Chapter 47 - Mom's house

I'm going to have a night at my mom's, we arrived there almost midnight her child is already asleep. Only her husband that greet me after I walk in, he looks worried and I didn't expect that he's going to be care.

My mom give me a guest room, it is so clean and empty. Like the FBI said there must be an agent that follows me everywhere and they do give me an agent to have keep their eyes on me.

I took a shower before getting ready to sleep, even though I know It is going to be so hard for me to sleep tonight. I crawl onto the bed then cover myself with a blanket, until my mom suddenly walks in. She's looking at me in a silent from the doorway before she decided to walk in.

"Hey," she said.

"Hey," I said.

"How are you feeling," she asked.

"Normal," I said.

She looks at me in a silent.

"You know it's okay to be not okay sometimes," she said.

"I know," I nodded.

She stays in a silent like she doesn't know what to talk to anymore.

"Is everything okay with you and Alex?" She asked me.

"We're not together anymore, everything's fine," I said.

I know that I'm not completely open to her cause I Just don't want her to think about me too much, and I feel like this is my own problem and I can solve it by my own.

"Bell," she said.

"I know I might be the worst mom in the world,"

"But you also have to know that nothing is going to change how much I love you,"

"Don't ever think that you're only going to make me have a lot of thoughts about you,"

"well, I already do,"

"I care about you that's why I have a lot of thoughts of you,"

"And knowing that I don't know what's really happened with my own kids make me feel worst," she said.

"Don't ever feel sorry to tell me everything dear, I need you to open up with me and you need me too," she said.

"Living alone doesn't always make you can handle a problem by your own baby,"

"This is a big deal that threaten you, my own flesh and blood," She said.

She stays in a silent while looking at me with a worried eyes,

"Please don't push me away," she said.

That words touched my heart,

My eyes are too afraid to look at the person who gave birth to me saying all of those words.

"I'm sorry," I said.

She looks at me before a tear fall from those eyes,

"Don't be, please forgive me," she said then pulls me into a hug.

Woke up so late today I don't know but I can say after last night talk, my mom slept next to me and that was the most peaceful sleep that I had after a while. I didn't expect I can sleep for that long after what I've been through, maybe I should just move in with my mom.

I walk out of the room smelling the good smell of food, I found my mom is cooking lunch in the kitchen and the house is empty.

"Good morning honey," she said.

"I'm making lunch or brunch for you," she said while putting the fries onto the white plate as I sit in front of her.

"Where is everybody?" I asked her.

"Jeremy he's working, and Eillisha she's in school," she smiles at me.

Oh I forgot I have a step sister called Eillisha, I don't even know how old is she now and Jeremy, he is my mom's husband which technically is my step dad that I don't really close with.

"How old is Eillisha now?" I asked her while still closing my eyes.

"She's 6 now," she said.

"Wow what," I said.

"I thought she's 4 or something," I said.

"You've been gone too long big sister," she said.

"She was only 2 when you decided to leave the house,"  she said while washing her hands.

"Ow," I said.

"Then I never really came back," I said.

"Yeah," she said.

I admit it that I didn't really like my mom's other daughter back at that time so I don't really know how Eillisha in person like and what is she look like now.

Maybe she saw me back in my cousin's wedding, but I didn't. Now I realize how rude I am as a step sister and as a daughter. I forgot them just like that, I forgot them when I was on top and now they are the first people that come when I'm in my lowest position.

"She'll be home in a few minutes," my mom smiles.

And I admit it that I'm nervous,

"Mom," I asked him while she's playing her phone.

"Sorry for being gone for too long," I said.

"It's fine honey," she said while eating the fries from the plate.

"Does Eillisha hate me?" I asked her.

"Honey..," she looks at me.

"Of course not," she said.

"Mom I'm home!" I heard a little girl's voice from the front door.

To be honest this is the first time ever I'm nervous to meet a 6 years old girl.

"Welcome home honey," my mom said before running out of the kitchen to welcome Eillisha.

"How's school honey?" I heard mom's voice from the living room while I'm still walking into the living room.

I walk slowly until I slowly see a little girl with a long dark brown eyes with a big blue eyes in the living room. She's wearing a dark purple cardigan with a white dress under it, she's wearing a bag that look bigger than her own body size. I can see she's wearing a yellow boots on her feet while her hand is holding a box of meal case.

I look at her figure from far away while listen to any words she said to mom, her stares are too innocent and that stares make me 100% regret to hate that innocent angel. Maybe I was too young and full of hate and disappointed thoughts because of my parents. But looking at that girl, she doesn't deserve hate.

"Jen didn't bring food to school today so I gave her half of my bread," she said to my mom as I lean onto the wall with my hands cross under my chest.

"Oh honey you did a great job," my mom said before pulling her into a hug.

She's hugging mom until his eyes caught that I'm watching them from where I am standing,

"Mom?" She asked mom until my mom realized that she noticed that I'm here.

Join them into the living room.

I slowly step into the living room as Eillisha looking up at me, those stares are unexplainable I cannot tell what is that mean.

"Baby, you remember her?" My mom asked her.

The room is so quite, We're waiting for this little girl's answer.

I look at her with a big question mark on my head while my brain is still trying to process that she's already 5.

She slowly nodded,

I lean down then ask for a handshake, she slowly put her hand on mine.

"Hey,"

"I'm Bella," I said.

"I'm Eillisha," I said.

"I know you," she said.

"You are my super busy sister," she innocently said then it make my mom and I laugh.

I cannot believe that she doesn't hate me like I did, and I feel bad to ignore her for all of these years.

"Owh," I smile.

"Glad you're back home," she said.

"Mom said you're flying around the world cause you are a very successful person," she said then it makes me smile.

"You finally got a day off?" She asked.

"Yeah," I smile.

"It is nice to finally see you," she said like a formal little person.

"Me too," I said.

"Okay girls I've made lunch let's eat together," my mom said.

We follow her into the kitchen with a glad feeling that Eillisha knows me and she doesn't hate me.

It's raining hard at night, Eillisha is asleep in her room and it's just me and my mom in the living room. Mom said Jeremy is going to go home late cause he still has so many things to do at the office.

My mom and I are watching news until a big news came from The Adams company,

"Are you okay to watch this?" My mom asked me.

"It's fine," I said.

"This big news come from The Adams company according the next in line leader of the company, Mr Alexander Adams,"

"The young Bachelor brought into the FBI office according to murder right after the police officer visited the young model Isabella clark's apartment due to Murder case,"

"Police and FBI haven't publish the detail but we'll be keeping up," they said.

"The media should shut their mouth before the police speaks up," my mom said.

Suddenly I heard the door bell is ringing,

"I get it," I said getting up from the couch

I open the door and got surprised to see Alex's Appearance in front of the door with a wet clothes. He looks like he got wet because of the rain, I mean doesn't he got here by his car and why not using an umbrella?

"Alex!" I'm surprised.

"Bella," he said.

"What are you doing here, you shouldn't come here," I said and about to close the door but he doesn't let me.

"Bell, please let me talk for a second," he said.

"Alex listen I have a 5 years old sister and I don't want anything happened to her," I said.

"Bell, can you hear me out?" He asked me like there's nothing happened to us.

"I was,-"

"Did you kill him Alex?" I asked him which make him stops talking.

He looks at me in blank, like he doesn't believe that I just asked him that.

"I didn't kill anybody, bell," he said.

I stay in a silent,

"I know you don't want to meet me and I know it is going to be so hard for you to trust me but I didn't kill him," he said.

"And you're probably don't want to see me after what happened to us," he said.

"Bell, If Anything happen to me," he said.

"I'm sorry," he said.

"I just want you to know that I love you," he said.

"I love you so much,"

"You're the most amazing thing that ever happened in my life," he said.

"And I'm sorry that I put you through all these," he said.

He looks at me with water keep falling from his wet hair and clothes,

I close my eyes while I can feel my heart ache,

"I think,"

"We better not seeing one another again," I said.

He looks at the floor with those strong stares,

"You're right," he nodded.

He looks up at me,

"Stay safe Bella," he looks at me.

"I will," I said.

"Goodbye Isabella Clark," he said while looking at my eyes.

"Goodbye Alex," I said.

He looks at me for the last time before walking away then run into the rain, then gone.
