Happy Diwali rabby and aloo....., abeer said and hugged his sister's to stopped them from turning.

As chandni heard Abeer's voice, she looks towards Abeer for a few seconds who's just looking at her then diverted her eyes from him and hurriedly hidded dupatta under the pillow.

Chandni take a deep breath while heard ahana and Aditi voice and diverted her attention towards them.

Bhai humhari hair style khrab ho jaayegi......., ahana said with pout and looking at his brother who's just hugged them tightly and looking at Chandni.

Bhai......Bhai .....kaha kho gaye......., aditi said looking at his brother face who is still looking at chandni.

Chandni looked at abeer who's just looking at her without blinking his eyes feeling his gaze chandni lowered her eyelashes and knowingly jingled her bangles.

Hearing tinkling sound of chandni's bangles abeer regains his composer and first he looked at chandni for second then his sister's who's  complaining him for ruining there hair style.

Abeer leaves both of them and then diverted his eyes and sighed.

Abeer cursed himself in his breath then again looked his sister's and the person who come back and again hided behind his sister's.

Kya hua Bhai aapki tabiyat thik nahi?........ , Aditi asks him in concern and before abeer could say anything they heard Adi's voice who's just come inside in Abeer's room.

Meri pyari behno......aapko pata nahi...... es umar mein tabiyat thik nahi rehti ........, adi said entering in Abeer's room and all four look at him in confusion.

What do you mean by ......IN THIS AGE ......., abeer said but last words with emphasis while shooting him a glare.

Bhai you're almost 26........buddhe hongye aap ....., adi said laughing on his own joke and falls on Abeer's bed because of laughing session while all three girls looked at them .

Abeer turned towards him and smirked.

I just remembered.....you know when you are a toddler i hung you upside down holding your leg.........I feel that maybe at that moment everything that was in your head just feel down..........that's why i guess you keep saying nonsense things..........., abeer said while crossing his hands in front of his chest and looking at his brother seriously and three girl looked at abeer in shock.

Bhai.........you..... you did this .......that too with your only brother ........... ,adi whined and sat comfortably on the bed while taking the pillow with him then cutely started calculating there age difference with his fingers.

When chandni saw that adi takes a pillow from the place where she hided the dupatta she gulped in fear in thought that if again he takes another pillow from that place then everyone will saw her dupatta.

Bhai .....apne 8 saal chote bhai ke sath aisa kon karta h ?......, adi said in complaining tone while looking at his brother.

Chandni looks towards Abeer in nervousness who's looking at his brother while fisting with her fingers and thought how to gain his attention.

Mein karta hu...... abeer Singh Rathore do this....., Abeer said raising his one eyebrow.

Aapne.......galt kiya h mere sath..........aap dekhye......, adi said while putting his index finger on his cheeks and started thinking how can he take revenge from his elder brother.

Hmm..........tell me what will you do........., Abeer said taking one step closer to bed.

Mein...... mein na aapke baby ke sath aisa hi karunga........, Adi said determination like he was already to take his revenge and shifts a little on the bed, seeing abeer coming closer to the bed.

And who said I'll let you touch my baby....... , Abeer said without knowing the word he uttered.

Seeing adi shifting on the bed towards that pillow chandni in nervousness knowingly jingled her bangles to gain his attention and successfully she got it.

When abeer heard tinkling sound of bangles he looked at her without gaining his siblings attention and saw she's already looking at him.

Chandni saw that Abeer was looking at her she blinked her eyes ,slowly and hidely she pointed at the dupatta she is wearing then the bed.

Then she immediately diverted her eyes from him and with her trembling hands she removed the hair strands that was coming on her face and tucked them behind her ear but when still feeling his gaze on herself she looked at him and find him still looking at her she again jingled her bangles then immediately lowered her eyelashes.

Abeer regained his consciousness and he understands what chandni indicated him Abeer looked at who's sitting sitting closer to that pillow and also how mischievous and playful his younger brother was and also that without touching something he will does not get satisfaction.

Abeer sighed and was about to say something else when he heard Adi's voice.

Bhai......., adi called him in sad tone and Abeer looked at him ,just nodded and girl's also looked at adi hearing his sad tone.

Abeer pov-

Bhai.... won't you let me touch my niece's and nephews ?........., adi asked looking at me and hearing this my eyes widened.

WHAT?........., the word escaped from my mouth as soon as I heard adi question and heard my sister's laugh.

Without knowing again i looked towards her who was standing behind my sisters and looking down but hearing ahana voice i diverted my eyes.

We don't even met our bhabhi ....she still still unknown .......and here you are talking about bhai children........, ahana said laughing at sat on the bed beside adi.

Our bhai is not married yet adi....... ye tu kaha nephews and nieces pe pahuch gaya ..........., aditi said laughing and sat on the other side of adi on the bed.

Only if they know......, i murmured in my breath and looked at them who's sitting on my bed.

These three started laughing without any reason like manic and led on my bed i first looked at my siblings and then at her.

At the same she looked at me and our eyes met for second i don't why but i don't want to break our eye contect but hearing my siblings laugh we looked at them who's laying on the bed and laughing then again at each other and at last she again lowered her eyelashes.

Why does she always look down? .........is the tiles of my house are that beautiful?.......and if it's like that, then I'm getting the tiles of this entire house changed.........,  i thought looking at her for second but diverted my attention to my siblings who are laughing like crazy people without any reason.

I think you guy's don't want any gifts on Diwali from anyone?......., i said and listening this all three went silent.

Bhai......., and all three whined loudly while making puppy eye's and went silent but i didn't pay attention to this.

Dramebaaz......

I went towards them and forwarded my both hands to them so that they can hold of it and sit down.

I first gives my hand to Adi and Ahana and then Aditi and all three of them sit comfortably on the bed.

Before i could say anything,i heard a knock on the door and everyone's attention went there.

sir mam is calling everyone for puja.........., that worker said and i nodded and she left after informing us.

Aap log jaaye....... I'll be there in few minutes........, i said because i knew if we were late, maa would going to be very angry.

And all three nodded and got up from the bed in a hurry and immediately started going towards the door .

And then i looked at Red who looked at me for a few seconds and then starts following all three but seeing them seeing them stop suddenly, she also stops.

Bhai......,all three said in same time and listening there voices i looked at them and nodded i saw they three looked at each other and smiled widely.

Happy Diwali........ bade bhaiya......., all three said loudly and runned to hug me and i smiled at them.

I put my arm around all three of them then patted there head lightly.

Happy Diwali kiddos........., i said and hugged them then looked at the person who's looking at us with smile on her face but she hided her smile feeling my gaze on herself.

I think when she felt my gaze on her she started looking here and there while fisting with her dupatta.

I don't know anything but......but i wanted her to join this group hug ...........

My thought was broken when I heard Aditi voice.

Chandni come here........for group hug .........., aditi said looking towards her and then spread my hand a little more perhaps making place for her then she smiled widely looking at me.

Did she heard me?........., i thought looking at aditi.

Adi himself comes out of the group hug and goes towards her and after holding her hand he comes towards us with her who's looking shocked she first looked at Adi then me.

Lag jaaye gale....... chandni di , adi said i looked at her who is still looking down and was probably about to say something when adi slightly pushed her towards me.

She trembled a little and to steady herself she placed one of her hand on my forearm to support herself.

She looked at me with her quivering eyelashes and parted lips she tried to move back seeing this i immediately put my hands around her to stop her.

I saw on one side of me was Adi ,ahana and on the other side was Aditi and she.

Feeling her so close to me, i closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

I don't know why my heart, whose only function is to pump blood, is suddenly start beating so fast whenever she comes close to me..............

But at that time i don't anything i just wanted to her to close to me and was about to tighten my grip on her when everyone broke the hug and she also quickly took a step back.

Bhai aap tayar hoker aa jaye........, ahana said and all three of my siblings started running out of the room and she too take one step.

Red ....... i whispered her name in my  breath but i think she heard me she stopped and looked at me.

When I saw that she had stopped, i took a step towards her seeing me coming closer she was about to turn when i held her bangles cladded wrist to stop her.

You are avoiding me.........i said whatever came out of my mouth at that time but regretted immediately.

I should not have said that perhaps she may not have remembered that she was avoiding me, but the great ME i remind her now again she going to do that.

She came here, it means maybe now she is not avoiding me, I should have asked something else.......

I thought and stand in front of her, still holding her hand.

Hmmmm.......are you alright......that wound.......is it still paining?......, i asked her but she didn't looked at me I saw she was still looking at the hand that i was holding.

at that same moment i heard the sound of footsteps coming towards my room and i think she also heard she looked in my eyes and tried to remove her hands from my grip.

Someone is coming......., she muttered this word's in whisper and again tried to remove her hands from my grip which i didn't want to leave.

I don't want remove my grip on her wrist in these two days i tried a thousand times to talk her but not get a chance but now when she is standing in front of me, so close to me....how can I ?......... i thought looking into her black eyes.

Please........,she whispered slowly and i removed my grip on her wrist and immediately take two three steps away from her when i felt someone entering in my room and i heard adi voice.

Chandni di......... you are still here ...., adi said and i saw listening to him she she became nervous and in nervousness she looked at me while fisting with her fingers.

Looking how nervous she was and adi who's looking both of us i just asked him question to divert his mind.

First tell me what are you doing here........, I asked him .

Woo bade bhaiya ..... my phone....., he said and pointed towards the bed where i saw the phone was lying there.

Hmmm....mein inse yehi keh raha tha......to give you this phone......., i said and take the phone from the bed and gave it to Adi.

Ooooo....., adi said and went to chandni and held her hand.

Chalein dii........, he said looking at her then dragged her with himself went out of my room.

I took a deep breath and sighed i took white kurta and went to the bathroom to change.

After some time, Abeer comes downstairs wearing a white kurta and goes to the puja room and sees that his all family members are present there and preparing for the morning puja.

After Abeer arrived, the puja started and after completing the puja everyone went for breakfast and after this they started doing their work for Diwali preparation for the night.

Abeer was have to some foreign meeting, he went to his room to attend them through video calls and other 's got busy in their work .

Chandni pov-

I and Ahana were making a beautiful rangoli infront of the mandir from a long time which has now been completed and while making rangoli, a little bit of colour fell on us and on  my lehenga which i was wearing.

Chandni .....this looks so beautiful ......, ahana said while smiling.

But our dresses...... , i said looking at our dresses.

We stood there carrying the plate which had colors in it and were looking at the rangoli from distance.

Then suddenly we heard a loud voice near ourselves of Aditi and Adi and we flinched hearing there loud voice.

I looked at them in shock but Ahana in shock and anger.

Abhi humari rangoli kharab ho jaati bandrao......., ahana said while glaring at them but they just smiled mischievously .

Seeing there mischievous smiles of them, I know that they will do something.

Before we both could react, they both took the color from the plates we are holding and smeared it on both of us and before we react are process a little, they both took flowers from don't know from where they showered flowers on us and then they both runned away.

Adi aditi........,ahana shouted looking at them who are running away.

We both looked at each other then them and holding the colour plate we just run behind them.

Hold on both of you ......., we both shouted at the same time while running.

Both of us followed them but when we saw that both of them were going in the opposite direction and i followed Adi and Ahana followed Aditi.

Adi wait.......believe me this time i will not leave you ......you always do this........, i said looking at him who's just standing while panting .

Dii... i will not do something again......i promise......., he said with puppy eye's and pouting.

Adi don't make those faces........i will not spare you this time........, i said and took the colour in my fist.

Aap inhe sambhale........., adi said and before i could react what he was saying he slightly pushed me and runned away.

i felt my back collided with someone ,i closed my eyes when smelled a musky scent in which i had found myself wrapped around that morning.

Its him.....

I opened my eyes in shock and my breath hitched when i felt his hand on my bare waist.

Breath........., he said near my ear and listening him i regained my consciousness and noticed that i have stopped breathing and my heart was beating very loudly in my chest.

I started taking deep breaths and felt him turning me towards himself.

He turned me towards himself and to maintain some distance between us, unknowingly i placed my hand on his chest in which i was holding the color some time ago but now saw that the colour had now got applied to his white kurta seeing this, i immediately retracted my hand.

Sor_ry............, i said looking at him and tried to get the colour out from there, but in order to remove i spreaded it more.

I am sorr_y.... sorr_y....i was ju_st tryi_ng to remov_e colour......i didn't do it on purpo_se ........, i said looking at him who's just looking at me without saying anything and without any expression on face seeing him looking at me i just lowered my eyelashes.

But it happened.......... and we have to settle this....... he said in serious tone while looking at me and removing the flowers that were stuck in my hair.

I saw that he took the colour from the plate and before i reacted to it he gently touched my right cheeks with his painted fingers while looking into my eyes.

I gasped feeling his touch on my cheeks and my lips parted and looked at him who again touched my left cheeks with his painted finger without breaking eye contact.

When I couldn't bear his intense gaze, I immediately lowered my eyes and could feel the warmth on my cheeks where he touched and fisted side of my lehnga.

Red........., he called me slowly while touched my tip of nose with his painted finger and feeling his touch i looked at him with quivered eyelashes and pounding heart.

He was about to say something when i heard the voices of Ahana and Aditi and i realized how close we are and his one hand is still on my waist.

I should not have come this close to him....., i thought and removed myself from his grip and without waiting that what he was going to say i looked at him for once and runned away from from him.

Chandni pov-

It was evening time when i freshened up and came from the bathroom to get ready.

(Chandni dress)

I wore a sky blue colored lehenga and with it the jewelery which Aditi had selected and left my hair open i didn't applied anything on my face, just moisturizer and khol in my eyes and when i was done, i looked at myself in the mirror and finally pinned the dupatta on both the side shoulders and hide my wedding chain.

These clothes are not to much for Diwali ?...... it's feel like i am going to someone's wedding or like it's my wedding...., i thought looking at myself in the mirror.

But when I looked at the watch i realized that i am late.

I quickly adjusted the dupatta and went to the downstairs in puja room i saw everyone present there except him.

Author -

When Abeer comes to the puja room, he sees everyone ready for the evening Diwali puja.

Abeer goes towards the elders and touches everyone's feet and then stands with the siblings where he saw chandni was also standing there with them.

When Chandni saw that Abeer is coming there, she slowly take a stand back and stands behind Ahana, Aditi and Adi.

Aarti was about to start and seeing this chandni is tried to hold the dupatta properly and put it on her head, but she was unable to do that with her one hand because in one hands she caring plate of flowers.

Seeing this, Abeer slowly took two steps back without anyone noticing and held the dupatta and put it around her head properly.

When Chandni feels that someone is placing a dupatta on her head, she turns back and finds Abeer.

But as soon as they hear the sound of Aarti, they both looked at other and move away from each other at some distance and turn their attention towards the aarti that is taking place.

After Aarti all youngster and elders were spend time together and after having fun, enjoying and burning the firecrackers, and dinner everyone went to their respective rooms.

Chandni pov-

When I came to my room and immediately go towards the vanity to get remove this earings first but saw the gift box above my vanity.

Ye kisne rakha yahan pe?........, i thought and picked up that gift box and opened it.

And i saw that there was a very beautiful pendant in it.

But after thinking i got to know that who would have placed this here without thinking anything, i went to give it to this respective owner.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and knocked on his door and heard the reply in deep voice.

Come in ........, he said and i went inside after closing the door slightly.

I went inside his room but did not find him and then i saw that the glass door was wide open.

He must be there......, i thought with slow steps i went that area and saw that he was sitting there on the swing looking realxed while still in white kurta with sleeves folded up to the elbow and looking at the sky.

I know he must have known from the jingling sounds of my bangles and anklets that i was here but didn't look at me.

I slowly went towards him and stood at a short distance i was about to say something when i heard his voice.

Author -

Chand khubsurat h naa ?..........., abeer asked looking at the moon and listening him Chandni also looked at the moon.

Bahot......., chandni said looking at the moon and as abeer heard Chandni's voice, he looks towards her.

yakeen bahot...., he murmured looking at her who is still looking at the moon.

Chandni heard Abeer's voice and looks towards Abeer their eyes meet but chandni immediately averts her gaze.

Ye...... ro_om mei.....this wa_s in roo_m......., chandni said while shuttering because of his intense gaze.

It's your Diwali present........., abeer said looking at her who is stumbling while speaking and listening this chandni looked at him.

I do_n't wa_nt it ........, chandni said slowly and put that box on the swing on which he was sitting and saying this, she was about to take a step forward when Abeer held Chandni's wrist.

Abeer did not say anything, he just  stood in front of Chandni.

Happy Diwali Red ...... it's our first Diwali together......., abeer said and gently put his hand on back of her head then kissed his forehead and let his lips remain on her forehead for some time while chandni tightly fisted his kurta in her fist feeling lips on her forehead.

Abeer then retreated a bit and looked at her face and saw tears falling from her eyes.

"Tum thehro

Aur es waqt ko jaane do"
