Chapter 24 - Christmas Morning

My eyes went open when I smelled a good smell of food in the morning, until I realized it was Christmas morning. And again i woke up on Alex's bed but this time with him still sleeping next to me, he was wearing the same sweater from last night and he looked peaceful. Those long lashes that fell on his cheek while his eyes were closed.

"Merry Christmas Alex" I whispered to him.

I slowly got up from the bed then got out from the bedroom to found Kelsie was cooking in the kitchen, some of the food was already ready to serve as i greeted her first.

"Morning Kels" i said.

"Merry Christmas" i said.

"Merry Christmas Bella" She smiled while kept cooking then i sat on the island table, watching her cooking with a smile.

I had the best view that morning where the sun light was shining through the lake which showing the best view that morning. Even it was sunny the temperature was 4 celsius which made me felt cold. I wished it was snowing it would create the best vibes for Christmas.

"Merry Christmas!!" I heard noah screaming while walking down the stairs by himself and he was adorably still wearing his dinosaurs pajamas.

"Be careful baby" Kelsie said.

He ran into the kitchen before hugging me, I hugged him so tight and that little man smells like a baby powder.

"Merry Christmas Noah" i said while smiling.

"It's Christmas morning! Merry Christmas everyone!" Charlie walked into the kitchen with a camera on his hand.

"Hey bell say merry Christmas" he said.

"Merry Christmas from Alexander Adams's Mansion" i waved to the camera.

"Merry Christmas Charlie" i hug him then he hugged me with one hand cause he was holding a camera.

"Merry Christmas Bell" he said.

Charlie was also like a dad to me, both Kelsie and Charlie are like my own parents and i adore them so much.

"Merry Christmas honey" Charlie wished Kelsie then kissed her lips and it was the sweetest things that i saw in the morning.

"Good morning everyone" Alex voice suddenly appeared and he was already awake, i turned my head around and he looked sleepy.

"Merry Christmas Alex!" Noah said to Alex which made Alex had to leaned down to receive a hug from Noah.

"Merry Christmas too bud" he said while brushing on Noah's back and my lips curled into a smile.

He let Noah go, then he walked into me then he smiled at me, "Merry Christmas" i said to him with a smile on my face. "Merry Christmas" he said before putting his arm around my waist to pull me into a hug.

I was surprised when he hugged me but it was Christmas, maybe he just felt happy so i hugged him back. He always smells so good even it was early in the morning.

"Merry Christmas everyone" Alex said.

"Merry Christmas Alex" Kelsie said after she was done cooking.

"Merry Christmas" Charlie said while holding on the camera, Alex was smiling into the camera.

"Thank you for making us break fast Kelsie" Alex said then Kelsie smiled.

"Your welcome" she smiled.

"Oh my god gifts let's open it!!" Noah sounded so excited which made us all come into the living room.

All of us sat on the living room together to open up the gift from under the Christmas tree, i saw the presents that Alex and I wrapped together yesterday. The gifts that i packed with him were already there under the Christmas tree. I didn't know when was Alex put there, maybe when i fell asleep.

"It's for you Noah opened it!" I said then he looked so excited.

Alex was sitting next to me and Noah and i could see a happiness in Alex's eyes when he watched Noah unwrapping his gift.

"Oh my god! It's a play station!!" He sounded amaze.

"Oh my god bell that is too much" Kelsie said then i shook my head.

"No, he deserves it" i smiled.

"But Noah, you need to use it wisely okay don't forget to keep study!" I said.

"Yeah yeah i will! Thank you!" He said and he looked so happy.

"Here's a present for both of you" i told Kelsie and Charlie.

"Here let me hold the camera" Alex said to Charlie then he began to record Kelsie and Charlie.

They started to open it and they looked surprised when they opened their gifts,

"Bella? It's too much oh my god" Kelsie said.

"What is it?" Alex asked kelsie then she pulled out a Chanel box out of the wrapping paper.

"Woaah thank you so much bell! This is amazing" Charlie said after pulling out a box of shoes.

"Thank you so much Bell" Kelsie said before pulling me into a hug.

"There are still couple of gifts for both of you" i said to them.

"We also have a present for both of you" Charlie said then i was surprised cause I didn't expect that they were going to give a present to Alex too.

Alex gave the camera back to Charlie before they gave us a present and i was so excited to open it, i slowly unwrapped the gift and it was a white frame and it has a picture of Noah, Charlie, Kelsie and i together in a picture.

"Oh my god this is the best gift" i said.

"Thank you" i said.

"Woah thank you so much" Alex said while pulling out a frame from the box, it was a picture of us being framed and it looked adorable.

"Thank you so much Kels, Charl" i said.

"Your welcome" they said.

"Mommy lets eat I'm hungry!" Noah said.

"Lets go honey" Kelsie said.

"Whoops you step under the mistletoe love birds" Charlie said while holding on the camera.

"Woah no we're not uhm" I said trying to avoid to kiss him cause it'll be awkward.

"Whoever put that mistletoe in there" i asked.

"Me" Noah smiled.

"Come on you just have to give him a simple kiss then done" Noah said while Charlie was only laughing and holding the camera.

"Do it for the camera" Charlie smiled and i knew he was teasing us.

"Do it do it do it" Charlie said followed by his son Noah.

I turned around to face him who was already looking at me wit those beautiful brown eyes of his until he slowly leaned closer then his soft sweet lips slowly brushing mine. I was smiling while he was kissing me so did he, it happened real quick then we awkwardly pulled out.

"Yeah!" Charlie said while Kelsie was just smiling over it, and Noah he was just loving the situation.

We spent the whole day with Kelsie's family until they went home, it was the time where Kelsie and Charlie taking out of the present into their car. Noah was so happy with his present and he couldn't stop jumping around the house then go home to try his new toys.

"Bye Noah" i smiled.

"Thank you Bella, I'll see you very soon" he said.

"Thanks Alex can i come here again someday" he asked Alex who was already looking down at Noah who was wearing his oversized blue coat.

"Of course, this house is fully open for you" he said then it made Kelsie and i smiled.

"Okay everything's inside" Charlie said after he closed the the baggage.

"Okay Noah say bye to Bella and Alex" Kelsie said.

"Bye guys!" He said then got into the car.

"Bye Bell see ya next year, Thank you" Kelsie said while hugging me.

I have a fully day off until new year and i was so happy that I finally could rest,

"Thank you Kels" Alex said.

"Thank you Alex bye" Kelsie said before get into the car.

"Bye bye guys thank you!" Charlie said before got into their car then drive away.

We waved at them until the car exiting the gate, I turned around to get into the house. The kissed under the mistletoe still stick around my brain somehow. We spent the whole day with Kelsie's family by watching a movie, playing a play station, eating lunch until dinner again.

"Hey" i said.

Broking the silent, cause after they left the house was back into a super quiet and silent house again.

"Thank you, okay I didn't think you're going to invite them" i said to him who was walking behind me.

He smiled while looking down onto the floor.

"How was the idea could come into your head?" I asked him.

"I don't know" he said.

"I have a gift for you by the way" he said then he told me to wait in the living room so i sat on the couch alone while waiting for him.

He got out from his room with a simple paper bag on his hand, he walked int the living room while holding it until he sat next to me.

"For me?" I asked him.

"No, for your dog" he said.

"Funny" i said.

"Can i open it?" I asked him.

"Of course" he said then i started to open the first present inside of the paper bag.

"What's Charlie's job?" He asked me.

"He's a video editor" i said.

"No wonder why he always in his camera" he said then i smiled.

"You seemed pretty close with Noah" i said.

"He's a fun guy" he said.

"He feels like he has a big bro now" i laughed while still opening the gift.

"Woah" i said after i saw a box of Chanel perfume after I unwrapped the gift.

"How did you buy these all?" I asked him.

"With Gina's help haha" he said then i smiled.

"Thank you" i said.

"There's another more" he said.

I unwrapped the other one and revealed a tiffany n co box which made me smile, how could this man. I opened the box and it was a set of jewelry, there were a rose gold bracelet, A rose gold necklace with a letter 'Amore' on it and last but not least the ring.

"Woah this is too much" i said.

"Do you like it?" He asked me.

"Of course very much" i said.

"But I'm sorry I forgot about yours" i said.

"No you've gave me all of these in Christmas" he said pointing our living room.

"Thank you so much" he said.

"Your welcome" i said.

"Have you call your parents?" He asked me.

"No I haven't" i said.

"Have you?" I asked him.

"I have this morning when i woke up" he said.

He's more care than me, he's an unbelievable man that I couldn't predicted since the first time i met him.

"There's one more" he said.

"What?" I smiled.

"I've booked a hotel for new year for us" he said then i shook my head with an unbelievable thoughts.

"Where?" I asked him.

"Sydney" he smiled, i heard one of the best place to spend new year is in Sydney and i could feel an excitement.

"That's amazing" i said.

"Great vacation before getting back to work" i said.

"Have you think about moving in?" He asked me.

"Uh haven't.., cause you know I travel a lot" i said.

"Okay" he said.

"I'm going to call my parents" i got up from the couch to call them.

I got into my room which was on the second floor then began to dial my dad's number first,

"Hey I'm not in the phone please leave the message" i sigh.

"Hey dad.., uhh"

"Merry Christmas, it's been a while how are you? You're probably celebrating with your lovely family"

"Well sorry for not contacting you for so long, I'm pretty busy these days" I stopped.

"I knew you've been contacting Kelsie a lot and I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to call you back i miss you too" i said.

"I'm celebrating Christmas with Kelsie and her Family like always, but this year i celebrate in my boyfriend's house"

"Don't worry he's a lovely guy you'll meet him soon, okay dad i wish you the best wishes bye i love you" i said then ended up the phone call.

I began to contact my mom but she answered the phone and it made me smile to hear her voice again,

"Hey darling merry Christmas how are you?" She asked me then i smiled, i missed her so much.

"Merry Christmas mom, I'm very good here how are you?" I asked her.

"I'm fine, where are you now sweetheart?" She asked me.

"I'm in California, in my boyfriend's house" i said to her.

"I've seen you guys so many times in the news he looks lovely how is he?" She asked me.

"Yeah he's fine" i said.

"I thought you're celebrating with Kelsie again?" She asked me.

"Yeah we were Alex invited her family to his house today" i said.

"Sound lovely" she said.

"Who are you going to spend new year with?" She asked me.

"With Alex, he's taking me to sydney" i said to her.

"Aw that's lovely hon" she said.

"Where are you going to this year?" I asked her.

"In my house, you know our house is facing the beach which is still the best view.., we're going to have a barbecue like always and fireworks" she said then i let out a sigh.

"Sounds fun" i said.

"You can always come if you change your mind" she said.

"Thank you" i said.

"By the way your cousin Selena is getting married next month are you going to come?" She asked me then i was surprised to know that my cousin is getting married.

"When is it?" I asked her.

"January 13" she said.

"Oh we'll see about that i'll tell Kelsie to arrange the schedule" i said.

"I've made a dress for you, I'll send it if you want to come okay" she said.

"Thank you mom" i said.

"Okay mom i gotta go, I'll text you later" i said.

"Bye honey love you" she said

"Love you too" i said then ended up the phone call.

I crawled into the bed then lay myself on it until my eyes were so heavy then i fell asleep.
