Chapter 710 - A Scene at the Cinema

The entire hall erupted and the female fans shrieked.

“Holy shit! Is Jin Yan, my idol, in love?”

“That was such a pleasant surprise! I’m glad I didn’t leave, or I would have missed that part!”

Xia Ning looked at Jin Yan in surprise as well. “You have a girlfriend?”

Jin Yan smiled at Xia Ning. “Can’t I?”

“What?” Xia Ning covered her mouth with a surprised and unbelievable look in her eyes. She asked, “Really? Since when? Why didn’t you tell me? Are you sure you should have spent today with me? Won’t your girlfriend be angry?!”

Xia Ning looked at Xia Ning in amazement. “You ask a lot of questions. Which one should I answer first?”

Realizing that she had asked too many questions, Xia Ning chuckled. “My bad. Come, we should leave now. But you’ll have to tell me everything later.”

She was going to rise to her feet when a girl leaned over.

“Are you Jin Yan?” The girl looked at Jin Yan with twinkling eyes.

Despite his mask and sunglasses, Jin Yan’s facial features were still recognizable.

“Hello!” Knowing that he wouldn’t be able to hide his identity, Jin Yan took his sunglasses off and smiled at the fan with a finger at his lips. “Please keep it a secret.”

The fan nodded, but she felt dizzy and fell backward.

“Watch out!” Jin Yan steadied the fan.

The falling and helping made a lot of noise, attracting the attention of the leaving audience. They spotted Jin Yan right away.

“Am I seeing things? Look who that is!”

“Seriously? Why is Jin Yan here?”

“That’s Jin Yan! I’m sure of it!”

“Jin Yan, Jin Yan!” All the female fans rushed towards Jin Yan and Xia Ning’s direction.

Seeing that, Xia Ning was given a headache. She had always known how passionate Jin Yan’s fans were.

“What should we do now?” Xia Ning whispered.

Helping the fan to sit down, Jin Yan took Xia Ning’s hand, then said, “Run, of course!” He then led her toward the exit.

“Jin Yan, could you sign this for me?”

“Jin Yan, I’d like to take a picture with you.”

“Jin Yan, Jin Yan...”

The female fans blocked Jin Yan’s way, creating a boisterous scene in the hall.

“Everyone, make way please!” Jin Yan pulled Xia Ning toward the entrance.

Xia Ning felt as if she was going to be crushed by all these fans. If she knew this, she wouldn’t have stayed behind for the post-credit scene.

“Jin Yan, Jin Yan, please don’t leave!” The fans called after them.

Jin Yan and Xia Ning left the hall, then ran toward the exit. As soon as they were outside, they headed for the stairs of the mall, instead of the elevator. The fans all rushed toward the elevator but found no one there. Since one of the elevators was going down and the door to the other opened at that moment, they filed in immediately. The rest of the fans turned to the stairs.

However, Jin Yan and Xia Ning only went down one floor and stayed there. Hearing the thumping footsteps on the stairs, they knew that the fans had gone further down. They let out a sigh of relief.

“Music King Jin, you’re so popular! We can’t even watch a movie without an accident!” Xia Ning said in resignation.

Jin Yan chuckled. “Well, it was my fault. Come, I’ll treat you to a late-night snack!”

“Forget it. Compared to that, I’m more interested in your girlfriend.” Xia Ning looked curiously at him. “When did you get a girlfriend and who is she?”
