Mafia King's innocent biwi
"Barso se dil me dabe zakhmo ko aaj kuch rahat mili,
Teri baahon ki panah me ek nayi chahat mili,
Jo dard ki cheekhein thi seene me dabi, beh gayi aaj vo ashkon me,
Kuch is tarah zindagi me teri mohabbat mili"

(Rudraksh)
Rudraksh and Rishwik entered the canteen and spotted Riyanshi and Ruhanika engaged in a deep conversation. Their expressions were animated, indicating an interesting discussion between them.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, betu ghar chale??"
(Ruhh, sweetheart, shall we go home?)
Ruhanika turned around and smiled warmly upon seeing Rishwik and Rudraksh standing behind them.
Ruhanika: "Abhi?? Par hume Riyu se aur baatein karni hai."
(Right now? But I still have to talk to Riyu)
Riyanshi: "Mujhe bhi bhabhi se baatein karni hai."
(I also want to talk to Bhabhi.)
Rishwik: "Tumhe Angel se baatein nahi karni hai, tumhe bakwas karni hai."
(You donât want to talk to Angel, you just want to chatter nonsense.)
Riyanshi: "Dekha bhabhi maine kaha tha na ye pareshan karte hai mujhe, ye aise hi karte hai."
(See, Bhabhi! I told you, they always trouble me like this!)
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai, ye galat baat hai aise nahi karte na, Riyu ko baatein hi toh karni hai."
(Rishi Bhai, this is wrong. You shouldn't do that. Riyu just wants to talk.)
Rishwik: "Bhai zara puchna toh dono kya baatein kar rahi thi."
(Brother, just ask them what exactly they were talking about.)
Rudraksh: "Sohneyo, ki gal kar rahi si tussi??"
(Sweethearts, what were you talking about?)
Ruhanika: "Yahi ki humare 6 bachche honge aur Riyu ke 8 bachche."
(That I will have six kids, and Riyu will have eight kids.)
Rudraksh's eyes widened in shock, his expression shifting as he processed what he had just heard.
Rudraksh: "Whatttt??"
Rishwik: "Exactly bhai, yehi pagalpan chalu hai dono ka."
(Exactly, Bhai! This is the nonsense they are discussing.)
Riyanshi: "Areh future planning me pagalpan kaisa??"
(How is future planning nonsense?)
Rishwik: "Tum toh paidaishi pagal ho tum chup hi raho, varna utha ke fek dunga."
(You were born crazy, so just stay quiet, or else I'll pick you up and throw you away.)
Riyanshi shot him a sharp glare, her eyes filled with annoyance as she silently expressed her disapproval.
Ruhanika: "Haww Rishi Bhai galat baat, aur vaise bhi bachche toh bhagwan ki dein hote hai ab chahe 8 ho ya 18."
(Haww! Rishi Bhai, thatâs wrong! And anyway, children are God's gift, whether itâs eight or eighteen.)
Riyanshi: "Main bhi yahi samjhati hu, par ye Rishu kishhu na su..."
(Thatâs exactly what I keep trying to explain! But Rishh never li...)
Without a word, Rudraksh and Rishwik effortlessly lifted Ruhanika and Riyanshi into their arms, catching them off guard. Before the girls could protest, the two men started walking in opposite directionsâRishwik carried Riyanshi toward the parking lot to drop her off, while Rudraksh took Ruhanika towards his cabin.
As Ruhanika nestled in Rudrakshâs arms, her eyes wandered around the office space. Thatâs when she caught sight of a particular cabin with a familiar nameplateâAshvikâs Cabin. Her curiosity piqued instantly, and she glanced up at Rudraksh.
Ruhanika: "Akkshhh Akshhh, hume utariye na hum bhaiyu se milke aate hai dekhiye unka cabin."
(Akshhh! Akshhh! Take me down, I want to go meet Bhaiyu! Look, thatâs his cabin!)
Rudraksh glanced at her and, without a word, gently took her to his cabin, leaving her utterly confused. Once inside, he guided her toward the couch and carefully made her sit, his expression unreadable.
Ruhanika: "Aksh, vo bhaiyu ka cabin."
(Aksh, thatâs Bhaiyuâs cabin!)
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, main kuch batane ja raha hu, kyuki tumne pata hona chahiye par tum tensed nhi hona samjhi."
(Ruhh, Iâm about to tell you something because you should know, but you must not get tensed, understand?)
Ruhanika nodded, still confused by his actions. Rudraksh gently took her hand in his and began caressing it softly, his touch filled with warmth and reassurance.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, Ashvik ab RM empires me kaam nahi karta hai."
(Ruhh, Ashvik no longer works at RM Empires.)
Ruhanika: "Toh kaha karte hai??"
(Then where does he work now?)
Rudraksh: "Rathore Industries. He took over Rathore Industries, and now he is the owner and chairperson of the company."
Ruhanikaâs eyes widened in surprise, and her breath became shallow as a wave of realization washed over her, her heart racing slightly. Noticing her unease, Rudraksh immediately pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her protectively. He hugged her tightly, his hand gently rubbing her back in a soothing gesture, trying to calm her nerves.
Rudraksh: "Meri puri baat suno Ruhh, calm down first."
(Listen to me completely, Ruhh. First, calm down.)
Ruhanika: "Bhai..iyu kyu gaye vaha.. mama.. unhe bhi b..ura bo..lenge, bura karenge."
(Bhai⦠why did Bhaiyu go there? Mama⦠they'll also speak badly about him⦠theyâll do bad things.)
Rudraksh: "Shh Ruhh, calm down main hu na."
(Shh, Ruhh. Calm down, Iâm here.)
Rudraksh continued to gently caress her hand, whispering sweet nothings in a soothing tone. Gradually, Ruhanikaâs tension melted away, her nerves calming in the comfort of his touch and words.
Rudraksh: "Betu see tumne kaha tha na ki main aur Ashvik jo karenge thik hi hoga."
(Sweetheart, remember you once said that whatever Ashvik and I do, it will be right?)
Ruhanika nodded, her expression softening as she took in his words and the comfort he was offering.
Rudraksh: "Ye bhi kuch aisa hi hai, aur tum janti ho na is company ke legal owners toh vaise bhi tum aur Ashvik hi the."
(This is one of those things. And you already know that legally, the owners of this company were always you and Ashvik.)
Ruhanika: "Haa Varna company trust ko chali jati."
(Yes, otherwise, the company would have gone to the trust.)
Rudraksh: "Exactly isiliye Ashvik ne bas apna haq liya hai aur koi kuch nahi kar sakta use, you trust me na??"
(Exactly! Thatâs why Ashvik just claimed his right, and now no one can do anything to him. You trust me, donât you?)
Ruhanika nodded.
Ruhanika: "Phir bhi hume chinta ho Rahi hai."
(Still, Iâm worried.)
Rudraksh: "Chinta nahi karo betu, Ashvik sambhal lega sab kuch, infact sambhal liya hi hai, aur tumhare us Kans mama ko bhi theek karega."
(Donât worry, sweetheart. Ashvik will handle everythingâin fact, he already has. And he will also take care of that Kans Mama of yours.)
Ruhanika: "Bhaiyu ko kuch nahi hoga na, hum unhe nahi kho sakte hai."
(Nothing will happen to Bhaiyu, right? I canât afford to lose him.)
Rudraksh: "Kuch nahi hoga Ashvik ko, I promise."
(Nothing will happen to Ashvik. I promise.)
Rudraksh kissed Ruhanika's forehead gently, holding her in a comforting embrace as he tried to ease her worries. That night, after dinner, Ruhanika felt restless, her emotions still stirred up. She sought solace in Ashvik's presence, sitting with him for an entire hour, just wrapped in a comforting hug. Ashvik, sensing her distress, stroked her hair softly, reassuring her that everything would be fine and that he would handle whatever concerns she had. His calm demeanor helped ease her, and soon, she was able to relax, her breathing steadying as she finally drifted off to sleep. Once Ruhanika was peacefully asleep, Rudraksh carefully lifted her, cradling her gently in his arms. He quietly took her to their room, ensuring she was comfortable and at ease, knowing that she would feel safe with him by her side.
In Mexico,
Amandeep, accompanied by his group of men, reached an old, desolate building on the outskirts of the city, after navigating through a dense forest. The atmosphere was eerie and isolated, with the building standing quietly in the middle of nowhere.
Amandeep: "Search the place thoroughly."
Amandeep's men nodded in unison, their expressions serious as they drew their guns, ready for whatever they might find. With precise coordination, they began searching the place, their eyes scanning every corner for any clues. After a thorough search, they came upon a door. One of them carefully opened it, revealing a staircase that descended into the depths below. They proceeded cautiously, their steps echoing in the silence.
As they reached the bottom and pushed open another door, their eyes widened in shock. The underground area was nothing like they had expected. Instead of hidden weapons or illegal activities, they found rows of iron racks, all stacked with numerous files. The sight was perplexing; the racks were filled with well-organized documents, but the significance of the files remained unclear. They exchanged confused glances, wondering what they had stumbled upon.
Amandeep: "Search each and every file. If anything looks suspicious, report it to me."
Amandeepâs men nodded in agreement and began sifting through the piles of files scattered around the room. As Amandeep glanced at the contents, he quickly realized that the files contained data spanning the last 50 years, a treasure trove of information that could be crucial to their mission.
Amandeep: "50 years ka data koi kyu sambhal ke rakhega??"
(Why would someone keep data from 50 years ago?)
Amandeep furrowed his brows in confusion as he flipped through the files, his eyes scanning each page. His attention suddenly shifted when he came across a particular file labeled "2007." Intrigued, he carefully opened it, sensing that this file might hold important information.
Amandeep: "2007?? Vahi saala jab vo haadsa and Ruhi and Ashvik bhai ke parents ki bhi death huyi thi."
(2007?? Thatâs the same year when that incident happened⦠and when Ruhi and Ashvik Bhaiâs parents passed away.)
Amandeep opened the file and began reading, his gaze quickly shifting from curiosity to shock as he processed the information inside. His eyes widened, his hands gripping the file tightly. A mix of anger and disbelief filled him, and his eyes began to glow with a fiery red hue, his emotions simmering dangerously.
Amandeep: "Search all files related to the year 2007."
After thoroughly searching the entire building, Amandeep and his men stepped out, their expressions grim. They had uncovered enough to know that the situation was more complicated than they had anticipated, and their next move was critical.
Amandeep: "Be prepared, guys. We canât miss even the smallest piece of information from tonightâs party. Be alert and keep an eye on every single member."
Andrew: "But sir, how can they even organize such a Mafia party without informing Rudraksh Sir?"
Amandeep: "They are just the Mexican Mafia, but even they havenât informed the American Mafia. They will have to pay for this. Letâs go."
They left the place, their footsteps echoing in the quiet surroundings as they made their way back.
At night, Hotel Mexico grand,
Amandeep and his men blended seamlessly into the crowd at the mafia party, disguised as bartenders and other staff members. Their eyes never left the entrance, vigilantly observing everyone who stepped into the venue. Amandeep recognized some of the faces, but the presence of certain individuals sent a wave of unease through him. Being at this party, alongside these dangerous figures, meant betraying Rudrakshâa betrayal Amandeep could never tolerate.
As he moved through the crowd, Amandeepâs gaze fell on one particularly notorious mafia member. With calculated precision, he approached the man, making sure to remain unnoticed. As the man was focused on his conversation, Amandeep swiftly and deliberately poured a glass of juice onto him, ensuring it spilled all over his clothes. The mafia member, caught off guard, cursed under his breath, glaring at Amandeep.
Amandeep: "Iâm so sorry, sir⦠Sorry!"
Amandeep began carefully cleaning the man's blazer, his movements deliberate and focused.
Man: "You idiot! What have you done? JM Sir is about to arrive, and you messed this up, fool!"
Amandeep: "Sorry, sir!"
Man: "Leave!"
Amandeep: "Sir, let meâ"
Man: "I said LEAVE!"
Amandeep watched the man storm off toward the washroom, frustration written on his face. With a satisfied smirk, Amandeep knew exactly what he had just done. He had cleverly placed a small microphone chip in the man's blazer pocket while pouring the juice on him, ensuring he would be able to hear everything the man discussed.
As the evening wore on, more and more people made their way toward a particular room in the venue. Amandeep tried to get close, but the situation was too risky. He couldnât afford to be caught, not when he had already infiltrated the party with such precision. The last thing he wanted was to draw attention to himself and compromise his position.
Without delay, he made his exit. Moving swiftly and discreetly, he joined his men, leaving the venue undetected. Once in the car, he let out a small breath of relief and reached into his bag for a set of headphones. Connecting them to the microphone chip, he pressed play, his fingers tight around the steering wheel as he listened intently to the conversation taking place in the room.
The voices came through clear, their plans unfolding in real-time. Amandeepâs mind raced as he took in every word. He couldnât afford to miss a single detail. Every piece of information could be critical. He would be ready to act as soon as he had all the answers.
Man 1: "JM, why have you planned this sudden meeting, and that too in the guise of a party?"
Man 2: "Yes, JM, the shipments for this year have already been done, so why?"
Man 3: "Donât tell me you want to stop that blast in Europe."
JMâs Assistant: "Shut up, everyone, and let Sir speak."
The group fell silent, an eerie stillness settling around them. Amandeep, still processing the situation, frowned, his confusion growing.
JM: "JM never plans anything without reason. The meeting is disguised as a party because someone is trying to reach us."
Man 2: "Us? As in the Mexican Mafia?"
Man 1: "But why? And how?"
JM: "Do you all know Leo?"
Man 3: "Leo, the Mafia King?"
JM nodded.
Man 4: "Yes, we know of him, but weâve never seen him."
Man 1: "Iâve seen him. Only Indians connected to the Mafia have seen him. Other Mafia groups have never seen him in person."
JM: "Yes, that Leo. His real name is Rudraksh Malhotra. We need to dig into his background."
Man 2: "But why? Itâs dangerous!"
Man 3: "He never forgives sinners. As far as I know, he is insane. Even the former Asian Mafia King is with him!"
JM: "If we donât investigate him, he will certainly investigate us."
Man 1: "But why?"
JM: "He is somehow connected to the blast we orchestrated 18 years ago in Rajasthan. If thatâs the case, he wonât spare us. And we all know we canât fight him. Itâs better to destroy all evidence related to that incident."
Man 2: "Understood. Weâll start immediately."
They all nodded in agreement, a silent understanding passing between them, and then turned to leave the area. The weight of the moment lingered in the air as they walked away, each lost in their own thoughts about what had transpired and what lay ahead.
JMâs Assistant: "Boss, why didnât you tell them the actual truth?"
JM: "Because no one else knows about the other incident. Only Vijaypratap and I planned everything under the guise of a Mafia attack. Everything was off the records."
The person whose blazer Amandeep had placed the microphone in was JM's assistant. This assistant had arrived earlier than JM to ensure everything was in order.
JM: "Now go, change, and burn these clothes. We canât trust anyone here. And get me a fresh set of clothes."
JM's assistant nodded and quickly left, disappearing into the distance. Meanwhile, Amandeep, feeling the weight of the situation and his growing frustration, placed the headphones back on. Unable to contain his anger, he punched the car window in a fit of rage. The force of the impact caused a sharp crack to form in the glass, a visible manifestation of his inner turmoil.
Andrew: "Sir, calm down. At least we got something."
Amandeep: "Get the jet ready. Weâre leaving for India in the next hour. And yeah, weâre landing in Rajasthan. Iâll dig out all the information and then go to Rudraksh Bhai and Ashvik Bhai."
Andrew: "Sure, sir."
After an hour of simmering frustration, Amandeep gathered himself, his resolve hardening. He knew the next step was crucial. Without wasting any more time, he left for Rajasthan, the destination that held the answers he was seeking, and possibly the next phase of his plan.
The next day at RM Mansion,
A sense of anticipation hung in the air. It had been a week since Amandeep left, and tonight, he was expected to return. As the clock ticked, all of the men were gathered at Rishwikâs home office. They were aware that Amandeep's return would bring crucial updates, and the weight of the upcoming events loomed over them.
Rishwik: "Bhai jaisa Aman ne bataya vaisa koi JM ka data hai hi nahi Mafia records me."
(Bhai, just as Aman said, there is no record of JM in the Mafia's database.)
Ashvik: "Iska matlab unhone jo bhi kiya hai everything was against the Mafia protocol."
(That means whatever they did was entirely against Mafia protocol.)
Kartavya: "That's why neither I nor Dadu know about him, and even the American Mafia is clueless."
Rudraksh: "They have backstabbed their own continent. We can't take any action; we need to consult the American Mafia."
Rishwik: "Bhai Aman keh raha tha aur bhi bahaut si cheezein hai."
(Bhai, Aman was saying that thereâs a lot more to this.)
Rudraksh: "Aata hi hoga kuch der mein toh pata chalega."
(He must be arriving any moment now; weâll find out soon.)
The men nodded in unison, their expressions serious as they waited for Amandeep's return. Tension was thick in the air, each of them anxious for the next step. Meanwhile, Rishwik sat at his desk, fully focused on hacking into the CCTV footage of the hotel where the party had been held. His fingers moved quickly across the keyboard, determined to uncover any hidden details that might shed light on the mystery they were trying to solve.
Soon, Amandeep arrived, his face tense, signaling that something significant had happened during his trip. Without saying a word, he walked straight over to Rudraksh, handed him a file, and then moved to sit beside Kartavya. The room fell into a heavy silence, everyone waiting for Amandeep to speak, knowing that whatever was inside the file was bound to change the course of their plans.
Kartavya: "Ye kya hai Aman??"
(What is this, Aman?)
Amandeep: "Records of all the blasts that have occurred in Asia over the last 50 years."
Ashvik: "What??"
Amandeep: "Yes, everything was carried out solely by the Mexican Mafia, and even the American continent is unaware of this. They kept it so secret that it took me three days to reach that place."
Kartavya: "Rudraksh, anything suspicious?"
Rudraksh: "A blast on July 16, 2007."
Rishwik, Kartavya, and Amandeep exchanged concerned glances as they observed Rudraksh. His face remained a mask of cold, emotionless composure, but the trembling of his hands betrayed the storm brewing within him. His usual calm demeanor seemed to be breaking, as if the weight of the situation was finally getting to him.
Rishwikâs face was a tumult of emotions, his usually composed exterior shattered as a whirlwind of confusion, anger, and concern churned inside him. He couldn't fathom what had just transpired or what this meant for them all, but he knew that whatever it was, it wasn't good. Kartavya, who usually prided himself on staying calm in such moments, felt the tension in the air. His brow furrowed in worry, the unease growing heavier by the second. The stakes had just been raised, and he could feel the pressure mounting on all sides.
Amandeep, too, was not immune to the tense atmosphere. His normally stoic demeanor faltered slightly, his brows knitted in apprehension. He was trying to stay focused, but the intensity of the moment seemed to be pushing his resolve to the limit. And then there was Ashvik, who stood slightly apart, a confused expression clouding his face. He could sense the gravity of the situation, but the underlying emotions and the unspoken words left him struggling to understand what exactly was unfolding in front of him. The others were clearly reacting to something significant, but he couldnât grasp what it was. The uncertainty was unsettling.
Ashvik: "Kya hua aap sabko??"
(What happened to you all??)
Amandeep: It's the same date when⦠when that incident took place.
Ashvik's eyes widened in concern as he looked at Rudraksh and Rishwik, a look of worry etched across his face. The weight of Amandeep's arrival and the file he had handed over seemed to be dawning on him. Rudraksh blinked a few times, processing the sudden shift in the atmosphere, before refocusing on the file in his hands.
Rudraksh: "Okay, so they planned a terrorist attack in Ajmer. Then??"
Amandeep: "Bhai, all of this was done at night. They portrayed it as a terrorist attack, but it was all planned, and..."
Amandeep noticed Ashvikâs concerned expression and met his gaze. Ashvik frowned, clearly unsettled by the tension in the room and the unknown contents of the file. Amandeep remained silent for a moment, sensing the unease, before he spoke up.
Ashvik: "And??"
Amandeep: "And their main target was the Rajpurohit Palace."
Ashvikâs eyes widened in shock, his frown deepening as the weight of Amandeepâs words sank in.
Ashvik: "What do you mean, Aman???"
Ashvik stood up abruptly, his body tense and his voice trembling with vulnerability.
Amandeep:" Ashvik bhai, in that attack, the entire Rajpurohit Palace burned down, and no one survived."
Ashvik: "Noooooo!!"
Ashvik sank back onto the couch with a heavy thud, his shoulders slumped in defeat as the reality of the situation settled in. Kartavya and Rudraksh exchanged a glance before they both moved toward him, their expressions softening in sympathy. They placed reassuring hands on his back, offering silent support as Ashvik struggled to process the gravity of what was unfolding.
Kartavya: "Shhh, Ashvik, we knew something like this must have happened, right?"
Rudraksh: "You need to be strong, Ashu, at least for Ruhh, , tujhe sambhalna padega khudko."
(You have to hold yourself together.)
Ashvikâs eyes turned red and moist, betraying the vulnerability he had been trying to hold back. The weight of the situation, combined with the overwhelming uncertainty, left him feeling exposed and helpless.
Ashvik: "Main hi kyu yaar main hi kyu??? Ek aas se dundh raha tha ki shayad ek family hogi.... Vo aas bhi Tut gayi."
(Why me, yaar? Why always me?? I was searching with hope that maybe I had a family... but even that hope is shattered now.)
Ashvik rested his forehead gently on Rudraksh's shoulder, his body language showing a mix of exhaustion and vulnerability. Rudraksh, sensing his distress, wrapped his arms around him in a comforting hug, offering silent support and reassurance.
Ashvik: "Vo bechari meri teddy, use zara si Khushi dena chahta tha ki humari bhi koi family hai, par.."
(My poor Teddy, I just wanted to give her a little happiness, to let her know that we have a family too, but...)
Rudraksh: "Shhh bas bas."
(Shhh, thatâs enough.)
Kartavya: "Aur hum hai na Teri family Ashu, phir kaise aisi bakwas ki tune."
(And we are your family, Ashu. How can you say such nonsense?)
Ashvik held onto Rudraksh for a few minutes, finding solace in the embrace, his tears quietly falling. When he finally pulled back, he wiped his tears, taking a deep breath to regain his composure. His eyes were still filled with emotion, but he managed to stand tall.
Ashvik: "Aage bol Aman, main nahi chodunga ab kisi ko."
(Continue, Aman. I wonât spare anyone now.)
Amandeep: "JM, JM naam hai us insaan ka bhai jo Vijaypratap ki help kar raha hai aur Rajpurohit Palace pe attack bhi inhi dono ne karaya hai. and that's the reason Ajmer is under state government now."
(JM... JM is the name of the person who is helping Vijaypratap, and they both orchestrated the attack on Rajpurohit Palace.)
Rudraksh: "Ye JM hai kon, aur Mexican Mafia ne iska sath kyu diya??"
(Who is this JM, and why did the Mexican Mafia support him?)
Amandeep: "Nahi pata bhai but in dono ne kuch aur bhi kiya hai which is off the records, mexican Mafia ko bhi nahi pata hai ye baat."
(I donât know, bhai, but these two have done something else that is off the records. Even the Mexican Mafia isnât aware of it.)
Kartavya: "They have used them for their own benefit."
Amandeep: "Also I feel is JM ki awaaz suni hai bhai... I'm not able to recall but suni si lag rahi hai."
(Also, I feel like Iâve heard this JMâs voice before, bhai... I canât recall exactly, but it sounds familiar.)
Rishwik: "tune Micro chip se suna sab kuch, recordings hai??"
(Did you hear all this through the microchip? Do you have recordings?)
Amandeep nodded solemnly and handed the recordings over to Rishwik. Without a word, Rishwik played them, and the room fell into a tense silence as they all listened intently. Each person absorbed the contents, the gravity of the situation slowly sinking in as the recordings revealed more.
Rudraksh: "Ye awaaz toh clear nahi hai."
(The voice isnât clear.)
Rishwik: "Microchip hai bhai may be that's why aman ko live recording proper sunai di."
(The microchip is there, bhai. Maybe thatâs why Aman could hear the live recording properly.)
Amandeep: "Aur bhai, Mexico me ek ajeeb si jagah hai jaha last 50 years ka sara data hai but I got something more suspicious over there."
(And bhai, thereâs a strange place in Mexico where all the data from the last 50 years is stored, but I found something even more suspicious there.)
Kartavya: "What??"
Amandeep: "Drugs"
Ashvik: "Drugs??"
Amandeep: "Yes Bhai drugs, lab me testing ke liye diye hai ki exactly kya hai."
(Yes, bhai, drugs. They have been sent to the lab for testing to determine exactly what they are.)
Rishwik noticed that Rudraksh seemed distant, his gaze unfocused as he listened to the recordings. It was clear that his mind was elsewhere, lost in deep thought.
Rishwik: "Bhai??"
Rudraksh: "This is the same date when I met Ruhh, and two days later, we found Ashvik. And now, these drugs have come into the picture."
Kartavya: "Everything is definitely linked."
Rishwik: "That means this was the same day when Ashvik bhai and Angelâs parents died."
Ashvik shut his eyes tightly, as if trying to block out the overwhelming emotions. Despite his efforts, a lone tear slipped down his cheek, silently betraying the pain he was struggling to contain. His breath hitched slightly, but he quickly composed himself, wiping the tear away before anyone could notice.
Amandeep: "Bhai, even that incident took place on the same day... Ye kaise ho sakta hai I guess ye bhi zarur linked hai."
(How is that possible? I think this must also be linked.)
Rishwik: "Aman sahi keh raha hai bhai."
(Aman is right, bhai.)
Rudraksh turned his back to the others, hoping to conceal the emotions he was struggling to control. The weight of the situation was heavy on him, and he needed a moment of solitude. Just then, Kartavyaâs phone rang, breaking the silence. He quickly answered the call, his focus shifting to the conversation.
Kartavya: "Hello."
Kartavya spoke on the phone for a couple of minutes, his voice low and urgent, though no one could hear the details.
After finishing the call, he returned to the group.
Kartavya: "Rudraa, her condition is improving; she might regain consciousness soon."
Rishwik and Rudraksh exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with a mix of anticipation and relief. It was as if they had been waiting for this moment, and now, with Kartavya's return from the call, they had received the answer they were hoping for. Their expressions spoke volumes, a quiet understanding passing between them, even as the tension in the room remained palpable.
Rishwik: "Bhai Sach keh rahe ho??"
(Bhai, are you telling the truth??)
Kartavya: "Doctor ka hi phone tha Rishi, bas kuch waqt aur."
(It was the doctor's call, Rishi. Just a little more time.)
Rishwik couldn't hold back his emotions and immediately pulled Kartavya into a tight hug, the weight of the moment finally hitting him. Amandeep and Ashvik, witnessing the relief on Rishwik's face, smiled, their own hearts lightened by the good news. The atmosphere shifted, the tension easing slightly. Meanwhile, Rudraksh, feeling the surge of his own emotions, wiped away a single tear before quietly slipping out of the room.
Rishwik: "Bhaiiii"
As Rishwik took a step towards the door, intent on following Rudraksh, Kartavya placed a hand on his shoulder, stopping him. His grip was gentle but firm, as if he understood that Rudraksh needed space.
Rishwik paused, looking back at Kartavya with a mixture of concern and confusion.
Kartavya: "Jane de use, use abhi kisi aur ki zarurat hai."
(Let him be. He needs someone else right now.)
Rishwik nodded, the weight of the situation sinking in, and then hugged Kartavya once more, his emotions flooding through him. Kartavya, feeling the depth of the moment, turned to look at Amandeep. His eyes, usually so composed, now reflected a vulnerability that wasn't often seen. Amandeep, understanding the unspoken words in Kartavya's gaze, immediately stepped forward and embraced him. In that quiet, heartfelt hug, the bond between them strengthened, a silent support shared among them all.
Rudraksh hurriedly entered his room, his mind still racing with emotions. He swung the door open and found Ruhanika lying on the bed, sprawled out under the blanket, completely engrossed in her laptop. She was giggling softly at something on the screen, her smile bright and carefree, a stark contrast to the storm of thoughts brewing inside Rudraksh. He stood frozen for a moment, watching her, taking in the warmth of her presence before he finally moved to sit beside her on the bed.
Ruhanika: "Aap aa gaye, aaiye na hum kuch dikhate hai aapko"
(Youâre back! Come, I want to show you something.)
Rudraksh, overwhelmed by his emotions, walked over to Ruhanika without a word, gently placing her laptop aside. He then lay down, resting his head on her lap, pulling her close by wrapping his arms around her waist. He buried his face into her stomach, seeking comfort and solace. Ruhanika, initially startled by the sudden closeness, felt her confusion fade as her hands instinctively moved to his hair and shoulders, gently soothing him. She could feel the weight of his unspoken turmoil, and in that quiet moment, she knew he needed her more than ever.
Ruhanika: "Akshhhh"
Ruhanika felt a sudden dampness on her stomach, realizing that Rudrakshâs tears had soaked into her shirt. Her heart tightened with worry as she gently ran her hands over his back, trying to offer him comfort. She could feel the weight of his emotions in the way his body trembled slightly, and she whispered softly, her voice filled with concern.
Ruhanika: "Akshh aap ro rahe hai, kya hua hume bataiye."
(Akshh, youâre crying? What happened? Tell me.)
Rudraksh tightened his grip on her waist, pulling her closer, as he buried his face deeper into her stomach. The rawness of his emotions was palpable, and Ruhanika could feel the tension in his body. Her heart ached for him, knowing he was carrying something heavy. She bent down, brushing her lips gently against his head, offering him a soft kiss as a silent promise that she was there for him, no matter what. Her hand continued to caress his hair, the rhythm soothing, as she whispered.
Ruhanika: "Shhh bas bas, hum hai na aapke sath aapko darne ki zarurat nahi."
(Shhh, enough, enough. Iâm here with you. You donât need to be afraid.)
Rudraksh looked at Ruhanika and Ruhanika's heart sank as she looked at Rudraksh. His face was flushed red, his eyes puffy, and the vulnerability he wore made him seem like a child seeking comfort. The sight of him in such a raw, unguarded state tore at her heart. He looked so fragile, as if he was drowning in his emotions, needing the warmth and safety only a mother could provide. Without thinking, she gently cupped his face in her hands, her thumbs brushing away the tears that still clung to his skin.
Rudraksh: "Main thak gaya hu Ruhh, main zindagi se ladte ladte thak gaya hu."
(Iâm tired, Ruhh. Iâm tired of fighting with life.)
Ruhanika: "Aap thak gaye hai toh araam kar lijiye na Aksh, hume aapka khayal rakhne dijiye... Bataiye kya hua kyu pareshan hai??"
(If youâre tired, then rest, Aksh. Let me take care of you... Tell me, whatâs troubling you?)
Rudraksh: "Saalon pehle jis haadse ne meri zindagi badal di, aaj phir se usi ka zikr hua. Main nahi sambhal paaya khudko aur sukoon ke liye tumhare pass aa gaya."
(The incident that changed my life years ago⦠was brought up again today. I couldnât handle myself and came to you for peace.)
Ruhanika gently began caressing his head, her touch soft and soothing. Rudraksh shut his eyes, allowing himself to feel the comfort, as he longed to share the pain that had been buried deep in his heart for so long. Ruhanika, sensing his need to open up, listened to him with unwavering patience, her presence a calming reassurance as he began to release the emotions he had kept inside.
Rudraksh: "Mere Rishi, mere chote ko zarurat thi meri vo bhi ro raha hoga aur main kaise use chod yaha aa gaya."
(My Rishi needed me. He must be crying too, and yet I left him and came here.)
Ruhanika: "Koi baat nahi Aksh, hume bataiye aapko kya pareshan kar Raha hai?? Aapki aakhon me aansu kyu hai??"
(Itâs okay, Aksh. Tell me, what is troubling you? Why are there tears in your eyes?)
Ruhanika understood the depth of Rudraksh's inner turmoil and the unspoken need he had to release everything weighing on his heart. She knew that for his peace of mind, he needed to express his emotions and let go of the burden he had been carrying. With compassion, she remained by his side, ready to support him as he unburdened himself.
Rudraksh: "Maine bataya na humari bahaut badi family thi."
(I told you, we had a very big family.)
Ruhanika: "Jii aapne kaha tha."
(Yes, you mentioned it.)
Rudraksh: "Hum sab Punjab me rehte the. Par phir mumma papa ne mujhe aur Rishi ko Rajasthan bhej diya tha Mamu ke ghar kyuki mamu akele the."
(We lived in Punjab. But then, Mom and Dad sent Rishi and me to Rajasthan to live with my uncle because he was alone.)
Ruhanika: "Aapke mama ji Rajasthan me?"
(Your uncle was in Rajasthan?)
Rudraksh: "Mumma bhi Rajasthan se thi, papa aur mumma ki love marriage thi."
(Yes, my mom was from Rajasthan. My parents had a love marriage.)
Ruhanika smiled softly, her touch gentle as she continued to stroke his hair, offering him a sense of comfort and warmth.
Rudraksh: "Dadu aur Kartavya bhai ki family aur humari family, inka achcha relation tha, papa aur kartavya bhai ke papa ki dost the aur Dadu aur mere dadu bhi. Phir 16th July 2007, us din mujhe aur Rishi aur mujhe, hum dono ko Dadu lene aa rahe the vo hume London le jana chahiye rahe the further studies ke liye."
(Dadu, Kartavya bhaiâs family, and ours had a very good relationship. Dad and Kartavya bhaiâs father were friends, and Dadu and my grandfather were friends too. Then came July 16, 2007... That day, Dadu was coming to pick up Rishi and me. He was taking us to London for further studies.)
Ruhanika listened to him with unwavering patience, her heart aching as she saw the pain reflected in his eyes. It was as though each word he spoke tugged at her own heart, but she kept her emotions in check, knowing that he needed her strength. She focused on being the steady presence he needed, carefully managing her own feelings so that she could continue to support and care for him.
Rudraksh: "Dadu jab humse mile toh unhe call aaya ki Punjab me terrorist attack hua hai, aur....a..aur humara Ghar bhi blast ho gaya. Mujhe laga tha mumm ka phone isiliye maine uthaya tha phone aur sab sun liya."
(When Dadu met us, he received a call saying that a terrorist attack had happened in Punjab... and⦠a-and our house had also been bombed. I thought it was Mom calling, so I picked up the phone, and I heard the truth.)
Rudraksh, overwhelmed by the weight of his emotions, buried his face in her stomach, his tears flowing freely. The dam he had kept intact for so long finally broke, and he allowed himself to release everything that had been building up inside. Ruhanika, her heart heavy with compassion, gently stroked his back.
Rudraksh: "Main kuch samajh nahi paaya betu, bina kuch Jane samjhe ghar se bhaag Gaya... Bas mumma papa ko dekhna chahta tha. Bina ko soche bas bhaage ja raha tha, Dadu bhi piche aa rahe the, samne se truck aane wali thi par main nahi ruka."
(I couldnât understand anything, Betu. Without knowing anything, I ran away from home... I just wanted to see Mom and Dad one last time. Without thinking, I just kept running, and Dadu was running behind me too. A truck was coming towards me, but I didnât stop.)
Ruhanika's heartbeat quickened as a wave of fear swept over her, the unsettling memories of her accident with her parents resurfacing in an instant. The dread gripped her chest, but she fought to keep it in check. She squeezed her eyes shut, taking deep breaths to calm herself, reminding herself that her AkshhâRudrakshâneeded her now, and she couldnât let her emotions take over.
Rudraksh, sensing the shift in her energy, tightened his grip around her waist, offering a silent, protective reassurance. He could feel the tension in her body, but he didnât say anything, understanding the struggle she was silently enduring.
Rudraksh: "Phir mujhe tumhari awaaz sunai di... Bachao bachao chilla rahi thi tum aur main na jaane kyu mud ke tumhari or chal pada. Isiliye maine hi tumhe nahi betu, tumne bhi mujhe bachaya tha.... Tumhari hi dein hai meri ye Zindagi."
(Then I heard your voice⦠You were screaming for help, and I donât know why, but I turned towards you. Thatâs why, Betu, I didnât just save youâyou also saved me... This life of mine is because of you.)
Ruhanika: "Akkshhhh."
Rudraksh: "Main phir 2 din behosh tha, par Rishi... Vo bas 8 saal ka tha bahaut kareeb tha vo mumma se, kitni baar toh mujhse bhi jhagda karta tha kehta tha mumma usse zyada pyaar karti hai... Par sab khatam kar diya Ruhh sab khatam ho gaya, hum kisi ko akhri baar dekh bhi nahi paye betu."
( I was unconscious for two days after that. But Rishi... He was just an eight-year-old child. He was so close to Mom. He used to fight with me, saying that Mom loved him more⦠But everything was destroyed, Ruhh. Everything was gone. We didnât even get to see them one last time)
Rudraksh's cries were filled with such deep pain that Ruhanika's eyes welled up with tears, her heart aching for him. She leaned down and softly kissed his forehead, her gentle touch a silent promise of her support. As she did, Rudraksh shut his eyes, allowing himself to feel the warmth and comfort of her presence, the tenderness of her touch offering him a moment of peace amidst his turmoil.
Rudraksh: "usi waqt Ashvik humari zindagi me aay... Use bhi kuch yaad nahi tha.. mumma ke bare me sun ke mamu bhi jaldi hi chod ke chale gaye hume... Dadu aur Kartavya bhai ne hi sambhala hume... Phir maine bahaut mehnat ki main Rishwik ko achchi zindagi dena chahta tha kyuki vo meri zindagi ban gaya tha."
(Thatâs when Ashvik came into our lives⦠He didnât remember anything either. After hearing about Mom, my uncle also left us soon after... Dadu and Kartavya bhai were the ones who held us together. Then I worked hard because I wanted to give Rishwik a good lifeâhe had become my whole world.)
Ruhanika smiled through her tears, her heart breaking as she watched Aksh, the person she cared for deeply, cry. Her eyes shimmered with sorrow, yet her smile remained, a reflection of the love and strength she wished to offer him in this painful moment. She wanted to comfort him, to erase his pain, but all she could do was hold him close and let him know he wasn't alone.
Rudraksh: "vo nadaan bahaut ziddi hua karta tha par us 8 saal ke bachche se zidd karna hi chod diya Ruhh, vo aaj tak kisi baat ki zidd nahi karta hai mujhse. Na jane kab vapas aayega Mera Rishi mere pass."
(That little boy used to be so stubborn, but after that incident, he stopped demanding anything from me, Ruhh. To this day, he never asks me for anything. I donât know when my Rishi will come back to me.)
As Rudraksh poured out all his pain, Ruhanika could feel the weight of his emotions deeply, her heart aching with every word he spoke. She could sense the years of struggle, the silent battles, and the heartbreak he had endured. But it wasnât just his pain she feltâshe could also feel Rishwikâs unspoken suffering, the years of hardship and sacrifice they both must have gone through. The bond they shared, the wounds they had carried, all of it became clear to her in this moment. She understood the depth of their experiences, and the empathy that flowed from her was overwhelming. She wished she could take it all away, but for now, she could only be there for him, offering him her presence and love.
Rudraksh: "Main 16 saal ka tha jab pata chala ki vo terrorist attack nahi balki kisi ka plan tha."
(I was 16 when I found out that it wasnât a terrorist attack but someoneâs plan.)
Ruhanika sat frozen, her eyes wide with shock as the revelation hit her. Her mind raced to process what she had just heard.
Rudraksh: "Tab se hi sach janne ki koshish me nikla hu Ruhh, bahaut kareeb hu apne maqsad ke.... Main kamyab toh ho jaunga na Ruhh??"
(Since then, Iâve been searching for the truth, Ruhh. Iâm so close to my goal... I will succeed, right?)
Rudraksh looked at Ruhanika, his eyes filled with a deep sense of hope and expectation. He waited for her response, hoping she would understand or offer the reassurance he desperately needed in that moment.
Rudraksh: "Aur haar bardasht nahi kar paunga Ruhh, main kar lunga na?? Main thak gaya hu... Sab khatam karke bas tumhari baahon me araam se sona chata hu.. main kar toh lunga na betu??"
(I canât bear another loss, Ruhh. I just want to finish everything and sleep peacefully in your arms⦠I will do it, right, Betu??)
Rudrakshâs voice held a childlike insecurity, lacking the usual confidence that defined him. He looked at Ruhanika, his eyes searching for reassurance, the vulnerability in him evident. Ruhanika, though battling her own emotions, took a deep breath, gathering the strength to calm herself for him.
Without saying a word, she leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to his forehead, holding it there for several long seconds. Rudraksh closed his eyes, feeling the warmth and tenderness of her touch, his heart settling in the comfort of her affection. When she finally pulled back, her hand softly caressed his head, a quiet gesture that spoke volumes of the love and care she had for him. He opened his eyes to meet hers, feeling a sense of peace wash over him in that moment.
Ruhanika: "Hume aap par pura bharosa hai Akshh, aap kar sakte hai aap kar lenge, aapka maqsad zarur pura hoga."
(I have complete faith in you, Akshh. You can do it, and you will do it. Your purpose will definitely be fulfilled.)
Rudraksh gently took her hands in his and Ruhanika smiled.
Ruhanika: "Sab thik ho jayega Aksh, apko aapke Rishi bhi mil jayenge, vada karte hai hum.. ab aap akele nahi hai, hum denge har kadam par aapka sath."
(Everything will be fine, Aksh. You will also find your Rishi, we promise you. You are not alone anymore; we will stand by you at every step.)
Ruhanika, with unwavering tenderness, promised Rudraksh once more, her voice soft but full of assurance. She pressed another gentle kiss to his forehead, her heart aching for him in that moment. As her fingers began to stroke his hair, Rudrakshâs grip on her hand tightened, pulling it closer to his chest as if afraid to let go of the comfort she brought him. Ruhanika smiled, though her eyes were filled with unshed tears, reflecting the depth of her love and concern for him. She gently wiped away the tears that had begun to fall from his eyes, her touch tender and soothing.
Ruhanika: "So jaiye Aksh hum hai yahi."
(Go to sleep, Aksh. I am right here.)
Ruhanika gently patted Rudrakshâs head, her touch calm and soothing. He closed his eyes, the weight of the day and his emotions slowly taking their toll on him. As she continued to stroke his hair, she noticed the exhaustion overtaking him. His grip on her hand loosened, and she instinctively shifted, gently patting his chest with one hand while the other continued to brush through his hair.
Rudrakshâs breathing became steadier as he drifted into a peaceful slumber in her arms, his face relaxed for the first time in what felt like forever. Ruhanika, holding him close, wiped away the tears that had silently fallen, a soft smile touching her lips despite the emotions swirling within her. She knew that in this moment, they both found comfort in each otherâs presence, and for now, that was all that mattered.
Ruhanika: "Aap bahaut himmat wale hai Akshh, hum toh jante the ki aap aayenge hume lene us ghar pe... Par aapne toh apni zindagi me ajeeb sa akelapan dekha hai... Hum vada karte hai aap aur Rishi Bhai kabhi us daur se vapas nahi guzarenge."
(You are very strong, Akshh. I always knew that you would come to take me from that house⦠But you have seen such a strange loneliness in your life. I promise you, you and Rishi Bhai will never have to go through that phase again.)
Ruhanika smiled softly at Rudraksh, her heart filled with warmth as she leaned down to place a gentle kiss on his forehead, followed by a tender kiss on his cheek. Even in his deep sleep, Rudrakshâs lips curled into a small smile, and Ruhanika couldn't help but smile in return, her heart swelling with affection.
She carefully shifted his head, placing it gently on the pillow. Rudraksh stirred slightly, but she began patting his chest softly, her touch calming him back into a deeper sleep. Once she saw that he had settled peacefully, she gently covered him with the duvet, ensuring he was comfortable. With a quiet sigh, Ruhanika tiptoed out of the room, her heart still with him, but knowing that he was now resting, secure and at peace in her care.
Ruhanika walked toward Rishwikâs room, noticing the door was slightly ajar. Quietly, she stepped inside, expecting to find him at his desk or working, but instead, she saw him standing out on the balcony. A soft smile crept across her face as she saw him lost in thought.
Without making a sound, she approached the bed, took the duvet, and wrapped it around his shoulders as she walked toward him. Rishwik turned at the soft rustling, his eyes meeting hers. What she didnât expect, though, was the glimmer of tears in his eyes. Rishwik quickly tried to look away, his attempt to hide the emotion evident, but Ruhanika could see through him.
She smiled, knowing how much he tried to mask his feelings. She gently took his hand, leading him back inside the room. Sitting on the bed, she gestured for him to lay down, patting her lap invitingly. It was her way of silently offering comfort, a safe space for him to let go of his worries.
Ruhanika: "Aa jaiye Rishi Bhai, Aksh ne bataya hai hume kya hua tha."
(Come, Rishi Bhai. Aksh has told me everything that happened.)
Rishwik, unable to hold back any longer, collapsed onto the bed and laid his head in her lap, his body shaking as he cried. The weight of his emotions finally overwhelmed him, and he sought solace in her comforting presence, the tears flowing freely as he let go of everything he had been holding in.
Rishwik: "Aisa kyu hua Angel, tum toh manti ho na apne bhagwan me unse puchna unhone kyu kiya mere aur bhai ke sath aisa??? Hum toh kitne chote the tab."
(Why did this happen, Angel? You believe in your God, right? Ask Him why He did this to my brother and me. We were so young back then.)
Ruhanika: "Ro lijiye bhai, sara dard bahar nikal dijiye."
(Cry, Bhai, let all the pain out.)
Ruhanika gently caressed his head, her touch soothing and steady as she tried to offer him comfort. Rishwik, in his vulnerability, held onto her hand tightly.
Rishwik: "Main kitna roya tha par mumma nahi thi chup karane ko, bhai toh jaise besudhh se ho gaye the."
(I cried so much, but Mumma wasnât there to console me. Bhai was like he had lost all sense of himself.)
Ruhanika's eyes glistened with unshed tears, her heart aching for Rishwik as he cried. Despite the emotions swelling within her, she continued to caress his head gently, offering him the silent support and comfort he so desperately needed in that moment.
Rishwik: "Pata hai Aman ne kitne dino tak khudko band kar liya tha, na baat karta tha na kuch khata tha... Vo aakhiri baar tha jab usne kisi se khul ke baat ki ho... Uske baad ab tumhare aane ke baad vo thoda thik hua hai."
(Do you know, Aman locked himself away for days? He neither spoke to anyone nor ate anything⦠That was the last time he ever spoke openly to anyone. After that, he only started to get better after you came into our lives.)
Ruhanika furrowed her brows, her expression shifting to one of confusion.
Ruhanika: "Aman bhaiya??"
Rishwik: "Papa bahaut bade businessman the aur Arora Uncle unke PA the, par hum sab unhe apni family hi mante the bas tabhi se Aman humare sath hai... Par us hadse ne Aman se bhi uska sabkl kuch cheen liya. Aman ki mumma pehle hi nahi thi aur phir papa bhi..."
(Papa was a very big businessman, and Arora Uncle was his PA, but we always considered him family. Thatâs why Aman has been with us since then⦠But that incident took everything away from Aman as well. Amanâs mother was already no more, and then he lost his father tooâ¦)
Rishwik shut his eyes tightly, as if trying to block out the overwhelming flood of emotions. Tears continued to pour from his eyes, each drop a silent testament to the pain he was struggling to cope with, his body trembling with the weight of it all.
Rishwik: "Main nahi karunga tumhare bhagwan se kabhi bhi baat Angel, vo bahaut bure hai mujhse, bhai se Aman se sab le liya unhone kuch nahi hai humare pass, hum kitne chote the aur bilkul akele the."
( I will never talk to your God, Angel. He is very cruel to me. He took everything from Bhai, from AmanâHe left us with nothing. We were just kids, and we were completely alone.)
Ruhanika's heart ached as she watched Rishwik, his vulnerability laid bare before her. Tears welled up in her eyes, not just from seeing his pain, but from the deep connection she felt, as though he were a child seeking solace from his mother. She gently continued to caress his head, wishing she could take away his sorrow, feeling an overwhelming protective instinct rise within her.
Rishwik: "Vo achche nahi hai Angel, tum bhi gussa raho unse. Unhone tumhare sath bhi bura kiya."
(He is not good, Angel. You should also be angry with Him. He wronged you too.)
Rishwik looked up at Ruhanika, his eyes swollen and teary, but there was a glimmer of hope in them. Despite the pain, he seemed to search her face for comfort.
Rishwik: "Main sahi keh raha hu na Angel?? Main galat nahi hu na??"
(Iâm right, arenât I, Angel? Iâm not wrong, right?)
Ruhanika smiled softly at Rishwik, her heart filled with warmth as she leaned in and kissed his forehead gently. Rishwik shut his eyes, feeling the comfort of her touch, as if she were a mother offering him the unconditional love and care he had been longing for.
Ruhanika: "Humare Rishi Bhai kabhi galat nahi hote hai, vo jo karte hai sahi hota hai. Bas ek kaam chod ke."
(My Rishi Bhai is never wrong. Whatever he does is always right⦠except for one thing.)
Rishwik: "Kya Angel?? Maine kya galat kiya??"
(What, Angel? What did I do wrong?)
Ruhanika: "Inhone bataya aap pehle kitni zidd kiya karte the inse, ab kyu nahi karte bhai?? Kyu badal gaye itna??"
(Aksh told me that you used to be very stubborn with him before. Why donât you do that anymore, Bhai? Why have you changed so much?)
Rishwik: "Maine kaise zidd karu bhai se Angel?? Vo kitne pareshan rehte the, meri aur Ashvik bhai dono ki immunity bahaut kum thi bachpan me, toh bhai raat bhar jaag ke humari care karte the jab hum bimaar hote the, phir subah vo apni padhai ke lag jate Kyuki unhe business shuru karna tha. 18 saal ki umar me hi unhone shuru kar diya phir khoob mehnat ki itna sab hasil karne ke liye, so that vo mujhe ek achcha future de sake.... Ab in sab me main unhe kaise pareshan kar du??"
(How could I be stubborn with Bhai, Angel? He was always so troubled. Both Ashvik Bhai and I had very weak immunity as kids, so Bhai used to stay awake all night to take care of us whenever we were sick. Then, in the morning, he would focus on his studies because he had to start a business. He started at just 18 and worked incredibly hard to achieve everything so that he could give me a good future⦠In all this, how could I trouble him?)
Ruhanika smiled fondly at Rishwik, impressed by his maturity despite the raw emotions he had just displayed. She gently caressed his cheeks, her touch tender and affectionate, as if silently acknowledging the strength he had shown in sharing his pain.
Ruhanika: "Par Rishi Bhai, aap jante hai vo apne chote ko kitna yaad karte hai?? Unhone toh sabke sath apne chote ko bhi kho diya, aur aap chahte hai aapke hote huye bhi vo aisa hi mehsus kare??"
(But Rishi Bhai, do you know how much he misses his little brother? He lost not just everyone else, but you too. And you want him to continue feeling that way, even when youâre right here?)
Rishwik shook his head like a child, yet it added a certain innocence to the moment. Ruhanika couldnât help but smile softly, her heart warmed by the sight of him, even in his vulnerability.
Ruhanika: "Phir, aap banenge na phir se vahi wale Rishi Bhai??"
(So, will you become that same Rishi Bhai again?)
Rishwik smiled and nodded.
Rishwik: "Haa main phir se bhai ko tang karunga, bahaut tang karunga aur bolunga Angel mujhse zyada pyaar karti hai aur aapse kum."
(Yes! I will trouble Bhai again, a lot! I will tease him and tell him that Angel loves me more than she loves him.)
Ruhanika and Rishwik shared a lighthearted giggle, the sound filling the air with a sense of relief.
Ruhanika: "Umm Nahi bhai, humara prem unke liye patni wala hai, aur aapke liye behen wala.. toh iski toh tulna hi nahi hogi na toh kum zyada kaise??"
(Umm⦠No, Bhai. My love for him is that of a wife, and for you, itâs the love of a sister. So there can be no comparison. How can there be more or less?)
Rishwik smiled warmly at Ruhanikaâs innocent question, his heart swelling with affection. Just moments ago, she had been the picture of maturity, comforting him through his pain, but now, seeing her revert to the playful, endearing version of herselfâhis cute little sisterâfilled him with a sense of gratitude and love. He cherished the balance she brought, offering both strength and sweetness in equal measure.
Rishwik: "achcha okay no tulna, only teasing and irritating bhai. Itna ki tang aa jaye bhai mujhse ekdum."
(Alright, no comparisons! Only teasing and irritating Bhaiâso much that he gets completely fed up with me!)
Ruhanika: "Ye toh nahi ho sakta Rishi Bhai. Vo aapse tang nhi aa sakte."
(Thatâs not possible, Rishi Bhai. He can never get fed up with you.)
Rishwik: "Aur aa gaye toh??"
(And what if he does?)
Ruhanika: "Toh hum hai na, hum unhe thodi si daant lagayenge toh vo aapko maaf kar denge"
(Then Iâm here. Iâll scold him a little, and heâll forgive you.)
Both started giggling, the sound of their laughter light and carefree. Ruhanika, with a soft smile, began gently stroking Rishwikâs hair, her touch soothing and tender. Rishwik closed his eyes, a peaceful smile spreading across his face as he leaned into the comfort of her gesture, feeling the warmth of her care wash over him.
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai, Aman bhaiya Ghar pe nahi hai, vo thik hai?? Vo shaam me vapas toh aaye the"
(Rishi Bhai, Aman Bhaiya isnât home. Is he okay? He did come back in the evening, right?)
Rishwik: "Avyu ke pass gaya hai."
(He went to Avyu.)
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai??"
Rishwik: "Hmm"
Ruhanika: "Aapke aur Riyu ke 8 nanhe babies honge na?? Hume khelna hai unke sath."
(You and Riyu will have 8 little babies, right? I want to play with them.)
Rishwik chuckled softly, realizing that Ruhanika was subtly trying to divert his mind from the heaviness of the moment. Her gentle touch and tender care were her way of supporting him, helping him shift focus, and he appreciated it more than words could express. Her playful attempt to lighten the mood brought a sense of relief, making him feel both comforted and understood.
Rishwik: "Tum pehle apne 6 karlo phir mera sochna."
(You should have your 6 first, then Iâll think about mine.)
Ruhanika: "Matlab humare 6 nanhe babies honge toh aap 8 nanhe babies karenge??"
(So, if we have 6 little babies, youâll have 8?)
Rishwik: "Yeahh done."
Ruhanika grinned mischievously, and Rishwik couldnât help but chuckle at her lighthearted, almost nonsensical questions. As she continued to stroke his head with one hand, she gently patted his forehead with the other. Her soothing touch, combined with her calming presence, soon lulled him into a deep slumber. Ruhanika watched over him with a soft smile, her heart full of affection. Leaning down, she kissed his forehead.
Rudraksh, who had been quietly listening from the door, smiled softly as he watched Ruhanika with Rishwik. He had woken up just as she left the room and had listened to the gentle exchange between the two. Wiping away a stray tear, he couldn't help but feel proud of how Ruhanika handled both him and Rishwik, offering her unwavering care and support. To him, she was truly an angel in their lives.
As Ruhanika carefully shifted Rishwik's head onto the pillow, ensuring he was comfortable, Rudraksh quietly returned to his room. He lay down on the bed, closing his eyes, feeling a sense of peace wash over him.
Moments later, Ruhanika entered the room. Without a word, she slipped into his vest, curling up beside him. She pulled the covers around them both and leaned over to gently kiss his cheek. The warmth of her touch and her loving gesture made Rudraksh's heart swell.
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai theek hai aap fikr mat kijiye."
(Rishi Bhai, itâs okay. Donât worry.)
Rudraksh smiled softly, knowing that Ruhanika was aware of his presence without needing to look. He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her head, his heart swelling with love. With a tender, reassuring gesture, he wrapped his arms around her securely, holding her close.
Rudraksh: "Thank you Ruhh"
Ruhanika: "Hum is waqt aapse thode se naraz nahi hona chahte hai."
(I donât want to be mad at you right now.)
Rudraksh smiled lovingly, squeezing Ruhanika gently in his arms. He adored this moment, relishing the warmth and closeness. To him, holding her felt like his entire world was wrapped up in that embrace, a sense of completeness that words could never truly capture. It was a feeling so profound, so pure, that he often found himself at a loss for words. The happiness he felt in that simple, intimate act of holding her was beyond anything he had ever known.
Rudraksh: "Jo hukum Mallika-e-Aksh."
(As you command, My Queen of Aksh.)
Ruhanika smiled softly, feeling the safety and comfort in his embrace. She snuggled closer, resting her head gently against his neck, savoring the warmth and tranquility that surrounded them. The soothing rhythm of his breath and the steadiness of his heartbeat brought her a deep sense of peace. Together, in the quiet of the moment, they both drifted into a peaceful sleep, their hearts beating in unison as they found solace in each otherâs presence.
