Chapter 88
The Love From Vengeance
88 THE HATE WITHIN LUKEâS POV Just when my aunt had stormed out of the room, I marched out as well, anger written all over my face.
My eyes were filled with intense rage, and I could just burn this woman to ashes, Phoenix shit.
Because she had taken things too far, forgetting who she truly was. Forgetting her place, lifting her shoulders, thinking she was a god, always creating a sense of irritation everywhere.
A venom catching your throat, killing you in the inside, ripping apart your liver, and ruining your intestines. Making your life dark, taking away the brightness, inserting the anger, killing you slowly.
A scorpion with intense poison, a snake in disguise. A harmful bee ready to sting bitterness, a snake fully prepared to spit its poison, ammonia that was going to make you insensible.
Family but not family. Human but not human. A heart within her, but no heart. It was all about evil for her, brimming with exhilarating pride. Her evilness spreading far and wide, devouring the weak within two seconds.
âWhat were you even doing at my house?!â I snapped. Aunt Mariam was walking right on the stairs, but she stopped, and turned around.
âI can see you donât want this fight to come to an end!â She snapped back, crossing her arms.
âI have better things to do than fight with a venomous serpent like you!â I gave her a look of disgust.
âThen why ask me this silly question?â
âBecause I wanted to know who the hell gave you the nerve to do this nonsense!â
âItâs your worthless mother. Oh sorry, sheâs dead,â she taunted, forming a mocking smile.
Her words caused my anger to increase the more. âHave some respect!â
âWhy should I? Itâs not like you even give me the respect that I deserve.â
âBecause you donât deserve one!â
âThen what makes you think your mother deserve one as well?â
âSheâs in the grave for crying out loud. Why do you have to keep insulting THE STATE WITHIN someone thatâs already dead?â
âBe dead or alive, thatâs none of my business. I will curse who I want to, and nothingâs going to stop me. No one dare try to seal my lips,â she spoke pure nonsense.
âI see. I just hope you die any time soon. So people can start cursing your dead ass in the goddamn grave!â
She wanted to slap me, but I quickly seized her hand. We both glared at each other, and I thrust her hand far from me.
âWhy are you getting so angry, now? Itâs just a wish. Like they say; not all wishes come true.â I wore a corrosive smile. âBut donât start feeling too happy. Youâre going to die before you know it. And Iâm a hundred percent sure devil has prepared a special place for you in hell.â
âYou worthless fool! You have to be the most irritating creature Iâve ever seen.â
I chuckled. âLook at whoâs talking.â
âYou want to know the reason why I came here, right? Iâll tell you.â
âI donât think I care anymore,â I faked a smile.
âIâll tell you anyway,â she said after glaring at me for moments. âI heard youâve been broken ever since Riley died. I just came to see how broken you were.â
âAnd then you had to play with yourself,â I let out a mocking laugh. âHow nice is that?â
âSilence!â She snapped. âI think you itâs high time you start knowing your place in our family. You are nothing compared to me. I came to this earth before you. Iâve seen the things you havenât seen.â
âIs that something to be proud of?â I arched an eyebrow. âYou might be older than me. And you might have seen some goddamn things that I havenât seen. I literally donât care about that. But guess what, I made money that you couldnât make. To the point that you even came to lodge in my house.â
âAnd you must be feeling so high of yourself.â
I exhaled deeply. âWell, not actually. Iâm just bringing out facts. Since you were trying to act like you own the world.â
Aunt Mariam shook her head slowly, still glaring at me. âI canât believe that you can be this irritating,â
she spoke bitterly.
âAnd I canât believe that youâre this disgusting,â I scanned her whole body, a disgusting look directed to her. âI think itâs better you leave this place. And I AR THE RATE WITHIN donât want to ever see your face again.â
âYou think I want to see yours as well?â She retorted.
I turned my face away. âI love the mutual feeling. You can get the hell out now.â
âI will, but I need to go and change first,â she told me, and started walking upstairs, but I seized her hand immediately.
âYou are not going anywhere,â I told her bitterly, and dragged her to my âAre you crazy? Do you want me to go out like this?â
front.
âI donât see anything wrong with that.â I forcefully let go of her hand. âFools are supposed to be treated like one.â
âIâm always baffled with the way you keep insulting me. Like, donât you even have manners?â
âIâm only trying to be like you. But I can never like you. Because you are so bitter, and cruel, and heartless. All you care about is money.â
âIf I were so bitter, do you think your parents would have gotten married?â She revealed, almost underneath her breath.
I became speechless for a moment. âWhat did you just say?â
âOh, how were you supposed to know? You were still in your motherâs belly at that time.â
I couldnât help but get curious in this. âWhat did you do?â
âI donât have to spill all the beans.â
âThen you donât have to be in this house as well,â I told her, capturing her hand. And then I dragged her out of the house.
âLet go of me!â She struggled to get my hand off hers, but I held her so tight, that nothing could separate us at the moment, not even an explosion. Nor a razor- edged knife, or the force of a lightning.
Even a hurricane wouldnât be a match.
Still having a hold of her, I continued to stir forward, moved by anger. A rage thatâs forceful like a whirlwind. And if care was not taken, I could slam her goddamn head to the ground, and let the blood splash, left to be consumed by fleas, and her body, devoured by vultures.
As we approached the gate, I let go of her. Marcus did nothing but watch the both of us.
I turned to him. âYou see this woman right here? Donât ever let her step foot into this place. I donât care what you have to do. If she act stubborn, you act stubborn SE THEMATE WITHIN as well. If I find out she marched into my house, Iâll have no option but to fire you. Is that understood?â
âYes Sir.â Marcus nodded.
âFools,â Mariam uttered lowly, but I could hear her clearly. And then I shot her a threatening glare.
âStop staring at me like that you idiot! I need to get these clothes on,â she spat. âYou can get them on somewhere else.â I grabbed her hand, and haled her out. Standing outside the gate were Ariel, and that woman, whose name was Elizabeth.
