Chapter 711 - His Girlfriend Is in the Showbiz?!

Jin Yan was almost thirty but had stayed single. Although his fans didn’t like the idea of him having a girlfriend, they would be disappointed if their idol wasn’t wanted by any woman.

The fans reached the first-floor lobby and ran out of the building, but Jin Yan couldn’t be seen anywhere.

“Where’s Jin Yan?”

“I have no idea. What a pity. We’ve lost track of him.”

“Hey, did you notice that Jin Yan was holding someone’s hand? It was a woman.”

Hearing that, the fans eyed one another and exchanged looks. They said in unison in the end. “It was Jin Yan’s girlfriend!”

“Hey, did you notice who she looked like?”

“I took a picture. Come and have a look. She looked really familiar to me too!” One of the fans took out her phone, trying to figure out who the woman with Jin Yan was.

In the picture, Jin Yan held the woman’s wrist in one hand and had his other hand on her shoulder as he helped her make her way out.

A lot of pictures were taken and one of them caught the woman’s front face.

“I know her!” One of the fans cried out. “It’s Xia Ning!”

So Xia Ning is Jin Yan’s girlfriend?! The idea instantly shocked everyone, rumor was going around before Chinese New Year that the two of them were going out. Back then, Jin Yan had gone to pick Xia Ning up from the airport himself and the two of them were spotted in the same car.

If that was the case, this Chinese New Year would turn out to be a very eventful one.

Blocking Jin Yan in a corner, Xia Ning looked at him with a half-smile. “Music King Jin, why is it so hard to get your girlfriend’s name out of your mouth? Or do you want to keep it from me?”

“Of course not!” Jin Yan smiled in resignation. “There’s nothing to tell, really.”

“If you have nothing to say about your girlfriend, why are you with her? Music King Jin, are you listening to yourself? You just don’t want me to know her.” Xia Ning smiled. “Forget it. I won’t ask you anymore. You’ll call me nosey.”

Xia Ning turned to leave and Jin Yan followed her in a hurry. “It’s nothing special. She’s just some girl I know from before.”

“Did you know her from the orphanage?” Xia Ning asked directly. “Or did you go to college together?”

“Yes, from the orphanage,” said Jin Yan.

Xia Ning’s eyes flickered, then turned to look at Jin Yan with an intrigued look in her eyes. “So, you grew up together in the orphanage.”

“Yes.” Jin Yan nodded.

Glancing at Jin Yan, Xia Ning chuckled. “Who would have guessed? Music King Jin would actually take advantage of his favorable position.”

“Alright, stop making fun of me.” Jin Yan rubbed Xia Ning’s head. “You’ll probably give me the cold shoulder if I still can’t find a girlfriend.”

“I’ll never be bold enough to do that. Who am I to say anything if you decided to stay single for the rest of your life? But are you going to go public now?” Xia Ning asked. Since he had revealed it in the post-credit scene, he was probably serious about it.

Looking at her, Jin Yan smiled. “I do have that plan. The post-credit scene was to see how she would react.”

“She didn’t want to?” Xia Ning looked at Jin Yan in surprise. She couldn’t believe that a woman wouldn’t want to reveal her relationship with someone like Jin Yan.

Jin Yan said, “Yes.” He then walked off.

Xia Ning followed him in a hurry and pressed. “But why?”

“She feared that it might affect her career,” replied Jin Yan.

“She’s in the showbiz, too?” Xia Ning’s eyes lit up.

Jin Yan turned his head in Xia Ning’s direction and there was a grim look on his handsome face. He nodded. “Yes.”
