Chapter 64
The Love From Vengeance
64: IN THE SHOWER ARIELâS POV âWhat the heck!â I bawled at Luke. And that still didnât give him some sense. His eyes were still on me, and this was really crazy.
âGet out! Canât you see Iâm taking a shower?â I yelled at him.
âI can see that,â he uttered, with a deep tone and a smirk on his face. âBut youâre my wife. And come on, donât act like this is the first time Iâm seeing you naked.â
I couldnât help but glare at him. Was he under the influence of alcohol, or what?
âYou are sick in the head!â I snapped. âNow leave!â I was about to push him out of the bathroom, but he seized both of my hands.
Luke pushed me to the wall with the shower still turned on, soaking his shirt. He pressed both of my hands against the wall, staring into my eyes. And he did all this while I was naked.
His eyes went down to my breasts. I didnât know what he was thinking now, but it was definitely nasty.
Luke took his gaze downward, observing my whole body, and our eyes met. again.
âLet go of me,â I told him.
Luke chuckled. âI know you want me,â he said softly, moving his face closer to mine. âJust say the words, and you can have me all you want,â he whispered, nozzling my neck.
I thought this man and I used to have mutual feelings of hatred. So what in the world is this all about?
âLet go of me, and get the hell out of the shower.â I also vocalized in hushed tones.
âIâm not doing that,â he said softly, moving his finger down to my chest and halting in between my breasts. His touch sent waves of some feeling right inside me that I couldnât understand. And then I felt his tongue on my neck, slowly, and it was kind of shooting.
Luke gazed at me once again, gently brushing my hair. âWhy donât we do something naughty this morning? What do you say?â
âI say you leave me right now. I have work to do, and so do you.â
âWork can wait, Ariel; this is a lovely moment between a husband and wife.â
âNo, itâs not,â I told Luke, and kneeled his balls immediately. He bawled a little.
âWhat the hell is wrong with you?â He asked in pain, with his hands fixed around his groin.
âDonât you dare try this nonsense with me again!â I snarled, grabbed a towel, and left him in the shower.
Later in the day, I was at my office, going through different files and preparing for the upcoming meetings. And there were a lot of ongoing projects. So at the moment, my head was on fire. If Michael or Seth were here, they would help me out with this.
âMiss, you have a visitor,â one of my workers, informed me. I wondered who it was.
âTell that person to come in, please,â I told her, and she nodded before leaving the office.
The next person who entered was Mason. A huge smile filled his entire face, and I could just guess why he had come to pay me a visit.
âMrs Reynold!â Mason exclaimed, smiling broadly at me, as he stepped nigher. âYouâre looking really beautiful,â he added. But I knew he was telling me the complete opposite.
âOkay, Mason, thank you. But please, you do not have to keep on giving me false comments.â
âFalse comments?â He made a puzzled face. âYouâre the wife of Luke Reynold, so calling you Mrs.
Reynold is totally fine. Or was I lying when I said youâre really beautiful? Arenât you pretty?â
âThatâs not what I meant, okay? But you know what? Nevermind, letâs just forget about this.â
âYouâre right,â Luke said, snapping his fingers. He walked closer. âWe should forget about that and talk of something better. Something thatâs going to blow someoneâs mind.â
The way he spoke made it look like it was special. But I clearly knew what he was talking about. And Iâm sure you do too.
âI just got married to Luke, okay? And I have tons of projects to go through. So can we please shift this discussion to another time?â
Mason clapped his hands immediately. âSure! Anything you say, Mrs. Reynold.â
I arched an eyebrow at him. âThe nameâs Ariel.â
âAnd you are the wife of Luke Reynold,â Mason said immediately. âIâm just paying my respect around here.â.
I chuckled. âYeah, respect.â
â
âWell, your wish is my command. But I got to ask, when are the two of you going on your honeymoon?â
Mason grinned.
I exhaled deeply. âPlease, donât ask me that.â
âWhy not? The two of you are the latest couple in town.â
Rose burst into the office promptly.ââMiss, the directors of Oranos want to speak with you.â
âWell, tell them to come to my office,â I told her.
âOkay,â Rose responded, and she left. I smiled at Mason after that.
âOkay, Iâll be leaving then. Weâll continue with this conversation some other time,â he said, stepping to the door. I nodded, and he left.
LUKEâS POV The day had been a busy one, with different projects being carried out, meeting stuff, and all that. Itâs really been exhausting, and thatâs why I made my way to a coffee shop. I needed some time to just chill and relax and get some peace of mind.
But even in the relaxation, I was still stressing my brain, thinking about what happened between me and Ariel earlier this morning. I was only teasing her, but I knew I almost drove her nuts. She even had to kneel my balls, but I decided to let her go with that one.
4 I was still sitting comfortably, enjoying a nice, cool, refreshing drink, when someone approached me. It was Tiffany.
She crossed her arms, looking pretty in an orange mini dress, and the look she gave me was literally not a nice one.
âTiffany?â I uttered, still looking at her. I was never expecting this encounter.
âWell, well, well. Look who we have here: the goodâforânothing player, Luke Reynold.â
âPlease donât call me that,â I said, dropping my glass of wine on the table.
âWhy shouldnât I?â Tiffany quizzed.
âBecause Iâm not one,â I answered, almost inaudible, and I looked at her.
She laughed. âOh Luke, you have got to be the funniest man Iâve ever seen.â
âSay what now?â I raised an eyebrow.
âYou used me, you idiot. All you wanted was sex, and I was thinking you actually wanted to spend your life with me.â
âSorry about that, but itâs just a oneâtime thing. I was mad at my woman back then; thatâs whyâ¦.â
âYou went to get freaky with me?â She cut me off. âI thought you were a different man, Luke. But I guess I was wrong. Youâre no different from the others.â
âLook, I donât need any argument; thatâs the last thing I want right now. Iâm sorry if I made you develop feelings, or whatever, but as you can see, Iâm married now.â
âYou think I donât know that?â
âGood, so why are you still here then?â I smirked.
She groaned, glaring at me. âYouâre unbelievable.â
Tiffany walked away after that. I was even surprised that the conversation was short. For a moment, I thought she was going to create a scene, acting crazy like Harriet.
My phone started ringingâan unknown number right here. But I answered it anyway.
âLuke Reynold. Itâs a great thing to be talking to you again.â
The voice sounded familiar, but I couldnât recall who.
âUhmm, who is this?â I asked slowly.
âLetâs just say the person who exposed your girlfriend to you,â he replied.
