Chapter 28

(5)

Mysteries Of Unknown Lovers.

"Qabool ha."

"Qabool ha."

"Qabool ha."

(I do)

As soon as these three words left from each of their mouths, everybody took a sigh of solace.

Zarrar couldn't be happier than this, the girl he loved truly and deeply was sitting beside him as his wife.

Inhal's face was covered by a red dupatta and Zarrar wanted nothing more than to push that veil away and see his new bride.

He clenched and unclenched his fist in anticipation.

Zara came forward and spoke something in Inhal's ear.

The bride nodded and stood up carefully.

"Where are you taking her Zara?"

Instantly, he also stood up and held Inhal's hand which was already in Zara's grip.

"Relax Bhai, I'm not kidnapping her, I'm just taking her to your room."

"Wait, I also-"

He was cut off by Ahmed's father.

He placed his hand on Zarrar's shoulder.

"Can we talk?"

Nodding, he saw Zara taking Inhal away from them.

"Today everything that happened nobody thought about it, it was unplanned and unexpected."

Nodding at the old man, he lowered his eyes.

Waheed Shoaib spoke again after a pregnant pause.

"Especially for Inhal, all of this is too much for her."

Heaving a tired breath, Inhal's uncle uttered again.

"I want you to take things easy on her, she faced so many hardships at such a tender age and I don't want her to go from all these difficulties again."

Zarrar nodded in agreement.

"I know and I understand, I deeply care about her and I promise you will never hear any complaint from her."

Her uncle's lips turned upwards and he patted at Zarrar's shoulder.

"And about the Rukhsati, your father and I decided that it will take place after the sixth month."

Soon, Zarrar's lips thinned in a straight line.

"It will give Inhal some time to process everything and to prepare herself for her new life.

Smiling lightly, he dabbed Zarrar's shoulder and left without listening to the disagreement of the groom.

Ahmed came ahead after seeing his father leaving the distressed groom.

"Ab kia hogya, shaddi ke baad bhi mun kiu latka hua ha."

(Now what has happened, even after the wedding why are you are sulking)

Narrowing at his best friend, he spoke.

"They are postponing the Rukhsati, I mean what's the need of it when she's already my wife."

"Calm down angry bird, they are trying to stabilize the situation for Inhal, Zarrar she's very sensitive, and today's event drained all her energy, she needs time, bud."

Ahmed tried to reason out the condition to the frowning groom.

"But I can handle-"

As he was speaking his mother came and interrupted his rant.

"Zarrar go to your wife, she's going to leave in less than twenty minutes."

Huffing, he pivoted on his toes.

Eating the distance with fast steps, Zarrar reached his room.

He knocked at the door, but getting no reply he entered his enormous bedroom where a timid girl with lowered eyes was sitting on the corner of the bed.

The red dupatta was still covering her face.

Zarrar saw her rubbing her already red hands. He took a seat beside her.

Hesitantly, he separated her both hands and held them in his grip.

He looked at her for some time.

Gulping a huge lump, he removed the veil from her face.

She blinked and averted her eyes.

Her red cheeks, rosy nose, and bloodshot eyes indicated that she had cried buckets before he came.

A soft smile settled on his eyes seeing his gorgeous wife in front of him.

Muttering 'Ma sha allah' he leaned in and gently kissed her forehead.

Blush coated her neck and cheeks.

A deep chuckle erupted from his chest.

He didn't want to make her uncomfortable, so to make the atmosphere light he did what he's mind suggested!

"Where's your phone?"

"Huh?" She looked up and got stunned.

He repeated his question.

From the nightstand, she picked up her phone and handed it to him.

After seeking her permission, he opened her phone's camera.

"I see all modern grooms and brides take selfies on their wedding day, I also want to do it with you."

A wide grin settled on his lips.

"NO!" She abruptly stopped him as he set the angle of the camera.

"Why what happened?"

"I-I don't look good, my make up is ruined."

He smiled wholeheartedly.

"But to me, you are the most beautiful woman on this world, and your disheveled state looks cute on you."

And without hearing her protest, he took dozens of their photographs together, some were like - he was smiling like a fool and she glaring at him and some came where they both were laughing when Zarrar cracked the lamest joke.

They were both seated closely, Inhal saw his long fingers typing something on her phone.

When she paid attention, she saw him changing his name from. "Mr. Sikander," to "Zarrar, my handsome man."

"Did you unblocked yourself."

She narrowed her eyes at him.

"Of course, and don't you dare block me again."

"Whose number was that when you last time called me."

"Oh, it was mine but I bought it just for that night."

She bit her lips and lowered her eyes.

"I will message you daily, if you dare to ignore me I'll come to your house even if I'm on the flight I surely will land the airplane on your house rooftop."

Threatening her, he places her phone on the side and again held her hand.

Gazing at her gently, he murmured,

"I'm so grateful about having you as my wife Inhal, I'm promising you that I will do whatever will be in my hand to make you always contented in life."

Inhal's eyes got misty.

"Allah gave me you when I least expected it, I don't even want to think about anything else, I just want to start my new life with you."

He was going to tell him how much he loves her when the knock on the door disturbed their moment.

He groaned out loud.

"Don't go!" He begged her with puppy eyes and Inhal couldn't control her chuckle.

"C'mon bhai, time's up, Bhabi has to go."

Zara spoke loudly from outside the door.

"Women, give them some time, you're such a killjoy."

Affan hissed at her who snorted in response.

"Bari Ammi ask me to bring Bhabhi, her family is leaving."

Affan mimicked her.

"Affan don't mess with me, I will tell Taya Aba about your poor grades."

He clenched his jaw.

"What else can you do other than complaining about me to Dad?" He muttered furiously.

She opened her mouth to speak but got interrupted when the door opened hastily and a scowling Zarrar emerged outside.

"Grow up you two already!"

Finding the perfect opportunity, Zara went inside the room where Inhal was standing - ready to leave.

It was hard for Zarrar to again let her go but he was not hopeless or disappointed this time.

He could wait for some more time for her because she was his now.

Thinking this, he slept peacefully after so many days.
