The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning
The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning By Max Charming chapter 360 Jadie thought, âIf it wasnât for me suddenly having my period that night and stained my skirt, I wouldnât have had the chance to call him and ask him to come over. And after that, he even carried me out of my classroom.â
She asked, âZach, are you free this weekend? How about we go on a date? You didnât spend time with me during Valentineâs Day.â
Zach answered, âGot it. Iâll check my schedule when the time comes and arrange it.â Jadie thought, âHe always says this.â
Jadie planned to watch a movie for Valentineâs Day before shopping for clothes with him. He said the same thing to her. But in the end, he did not go. He ended up working overtime at the company. Jadie said further, âHow about we go to the amusement park? Iâll wait for you on Friday after school.â
Zach responded with a sound. After lunch, Kevin came into the office to report on work. Zach had a meeting about half an hour later. Jadie did not want to disturb Zach. So, she left the company.
After Kevin left the office, Zach started checking a project proposal. He then accidentally touched the mouse on the desk. The computer screen lit up, and an audio file showed up.
Zachâs eyes turned gloomy when he looked at it. His gaze suddenly became cold as he hit the play button. A familiar voice could slowly be heard from the computer: [I miss youâ¦]
Zach had never heard these words and tone from her before. It was a phone conversation of Madelyn, which lasted for about five hours. When Zach listened to the conversation, he heard Ethanâs voice too.
He thought, âThey really got together!â
Zachâs mind was suddenly in turmoil. He felt like the person who had always belonged to him suddenly got snatched away. He was lost in his thoughts, âI must be crazy to have my mind filled with the thoughts of her! I canât make any more mistakes before itâs too late.â
In the library, with just half an hour left, Madelyn could no longer stand it. She grabbed her pen and put it inside her pencil case. The couple in front of her made her feel uncomfortable. Luckily, the library was not crowded today.
âForry, I donât understand this question. Can you teach me? She explained it too quickly just now. I didnât catch it,â Kayla said.
Madelyn put away her books, saying, Weâve covered everything weâre supposed to. Thereâs still half an hour left. You can spend the time doing the homework. Iâll leave you two alone.â She had already put her books inside her bag when she finished saying the last sentence.
Just as she was about to leave, Forrest took his girlfriendâs textbook over and pointed at a question, âHow do you solve this?â Madelyn frowned, âI only promised to tutor you.â
Forrest crossed his leg and shook it. He looked arrogant. He twisted his head and smiled provocatively, âWhatâs the matter? Are you jealous? Whatâs the difference for you to tutor one or two people? Besides, I donât know how to solve this problem too.â
âYou donât?â Madelyn stared at him seriously. She was clearly angry. She continued, âI just explained this question. And youâre telling me you donât know how to solve it? Did you even pay attention?â
Kayla lay on Forrestâs shoulder and discontentedly said, âWhy are you so fierce?! You didnât explain it well.â
Madelyn thought, âIâve wasted two and a half hours being their third wheel. Fine. I owe him this.â She then responded, âIâll explain to you two againâ¦â
