragged, meaning it. "I don't know how she does it all. She's making all A's and she's going to be a surgeon and on top of all of that she started this charity and saved all those kids lives and managed to organize this party so she could keep taking care of them. It's pretty amazing."

Jennie was sure she was as red as a tomato at Lisa's words.

Mrs. Kim grinned at them.

"Jisoo was right for once." She said.

"About what auntie?" Jennie asked questioningly.

"About you being in love." Mrs. Kim said, smirking at them. "You two make a good team. Use that. That's how I became so successful too, the most important thing is to keep the people you trust around you Jennie. You always ask me for advice and that's it. That's all I have. Keep Lisa around because she's obviously smitten with you." Mrs. Kim teased.

Lisa started blushing now too.

Lisa was saved from responding by Miss Ho, who approached them a second later.

"Lisayah!" Jessi said, hugging her. "I saw the keg guy at the front, he's the same one you used for the dorms isn't he?" Jessi said accusingly.

"It's Bambam's doing!" Lisa answered indignantly.

"You used Bambam as an excuse back then too. When I caught you drinking at the dorms. What ever will I do with you?" Jessi questioned good naturedly before turning to Jennie. "Keep this one out of trouble. Don't let her sweet talk you." Jessi said before finally looking at Mrs. Kim. "The kids got us free alcohol, lets go get drunk." She whispered loudly enough for Jennie and Lisa to hear.

Mrs. Kim giggled and grabbed Jessi's arm and they both made their way to the kegs that were now in the middle of the venue.

"I wanna be them when I grow up." Lisa said as she watched Jessi push everyone back so she and Mrs. Kim could get first dibs on the keg.

"Me too." Jennie said, nodding and giggling as she watched her aunt take pictures of her and Jessi drinking from the keg.

__________

President Kim could count on one hand the amount of  times he had been upstaged by his sister and right now was one of them.

He choked on his whiskey when he saw the pictures.

He almost threw up when it went the wrong way after he saw the hashtags under the picture, he'd learned what hashtags were recently.

He scrolled as he got another notification of his sister making another post and he saw her posing with his daughter, he read the hashtags again.

#ProudAuntie #RubyJane #SurgeryForTheKids #BeHereOrBeSquare

Then he got another notification again and his noona posted another picture, this time of her, Jennie, and that Thai girl.

These girls are the #DreamTeam the caption said that time.

He got one last notification of his sister, drinking near a keg with the dean of students, Miss Ho, and his niece Jisoo and that one blonde girl next to them, all cheering towards the camera.

#ItsJustWater, I swear, but if you want to pay for our drinks donate here!

There was a link to a charity website after that caption.

President Kim sputtered. His sister always tended to be ridiculous like that but what was this about his daughter? Why was Jennie being tagged? Why was she there considering he hadn't forced her to go to an event for once because he hadn't even known about it.

He found out Jennie was hosting her very own charity event ten minutes later, after he kept looking through social media over all the pictures about the party and looking through the link his sister posted.

Why the hell hadn't he been invited?

President Kim was pissed. How could his daughter not tell him about this? He was so angry he got dressed in his most pristine suit and drove to the event.

He ignored the line and went straight to security, trying to get in.

"There's a whole line buddy. I know you're old but you can't be that blind." A young guy in a suit pushed him back.

"This is my daughter's event. So get your hands off me and let me through."

The guy got on his walkie.

"Hey Lis? Some dude says he's Jennie's dad is here? I'll send a picture."

"No need Kookie." Lisa answered back through the walkie.

"Do I let him through?" Jungkook asked.

"Nope. Jennie said anyone claiming to be her father wasn't allowed in." Lisa said back.

"Got it boss." Jungkook said smirking at the man in front of him.

"I am her father though!" President Kim retorted. "Let me through!"

"Sir. Step back please, before I call the cops." Jungkook said, shoving him back.

"Let me in! I'm the president of the goddamn university for gods sake!"

Jungkook smirked before talking into the walkie again. "It's definitely him. He's being all entitled just like you said he would boss."

"Should we let him in?" Lisa asked through the walkie.

"Might be fun." Jungkook replied, stepping aside to let Jennie's father in like Lisa had instructed him to do earlier that day. She'd told him he had to taunt him first before allowing him in so he had done just that.

President Kim huffed, adjusting his suit before walking in and giving Jungkook an indignant look for daring to keep him away.

Lisa found President Kim immediately, excusing herself from Jennie as soon as Jungkook had told her he was there.

"President Kim." Lisa said, handing him a flute of champagne from the bottle she had gotten for Jennie. "Got this just for you, since your refined taste probably isn't a fan of beer." Lisa said mockingly.

He grabbed the champagne. "What is this?" He said as he looked around at all the college kids and some of his staff drinking and playing games and having fun.

"This. Sir. Is your daughter's incredibly successful charity event." Lisa said.

"Jennie really did all of this?"

"Of course, President Kim. How could you doubt it? It's Jennie, she's made more money for her own nonprofit and for everyone helping out here in thirty minutes than you ever did at one of your events."

"She couldn't have." He said indignantly.

"She did. I only let you in so you could witness it for yourself, sir, so feel free to roam around and watch how much better your daughter is at this than you. Oh, and also, if you so much as approach her tonight I'll get you thrown out." Lisa threatened, locking eyes with Jungkook who nodded, already knowing what he was supposed to do if Jennie's father came within yards of Jennie. Lisa had already coached him.

"You're here to observe. You're only in here so you can see that you fucked up for disowning your perfect daughter. You're here to see she's making it without you just like she promised. Honestly, I don't know how you ever doubted it. As if.

Do you even know anything about her? Do you know how smart she is? How capable? How she started this whole thing at a mere sixteen years old? How many kids she's already saved? How she works relentlessly to find them doctors and manages to convince them to help those kids for free?

How she did all of this relentlessly despite worrying it would come off wrong even though she should know she can't fail because she's that fucking good." Lisa said, poking his chest harshly now. "You fucked up dude. You let her go and now she's going to fucking make you regret it."

"She'll be back. She'll fail and she'll come running back for my money. She won't make it." Mr. Kim said smugly.

Lisa smirked at him.

"She doesn't need your money. She's got her own." Lisa said.

"She needed it before."

"Yeah, and she used your ass. She played you. I used to think she was just a spoiled brat who used daddy's money to help herself but I was wrong because she was just playing you and everyone else this whole time. She's hella smart and she used her circumstances to her advantage. To help people. She convinced you to give her your money so she could use it for a better cause. You're an even bigger idiot than I am for not realizing it."

President Kim frowned then. "She needs me. She needs my help."

"She needs no one. She's independent and perfect all on her own. You know I'm right. You denied how much better she was than you your whole life and I can't wait to watch you fall when she proves she's so much better than you. Especially after launching her own nonprofit." Lisa said smirking again. "Anyway, enjoy my girlfriend's party." Lisa taunted before walking away. "Make sure to place your bets and let her take your money again."

"Lis? Where were you?" Jennie asked. She'd been looking for Lisa for the last ten minutes.

"Sorry babe." Lisa said, not realizing she let the pet name slip out. "Had to take care of an unwanted guest."

Jennie however did notice the babe and she really fucking liked it but she had to pretend she didn't and besides she was way too worried about this unwanted guest ruining the event and all to dwell on it too much.

"Unwanted guest?" Jennie asked. "What happened?" She asked worriedly.

"It's okay. I took care of it." Lisa reassured Jennie.

"But—" Jennie tried to protest.

Lisa grabbed Jennie by the shoulders.

"You trust me don't you?" Lisa asked, looking into her eyes.

"I—Well." Jennie stuttered because of how intensely Lisa was looking at her and all Jennie wanted was to kiss her. "Yeah, I guess so." She mumbled.

"Then don't worry about it. It's taken care of. Now go be a good host and get on that mic like you practiced and go tell everyone about those kids' stories so they keep donating and betting."

"What if I mess up?" Jennie asked. "What if I ruin it and they stop helping."

"You won't."

"But—"

"You won't." Lisa said firmly. "I've never seen anyone work as hard as you always do. You've got this. Relax baby brat. You're going to nail this just like you do everything else."

"Promise?"

"I swear."

"Come with me?" Jennie asked Lisa.

Lisa laced their fingers together, taking Jennie to the stage, adjusting the mic for her before smiling encouragingly as Jennie spoke.
