(Ruhaaksh)
Rudraksh sat quietly beside Ruhanika, his eyes filled with concern as he watched her sleep. She looked so peaceful, yet he couldnât shake the worry in his heart, knowing how sensitive and fragile she could be. Akshavi had dressed her in a simple lavender night suit, an oversized T-shirt paired with lavender and white checkered pajama pants, adding to her delicate appearance. Gently, Rudraksh stroked her hair, his touch as tender as his feelings for her. Leaning down, he pressed a soft kiss on her forehead. The gesture made her stir slightly, her lashes fluttering as she gradually opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was Rudrakshâs face, his expression calm yet laced with worry. She instinctively held her head and shut her eyes tightly, letting out a faint groan. Rudraksh immediately understoodâshe was battling a headache. Without wasting a moment, he helped her sit up, pulling her into his comforting embrace. One arm wrapped protectively around her, while the other began to gently massage her head, his fingers moving in soothing circles. Ruhanika clung to his shirt, her small fist gripping the fabric as if it was her lifeline, and buried her face in his chest. Rudrakshâs presence was her solace, and his gentle care made her feel safe, even in her discomfort.
Rudraksh: "Sab thik hai Ruhh"
(everything is okay, Ruhh)
Ruhanika: "Hum sach keh rahe hai, hum nahi maarna chahte the unhe, hum jante hai ye buri baat hai."
(Iâm telling the truth; I didnât want to hurt them. I know itâs wrong to do so.)
Rudraksh: "Koi baat nahi betu, tumhari galti nahi hai."
(Itâs okay, dear, itâs not your fault.)
Ruhanika: "Aap gussa nahi hai na humse??"
(Youâre not angry with me, right?)
Ruhanika looked up at him with her soft, curious eyes, and Rudraksh gently caressed her cheeks with his thumb.
Rudraksh: "Tumse gussa ho sakta hu kya main kabhi??."
(Can I ever be angry with you?)
Ruhanika shook her head gently, her hair brushing against his hand, and without saying a word, she nestled her head back onto his chest. Rudraksh wrapped his arms around her protectively, pulling her closer. He rested his chin lightly on her head, feeling the steady rhythm of her breathing.
Rudraksh: "toh phir ye sawaal kyu?? Kon keh raha hai tumhe ye sab sochne??"
(Then why are you asking such questions? Whoâs making you think like this?)
Ruhanika: "Kya college Jane par aisa hi hota hai?? Kya aisa roz hoga?? Agar haa toh hume nahi...."
(Is this what college life is like? Does this happen every day? If yes, then I donât want to...)
Rudraksh didn't let her finish her sentence, gently placing his finger on her trembling lips. A lone tear escaped her eyes, and seeing it, Rudraksh shut his eyes tightly in frustration, his jaw clenching. He had anticipated this moment, dreading the impact it might have on her confidence. This was the very thing he feared, and now that it had happened, he couldnât bear to see her breaking. Without saying a word, he helped her sit properly on the bed, ensuring she was comfortable. Then, he cupped her face tenderly, his thumbs brushing away the tear trails on her cheeks. Her hands instinctively found his, clutching them as if anchoring herself. Rudraksh's eyes softened, his expression filled with a mixture of love, concern, and determination.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, I promise aisa dobara kabhi nahi hoga, aur tumne jo kiya thik kiya hai."
(Ruhh, I promise this wonât happen again. And what you did was right.)
Ruhanika stayed silent, her arms wrapping tightly around him once more as she buried her face in his chest. Rudraksh sighed softly, sensing her need for comfort without words. He gently rubbed her back in soothing circles, his touch filled with reassurance.
Ruhanika: "Hum kuch batana chahte hai aapko."
(I want to tell you something.)
Rudraksh: "Bolo."
(Go ahead.)
Rudraksh held her closely, his embrace firm and protective as she tightened her arms around his torso.
Ruhanika: "vo humne na sabko toh maara tha, par na do bhaiya the, Vo bhaiya keh rahe the, ki hum bahaut mast hai, phir dusre ne kaha what's the rush sweetheart, let's spend some time together."
(So, I did hit all of them, but there were two boys... They said I was amazing. Then the other one said, "Whatâs the rush, sweetheart? Letâs spend some time together.")
Rudraksh's jaw tightened, and his anger surged, a storm brewing in his veins as his eyes darkened with anger. He tried to mask it for Ruhanika's sake, not wanting her to see the depth of his fury, but the intensity was too much to hide. His emotions were raw, and it was evident in the way his muscles tensed and his gaze became possessive. Ruhanika noticed the shift in his demeanor, sensing the storm inside him. She understood what he was feeling, and as a way to calm him, she gently rubbed her hand over his chest, offering a small act of comfort. But it wasn't enough. She could feel the weight of her own emotions pressing down on her, and she needed to share them, to let him understand the turmoil she was going through. With a deep breath, Ruhanika continued, her voice soft but steady.
Ruhanika: "Hume unki baat pasand nahi aayi, phir unhone humare kapde bhi kheeche the, isiliye humne un dono ko zayada maara, unke sar pe chot girne se nhi lagi thi, humne hi unka sar deewar pe de mara tha."
(I didnât like what they said, and then they even pulled at my clothes. Thatâs why I hit those two the most. They didnât get injured by falling accidentally; I deliberately smashed their heads against the wall.)
Rudrakshâs heart swelled with pride as he held Ruhanika close, feeling an overwhelming sense of love and admiration for her. He couldnât help but smile as he kissed the top of her head.
Rudraksh: "I'm proud of you Ruhh, bilkul thik kiya hai tumne, aage bhi agar koi aisi batameezi kare toh yahi karna uske sath."
(Iâm proud of you, Ruhh. You did exactly the right thing. And if anyone misbehaves like this again, do the same to them.)
Ruhanika: "Par maar peet karna buri baat hoti hai na. College ke authorities humse naraz ho jayenge na??"
(But isnât it bad to hurt others? Wonât the college authorities get mad at me?)
Rudraksh: "Tumhe maine kaha tha na ki koi bura kare toh uske sath vaisa hi karo??"
(Didnât I tell you to treat people the way they treat you?)
She nodded.
Rudraksh: "Bas phir yahi karna, aage jo hoga main sambhal lunga."
(Then do that. Iâll handle everything else.)
Ruhanika nodded but remained nestled against his chest, clinging to him like she never wanted to let go. He could sense the weight of whatever was troubling her, and he knew she found comfort in his presence. Rudraksh continued to massage her head gently, feeling her warmth and the softness of her hair between his fingers.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, itna mat socho betu, duniya bhari padi hai aise logo se, ab is wajah se hum zindagi jeena toh nahi chod sakte na??"
(Ruhh, donât overthink, betu. The world is full of people like them, but that doesnât mean we stop living our lives, right?)
Ruhanika: "Agar vo log dobara aaye toh?? Hum dobara vo sab kaise karenge?? Itni mushkil se aaj humne himmat ki thi aap jante hai."
(What if they come back? How will I deal with it again? You know how hard it was for me to gather the courage today.)
Rudraksh: "Nahi aayenge, bharosa Karo mujhpe, aur meri Ruhh bahaut himmat wali hai, yakeen hai mujhe."
(They wonât come back. Trust me. And I know my Ruhh is brave; I believe in you.)
Ruhanika: "aap par bharosa toh hum vaise hi karte hai."
(I already trust you completely.)
Ruhanika smiled softly at Rudraksh, her eyes reflecting a sense of calm, and he returned the smile with warmth. They sat together, wrapped in each other's embrace, the peaceful silence between them comforting. Rudraksh felt a deep sense of pride in his heart as he looked at her. He was glad that despite the challenges, his Ruhh wasn't weak enough to let those things affect her confidence. She was just a bit nervous, and he had done his part to help her find peace in that moment. But his thoughts began to shift. Now, his mind was consumed with ways to ensure those seniors who had caused her distress would face the consequences of their actions.
Suddenly, Rishwik barged into the room, only to freeze when he saw Rudraksh and Ruhanika sitting closely together. His eyes widened in surprise, and without a momentâs hesitation, he quickly spun around, hastily closing his eyes as if to avoid intruding. Rudraksh, clearly annoyed, shot him a sharp glare, his expression hardening at the unexpected interruption. He was dressed casually in his black full-sleeve t-shirt and black-and-white checkered pajama, clearly unwinding for the night.
Rudraksh: "Knock karke nahi aa sakta?"
(Canât you knock before entering?)
Rishwik: "Lock karke ye sab karyakram nahi kar sakte??"
(Canât you lock the door before having these kind moments?)
Rudraksh: "Laat khayega aaj, sudhar Jaa."
(Youâre going to get kicked today; behave yourself.)
Rishwik turned towards Ruhanika and Rudraksh after their settling down, his gaze focused on Ruhanika. Without missing a beat, he walked directly towards her side.
Rishwik: "Bhai control yaar, Angel choti hai abhi"
(Control, bro. Angel is still a kid.)
Rudraksh: "Sudhar ja beta, main sudharne pe aaya toh achcha nahi hoga."
(You better behave, or it wonât end well.)
Rishwik rolled his eyes at Rudraksh, who was glaring at him with evident disapproval. Without paying any attention to his elder brother's stare, Rishwik confidently ignored him. In one smooth motion, he lifted Ruhanika into his arms, a playful grin tugging at his lips as he looked down at her.
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai?"
Rishwik: "Chalo Angel, niche apna aaj special program hai"
(Letâs go, Angel. Thereâs a special program waiting for us downstairs.)
Ruhanika's eyes sparkled with excitement as she looked at Rishwik, who gave her a subtle nod. Rudraksh, however, was left confused by the exchange between the two. His eyebrows furrowed as he stepped down from the bed, his gaze shifting between them, trying to make sense of the situation. Rishwik, with his usual mischievous grin, seemed completely at ease, while Ruhanikaâs expression reflected her amusement. Rudraksh couldnât help but wonder what was going on.
Rudraksh: "Kya program??"
( What program?)
Rishwik: "Vo aap nahi samjhoge, hai na Angel??"
(You wonât understand. Right, Angel?)
Ruhanika giggled and nodded enthusiastically, clearly amused by the situation. Rudraksh shot a glare at both of them, hoping to put an end to their playful behavior, but instead, both Rishwik and Ruhanika just rolled their eyes and continued to giggle, unfazed by his attempts. In an effort to appear more intimidating, Rudraksh placed his hand firmly on his waist, adopting a posture that usually commanded respect. However, much to his frustration, neither of them seemed affected in the slightest.
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai hum chal sakte hai"
(Rishi Bhai, I can walk)
Rudraksh: "Shut up Ruhh, chot lagi hai"
(Shut up, Ruhh; youâre injured.)
Rishwik: "Shut up Angel, chot lagi hai"
(Shut up, Angel; youâre injured.)
Both Rudraksh and Rishwik spoke in unison, their voices filled with concern and protectiveness. Ruhanika, however, couldn't help but shake her head with a fond smile. She had long gotten used to their overprotective behavior and the way they both always seemed to think she needed extra care.
Rishwik: "Chalo chalte hai."
(Letâs go.)
Rishwik was about to step towards the door when Ruhanika suddenly called out, stopping him in his tracks.
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai ek minute."
(Rishi Bhai, one minute.)
Rishwik stopped as Ruhanikaâs gaze shifted to Rudraksh.
Ruhanika: "Akshh, aaj ka snap nahi bheja hai aapne, agar humari streak tuti toh hum aapne thode se naraz ho jayenge."
(Akshh, you didnât send todayâs snap. If my streak breaks, Iâll be a little upset with you.)
Rishwik couldn't help but laugh at the playful yet stern tone in Ruhanika's voice. Rudraksh, on the other hand, calmly took out his phone, a little amused by the exchange between the two.
Rudraksh: "Bhej raha hu maate, is tarah dhamki toh mat dijiye."
(Sending it right now, maâam. Please donât threaten me like this.)
Ruhanika: "Very Good putra."
(Son)
The three of them chuckled, and Rishwik gently took Ruhanika down.Rudraksh sighed in relief, watching them with a smile, though his mind was still racing, trying to figure out how to lift Ruhanika's spirits.
Rudraksh: "Aaj ek tarah se tumne apne darr pe jeet hasil ki hai Ruhh, bas kuch waqt aur, phir tum khud apni ladayi lad sakti hu."
(Today, in a way, youâve conquered your fears, Ruhh. Just a little more time, and youâll be able to fight your battles on your own.)
Rudraksh, with a proud smile still on his face, moved toward the closet to change. After a while, he emerged downstairs in comfortable black sweatpants and a loose cream t-shirt, ready to unwind. As he stepped into the living room, the scene in front of him was nothing newâit had become a recurring sight over the past few days. But despite the familiarity, a sense of worry tugged at him. He couldnât shake off the feeling of concern that always arose when he saw the situation unfolding, even if it was something he had witnessed before.
It was a typical lively scene at RM Mansion, with the whole group gathered for a fun evening. Rishwik and Ruhanika stood confidently on the center table, their energy contagious, as they laughed and enjoyed the moment. Savisha was comfortably settled on the couch, her demeanor relaxed, with Ashvik sitting beside her. Akshavi and Karanjeet, standing on the floor, added to the lively atmosphere, both of them also ready to join in the fun. The upbeat tune of "Chikni Chameli" echoed through the room, setting the stage for an impromptu dance session.
Akshavi, Karanjeet, Rishwik, and Ruhanika were all letting loose, dancing energetically to the rhythm of the song, their feet moving in sync with the music. Amandeep, dressed casually in his green T-shirt and green-black checkered pajama, stood a little further back, holding his phone and recording the entire performance, a smirk on his face as he captured the playful chaos unfolding in front of him.
Ashvik and Akshavi, twinning in matching grey T-shirts and checkered pajama sets, looked like the perfect pair. Karanjeet, also dressed comfortably in a pajama set, was fully engaged in the fun. Savisha, wearing a cozy white shirt and pajama night suit, sat beside Ashvik, watching the lively spectacle with a soft smile, clearly enjoying the carefree atmosphere around her. The entire group was a mix of casual comfort, playful energy, and shared moments of joy, making it a perfect evening for everyone.
Rudraksh was about to move towards them when Kartavya suddenly held his hand. Confused, Rudraksh turned around to face him. Kartavya stood there, dressed in a black shirt and pajama, mirroring Savisha's attire.
Rudraksh: "Bhaii?"
Kartavya: "Jaane de na, khush hai vo ab."
(Let it go. Sheâs happy now.)
Rudraksh: "Aur khushi me hosh hi nahi ki chod aayi hai, aur Rishi ki toh.."
(And in her happiness, she doesnât realize sheâs injured. And Rishi is...)
Kartavya: "Yaad hai tu keh raha tha ki bhai mera phool andar se kitna murjhaya hai, main use kaise vapas khilau???"
(Remember, you used to say, âBhai, my flower has wilted so much inside; how do I make it bloom again?â)
Rudraksh furrowed his brows in confusion as he looked at Kartavya, who only responded with a calm smile.
Kartavya: "Dekh, akhir tune apne is phool khila hi diya, dekh kaise ab khush rehti hai, darti nahi hai apne man ki karti hai."
(Look, youâve finally made your flower bloom. See how happy she is now. Sheâs fearless and does what she wants.)
Rudrakshâs gaze softened as he watched Ruhanika dance with Rishwik, her laughter filling the air as Rishwik twirled her around. A warm smile spread across his face, his heart swelling with affection for her. Seeing her so carefree and happy made everything else fade into the background.
Rudraksh: "Haa bhai, khil gaya mera nanha sa phool."
(Yes, bhai, my little flower has blossomed.)
Kartavya: "Pit jayega usne sun liya toh, height pe comment."
(Youâre going to get beaten if she hears thisâcommenting on her height!)
Both Rudraksh and Kartavya chuckled as they walked toward Ruhanika and Rishwik.
Jungle mein aaj mungle karungi
Bhooke shero se khelungi mein
Makhan jaisi hateli pe
jalte angare le lungi mein
Haye, gehre paani ki machli hoon raja
Ghat, ghat, dariya mein ghumi hoon mein
Teri nazron ki lehro se
harke aaj doobi hoon mein
Rishwik and Ruhanika playfully rubbed their hands together, bending toward each other with exaggerated, goofy expressions. They then moved back, shaking their shoulders and dancing in an overly dramatic, yet hilarious manner. Nearby, Akshavi twirled Karanjeet, and both of them burst into giggles, their carefree laughter filling the air. The playful energy intensified as all four of them held their noses, swaying their bodies downward as if they were pretending to drown in the most exaggerated way possible.
Oye, jaanleva jalwa hai
Dekhne mein halwa hai
Jaanleva jalwa hai
Dekhne mein halwa hai
Pyaar se paros dungi dhund le zara
Yeh toh trailer hai,
puri fillum dikhane aayi
Husn ke tili se
Beedi, chilam jalane aayi
Aayi chikni chameli
Chupke akeli
Pauha chadhake aayi
The playful energy continued to build as all four of them dramatically moved their hands over their bodies, as if savoring the taste of some sweet halwa. Their exaggerated expressions and movements added to the comedy, making everyone laugh even harder. Afterward, they each framed their faces with their hands, holding their poses like they were in a picture frame, before moving back and forth in synchrony. The fun didnât stop thereâsoon enough, they transitioned into the iconic hook step of "Chini Chameli," their bodies swaying and hands snapping in perfect rhythm, adding a playful twist to the already lively atmosphere.
Aayi chikni chameli
Chupke akeli
Pauha chadhake aayi
Aayi chikni chameli
Chupke akeli
Pauha chadhake aayi
Savisha couldnât help but burst into laughter as she watched their dramatic dance moves, clearly amused by the fun and silliness unfolding in front of her. Ashvik shook his head with a fond smile, clearly entertained by the antics of his friends but also enjoying the carefree moment. Meanwhile, Akshavi, full of mischief, reached over and pulled Karanjeetâs cheeks, making him gasp in shock. Akshavi giggled at his reaction, clearly enjoying her playful moment. As the dance continued, she couldnât resist joining in, hopping onto the center table with Rishwik and Ruhanika. The three of them moved their bodies in perfect unison, their laughter and energy contagious. Kartavya, sitting beside Savisha, wrapped his arm around her in a side hug, both of them chuckling at the lively scene before them.
Rudraksh walked over and, without a word, lifted Ruhanika, halting their dance mid-step. The sudden interruption caught everyone off guard, and Ashvik quickly turned off the music. Amandeep, sitting nearby, smirked as he watched the unfolding scene, a glint of satisfaction in his eyes as he thought about his next moves. Rudraksh gently placed Ruhanika on the couch, making sure she was comfortable. However, Ruhanika shot him a fierce glare, clearly not pleased by the disruption. She crossed her arms, giving him a pointed look that spoke volumes about her frustration.
Rudraksh: "What??"
Ruhanika: "Ye kya kiya aapne, hum abhi pauha chadake aayi karne wale the na."
(What did you do? We were about to perform the drunken step)
Rudraksh: "Shut upp Ruhh."
Ruhanika: "Hume aur Nritya karna hai, Rishi bhaiiiiiii"
(I want to dance more, Rishi Bhaiiii!)
Ruhanika let out a playful whine as Rudraksh flicked her nose gently, making her scrunch her face in mock annoyance. She rubbed the spot where he flicked her, pouting slightly.
Rudraksh: "Ekdum chup ab."
(Be quiet now.)
Rishwik: "Humari Khushi dekhi nahi gayi na aapse bhai."
(You just couldnât tolerate our happiness, could you, Bhai?)
Karanjeet: "Jalta hai hum sabse, ise aata nahi na ye wala dance."
(Heâs jealous of all of us because he canât do this dance.)
Rishwik and Karanjeet settled down on another couch. Meanwhile, Akshavi made herself comfortable beside Ashvik, resting her head gently on his shoulder. Ashvik, noticing her closeness, held her hand tenderly and began to caress it.
Ruhanika: "Nahi Dadu aap inhe aise mat kahiye, ye aise nahi hai."
(No, Grandpa, please donât say such things about him. Heâs not like that.)
Karanjeet facepalmed himself. The others couldn't help but chuckle at the scene, amused by the lighthearted banter. Rudraksh, on the other hand, wore a smirk, clearly enjoying the playful moment.
Karanjeet: "Main kyu bhool jaata hu is ladki ka obsession."
(I always forget about this girlâs obsession.)
Ruhanika grinned mischievously as Rudraksh sat beside her. However, she quickly turned towards him, folding her legs neatly on the couch and placing her hand firmly on her waist. Her gaze was sharp and full of attitude as she glared at him, clearly still upset by the earlier interruption. Rudraksh, sensing her defiance, couldn't help but smile slightly.
Rudraksh: "Youâre not intimidating at all, betu."
Ruhanika: "Hum thode se naraz hai aapse."
(Iâm a little upset with you.)
Rudraksh: "Areh baba I'm sorry, but Ruhh chot lagi thi na tumhe, ye sab baad me karna abhi chup chap khana kha ke so Jana."
(Oh, sweetheart, Iâm sorry. But Ruhh, you got hurt, didnât you? Weâll do this later. For now, eat your food and go to sleep.)
Ruhanika: "Hum bilkul thik hai, aur ab hume nind nahi aayegi"
(Iâm perfectly fine, and now I wonât be able to sleep.)
Rudraksh: "Thik hai phir hum apni wali activities karenge."
(Fine, then weâll do our kind of activities.)
Ruhanika's eyes sparkled with a mix of excitement and shyness, and she quickly lowered her head, feeling a soft blush creeping up her cheeks. Rudraksh, noticing her reaction, smiled with satisfaction, knowing that he had successfully distracted her and lightened her mood. As Ruhanika glanced around the room, she took in the playful dynamics of her family. Kartavya and Savisha were deep in conversation, with Kartavyaâs hand gently resting on Savishaâs growing belly, the two of them sharing quiet, intimate words. Meanwhile, Akshavi and Ashvik were playfully teasing each other, Akshaviâs leg resting on Ashvikâs lap as they exchanged lighthearted banter. In the corner, Amandeep, Karanjeet, and Rishwik were engrossed in a game of Ludo on their phones. However, the game was filled with laughter and lighthearted annoyance, as both Amandeep and Rishwik were being scolded by Karanjeet for not playing properly.
Rishwik: "Yaar Dadu, ye phone me hai, isme thodi cheating hogi."
(Grandpa, itâs a phone game. There won't be any cheating involved.)
Amandeep: "Khud ki coin cut gayi toh hume blame mat kijiye, aapko khelne aata hi nahi hai dadu."
(If you lose your coins, donât blame us, okay? You donât even know how to play, Dadu.)
Karanjeet: "Ek ek Chittar padega na sab khelne aa jayega. "
(One slap, and you both will know how to play.)
Karanjeet gave a light slap on both of their cheeks, making them both momentarily pause. They turned to glare at him in unison, but Karanjeet just smirked, unbothered by their looks. His carefree attitude only seemed to fuel their irritation.
Rudraksh: "Koi nahi dekh raha hai, chale kamre me??"
(No oneâs watching. Shall we go to the room?)
Ruhanika: "Chup kariye aap, hum dekh rahe hai aaj kal aap thode besharam se ho gaye hai, bina soche samjhe hume kiss karte hai yaha bhi aur vaha bhi."
(Keep quiet! Iâve noticed that youâve become shameless lately. Kissing me here and there without a second thought!)
She said in a stern voice, but her blushing pink cheeks and shy smile with her lowered head betrayed her words. Rudraksh held her hand gently and pulled her closer, his touch reassuring as he looked into her eyes. Her heart raced, but she couldn't help the warmth that spread through her at his gesture, making her feel both shy and cherished.
Rudraksh: "Kaha kaha kya karta hu Ruhh??"
(Where and what did I do?)
Ruhanika didnât dare to look at him, knowing he was teasing her. The warmth of his closeness was her weakness, and she could feel her heart racing uncontrollably.
Ruhanika: "Abhi keh rahe the hume chot lagi hai, aur ab hume sata rahe hai, galat baat hai na ye toh."
(You were just saying Iâm hurt, and now youâre teasing me. Isnât that unfair?)
Rudraksh leaned near her ear, his warm breath brushing against her skin, and whispered softly.
Rudraksh: "Kal subah closet me jo harkat ki, vo galat nahi tha??"
(And what about what you did in the closet yesterday morning? Was that fair?)
Ruhanika: "Ab aap hume kaali shirt me manmohak lage toh humne dikha diya humara prem kya galat hai isme??"
(If I find you irresistible in a black shirt and express my love, whatâs wrong with that?)
Rudraksh: "Iâll do the same, and I know you want it too."
Ruhanika's face turned a deep shade of red as she gently pushed Rudraksh, trying to hide her flustered expression. Her heart raced, and she avoided making eye contact with him, knowing he would tease her even more.
Ruhanika: "Mat sataiye na, hum laal ho rahe hai aur aapko na jaane kya mazaa aa raha hai."
(Donât tease me! Iâm blushing, and you seem to be enjoying it way too much.)
Rudraksh chuckled, thoroughly enjoying the sight of Ruhanikaâs flushed face and cute words. He couldnât resist the urge to pull her cheeks gently, teasing her even more.
Rudraksh: "Chalo khana khate hai."
(Letâs eat now.)
Ruhanika: "Vo hume bhook nah.."
(Iâm not hungr...)
Rudraksh glared at Ruhanika, his eyebrows raised in mock seriousness, as if challenging her to continue.
Ruhanika: "haiii, hume bahaut bhook lagi hai, chaliye aaiye hume khilaiye."
(Oh wait, Iâm very hungry now. Letâs go, feed me.)
Rudraksh: "Better."
Ruhanika: "Bhaiyu bhabhi, bhai sa bhabhi sa, Rishi Bhai, Aman bhaiya, Dadu chaliye khana khane."
(Bhaiyu, Bhabhi, Bhai sa, Bhabhi sa, Rishi Bhai, Aman Bhaiya, Grandpa, letâs all eat.)
Rishwik: "Ek minute, Kriti di kaha hai??"
(Wait a minute, whereâs Kriti Di?)
Kartavya: "Kittu, dinner karke aayegi Aakarsh ke sath."
(Kittu will eat dinner with Aakarsh.)
Everyone smiled warmly, their hearts filled with joy for Kritika and Aakarsh. It was clear to them all that the love and care Aakarsh had for her were genuine, and Kritika, too, radiated happiness whenever she was around him. Their connection was undeniable, and it was evident that they had found something special in each other.
Ashvik: "Chal chuhiii, itna dance kiya ab bhuk lagi hogi na"
(Come on, Chuhi, you must be hungry after all that dancing.)
Ashvik playfully dragged Ruhanika towards the dining table, and soon, everyone gathered around, taking their seats at the table. Ruhanika settled down, folding her legs comfortably, while Rudraksh served food on a single plate. The shared plate was their unique way of showing love, a simple yet profound gesture that spoke volumes about their connection.
As Rudraksh lovingly fed Ruhanika, sharing bites between them, she seemed lost in her own thoughts, her eyes distant. Noticing the faraway look in her eyes, Rudrakshâs expression shifted to concern. He could tell that her mind was preoccupied, likely with thoughts about the recent college event that had caused her some unease. Seeing her like this, he knew he had to do something to pull her back into the present moment and distract her from her worries.
Ruhanika: "Aksh hum kya soch rahe the."
(Aksh, what I was thinking is...)
Rudraksh: "Hume kaise pata hoga Mallika-e-Aksh."
(How would I know, Your Majesty?)
Ruhanika: "Offo, hum bahaut zaruri baat keh rahe hai."
(Oh, come on! Iâm saying something important.)
Rudraksh: "Achcha bolo."
(Alright, tell me.)
The room grew quiet, and all eyes turned toward the Ruhanika, sensing that something important was about to be revealed.
Ruhanika: "Vo hum soch rahe the, ki jaise bhaiyu hume chuhi kehte hai, toh us tarah toh bhaiyu bhi Chuha huye na."
(I was thinking, since Bhaiyu calls me mouse, doesnât that make him a mouse too?)
Rishwik, Amandeep, and Akshavi burst into laughter, their amusement echoing through the room. Karanjeet, Savisha, and Kartavya joined in with light chuckles, while Rudraksh and Ashvik stood in stunned silence, clearly taken aback by the unexpected turn of events.
Rudraksh: "Jaana, soch soch ke ye socha hai tumne??"
(Really? Is this what youâve come up with after all that thinking?)
Ruhanika: "Ha toh sahi toh keh rahe hai na, aur is hisab se toh aap...."
(Yes, and Iâm right, arenât I? And by that logic, you would be...)
Rudraksh: "bas Ruhh bas, aaj ke liye bahaut soch liya hai tumne."
(Stop, Ruhh, stop. Youâve done enough thinking for today.)
Ruhanika giggled, her eyes sparkling with amusement, while Rudraksh chuckled softly.
Rishwik: "Bahaut nahi bhai, ekdum sahi socha hai, well done Angel."
(Not at all, Bhai. Sheâs thought it through perfectly. Well done, Angel.)
Ruhanika: "Dhanyawad Rishi Bhai."
(Thank you, Rishi Bhai.)
Rishwik, sitting beside Ruhanika, flashed her a grin before they gave each other a high five.
Akshavi: "Sorry Sugarpie, but ye actually me mast tha."
(Sorry, Sugarpie, but this was actually brilliant.)
Akshavi burst into laughter, joining the others who were already chuckling. Ashvik glanced around at everyone, his gaze finally settling on Ruhanika, giving her a playful glare. In response, Ruhanika offered him a sheepish smile, her expression full of innocence yet knowing exactly what had just happened.
Ruhanika: "Kya hua Chuha bhaiyuu."
(Whatâs wrong, Mouse brother)
Ashvik: "Aaj Teri khair nahi hai Ruhi chuhi."
(Youâre in trouble now, Ruhi Chuhi!)
Ashvik placed his spoon down with a grin and stood up, his eyes immediately locking onto Ruhanika, who giggled and sprinted away from the table. Ashvik quickly gave chase, and the family watched, amused by their playful antics. Ruhanika, not missing a beat, grabbed a cushion and threw it at Ashvik, but he expertly dodged it, laughing at her attempt. The two of them continued their chase, the playful banter between them flowing effortlessly. They were both so caught up in the fun that they completely forgot the reason for the chase in the first place, simply enjoying each other's company and the lighthearted moment.
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai, Aman bhaiya bachao na."
(Rishi Bhai, Aman Bhaiya, save me!)
As Ashvik closed in on Ruhanika, she realized she was about to be caught, and with a mischievous smile, she quickly called out to Amandeep and Rishwik. Both of them immediately sprang into action, running toward her to defend their little sister. Just as Ashvik was about to grab Ruhanika, Amandeep swooped in, lifting her by her waist and twirling her around in a playful move that sent Ashvik off course. Rishwik stepped in front of Ashvik, blocking his path with a smirk, while Ruhanika, now safe, hid behind Amandeep, peeking out from behind him with a playful grin.
Rishwik: "Aman idhar aa."
(Aman, come here.)
Amandeep and Rishwik stood protectively in front of Ashvik, forming a barrier, while Ruhanika, still a bit mischievous, hid behind them, peeking out from behind their shoulders, her eyes twinkling with playful curiosity.
Rishwik: "Humari Angel tak pohchne ke liye aapko hum do sheron ka samne karna hoga Prince Ashvik Rajpurohit."
(To reach our Angel, you must face us two lions, Prince Ashvik Rajpurohit.)
Ashvik: "Is it?"
Amandeep: "Yess, hum humari Ruhi ke personal bodyguard hai."
(Yes, weâre her personal bodyguards.)
Ashvik: "Ruko dono ki bodyguard giri nikalta hu."
(Hold on, let me show you two monkeys)
Ruhanika's giggle filled the air as Ashvik, not willing to let the playful moment end, poked Rishwik and Amandeep in the stomach, then started tickling them. Both men burst into laughter, squirming and trying to save themselves from his relentless teasing. Rishwik and Amandeep's attempts to escape only made Ashvik more determined, and the scene was filled with loud laughter and playful chaos. Amid the laughter, Ruhanika seized the opportunity to make her escape. She dashed toward Karanjeet and Kartavyaâs chair, quickly hiding behind it for safety. Her giggles still echoed from behind the chair as she peeked out, watching the tickling battle unfold. Karanjeet and Kartavya exchanged amused glances, enjoying the playful atmosphere around them.
Ashvik: "Khud ki body ko toh gaurd kar nahi sakte, bodyguard banna hai dono bandaro ko."
(You canât even guard your own bodies, and you want to guard hers?.)
The family chuckled as they looked at Rishwik and Amandeep, who were sprawled on the couch in a messy, laughter-filled state. Their hair was disheveled, and they were still catching their breath from the tickling onslaught. Meanwhile, Ashvik, determined to get his revenge, dashed toward the dining area. There, he spotted Ruhanika, who was standing with a wide grin on her face, clearly enjoying the sight of him being outwitted by her brothers. She raised an eyebrow at him, her mischievous smile still in place.
Rudraksh: "Ruk kyu gaya, ab jaa na pakad le use."
(Stop wasting time and go catch her.)
Ashvik: "Ye chalak lomdi."
(That cunning fox!)
Karanjeet: "Khabardar meri bachchi ko kuch bola toh"
(Donât you dare say anything about my child.)
Kartavya: "Little sunshine ko pareshan kiya toh mujhse bura..."
(If you trouble Little Sunshine, youâll have to deal with me.)
Rishwik: "dialogue mat maro bhai, aapse bura vaise bhi koi nahi hai"
(Donât just say dialogues, Bhai. No oneâs worse than you anyway.)
Kartavya shot a sharp glare at Rishwik, who met his gaze without backing down. Everyone finally settled back into their chairs.
Ruhanika: "Humne itni bhaga daudi kar li ab hume dobara bhook lag gayi."
(Iâve run around so much that Iâm hungry again.)
Rudraksh: "Ashvik, bhai tu ise roz aise bhagaya kar isi bahane khayegi toh ye."
(Ashvik, bro, you should chase her like this every day. At least sheâll eat because of it.)
Ruhanika pouted, clearly annoyed by the teasing, her arms crossed in a playful huff.
Savisha: "Kaha khayegi Rudraksh bhai, ye pura din mujhe khilati rehti hai aage piche ghumti rehti hai"
(She wonât eat, Rudraksh Bhai. She spends the whole day feeding me and running after me.)
Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa hume toh bhai sa ne kaha hai na vo office jaye toh hum khayal rakhe aapka."
(Bhabhi sa, Bhai sa told me to take care of you when heâs at the office.)
Kartavya: "Very good little sunshine, sahi karti ho tum.. main pakka tumhe iska reward dunga."
(Very good, Little Sunshine. Youâre doing the right thing. Iâll definitely reward you for this.)
Rudraksh lovingly fed Ruhanika while she was caught up in her conversation.
Ruhanika: "kya denge bhai sa??"
(What will you give me, Bhai sa?)
Rishwik: "Ek khada property mang lo Angel, hum dono share kar lenge."
(Ask for a piece of property, Angel. Weâll share it together.)
Akshavi: "Areee gareeb, Sudhar Jaa, Rudraksh bhai, kya soch ke ise CEO banaya aapne."
(Oh, poor guy, get a grip. Rudraksh Bhai, what were you thinking when you made him CEO?)
Amandeep: "Aise hi bana diya, Sochte toh nahi banate na."
(He didnât think at all. If he had, he wouldnât have made him one.)
Amandeep and Akshavi chuckled softly, still entertained by the playful chaos from earlier. Rishwik shot them a mock glare, his eyes narrowing at both of them, but his serious expression didnât fool anyone. Despite his gruff demeanor, the laughter from the dinner had lifted everyoneâs spirits, and the family was in a light-hearted mood.
As the dinner came to a close, the ladies excused themselves, heading to their rooms for some rest.
Meanwhile, the gents gathered in Rishwikâs home office, where they settled on the large couch. Rishwik, sat at his desk, focused and immersed in his work. His attention was divided between multiple laptops, his fingers typing rapidly across them, managing various tasks simultaneously. The atmosphere was thick with tension, everyone sitting on edge, sensing the weight of the moment.
Karanjeet: "Is khotya nu kuch aata bhi hai, ya aise udd raha hai."
(Does this idiot even know anything, or is he just bluffing?)
Rishwik: "Sun raha hu main"
(I can hear you.)
Amandeep: "Kaam karte waqt bhi har jagah dhyaan rehta hai iska, insaan nahi hai ye."
(Even while working, his mind is everywhere. Heâs not human.)
Ashvik: "Aur janwar ise apni category me accept nahi karenge."
(And animals wonât accept him in their category either.)
They both chuckled, their laughter echoing through the room, only to be interrupted when a pen suddenly flew toward them. Amandeep quickly dodged it.
Rudraksh: "Rishi, kitna time lagega aur?? You know na it's really important."
(Rishi, how much longer? You know itâs really important.)
Rishwik: "Just entering the codes bhai, 2 minutes."
Rishwik focused intently on his screen, his fingers swiftly typing in a series of codes into his system. The rhythmic tapping of keys filled the quiet room as he worked, his concentration unwavering as the lines of code appeared on the monitor.
Rishwik: "Donee."
Rishwik grinned, a sense of accomplishment evident on his face. The others, curious about his progress, stood up from their seats and gathered behind him. They leaned in, peering over his shoulders at the laptop screen, eager to see what he had been working on.
Kartavya: "What's this Rishi??"
Rishwik: "Vijaypratap ka system hack Kiya tha bhai, usme hi uske private number ke bare me pata chala tha... Use kisi ka call aaya tha vo kaha se tha kiska tha ye abhi hume 2 minute me pata chal jayega."
(I hacked Vijaypratapâs system, brother. Thatâs how I found out about his private number. He received a call from someone, and now weâre about to find out in two minutes who called him and from where.)
Rudraksh and Kartavya exchanged proud glances, their smiles reflecting admiration for Rishwikâs exceptional skills. There was no hacker in Asia who could rival Rishwik Malhotraâs intelligence and expertise. His reputation was unmatched, and it showed in the ease with which he handled complex systems.
However, Ashvik's expression soured, his jaw tightening with anger at the mention of Vijaypratap. The mere thought of him stirred up frustration and unresolved tension within him, as if the name itself was a trigger to something far deeper.
Rishwik: "What the helll."
Rishwik suddenly shouted in frustration, his fingers flying over the laptop keys with tense expressions, trying to fix something. The others exchanged confused glances, unsure of what was happening. Just as quickly as it had started, Rishwik's laptop crashed, shutting down completely, leaving him staring at the screen in disbelief.
Rishwik: "Noo nooo noooo"
Rishwik angrily tried to restart his laptop, repeatedly pressing the power button, but to no avail. Frustration surged within him as the device remained unresponsive. In a fit of rage, he punched the screen of the laptop, his fist landing with a loud thud.
Rudraksh: "Rishhiiiii"
Rudraksh's eyes widened in concern as he noticed the bruises on Rishwik's knuckles. He immediately shouted.
Kartavya: "What nonsense is this, Rishi?"
Ashvik: "Zara sa system crash hua toh khud ko hurt kar raha hai."
(The system crashed a little, and now you're hurting yourself.)
Karanjeet: "Khotyaa, pitega aisi bekaar harkat ki toh."
(Idiot, youâre going to get beaten up for such stupid behavior.)
Amandeep quickly retrieved the ointment, while Rudraksh knelt down in front of Rishwik, his expression filled with concern. Gently, he applied the ointment to Rishwik's bruised knuckles, his touch careful and soothing.
Rishwik: "Sorry bhai, main nahi kar paya."
(Sorry, brother. I couldnât do it.)
Rishwik's voice carried a sense of regret as he spoke.
Rudraksh: "Machine hai Rishi ho jata hai, dobara kar lena chote tension kyu leta hai."
(Itâs just a machine, Rishi. It happens. Try again later, little one. Why are you stressing over it?)
Rishwik: "Bhai tension ki hi baat hai."
(Brother, this is a serious issue.)
Kartavya: "Kya matlab?? Laptop crash hua isme tension kaisi??"
(What do you mean? Why stress over a laptop crash?)
Rishwik: "Bhai remember last year maine ek security system launch Kiya tha, with the most toughest codings."
(Brother, remember last year I launched a security system with the toughest coding?)
Amandeep: "The one that can only be operated by the user or you?"
Ashvik: "Is Vijaypratap having that security system on his phone??, then you could easily hack it, right??"
Rishwik: "That's the issue bhai, not Vijaypratap but the person with whom Vijaypratap talked. Us insaan ne mera security system use kiya and codings change kar di hai.... Now I am not able to hack my own system... Isiliye mera laptop crash ho gaya."
(Thatâs the issue, brother. Not Vijaypratap, but the person he talked to used my security system and changed its coding. Now, I canât hack my own system, and thatâs why my laptop crashed.)
Everyone was stunned. The idea that someone could outperform Rishwik in coding was something none of them, especially Rishwik, could digest. His pride was evident, and it seemed almost impossible for him to handle the thought of being left behind in something he considered himself the best at.
Rudraksh noticed the anger building in Rishwik's eyes. He knew his brother all too well â Rishwik had always struggled with losing, especially when it came to something he was passionate about. He had always prided himself on being the best, and this was a blow to his ego that was difficult for him to take. Rudraksh could feel the tension rising, and a part of him knew that the situation could escalate if he didn't intervene.
Rudraksh: "Koi baat nahi, we'll figure out something."
(Itâs okay. Weâll figure something out.)
Karanjeet: "Aaho, hun jaake araam karlo sare, kal dekhte hai ye issue. "
(Yeah, for now, go and rest. Weâll look into this tomorrow.)
Ashvik placed a reassuring hand on Rishwik's shoulder, offering a silent gesture of support.
Ashvik: "Itna mat soch, tu best hai and I'm sure tu baadme kar lega."
(Donât overthink it. Youâre the best, and Iâm sure youâll manage it later.)
Rishwik Just nodded.
Kartavya: "Ja ab soja Rishi."
(Now go and sleep, Rishi.)
Rishwik: "Aap sab jao bhai, main kuch der me chala jaunga."
(You all go, brothers. Iâll leave in a bit.)
Rudraksh sighed deeply, his gaze shifting to Amandeep. He knew his younger brother all too wellâRishwik often let his emotions get the better of him. With a quiet glance, Rudraksh silently communicated his understanding, hoping that Amandeep would help ease the tension and help Rishwik find his way back.
Amandeep: "Main rukta hu iske sath bhai, aap sab jaiye."
(Iâll stay with him, brothers. You all can leave.)
Everyone else left the room, leaving just Rishwik and Amandeep. Amandeep, sensing the tension, placed his hand on Rishwik's shoulder in a gesture of comfort, but Rishwik suddenly stood up with a jerk, his body tense.
Rishwik: "Usne thik nahi kya Aman."
(What that person did wasnât right, Aman.)
Amandeep: "Aur ab tu uske sath aur bura karega I know."
(And now, I know youâll do worse to them.)
Amandeep smirked, clearly amused, as he knew Rishwik well enough to understand his reactions. Rishwik, trying to regain his composure, placed his hand firmly on the table and leaned slightly forward, his eyes scanning the laptops in front of him
Rishwik: "Agar agle 24 hours me maine bhi uska system hack nahi kiya, toh mera naam bhi The best hacker Rishwik the great Malhotra nahi."
(If I donât hack their system in the next 24 hours, I wonât be called âThe Best Hacker, Rishwik the Great Malhotra.â)
Amandeep: "chalo ho gaya ye normal."
(Oh, there he goes, back to normal.)
Amandeep murmured under his breath, but Rishwik's sharp ears caught it, and he immediately glared at him. Without wasting a moment, Amandeep bolted from the room, with Rishwik hot on his heels. As they dashed past, Rudraksh, who had witnessed the whole chase from upstairs, smiled at the playful chaos unfolding. He shook his head in amusement before heading to his room.
Rudraksh entered the room quietly, his eyes immediately finding Ruhanika sitting on the bed, her focus deeply engrossed in her books. Her bag was neatly placed beside her, and the quiet hum of the room was filled only by the rustling of pages as she studied. He smiled softly, admiring her concentration, but didnât want to disturb her. So, he quietly made his way to the couch, setting his things down and turning his attention to his laptop. Ruhanika continued revising everything she had learned that day, her brow furrowed in focus. Time passed, and after about 25 minutes, she closed her books, satisfied with her revision. Rudraksh, who had been occasionally glancing at her while working, noticed a sudden change in her expression. She was staring at her books and bag with a sad, distant look on her face. Concern flickered in his eyes as he frowned and pushed aside his laptop, his attention now fully on her. Without a word, he stood up, walked over to the bed, and sat beside her. Gently, he pulled her into his embrace, offering her a comforting warmth. Ruhanika leaned into him, finding solace in his closeness. His arms wrapped around her, and the comforting presence of her husband instantly lifted some of the weight that seemed to be pressing on her.
Rudraksh: "Kya mera betu thak gaya??"
(Is my baby tired?)
Ruhanika wrapped her arms around his waist, her chin resting gently on his chest as she gazed up at him with a soft, affectionate look in her eyes.
Ruhanika: "Humara itna Sundar bag, pehle din hi ganda ho gaya, ab hum kal ise kaise le jayenge???"
(My beautiful bag got dirty on the very first day. How will I take it tomorrow?)
Rudraksh chuckled softly, his fingers gently brushing her hair as he leaned in, rubbing his nose against hers in a playful and affectionate gesture.
Rudraksh: "Itne sare toh hai, main dusra laga dunga."
(We have so many bags. Iâll give you another one.)
Ruhanika: "Aap sab humare pasandida rang le aaye hai, vo sare bahaut halke rang hai, jaldi gande ho jayenge."
(You brought all my favorite colors, but theyâre all light shades. Theyâll get dirty quickly.)
Rudraksh tightened his grip around her, pulling her closer as he snuggled her into his embrace, feeling the warmth and comfort of her presence.
Rudraksh: "No problem, Rajkumari ji ke liye aur bags aa jayenge, aap fikar na kare Mallika-e-Aksh, aapki khidmat me koi kami mehsus hone nahi denge aapko."
(No problem. More bags will come for our princess. Donât worry, Mallika-e-Aksh (Queen of Aksh). Weâll make sure you donât lack anything.)
Ruhanika giggled softly, a bright smile spreading across her face as she relaxed in his arms.
Ruhanika: "Humare gande kapde badalne ke dhanyawad."
(Thank you for changing my dirty clothes.)
Rudraksh gazed at her with wide eyes.
Rudraksh: "Jaana, kya bol rhi ho maine nahi badle hai tumhare kapde, Akshu ka bola tha."
(Dear, what are you saying? I didnât change your clothes. Akshu did.)
Ruhanika: "Achcha bhabhi ne badle."
(Oh, sister-in-law changed them.)
Rudraksh: "Haa aur ye tumhare dimaag khayal bhi kaise aaya??? Aisa sochti ho tum mere bare me."
(Yes. And how did such a thought even cross your mind? Do you think this way about me?)
Ruhanika, still in the same position, smiled softly and gently caressed his cheeks, her touch tender and full of affection.
Ruhanika: "Hum jante agar aapne badlne bhi hote toh hume dekhte nahi humari sehmati ke bina, Humari ichcha se uper aapke liye kuch nahi hai hum jante hai ye baat."
(I know that even if you had to change my clothes, you wouldnât look without my consent. I know that my wishes mean everything to you.)
Rudraksh sighed in relief, his heart swelling with warmth as he smiled, realizing the depth of Ruhanika's trust and understanding. Ruhanika, sensing his emotions, lifted herself slightly and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead, her gesture filled with love and reassurance.
Ruhanika: "Hum aapke bare me kuch bura nahi soch sakte, isiliye ab aap bura mat sochiye, samjhe humare nazuk kali??"
(I can never think anything bad about you, so donât think badly of me, understood, my delicate flower?)
Rudraksh: "Ruhhhhh"
Ruhanika giggled softly, her laughter ringing like a melody. She pulled away slightly, her eyes sparkling with affection as she looked up at Rudraksh.
Ruhanika: "achcha achcha, Hum ye books aur baaki chize rakh ke aate hai."
(Okay, okay. Iâll go keep these books and other things.)
Rudraksh nodded warmly, his smile reassuring her. Ruhanika smiled back and picked up all her study materials, carefully placing them in their proper spots. Once done, she turned back to the bed and saw Rudraksh lying comfortably with one hand behind his head, exuding his usual charm. Unable to resist, she quickly dashed toward him, her energy brimming. She jumped onto the bed with a playful squeal and slipped under his vest, nestling close to his chest. Rudraksh chuckled softly at her antics, wrapping his arms around her protectively. He pulled the blanket over them, cocooning them in their shared warmth. As the room settled into a cozy silence, Rudraksh could feel her gaze fixed on him, her eyes filled with mischief and affection. A knowing smile crept across his lips.
Rudraksh: "So jao Ruhh kal jaldi nahi uthaunga, college nahi hai kal."
(Go to sleep, Ruhh. I wonât wake you early tomorrow. College is off.)
Ruhanika tilted her head slightly, her brows knitting together in confusion as she frowned.
Ruhanika: "Nahi hai matlab? Hume toh koi Email ya message nahi aaya."
(What do you mean itâs off? I didnât receive any email or message.)
Rudraksh: "Sab guardians ko message aaya hai, mujhe aur Ashvik ko aaya hai aaj sirf introduction tha baaki classes next week se start hongi."
(All the guardians were informed. Ashvik and I received the message. Today was just an introduction; regular classes start next week.)
Ruhanika: "Aisa bhi hota hai??"
(Is that even a thing?)
Rudraksh: "Har college me aisa hi hota hai betu."
(It happens in every college, dear.)
Ruhanika tilted her head in confusion but nodded nonetheless, trusting him completely. Rudraksh exhaled deeply, gathering his thoughts, and began explaining everything to her. However, he kept his eyes closed the entire timeâhe couldnât bear to look into her eyes and lie or withhold anything from her. Even with his eyes shut, he could feel her unwavering gaze on him, the warmth of her presence, and the soft curve of her smile. He opened his eyes to find her staring at him with her signature smile, the dimples on her cheeks deepening. Unable to resist, Rudrakshâs lips curved into a soft smile of his own. He reached out and gently poked one of her dimples, a gesture so simple yet filled with affection.
Rudraksh: "So jaiye Mallika-e-Aksh, hum kuch nahi kar rahe hai."
(Go to sleep, Mallika-e-Aksh. Iâm not doing anything.)
Ruhanika: "Toh hum kar lein kya??"
(Then can I do something?)
Rudraksh: "Ruhhhhh"
Rudraksh attempted to keep his voice stern as he tried to maintain his composure, but his efforts faltered when he saw Ruhanikaâs warm, intense gaze locked onto him. She stepped closer, her proximity making his resolve waver. Her gentle touch further undid him as she cupped his cheeks and began caressing them tenderly. A soft, involuntary smile crept onto his face, unable to resist the love and sincerity radiating from her.
Ruhanika: "Hume aapko pyaar karne ka man kar raha hai, kare kya??"
(I feel like loving you. Should I?)
Rudraksh opened his eyes slowly, only to find Ruhanika already gazing at him with her chin resting softly on his chest. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity and affection, a small smile playing on her lips. For a moment, neither of them spoke, letting the silence fill with the warmth of their shared moment.
Rudraksh: "Kab nahi karta hai Ruhh?? Roz hi toh karta hai tumhara man."
(When donât you feel like it, Ruhh? You feel like it every day.)
Ruhanika: "Par aap Roz sula dete hai hume, aur phir aaj aap keh rahe the na ki humari wali activities kare.. kare kya??"
(But every day, you put me to sleep. And didnât you say earlier today that weâd engage in "our kind of activities"? Should we?)
Rudraksh felt a warm, pink hue creeping up his cheeks at her affectionate words. Even after all these months, her unhesitating expressions of love never failed to stir his heart. He adored this about her, how she wore her emotions so openly, making him feel cherished in ways he hadn't imagined before.
Ruhanika: "Uper se aaj subah toh aapne safed shirt bhi pehni thi, kale kapdo me toh aap Manmohak lagte hi hai, par safed kapdo me toh aapke hath aur Zyada aakarshit lagte hai hume."
(Plus, this morning, you were wearing a white shirt. You always look charming in black, but in white, your hands look even more appealing to me.)
Ruhanika's words flowed effortlessly, her voice filled with genuine admiration as she praised Rudraksh's features, calling him beautiful in every way she could think of. Her eyes sparkled with love, and her hands gestured enthusiastically, emphasizing her heartfelt compliments. Rudraksh, on the other hand, couldn't take his eyes off her. He wasn't focused on her words anymore but on the way she spoke, the way her eyes lit up, and how her smile seemed to light up the entire room. Her affection poured out so freely, and all he could do was be there, mesmerized by the woman who had turned his world into something so beautiful.
Ruhanika: "Aap na bahaut sundar hai, aur hum humesha aapko aise hi prem karenge."
(Youâre so beautiful, and I will always love you like this.)
Ruhanika said excitedly, her voice filled with energy, and then leaned in to peck his lips. However, Rudraksh captured her lips fully, his hands gently pulling her closer, turning her to hover over him. Ruhanika instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling a rush of warmth. The moment became more intense as his lips traced a path from her face to her neck and then down to her shoulder, each kiss sending a shiver down her spine. His hand slowly moved towards the hem of her t-shirt, but just as he was about to slip it up, he paused.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, dear, can I just slip my hâ¦"
Ruhanika, her eyes filled with affection and warmth, gently leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on Rudrakshâs cheek.
Ruhanika: "Aap kar sakte hai Akshh."
(You can, Akshh.)
Rudraksh gently kissed her head, his lips lingering for a moment before burying his face in the crook of her neck. His touch was tender, filled with a warmth that spoke of comfort and trust. Slowly, his hand slipped under the fabric of her t-shirt, caressing her waist but not moving upward with careful intent. He wanted to show her everything gradually, ensuring she felt safe and secure in every touch, never rushing or overwhelming her. He knew she expressed her affection through physical gestures, and he respected that, always mindful of how to make her feel loved. As the night grew deeper, they became completely lost in each other, their connection growing stronger with each shared moment. In the quiet of their room, the couple found solace in each other's embrace, eventually drifting off to sleep in the safety and warmth of each other's arms.
