(Ruhanika)

(Just gave Ruhi's version of the song a try! Apologies if it’s not that great. Feel free to share your own versions in the comments! 🌷)

Both Rudraksh and Ruhanika were sleeping peacefully, the quiet of the night enveloping them. Suddenly, Ruhanika stirred in her sleep, her small body shifting closer to his. She rubbed her cheeks against his chest, seeking comfort even in her slumber, and her grip on him tightened. Her nails, unintentionally digging into his skin, caused a slight sting, enough to disturb his sleep.

Rudraksh’s eyes fluttered open, his senses immediately alert as he felt her movements. He glanced down at his chest and noticed Ruhanika. Her expression was tense, her face glistening with a sheen of sweat. Her eyes remained tightly shut as she murmured something inaudible, her voice laced with distress. She rubbed her cheeks against his chest as though trying to escape a bad dream, her small hands clutching at him as if he was her anchor.

Concern overtook Rudraksh as he realized she was far from at ease. Fully awake now, he gently placed a hand on her damp cheek, his touch tender and reassuring. He patted her cheek lightly, hoping to bring her out of the troubled state she seemed to be in.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, betu get upp, kya hua."

(Ruhhh, sweetheart, wake up. What's wrong?)

Rudraksh gently patted her cheeks again, but Ruhanika didn’t stir. A wave of worry crossed his face as he carefully removed her from his vest, making sure not to startle her. Holding her tenderly in his arms, he shifted to the bed and sat down with her cradled against him.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, get up kya hua."

(Ruhhh, wake up. What's wrong?)

Rudraksh's heart sank as he noticed her trembling figure, her eyes tightly shut in terror. Panic set in as he gently cupped her face, trying to comfort her.

Ruhanika: "N..ahi, bhai..ya, du..rr..n..a.."

(N..no, br..o..ther, d..o..n't,..le..ave..)

Realizing that Ruhanika was caught in the grip of a nightmare, Rudraksh’s concern deepened. He quickly reached for the glass of water on the side table and dipped his fingers into it. Gently, he sprinkled the cool droplets onto her face, hoping it would bring her back from her unsettling dream.

Ruhanika: "Duu....rrrrr"

(D..o...n't...)

Ruhanika woke up with a sudden jerk, her heart racing. She looked around, her eyes landing on Rudraksh, who was still holding her protectively. Before he could say anything, she broke down, tears streaming down her face as she hugged him tightly, seeking comfort in his embrace. Rudraksh's heart clenched as he realized that her nightmare had shaken her deeply. This was exactly what he had feared—being such a sensitive person, she could easily be haunted by bad dreams. He had hoped that, after a peaceful evening, she would rest soundly through the night. But seeing her like this made his worries resurface. He wrapped his arms around her even tighter, his hand gently rubbing her back in soothing circles. He pressed soft kisses to her head, trying to calm her and reassure her that everything was okay. Ruhanika's breathing was uneven, a sign that she was still caught in the aftermath of her nightmare.

Rudraksh: "Shhh, betu main hu na sath yaha."

(Shhh, sweetheart, I’m here with you.)

Ruhanika: "Vo.. v..o t..ab bh..aiya..."

(Th..ey.. th..at ti..me bro...)

Rudraksh: "Shhh jaana, kuch mat bolo, take deep breaths."

(Shhh, love, don’t say anything right now. Just take deep breaths.)

Ruhanika: "Vo.. us..r.."

Rudraksh: "Shhh Ruhhh Shhh, shant pehle."

(Shhh Ruhhh, calm down first.)

Rudraksh had witnessed Ruhanika in a similar state before, when he had brought her back home after the forest incident. Back then, she had quieted down when he hugged her, seeking comfort in his embrace. But tonight, it was different. This time, Ruhanika was panicked, trembling uncontrollably, and crying terribly, her distress far deeper than what he'd seen before. As he held her close, Rudraksh’s heart tightened with concern. He rubbed her back gently, trying to soothe her, but her body kept shivering, her sobs shaking her fragile form. She pressed her face against his chest, her small frame seeking refuge in him as if she wanted to disappear into him completely, hiding from whatever fear was tormenting her.

Even after ten minutes of his continuous efforts to comfort her, her crying showed no signs of stopping, and her condition seemed to worsen by the second. His instincts kicked in, and Rudraksh knew he couldn’t let this go on any longer. He needed to get help. His hand continued to rub her back in soothing motions, but with the other hand, he reached for his phone, planning to call the doctor. Just as he was about to dial, he felt Ruhanika’s small, trembling hand grip his wrist tightly. He froze, looking down at her. Her face was flushed a deep red from the crying, her eyes swollen and puffy, the tears still streaming down her cheeks. She looked up at him, her gaze full of desperation, silently pleading for him to stay with her. Seeing her in this state, so vulnerable and broken, made his heart ache even more.

Ruhanika: "Hume do..ctor ki n..nahi, aa..pki zarurat hai. Hume a..ap chahiye."

(I don’t need a doctor. I need you. I just need you.)

Rudraksh, unable to bear seeing Ruhanika in such a state, gently put his phone aside and lifted her into his lap, cradling her with all the care and tenderness he had. Ruhanika immediately hugged him tightly, burying her face in the crook of his neck as if seeking solace in his warmth and presence. She didn’t say a word, but the tightness of her grip spoke volumes. Rudraksh, ever patient, didn’t press her for answers. He knew that sometimes, words weren’t needed. Instead, he focused on soothing her, rubbing her back in slow, gentle strokes, his fingers weaving through her hair, and whispering soft words of comfort. Occasionally, he kissed her head, silently reassuring her that she was safe with him. Her cries gradually subsided, replaced by soft, involuntary hiccups, signaling that the worst of the emotional storm was passing. He reached for a glass of water, gently bringing it to her lips and helping her drink, watching her with concern all the while. Once she had drunk, she once again placed her head on his shoulder, and Rudraksh held her even tighter, wrapping his arms around her protectively, as if trying to shield her from the entire world.

Ruhanika’s hands, still trembling slightly, moved to rest on his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath her palm. She closed her eyes, finding some semblance of peace in the steady thrum of his heart, allowing it to soothe her frayed nerves. Rudraksh, however, couldn't shake off the worry gnawing at him. He had seen her in moments of distress before, but this felt different. It wasn’t just a bad dream or fleeting discomfort. Her body’s reaction—the trembling, the sobbing, the overwhelming sense of panic—was a clear sign that she had experienced some form of panic or anxiety attack. He wasn’t entirely sure what to call it, but whatever it was, he couldn’t stand seeing her like this. His mind raced with concern as he held her close, silently vowing to find a way to help her, to protect her from whatever this was.

Ruhanika: "Hum jab se aapke sath hai humare sath kabhi aisa nahi hua, pata nahi aaj kaise."

(Ever since I’ve been with you, nothing like this has ever happened. I don’t know why it happened today.)

As Ruhanika's lone tear escaped, it landed softly on Rudraksh's neck, and he immediately felt the wetness, his heart clenching with a mixture of sadness and fury. His eyes shut tightly in anger, the intensity of his emotions building up. He could not tolerate seeing his Ruhi in this state, vulnerable and hurt. The thought of anyone causing her pain ignited a fire within him, a deep, unwavering anger towards those responsible.

Rudraksh: "Shh jaana, hum kal hi doctor ke pass jayenge, dobara aisa nhi hone dunga."

(Shhh, love, tomorrow we’ll go to the doctor. I won’t let this happen again.)

Ruhanika: "Doctor kuch nahi kar sakti, par aap kar sakte hai."

(The doctor can’t do anything, but you can.)

Rudraksh gently cupped her cheeks, his touch tender and affectionate as he looked into her eyes with warmth and care.

Rudraksh: "Bolo betu, kya hua hai mere betu ko?? Kya karna hai mujhe??"

(Tell me, sweetheart. What’s wrong? What do I need to do?)

Ruhanika: "Hum batana chahte hai aapko sab kuch, aap sunenge."

(I want to tell you everything. Will you listen?)

Rudraksh understood that Ruhanika wanted to share the things that were already written in the letter from Nima. He knew she was struggling with it, likely feeling the weight of those memories. He wanted to hear everything from her, to fully understand what had happened so he could make sure those responsible faced the consequences. But at the same time, he didn’t want to pressure her. He wanted her to feel safe, to open up when she was ready, not forced.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, abhi tumhari tabiyat thik nahi hai, tum..."

(Ruhh, you’re not feeling well right now, maybe you should—)

Ruhanika: "Hum aapko batane ke baad hi halka mehsus karenge, sun lijiye na vinti karte....."

(I’ll only feel better after telling you everything. Please listen, I beg you...)

Rudraksh: "Shh Ruhh, please nahi tum sirf order karogi... Bolo jo kehna hai main sun raha hu."

(Shhh Ruhh, don’t beg. Just order me. Tell me what you want to say. I’m listening.)

Ruhanika settled comfortably on his lap, her face resting softly against his chest as he lovingly stroked her hair, his touch gentle and soothing.

Ruhanika: "mama, Mami, bhaiya didi hum sab hume bahaut tang karte the, humpe chillate the, sare kaam humse karwate the, phir kehte the hum thik se nahi karte kuch bhi, sazaa dete hai. Chai thik nhi bani toh humare uper hi fek diya, khana achcha nhi toh vo bhi fek diya, aur bahaut kuch. Phir ek baar Hum 15 saal ke the, mama mami ne kaha tha ki vo sachet bhaiya aur Mahira didi ko videsh bhej rahe hai, kyuki vo sirf humari parvarish karna chahte the. Hume laga sach keh rahe hai, hum thode se khush ho gaye kyuki sachet bhaiya aur Mahira didi hume bahaut satate the kabhi humpe pani girana toh kabhi hume hi gira Dena... Ek baar Mahira didi ne khana bhi feka hum pe kyuki vo garam nahi tha, par hum sach keh rahe hai vo garam tha hum thode jal bhi gaye the."

(Uncle, aunt, brother, and sister—they used to trouble me a lot. They would yell at me, make me do all the chores, and then say I couldn’t do anything right. They used to punish me. If the tea wasn’t good, they’d throw it on me. If the food wasn’t right, they’d throw that too. There was so much more. Once, when I was 15, mom and aunt said they were sending Sachet and Mahira abroad because they only wanted to take care of me. I believed them. I was a little happy because Sachet and Mahira used to trouble me a lot—sometimes pouring water on me or pushing me down. Once, Mahira threw food on me because it wasn’t hot enough. But I swear it was hot; I even got slightly burned.)

Anger surged through Rudraksh's veins as he held Ruhanika in his arms, his grip tightening instinctively. Ruhanika could feel the intensity of his emotions, the tension in his body as he struggled to contain his fury. Sensing the storm within him, she placed her hand gently on his chest, rubbing it softly in an attempt to calm him down.

Ruhanika: "Par unke Jane ke baad vaisa toh kuch nahi hua, balki Mami humse aur kaam karane lagi, aur mama bhi... Hume padhne ka bhi waqt nahi milta tha. Raat me Nima humari madad karti thi padhai karne me, par hum itne thak jate the ki kuch palon me hi so jate the. Hum nahi seh paa rahe the kuch bhi."

(But after they left, nothing changed. In fact, Aunt made me do even more work, and Mom supported her. I didn’t even get time to study. At night, Nima would help me study, but I was always so tired that I’d fall asleep in moments. I couldn’t take it anymore.)

Rudraksh's mind began to race, already plotting ways to get back at the Rathores for their actions, a cold determination settling in his thoughts as he mulled over various ways to make them pay.

Ruhanika: "Phir bhi humne kuch nahi kaha, phir ek din Sachet bhaiya vapas aa gaye. Hum toh durr hi rehte the unse par phir raat me jab so Gaye hum bhi padhai karne baithe, Kamre ka darwaza khatkhate ki awaaz aayi, hum jante the Nima hongi vo humare sath hi soti thi. Humne khola toh Nima nahi Sachet bhaiya the. Hum Darr Gaye aur pucha bhi Nima kaha hai par bhaiya hume ajeeb nazaron se dekhne lage hume pasand nahi aaya toh humne darwaza band karna chaha par unhone hume piche dhakka de diya aur khud andar aa gaye."

(Still, I didn’t say anything. Then one day, Sachet came back. I kept my distance from him, but one night while I was studying, someone knocked on the door. I thought it was Nima because she used to sleep in my room. When I opened it, it wasn’t Nima—it was Sachet. I got scared and asked where Nima was, but he looked at me weirdly. I didn’t like it, so I tried to close the door, but he pushed me back and came inside.)

Rudraksh's heart raced with anxiety as he held Ruhanika close. His mind spiraled with worry, the thought of someone trying to hurt her or touch her inappropriately making his blood boil. He could feel the tension building in his chest, but he knew he couldn't stop her. Ruhanika needed to release everything she had been holding in.

Ruhanika's grip on his vest tightened as she clung to him, her emotions running wild. She was trying to suppress the overwhelming flood of feelings, but in that moment, it was clear that she needed his support more than ever.

Ruhanika: "Unhone humara dupatta bhi fek diya. Aur humare pass aane lage, hume achcha nahi laga hum turant bhagne wale the par unhone humara hath pakad ke hume niche gira diya, aur humari taraf jhukne lage. Hum ro rahe the mana kar rahe the par vo nahi Mane unhone humare chehre ko pakda aur daba diya zor se phir thappad bhi mara aur kaha ki ab hum unki hai. Hum ro rahe the, chilla rahe the aur vo has rahe the. Hume achcha nahi laga humne dhakka de diya unhe, phir unhone chaku nikal liya aur hume dhamkane lage ki hume maar denge. Hum Darr Gaye, bhagne lagi toh unhone chaku se humare pairon pe mata, khoon bhi aa raha tha par vo zabardasti kar rahe the... Aur Nima ki awaaz aayi humne unhe bulana chaha par bhaiya ne hume Muh pe hath rakha, humne khud ko chuda ke unka hath kaata, par phir unhone hume dhakka deke giraya aur humare hath ki nass kaat di."

(He threw my scarf away and started coming closer to me. I didn’t like it, so I tried to run, but he grabbed my hand and pushed me to the ground. He started leaning toward me. I was crying, saying no, but he didn’t stop. He grabbed my face, squeezed it hard, slapped me, and said, “You’re mine now.” I was crying and screaming, and he was laughing. I pushed him away, and then he took out a knife and threatened to kill me. I got scared and tried to run, but he cut my legs with the knife. Blood was flowing, but he kept forcing himself on me. Then Nima’s voice called out. I tried to shout for her, but he covered my mouth. I bit his hand to free myself, but he pushed me again and cut my wrist.)

Rudraksh's fists clenched as he listened to Ruhanika recount everything, her voice trembling with emotion. Each word she spoke made his anger burn hotter, his blood boiling at the thought of what that man, Sachet Rathore, had done to her. He could barely keep himself together as the horrific details flooded his mind. The image of him hurting her, of violating her in any way, made Rudraksh feel like he was losing control. Ruhanika’s tears fell freely, each drop deepening the rage coursing through him. He wanted nothing more than to hunt down Sachet and make him pay for every ounce of pain he had caused her. The injustice of it all fueled a dark desire for vengeance, and Rudraksh had to remind himself to stay calm for Ruhanika’s sake. She needed him to be her strength, not to mirror the anger threatening to consume him. He suddenly recalled what Shanta had said that one fateful night—the night when Ruhanika had been at the Rathore mansion.

Ruhanika: "Uske baad hume kuch yaad nahi, hum jab uthe toh Nima thi humare sath hum unke gale lag ke bahaut roye. Nima ne kaha bhaiya chale gaye ab aisa nhi hoga. Phir kuch saal baad Nima bhi hume chod ke humesha ke liye chali gayi, tab mama ne kaha ki hum vaha se kahi nahi ja sakte aur humne kuch bhi karne ki koshish ki toh vo humare sath vahi karenge Jo bhaiya ne kiya tha, unhone hume buri tarah haath bhi lagaya, dupatta fek diya, kareeb aake dhamkaya, bilkul vaise jaise us jungle wale aadmi ne kiya tha, hum Darr Gaye the isiliye us din ke baad humne kuch nahi kaha. Hum bahaut pareshan the vaha, kit...k..itni baar toh laga ki j...jaa..n de de apni, phir hume yakeen tha na ki aap aayenge na hume lene. Itne saalon me ek pal bhi aisa nahi tha jab humara Dil darr se tezi se na dhadka ho, hum har waqt bas dare sehme rehte the.... Phir ek din aap aaye aur hume le gaye, ab hum humesha aapke pass, sukoon se rehte hai."

(After that, I don’t remember anything. When I woke up, Nima was with me. I hugged her and cried a lot. She said Sachet had left and that nothing like this would happen again. But after a few years, Nima left me forever too. After that, Mom said I couldn’t leave the house, and if I tried, they’d do to me what Sachet had done. They would touch me inappropriately, throw my scarf away, and threaten me, just like that man in the jungle. I got scared, so I never said anything. I was so troubled there. So many times, I thought of ending my life. But I had faith that you would come and take me away. Not a single moment passed without fear, my heart always raced in terror. Then one day, you came and took me away. Now I live in peace, always with you.)

Ruhanika smiled through her tears, her eyes filled with emotions as she looked at Rudraksh. His gaze softened, but a deep, unbearable pain settled in his heart when she mentioned how she had once wanted to take her life. Rudraksh's heart clenched painfully at her words, the thought of her ever feeling so lost and broken that she would consider ending her own life shook him to his core. He pulled her closer, his chest tightening with the weight of the pain she had carried for so long. His breath hitched as he kissed away her tears, each kiss a silent promise that she would never have to feel that way again. He enveloped her in his arms, holding her as if she were the most precious thing in the world. His embrace was gentle but firm, as though he was reassuring both her and himself that she was safe now, that he was there, and nothing could harm her as long as he had breath in his body.

Ruhanika: "Humne aapko sab sach sach bata diya ab hume halka mehsus ho raha hai."

(I’ve told you everything now. I feel lighter.)

She smiled at him, and in response, he leaned in and gently kissed the tip of her nose, his affection clear in the tender gesture.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, do you want to punish them?"

Her smile faded instantly, and she lowered her head, her expression turning serious as she seemed to retreat into her thoughts.

Ruhanika: "Hume kisi se koi vaasta nahi rakhna, humare Shiv ji sabke karmo ka hisaab rakhte hai."

(I don’t want anything to do with them. My Shiv Ji will take care of everyone’s deeds.)

Rudraksh chuckled softly to himself, the thought of Ruhanika’s innocent belief that her Shiv Ji would punish the culprits bringing a bittersweet smile to his lips. How could she think that? She deserved more than divine intervention—she deserved justice in the form of someone who would protect her with everything they had. And it was his duty, as her husband, to make sure that justice was served. His resolve hardened, a sense of unwavering determination taking root. No, he wouldn’t leave it to fate or higher powers; he would personally ensure that those who had wronged her paid for their actions. As her husband, it was his duty, and he would not rest until it was done.

Rudraksh: "Betu, do you mind if I do something about it?"

Ruhanika: "Hume pura bharosa hai aap pe, aap jo karenge thik hi karenge, aap jo chahe kare."

(I trust you completely. Do whatever you think is right.)

She spoke with immense trust in her voice, her words only fueling Rudraksh's desire to make the culprits pay. The depth of her trust stirred something fierce within him. Feeling the need for comfort, she snuggled deeper into him, seeking solace in his arms.

Rudraksh: "Jaana, suno"

(Love, listen to me.)

Ruhanika: "Jii"

(Yes?)

Rudraksh: "Aaj ke baad ye kabhi mat bolna betu ki tumhe apni j...a..an deni thi, main nahi seh paunga Ruhh, mujhme tumhe khone jitni himmat nahi hai betu, main ..main ma..."

(Never say again that you thought of ending your life. I can’t handle that, Ruhh. I don’t have the strength to lose you.)

Ruhanika placed her hand gently on his lips, stopping him from speaking, and without a word, she pulled him into a tight hug. Rudraksh melted into her embrace, his arms wrapping around her as if he never wanted to let go. He felt her hand rubbing his back, soothing him, but even through the comfort, a few tears escaped his eyes. The rawness of his emotions overwhelmed him. He buried his face in her neck, inhaling her fragrance deeply, trying to calm the storm inside him. The thought of her ever considering harming herself ignited something deep within him, a fierce protectiveness and an aching love he couldn't fully articulate. Ruhanika kissed the side of his head softly, a silent promise of support, before pulling back slightly. When he looked at her, there was a vulnerability in his eyes, like a child craving the warmth of his mother.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, raho na aise hi."

(Ruhh, be like this )

Rudraksh actually whined, his vulnerable side rarely shown to anyone, yet she could always bring it out of him. It was a side of him that only she got to see, and she cherished it. She giggled softly, cupping his face in her hands and squeezing it affectionately, her eyes filled with love as she pampered him in that tender moment.

Ruhanika: "Ek minute rukiye na humari Nazuk kali."

(Wait a minute, my fragile flower.)

Rudraksh: "Ruhhhhh"

She giggled once more, playfully shifting from his lap to the bed and lying down. She stretched her hands out toward him, silently inviting him to join her. He immediately chuckled.

Rudraksh: "Betu mera tumhari tarah hawa jitna weight nahi hai."

(Sweetheart, I don’t have your feather-light weight.)

She pouted, giving him a playful glare, her eyes twinkling with mock annoyance as she waited for his reaction.

Ruhanika: "Aap hawa keh rahe hai hume?? "

(Are you calling me feather-light?)

Rudraksh: "Aaho ji Sohneyo, and vaise bhi chot aayi thi na tumhe."

(Yes, my beautiful one. And anyway, you were injured.)

Ruhanika: "Hum bilkul thik hai, aur agar ab aap humare pass nahi aaye toh hum aapse thode se naraz ho jayenge. "

(I’m perfectly fine, and if you don’t come to me right now, I’ll be a little upset with you.)

Rudraksh giggled at her playful, threatening words, but when he caught the intensity of her glare, he immediately stopped, realizing she wasn't entirely joking.

Ruhanika: "Aaiye humare hath dard kar rahe hai."

(Come on, my hands hurt.)

Rudraksh shook his head with a smile, amused by her antics, before lying down and resting his head on her chest. She wrapped her arms around him, enveloping him like a warm blanket, offering him a sense of peace and comfort in her embrace.

Rudraksh: "Jaana, are you comfortable??"

(Sweetheart, are you comfortable?)

Ruhanika: "apne dimag ko araam dijiye thoda, hum thik hai."

(Give your mind some rest. I’m fine.)

Rudraksh placed his chin gently on her chest, gazing up at her with a soft expression. His arms were wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer as he looked at her with affection and a sense of peace.

Ruhanika: "Vaise hume aapko dhanyawad kehna tha."

(By the way, I wanted to thank you.)

Rudraksh: "Pehli baat toh zarurat nahi hai, aur dusri ki kis Khushi me??"

(First, there’s no need, and second, for what?)

Ruhanika: "Hum jante hai aap har raat humare hathon me cream lagate hai, taaki humare hath se vo cut ne nishan chala jaye, aur sach me chala gaya."

(I know you apply cream to my hands every night to remove the scar from that cut, and it’s gone now.)

Rudraksh smiled warmly and tenderly kissed her cheek.

Rudraksh: "Main janta hu tumhe vo nishan dekh ke takleef hoti thi."

(I knew seeing that scar hurt you.)

Ruhanika smiled softly and gently kissed his forehead, a tender gesture that spoke volumes of her love and care for him.

Rudraksh: "Achcha Ruhh ye tum zyada naraz kyu nahi hoti??"

(By the way, Ruhh, why don’t you get angry more often?)

Ruhanika: "Usme hum aapse baat nahi kar payenge na, aur vo humse hoga nahi, isiliye thode se hi hote hai."

(If I get too angry, I won’t be able to talk to you, and I can’t do that. So I only get a little upset.)

Rudraksh started laughing, unable to contain his amusement at her pout. Ruhanika, in mock annoyance, removed her hands from him, but he quickly placed them back, his smile widening as he playfully teased her.

Rudraksh: "Achcha achcha Sorry, nahi hasunga."

(Alright, alright, I’m sorry. I won’t laugh.)

Ruhanika: "Pakka??"

(Promise?)

Rudraksh: "ji Mallika-e-Aksh pakka, aur koi aadesh??"

(Yes, my queen, promise. Any other commands?)

Ruhanika: "Ji ab aap araam se so jaiye, Varna phir subah kahenge ki Ruhh, tumhari inhi harkaton ki wajah se main late ho jata hu."

(Yes, please sleep now. Otherwise, tomorrow you’ll say, “Ruhh, because of you, I got late again.”)

Rudraksh: "Achcha toh tum subah phir se humari wali activities karogi??"

(So, will you do our usual morning activities again?)

Ruhanika: "karne ke ko Hum abhi bhi kar sakte hai, par abhi raat me hi Kiya tha isiliye rukna chahiye na."

(I can do them now too, but we already did it tonight, so we should wait.)

Rudraksh chuckled softly, his laughter fading as he settled back down, placing his head gently on her chest once again, finding comfort in her embrace.

Rudraksh: "So jao Betu."

(Go to sleep, sweetheart.)

Ruhanika: "Ji Huzoor-e-ala"

(Yes, Your Majesty.)

Rudraksh: "Shut up Ruhh."

She giggled softly, feeling the warmth of their closeness, and soon both of them drifted off to sleep, peacefully wrapped in each other's arms, their hearts calm and content.

The next morning, Ruhanika was still peacefully asleep, and Rudraksh, careful not to disturb her, gently slipped away from her embrace. He replaced himself with a pillow, so she wouldn’t wake up alone. As he quietly got up, Ruhanika, still lost in her dreams, instinctively hugged the pillow, settling back into a peaceful slumber. Rudraksh quickly dressed in his gym gear, his face serious with a resolve that was hard to shake. He needed to clear his mind, to channel the storm of emotions swirling inside him.

At the gym, he was in his element—pounding the punching bag with relentless force. The steady rhythm of his strikes was the only thing that kept his fury in check. His eyes were bloodshot, a sign of the anger that simmered just beneath the surface. Every punch was a release, a desperate attempt to control the overwhelming feelings of helplessness and rage that threatened to consume him. Soon, Kartavya, Ashvik, Rishwik, and Amandeep walked into the gym, their footsteps heavy with the weight of concern. They immediately noticed the intensity with which Rudraksh was hitting the bag, his movements sharp and unyielding. It was clear that something had been bothering him for a while.

Rishwik, unable to contain his concern, rushed toward Rudraksh and grabbed his hand, trying to get his attention. But when Rudraksh turned to face him, his glare was enough to freeze Rishwik in his tracks. His eyes were fiery, glowing with the intensity of his anger. The deep red in them only amplified the dangerous look he gave Rishwik, a silent warning not to push him any further. Rishwik, taken aback by the depth of Rudraksh’s fury, held back, unsure of how to handle the situation. The air in the gym thickened with tension as the others silently observed, knowing that whatever had triggered this level of anger was something they would have to address carefully.

Rudraksh: "Not now chote."

(Not now, little one.)

Rishwik released his grip and stepped back, Rudraksh's breathing steady as he refocused. With a determined expression, he launched himself back into his assault on the punching bag, each strike fueled by frustration and a drive to release his pent-up energy.

Kartavya: "Rishi, utaar lene de use gussa, vo tabhi shanti se baat karega."

(Rishi, let him be angry for a bit, he’ll calm down and talk peacefully later.)

Rishwik: "But bhai, you know itna gussa bhai ke liye thik nahi hai."

(But bro, you know that too much anger is not good for him.)

Rudraksh: "Rishwik Malhotra, just goooo."

Rudraksh’s shout echoed through the room, sharp and raw, leaving Rishwik’s eyes wide with shock. The last time he had seen his brother this angry was years ago, and it was clear that something much deeper was bothering him now. Rishwik took a step back. The rest of the room fell silent, all eyes on Rudraksh. His entire focus was consumed by the punching bag, his fists flying with such intensity that it was as if he were trying to beat away the demons inside his mind. His body glistened with sweat, his T-shirt clinging tightly to his frame as beads of sweat dripped down his forehead, falling into his eyes. But he didn’t stop. His strikes were relentless, fueled by an unseen fury. His breathing grew more labored, and yet, he continued, as if trying to escape the overwhelming weight of whatever had taken hold of him.

The bag finally couldn’t withstand any more of his anger. With a final, brutal punch, it burst open, sand spilling onto the floor in a cascade. Rudraksh collapsed onto his knees, gasping for air, his body trembling from the exertion, his breaths coming in harsh, ragged gasps.

Kartavya, never one to stand by in such a moment, quickly stepped forward, a water bottle in hand. Without a word, he poured the entire contents of the bottle over Rudraksh, the cold water washing over him. Rudraksh didn’t flinch or react, lost in his own turmoil. He remained motionless, his eyes unfocused, his body still shaking. Rishwik was the next to move, his heart aching at the sight of his brother so broken. He ran toward him, grabbing a towel and gently wiping Rudraksh’s face and neck, his movements careful and soothing. He knew that the anger wasn’t just about the moment—it was something deeper, something that Rudraksh had been holding inside for too long. Ashvik, standing by, moved forward and grasped Rudraksh’s hand.

Ashvik: "Get up."

Rudraksh stood up. Ashvik gently guided her to sit on a nearby chair. Feeling suffocated, Rudraksh pulled his t-shirt off, trying to relieve the tension building inside him, his mind racing. His entire body was taut with tension, each muscle clenched as his chest heaved with heavy breaths. Sweat streamed down from his hair, tracing a path down his neck and chest, glistening over his toned abs. His veins were visibly throbbing, a testament to the anger coursing through his body, making his presence even more intense.

(Author: Readers ko thoda mast nazara de dete hai🤭🤭)

Ashvik: "Aman darwaza band karna."

(Aman, close the door.)

Amandeep quickly shut the gym door, ensuring privacy and silence within the space.

Ashvik: "Scream."

Rudraksh: "Ahhhhhhh."

Rudraksh let out a guttural scream, the pain in his head almost unbearable. He grabbed his temples, his fingers digging into his scalp as the throbbing ache intensified, leaving him momentarily disoriented and struggling to find control. They all gathered around him, their faces filled with concern and urgency. Each one of them silently trying to figure out how to help as Rudraksh's pained groans echoed in the room, the pain of his emotions.

Amandeep: "Bhai, itna gussa?? Doctor ne mana kiya hai aapko, itna gussa aapke liye achcha nahi hai."

(Bro, so much anger?? The doctor told you it's not good for you.)

Rudraksh: "Then what should I do??? Tell me, what should I do after knowing that my....."

Rudraksh stopped for a moment, his breathing ragged as he clenched his fists tightly, the tension in his body evident. His jaw was set, his entire frame trembling with a mix of frustration and pain.

Kartavya: "Shant hoja aur phir bata kya hua?"

(Calm down and then tell us what happened.)

Rudraksh: "Shant?? Kaise shant ho jau bhai??? Meri Ruhh ke sath kya hua ye jaan ke kaise shant ho jau main??"

(Calm?? How can I calm down, bro??? How can I calm down after knowing what happened to my Ruhh??)

They all exchanged puzzled looks, confusion clouding their expressions.

Amandeep: "Is it about yesterday’s incident?"

Rishwik: "Bhai, main un logo ko achche se batane wala hu ki actual ragging kya hai, kyu unhe Angel se panga nahi lena chahiye tha."

(Bro, I’m going to tell those people exactly what ragging is and why they should never mess with Angel.)

Rudraksh: "15 saal, sirf 15 saal ki thi meri Ruhh, when that Sachet Rathore tried to force himself in her."

(15 years, just 15 years old was my Ruhh, when that Sachet Rathore tried to force himself on her.)

All of them shut their eyes in frustration and anger.

Rishwik: "But bhai, we know about this, right? Angel’s Nima had written this in the letter, so why is it coming up all of a sudden now??"

Rudraksh: "Ruhh ne khud dasya mainu. Jis tarah usne dassya, usdi akhaan da darr, oh dard... Jaan to maar dunga main us Sachet Rathore nu. Chua kaise usne meri Ruhh nu."

(Ruhh told me herself. The way she told me, the fear in her eyes, that pain... I’ll kill that Sachet Rathore. How dare he touch my Ruhh?)

Now, everyone understood the depth of Rudraksh’s fury. Ashvik, feeling the weight of the situation, quietly sat beside him. His own eyes mirrored Rudraksh’s, burning with the same intensity of anger, as though sharing the pain and frustration in the air.

Ashvik: "aur kya kaha teddy ne??"

(And what else did Teddy say?)

Rudraksh: "Even that Vijaypratap, even he... he tried to molest..."

Rudraksh struggled to find the words to express the deep sorrow he felt for Ruhanika, knowing the pain she had endured. His heart ached as he thought about her suffering, and a single tear slipped down his cheek, a silent testament to the anguish he couldn’t put into words. The others, seeing his distress, grew equally angry, their fists clenched in frustration. Kartavya, sensing the inner turmoil in Rudraksh, stepped forward without hesitation. He placed a hand on Rudraksh's shoulder, offering silent support. Understanding the weight of the moment, Rudraksh, overcome with emotion, hugged Kartavya tightly around the waist.

Rudraksh: "Vo toh kuch janti bhi nahi hai bhai, itni masoom hai aur un haiwaan logo ne uske sath...."

(He doesn’t even know anything, bro. She is so innocent and those beasts did that to her...)

Kartavya: "Har ek ka hisaab hoga Rudra."

(Everyone will get what they deserve, Rudra.)

Ashvik: "Kab bhai kab, main aur nahi ruk sakta, abhi hi jaake un sabki jaan lelunga."

(When, bro, when? I can’t wait any longer. I’ll go and take their lives right now.)

Ashvik, unable to hold back any longer, stood up abruptly, his voice rising in fury as he shouted. The anger that had been simmering within him burst forth, his words sharp and filled with an undeniable force. Rudraksh, matching his friend’s intensity, also stood up, his body stiff with the same determination.

Rudraksh: "Ashvik thik keh raha hai, koi zarurat nahi hai ye sab badla lene ki, ab sidha faisla hoga."

(Ashvik is right, no need to take revenge. Now, we’ll go straight to the decision.)

Just as Ashvik and Rudraksh were about to charge forward, their steps halted when Kartavya, stepped in and firmly held both their hands.

Kartavya: "Aur tere parents ka kya Ashvik??"

(And what about your parents, Ashvik??)

Rudraksh and Ashvik both turned towards Kartavya.

Kartavya: "Unke murder ka kya?? Kya vo nahi janna tujhe??"

(What about their murder?? Don’t you want to think about that??)

Amandeep: "Aur bhai, Ruhi khud uska badla legi, ye decide Kiya tha na."

(And bro, Ruhi will take her own revenge, remember? That was the decision.)

Rishwik: Haa bhai, now Angel is capable of protecting herself and getting her revenge.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, ab un logo ki shakal tak nahi dekhna chahti.... Isiliye jo karna hai hume hi karna hai, us naadan ko lagta hai uske shiv ji sabka hisaab karenge"

(Ruhh doesn’t even want to see their faces anymore... So, whatever needs to be done, we’ll have to do it. She thinks her lord Shiva will give her justice)

Kartavya: "Tum dono pehle shant ho jao, phir discuss karte hai."

(You both calm down first, then we can discuss.)

Rishwik: "Vaise bhi itni asaan maut nahi milegi un logo ko."

(Anyway, those people won’t get an easy death.)

Amandeep: "maut ke liye bhi tarsennge vo log, tadpa tadpa ke marenge, ek ek sans ke liye tarsa denge."

(They’ll beg for death, suffer in pain, and die slowly, gasping for every breath.)

Rudraksh: "Apni zindagi pe afsos hoga un logo ko, meri Ruhh ko insaaf zarur milega."

(Those people will regret their lives. My Ruhh will get justice.)

Ashvik: "Apne haathon se marunga sabko."

(I’ll kill them all with my own hands.)

Kartavya: "Shant ho jao aur baitho abhi sab ke sab."

(Calm down and sit, everyone.)

After a thorough discussion with everyone, Rudraksh made his way to the gym cupboard, his mind still processing the events and his lingering anger. He grabbed a vest, wiped his body with a towel, and put it on, making sure he appeared calm. He didn’t want Ruhanika to witness his frustration, especially when all he longed for was her peaceful presence, his Sukoon his Ruhh.

Once he was ready, he left the gym and walked toward his room, his mood shifting as he neared her. As he entered, he saw Ruhanika snuggled in bed, just waking up. The sight of her, peaceful and still, made a smile spread across his face. His anger seemed to dissipate as he took in the warmth of the moment, grateful to be near her.

Rudraksh: "Good morning, Ruhh."

Ruhanika smiled softly, still nestled comfortably in the bed, and began singing gently.

Ruhanika: "Tujhpe hi tikti hai humari nazariya, tujhpe hi, Tujhpe hi tikti hai humari nazariya, tujhpe hi."

(Our gaze is fixed on you, on you alone.)

Rudraksh smiled softly, feeling the warmth of Ruhanika’s presence as his previously red eyes, from anger, now flushed with a soft hue of blush. His cheeks turned red as he moved toward the closet, ready to change and settle down for the night. But just as he took a step, he paused, his heart skipping a beat when he heard her next words. The sound of her voice, mixed with the tenderness in her tone, stopped him in his tracks.

Ruhanika: "arehh theher theher, zara bhar le nazariya, tohe dekhan de, dekhan de."

(Wait, wait, let me take a good look at you.)

Rudraksh's smile grew wider as he quickly made his way to the bed, his steps light with excitement. In one smooth motion, he hopped onto the bed, hovering over Ruhanika with a playful gleam in his eyes. Ruhanika couldn’t help but giggle as he caged her in the blanket, his actions tender but full of mischief. He then began rubbing his beard against her face and neck, the soft scratchiness making her laugh even harder. Ruhanika wiggled beneath him, trying to escape his playful assault, but her laughter only grew, filling the room with warmth and joy.

Rudraksh: "Ha toh kya keh rahi thi aap Mallika-e-Aksh??"

(So, what were you saying, Mallika-e-Aksh?)

Ruhanika: "Areh areh na karna mohe tang hooo"

(Hey hey, don’t tease me.)

Rudraksh chuckled softly, the sound warm and affectionate, as he leaned in and rubbed his face gently against her neck.

Rudraksh: "Tang karne ka tose naata hai gujariya, tang karne ka"

(Teasing is my right, my dear, teasing is.)

Rudraksh and Ruhanika shared a glance, both unable to contain their laughter. The room filled with their lighthearted chuckles. He then showered her face with a series of sweet, gentle morning kisses, each one bringing out a soft giggle from her as she smiled, feeling the warmth of his love.

Ruhanika: "Areh hume bhi karna hai aapko, hume nikaliye isme se. "

(Hey, I also want to do it to you, get me out of this.)

Rudraksh noticed how her hands were trapped under the blanket, unable to move freely. A mischievous smirk curled on his lips as he looked at her, his eyes sparkling with playful intent. Ruhanika caught the gleam in his eyes and immediately understood—something mischievous was brewing in his mind. She raised an eyebrow, preparing for whatever playful trouble he was about to stir up.

Ruhanika: "Nahii, aap aisa kuch nahi karenge. Hum thode se naraz ho jayenge"

(No, you’re not going to do anything like that. I’ll get a little upset.)

Rudraksh: "Hum thoda sa mana lenge aapko."

(I’ll convince you a little.)

Ruhanika: "Aap aisa nahi kar sakte hai humare sath."

(You can’t do that to mee)

Rudraksh: "Hum aisa hi karenge."

(I’ll do it anyway.)

Rudraksh winked at her, his playful grin widening before his fingers started to tickle her sides. Ruhanika's laughter erupted uncontrollably as she squirmed, her face flushing bright red from both the laughter and the surprise. She tried to wriggle away, but his hold was firm, and he kept teasing her, enjoying the sound of her infectious laughter.

Ruhanika: "Hum...are p...pet me d..ard ho raha hai."

(I... oh, my... my stomach hurts.)

Rudraksh immediately stopped, his gaze shifting to her as he noticed her face flushed with laughter and a cute pout forming due to her helplessness. His heart melted at the sight. He chuckled softly, leaned in, and kissed her forehead gently, his love for her evident in the tender moment.

Rudraksh: "Kya mera betu thoda sa naraz hai??"

( Is my little one upset??)

Ruhanika didn’t say a word and turned her face away, her cheeks still flushed from the laughter. Rudraksh couldn’t help but chuckle at her cute antics. With a soft grin, he leaned on his elbow, resting his head on his palm, and laid beside her.

Rudraksh: "Baat nahi kar raha, matlab mera betu zyada wala naraz hai, hai na??"

(Not talking, which means my little one is really upset, right??)

Ruhanika simply nodded, and though Rudraksh was tempted to laugh at her antics, he held it in, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips as he admired her playful demeanor.

Rudraksh: "Matlab ab hume Mallika-e-Aksh ko zyada wala manana padega??"

(So now, I’ll have to convince Mallika-e-Aksh even more??)

Ruhanika's eyes sparkled with excitement, and she nodded eagerly, looking at him with hopeful anticipation.

Rudraksh: "Aur kya karna hoga aapko manane ke liye??"

(And what will you make me do to convince you??)

Ruhanika: "Sab hum batayenge toh aap kya karenge?? Chane chilenge??"

(If I tell you everything, what will you do? Peel chickpeas??)

Ruhanika glared at Rudraksh, her eyes narrowing in playful annoyance, and he couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction.

Rudraksh: "Actually good idea Ruhh, main chane chilunga, aur tum uski sabzi bana dena."

(Actually, good idea, Ruhh, I’ll peel chickpeas, and you can make the curry.)

Rudraksh said with a soft chuckle, kissing her face as he gently squeezed her. He couldn't help himself—he just loved to cuddle her, to hold her close, and shower her with affection.

Ruhanika: "Aapne abhi hume isme se nikala nahi na, toh phir hum aapke manane pe bhi nahi manenge, pure 1 ghante ke liye."

(If you don’t get me out of this, I won’t forgive you, for an hour.)

Ruhanika's frustration grew as Rudraksh laughed at her, but his amusement only made her more determined to stay upset. She pouted, making him chuckle even harder.

Rudraksh: "Naraz hone me bhi time limit set kiya hua hai tumne Ruhh."

(You’ve set a time limit for being upset, Ruhh.)

Ruhanika: "do ghante"

(2 hours.)

Rudraksh again laughed, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he looked at Ruhanika, enjoying the playful moment they shared.

Ruhanika: "teen"

(Three.)

Rudraksh chuckled.

Rudraksh: "Achcha baba sorry, nikal raha hu wait."

(Okay, okay, sorry, I’m leaving now. Wait.)

Rudraksh sat up properly, a playful grin still on his face as he gently removed the blanket from around Ruhanika. However, as soon as the blanket was off, she swiftly pushed him back and hovered over him, her eyes sparkling with mischief. Before he could react, she began showering his face with soft, feather-light kisses, making him giggle uncontrollably.

Laughing, he tried to squirm away, but Ruhanika was quick to rub her face on his neck and face, mimicking his earlier actions. However, as she rubbed against him, the tickling sensation of his beard made her burst into giggles, unable to escape the playful sensation.

Rudraksh, completely captivated by her laughter and energy, wrapped his arms around her, pulling her tightly into a warm, loving embrace. The moment was filled with joy and affection as they both laughed, enjoying the closeness and the playful exchange.

Rudraksh: "Mallika-e-Aksh maan gayi??"

(Did Mallika-e-Aksh agree??)

Ruhanika cupped his face gently, rubbing her nose against his with a tender smile. Rudraksh’s heart fluttered as he returned her smile, feeling the warmth of her affection.

Ruhanika: "Hum maane nahi hai abhi."

(I haven’t agreed yet.)

Rudraksh: "Itna prem karne ke baad bhi nahi??"

(After all this love, you still won’t agree??)

Ruhanika: "Haa toh prem aayega toh karenge na, iska matlab ye thodi ki Maan jayenge hum?? Hume maanne ke liye kuch dijiye toh sahi tabhi manenge na."

(Yeah, love will come, but that doesn’t mean we’ll agree. You have to give us something to agree to, only then we’ll agree.)

Rudraksh chuckled softly as he caressed her waist under her shirt.

Rudraksh: "Coffee date or dinner date??"

Ruhanika: "Coffee date followed by dinner."

Ruhanika grinned even wider as Rudraksh poked her dimples, her eyes sparkling with playful joy. She let out a soft giggle, and before she could react, he kissed her dimples, making her blush slightly.

Rudraksh: "Done."

Ruhanika grinned mischievously, but then her expression shifted to a glare as she sat back down on the bed. Rudraksh, now confused, sat beside her.

Rudraksh: "Ab main kya galti kar di Ruhh??"

(What mistake did I make now, Ruhh?)

Ruhanika: "Gym se aa rahe hai na?"

(You came from the gym, right?)

Rudraksh nodded.

Ruhanika: "Hume nahi leke gaye, kal bhi yahi Kiya tha."

(You didn’t take me with you, just like yesterday.)

Rudraksh, realizing his mistake, quickly held his ears in a playful gesture of apology. His sincere yet humorous action made Ruhanika giggle.

Rudraksh: "Sorry jaana."

Ruhanika: "Areh hum mazaak kar rahe the."

(Oh, I was just joking.)

Both of them continued to giggle, Rudraksh flicked her nose gently, causing her to wrinkle it in mock annoyance.

Rudraksh: "Rishi aur baaki sab ab bhi vahi hai."

(Rishi and the others are still there.)

Rudraksh looked at her in surprise as she suddenly stood up on the bed, her excitement radiating through her. He raised an eyebrow, wondering what was going on.

Ruhanika: "Hum jaake Rishi Bhai ka protein shake pite hai, aur bhai sa ke uper baith te hai."

(I’ll go and drink Rishi Bhaiya’s protein shake and sit on him.)

Rudraksh facepalmed himself, shaking his head in disbelief at her excitement.

Rudraksh: "Ashvik aur Aman ko kyu chodna, unke bhi pareshan Karo."

(Why spare Ashvik and Aman? Trouble them too.)

Ruhanika: "Toh bhaiyu ko Chuha bhaiya bolenge aur Aman ke phone se Avyuu ko message karke pareshan karenge aur naam Aman bhaiya pe aayega."

(Then I’ll call Bhaiyu "Mouse Bhaiya" and use Aman Bhaiya’s phone to message Avyuu, so Aman Bhaiya gets the blame.)

She giggled at her own thoughts and ran from there.

Rudraksh: "Jaana sambhal ke."

(Be careful, my love.)

He chuckled at her enthusiasm, shaking his head in amusement, before heading off to freshen up.

In Kritika's room,

The girl slept soundly on her stomach, the peaceful silence was broken by the sound of her phone ringing. She groaned softly, still half asleep, as she shifted on the bed, her face pressed into the pillow.

Kritika: "Kon bewakoof subah subah phone kar raha hai."

(Who’s the idiot calling me so early in the morning?)

Kritika stretched her arms lazily, her hand fumbling under the pillow to find her phone. When she saw the name flashing on the screen, a small smile tugged at her lips. "Ziddi Doctor," it read. She rolled her eyes playfully.

Kritika: "Bewakoof sahi kaha maine."

(Idiot is the right word.)

Kritika closed her eyes, still trying to fight off the remnants of sleep, and picked up the call. She placed the phone on her ear.

Kritika: "Hello."

In her sleepy voice, Kritika mumbled.

Aakarsh: "Hayyyy, subah subah meethiye aapki meethi nind wali awaaz, Mera toh din ban gaya."

(Ahh, hearing your sweet morning voice has made my day.)

Kritika: "Agar isiliye call Kiya hai then bye."

(If that’s the reason you called, then bye.)

Aakarsh: "Areh nahi nahi, main keh raha tha be ready at 4 in the evening, hum amusement park chalenge."

(No, no! I was saying, be ready at 4 in the evening; we’re going to the amusement park.)

Kritika: "Whatt??"

Kritika rubbed her eyes, fully waking up now, and sat up in bed.

Aakarsh: "Haa yaar pari sorry actually 3 baje tak mere patients lined up hai isiliye thoda late."

(Yeah, dear, sorry. My patients are lined up until 3 PM, so I’ll be a bit late.)

Kritika: "Vo nahi idiot, amusement park kyu jaana hai?? Tum bachche ho??"

(Not that, idiot. Why are we going to an amusement park? Are you a kid?)

Aakarsh: "Konsi book me likha hai sirf bachche jaate hai vaha??"

(Which book says only kids can go there?)

Kritika: "Whatever main nahi aane wali."

(Whatever. I’m not coming.)

Aakarsh: "please na meethiye please, yaar ab main tumhe zabardasti leke jaunga achcha lagega kya?? Kartavya bhai kya sochenge mere bare me?"

(Please, sweetheart, please. If I forcefully take you, will that look good? What will Kartavya Bhai think of me?)

Kritika: "Main nahi aayi toh zabardasti leke jaoge??"

(If I don’t come, you’ll forcefully take me?)

Aakarsh: "Haa aur kya, tumhe kya laga tum mana karogi aur main Maan jaunga?? Itna achcha nahi hu main."

(Of course! What did you think? You’d say no, and I’d agree? I’m not that nice.)

Kritika: "Tum zara bhi achche nahi ho."

(You’re not nice at all.)

Aakarsh: "Thank you for the compliment, but be ready at 4 PM. I’ll be there."

Kritika: "Fine. Now bye."

Aakarsh: "Achcha suno na."

(Wait, listen.)

Kritika: "Ab kya hai?"

(What now?)

Aakarsh: "Kya pehnogi??"

(What will you wear?)

Kritika's irritation grew as she her sleep had been interrupted. |

Kritika: "Kuch nahi aise hi aaungi."

(Nothing. I’ll come just like this.)

Aakarsh: "Areh nahi nahi please, ye sab baadme abhi toh thik nahi lagega, baadme nahi rokunga pakka, par sirf mere samne."

(No, no! Please, not right now. That won’t seem appropriate. Later, I won’t stop you. Promise, but only in front of me)

Kritika's eyes widened in shock and disbelief at his shameless words. She blinked a few times, trying to process what she had just heard.

Kritika: "You cheap, pervert, ghatiya aadmi."

(You cheap, perverted, disgusting man.)

Aakarsh: "waah ji, aisi baatein aap kare aur ghatiya main??"

(Wow, you’re saying such things, and I’m the disgusting one?)

Kritika: "Tum Milo bas aaj, nahi tumhari akkal thikane layi toh kehna."

(Just wait until we meet today. If I don’t set you straight, then say so.)

Aakarsh: "Main kaha mana kar raha hu, main toh chahta hu ki mari akkal thikane lane ka licence sirf aapke pass ho."

(I’m not stopping you! In fact, I want the license to set me straight to belong only to you.)

Kritika felt a flush of warmth spread across her cheeks, unable to control the blush that crept up at his bold words.

Kritika: "Rakho phone ab."

(Hang up now.)

Aakarsh: "Damn, I missed seeing that blushing face."

Kritika: "Urrgh, idiot."

Aakarsh's chuckle lingered in her mind as she ended the call, a soft smile still playing on her lips. She glanced at her phone and couldn't help but smile wider at the pictures from their dinner date the previous night.

Kritika: "Mental hospital me bhi tumhare jitna mental nahi milega koi, Mera pagal doctor."

(No one in a mental hospital could be as crazy as you, my insane doctor.)

She pressed a kiss to her phone before heading to the closet. After picking out an outfit for the evening, she sent him a text, knowing he wanted to match his outfit with hers. Aakarsh, upon receiving the message, couldn't contain his excitement and shouted out loud in his hospital cabin.

Aakarsh: "Bahaut jaldi hi aapko apne dil ki baat bata dunga meethiye, umeed hai aapke man me bhi yahi ho."

(Very soon, I’ll confess my feelings to you, sweetheart. I just hope your heart feels the same way.)

He smiled brightly, his excitement growing as he took the photo frame from his desk. The frame held a picture of Kritika, her smile capturing a moment of pure happiness. He kissed the frame gently, then hugged it close to his chest, his heart racing in anticipation for their upcoming amusement park date.
