Uski toh aakhein bhi karti hai baatein

Uska ehsaas hai, uski yaad hai,

The Next morning,

Rudraksh stretched a little and sat up, running a hand through his hair with a fond smile, he found himself alone on the bed. His heart swelled with admiration for Ruhanika. He looked at the time and shook his head in disbelief. It was well past his usual gym hours, and he knew exactly who was behind this—his mischievous wife. A smirk played on his lips as he sighed, shaking his head. A fond smile played on his lips as he recalled how Ruhanika had taken care of both him and Rishwik last night with such patience and maturity. She always had a way of grounding him, of making everything feel okay even when his emotions were all over the place, it made him fall for her all over again.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, jaana closet me ho kya??"

(Ruhh, my love, are you in the closet?)

When Rudraksh didn’t receive any reply, he let out a small sigh and stepped down from the bed. His habit of cleanliness took over as he quickly straightened the sheets, ensuring everything was in order. Once satisfied, he slipped on his slippers and, instead of heading to the washroom, decided to leave the room.

His steps led him to Rishwik’s room, where he found his younger brother still fast asleep, curled up in the duvet like a baby. A soft smile appeared on Rudraksh’s face as he took in the peaceful sight. Without disturbing him, he sat beside him and gently caressed his head, his fingers threading through his hair with warmth and care. A wave of nostalgia washed over him—no matter how much they grew up, Rishwik would always remain his little brother.

Rudraksh: "Chotee"

(younger one)

Rishwik smiled in his sleep, a peaceful expression settling on his face. Seeing this, Rudraksh couldn't help but smile as well. He continued to gently caress Rishwik's head, his touch filled with warmth and affection.

Rudraksh: "The best hacker Rishwik the great Malhotra jii uth jaiye."

(The best hacker, Rishwik the great Malhotra sir, wake up!)

Rudraksh chuckled at his own words, fully aware of how self-obsessed his brother was. Shaking his head in amusement, he watched as Rishwik merely stirred in his sleep but didn’t wake up. Letting out a sigh, Rudraksh smiled fondly at the sleepyhead, knowing it would take more than this to rouse him.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh ko aise hi sleepyhead bolta hu main, asli kumbhkaran toh ye ladka hai."

(I call Ruhh a sleepyhead, but the real Kumbhkaran is this boy.)

Rudraksh lightly patted his cheeks, a playful smirk on his face.

Rishwik: "Kon pagal hai yaar."

(Who's the crazy one here?)

Rishwik mumbled in his sleepy voice, causing Rudraksh to glare at him. Rudraksh lightly slapped his cheek once more.

Rudraksh: "Tu pagal ae, uth hun, nahi ta hor chittar khavega savere savere."

(You are crazy. Wake up now, or else you'll get some slaps early in the morning.)

Rishwik: "Ki yaar bhai, Dadu kaafi nahi si jo hun tusi vi shuru ho gaye? Angel nu dassa ki?"

(Bro, wasn't Dadu enough that now you've also started? Should I tell Angel?)

Rishwik sleepily shifted his head onto Rudraksh’s lap, seeking comfort. Slowly, he blinked his eyes open, only to be met with Rudraksh’s intense, glaring gaze.

Rishwik: "Subah huyi nahi ki ye darawni nazre dikhana shuru."

(The morning hasn't even begun properly, and you're already giving me those scary looks.)

Rudraksh: "Ruhh ke naam se dhamki dega toh aur kya karu, chal uth ab."

(If you threaten me in Ruhh’s name, what else can I do? Now get up!)

Rishwik wrapped his arms around Rudraksh's waist in a tight hug, while Rudraksh responded with a light slap on his back, shaking his head with a fond smile.

Rishwik: "Kya yaar bhai aapko gym nhi jaana kya meri nind kharab karne aaye ho"

(Bro, don’t you have to go to the gym? Why are you here to ruin my sleep?)

Rudraksh: "Subah ke 8:30 ho rahe hai mahashay."

(Sir, it's already 8:30 in the morning.)

Rishwik woke up abruptly and sat up with a jolt.

Rishwik: "Whaaattt?????"

Rishwik glanced at his alarm clock, only to find it turned off, confusion flickering across his face.

Rishwik: "Abe nalayak tu baja kyu nahi??"

(You idiot, why didn’t the alarm ring?)

Rishwik smacked the alarm clock in frustration, and before he could react, Rudraksh lightly tapped him on the head, shaking his head in amusement.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh ka kaam hai ye, mera Alarm bhi band kar diya."

(That was Ruhh’s doing. She turned off my alarm too.)

Rudraksh and Rishwik exchanged a knowing smile before Rishwik, feeling at ease, rested his head on Rudraksh’s lap once again. He gently held Rudraksh’s hand, seeking comfort in the familiar warmth, while Rudraksh let out a soft chuckle, patting his head reassuringly.

Rishwik: "Bhai hum itne lucky kab se ho gaye ki Angel humari life me aayi."

(Bro, since when did we get so lucky to have Angel in our lives?)

Rudraksh: "Is baat ka jawab toh mere paas bhi nahi, na jane kaise sambhal leti hai vo sab kuch... Itni nadaan hai par kabhi kabhi aisi harkatein karti hai ki main hi shocked reh jata hu."

(Even I don’t have an answer to that. I don’t know how she manages everything. She’s so innocent, yet sometimes she does things that leave me shocked.)

Rishwik: "Aap jante ho kal raat mere pass aayi thi. Mujhe laga mumma aa gayi bhai."

(Do you know, last night she came to me? I thought Mom had come, bro.)

This time, Rudraksh and Rishwik smiled as they reminisced about their mother, unlike before when the memories would only bring them sadness. Now, their hearts felt warmth instead of pain, cherishing the love and strength she had given them.

Rudraksh: "Janta hu sab, mujhe bhi sambhala tha usne."

(I know everything. She took care of me too.)

Rishwik: "Keh rahi thi aapse zyada mujhse pyaar karti hai"

(She was saying that she loves me more than you.)

Rudraksh playfully slapped Rishwik's cheeks once again.

Rudraksh: "Suna tha maine sab, zyada na dimaag mat dauda apna."

(I heard everything. Don’t overthink it.)

Rishwik rubbed his cheeks, pouting slightly at the repeated slaps.

Rishwik: "Aap bhi na zyada hath mat chalao especially mere cheeks pe, Varna meri darling kiss kaha karegi."

(Bro, please stop hitting me, especially on my cheeks! Otherwise, where will my darling kiss me?)

Rudraksh: "Sudhar ja besharam."

(Behave yourself, shameless one.)

Both of them chuckled.

Rudraksh: "Chal ab uth, ye samajhdar madam gayab hai subah se na jane ab kaha udham machaya hoga."

(Now get up! That so-called ‘sensible madam’ is missing since morning. Who knows what mischief she’s up to now?)

Both chuckled as they reminisced about Ruhanika's antics. Amid their laughter, Rishwik suddenly woke up and sat up straight, still smiling at the memory.

Rishwik: "Chaliye fresh hoke aata hu."

(Alright, I’ll freshen up and come.)

Rudraksh nodded and stood up to leave the room, but just as he reached the door, he paused upon hearing Rishwik call out to him.

Rishwik: "Bhaii"

Rudraksh: "Hmm"

Rishwik: "Aapke 6 bachche honge na, main 6 bachcho ko chachu banunga na."

(You’re going to have six kids, right? That means I’ll be an uncle to six kids, right?)

Rudraksh: "Ab laat khayega tu ruk."

(Now you’re going to get a kick, just wait!)

Rudraksh quickly sprinted towards Rishwik, but before he could catch him, Rishwik leaped off the bed and dashed into the washroom, giggling mischievously.

Rudraksh shook his head with a smile and left the room. After freshening up, both brothers came down the stairs together.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhhh, kaha ho yaar jaana??"

(Ruhhh, where are you, my love?)

Rishwik: "Mujhse zyada pyar karne wali Angel, kaha hoo yaar."

(Angel, who loves me more than bro, where are you?)

Rudraksh shot a glare at Rishwik, causing him to bolt down the remaining stairs in a hurry. Both of them reached the ground floor, only to be met with a puzzling sight. All the servants stood in a straight line outside the kitchen, their expressions unreadable. Meanwhile, Amandeep, Kartavya, Kritika, Savisha, Ashvik, Akshavi, and Karanjeet were seated around the dining table, their faces reflecting a mix of curiosity and anticipation. The unusual atmosphere left Rudraksh and Rishwik utterly confused.

Rudraksh: "Kya hua aap sabko aise kyu baithe ho??"

(Why are you all sitting like this?)

Rishwik: "and aap sab aise kitchen ke bahar kyu khade hai??"

(And why are you all standing outside the kitchen?)

Ramu kaka: "Rishwik beta, vo Ruhi bitiya ne andar aane se mana kiya hai."

(Rishwik beta, Ruhi bitiya has forbidden anyone from entering inside.)

Chef: "Breakfast banane se bhi mana kiya aur kitchen se nikal diya."

(She didn’t even let us cook breakfast and sent us out of the kitchen.)

Rudraksh and Rishwik exchanged confused glances. Still puzzled, Rishwik quietly took his seat beside Amandeep, waiting for some clarity.

Rudraksh: "Bhabhi aapne pucha nahi Ruhh se kya hua??"

(Bhabhi, didn’t you ask Ruhh what’s wrong?)

Savisha: "Nahi bhai ye risk main nahi lungi, main toh vaise hi kitchen se bann hu, aapki Ruhh ko lagta hai kitchen ki humidity is not good for me, ek baar pani lene gayi thi phir aadhe ghante ki class lagi thi meri."

(No, bro, I’m not taking that risk. I’m already banned from the kitchen. Your Ruhh thinks the kitchen’s humidity isn’t good for me. One time, I went in just to get some water, and she gave me a half-hour lecture.)

Everyone chuckled at Savisha's complaints, while Rudraksh simply smiled.

Akshavi: "Rudra bhaiya, Ruhi ne kisi ko bhi andar aane se mana kiya hai."

(Rudra Bhaiya, Ruhi has strictly forbidden anyone from entering.)

Kritika: "Kaha hai koi andar aaya toh madam thodi si naraz ho jayengi."

(She said if anyone enters, she’ll be a little upset.)

They all chuckled once again.

Rudraksh: "Main dekh ke aata hu."

(I’ll go check.)

Rudraksh walked toward the kitchen while the rest of the family was engaged in lively chatter at the dining table. As he stepped inside, his eyes immediately landed on Ruhanika, and for a moment, he just stood there, taking in the sight before him.

She was dressed in a beautiful peach Anarkali, the dupatta draped elegantly over her left shoulder but secured with a neat knot at her waist on the right side. Her hair was styled in a messy bun, with a few delicate strands escaping, playfully brushing against her cheeks. What caught his attention the most was the tiny smudge of flour on her nose, making her look effortlessly adorable.

Rudraksh’s heart swelled with love and admiration, but at the same time, he couldn't suppress a chuckle at how endearingly cute she looked. His warm gaze lingered on her, but before he could take a step closer, Ruhanika, sensing his approach, swiftly turned to face him. With a playful warning glint in her eyes, she held up a rolling pin, making him halt in his tracks.

Ruhanika: "Nahiiii"

(Nooooo!)

Rudraksh halted in his tracks.

Ruhanika: "Aap andar mat aiye, humne mana kiya hai na sabko."

(Don’t come inside! I told everyone not to enter.)

Rudraksh: "But betu tum kar kya Rahi ho??"

(But, Betu, what are you doing?)

Ruhanika: "Vo hum batate hai, pehle aap bahar jaake baithiye chaliye."

(I’ll tell you, but first, go sit outside. Come on, now!)

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh suno..."

(Ruhh, listen…)

Ruhanika: "Baahaaarrrrrr"

(Ouuuuttttt!)

Ruhanika spoke sternly, holding up the rolling pin as a warning to Rudraksh. However, to him, she looked anything but intimidating, and he struggled to suppress a smile.

Rudraksh: "Jo hukum Mallika-e-Aksh"

(As you wish, my Queen of Aksh!)

Rudraksh Chuckled and nodded. Soon Ruhanika came outside.

Karanjeet: "Ki hoya, nikal ditta na tennu vi."

(What happened? She kicked you out too, didn’t she?)

Rudraksh chuckled and nodded. Moments later, Ruhanika stepped outside, her expression determined.

Ruhanika: "Ramu kaka, zara nashta bahar laane me humari sahayta karenge kya."

(Ramu Kaka, can you please help me bring the breakfast outside?)

Ramu Kaka and the other servants nodded in acknowledgment before quickly heading into the kitchen to assist Ruhanika. A few moments later, she emerged, carefully carrying the breakfast dishes and placing them on the dining table. However, there was an air of mystery—every dish was covered, leaving everyone at the table curious about what lay beneath.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine, ye itna sab kyu banaya hai"

(Little sunshine, why have you made so much food?)

Ruhanika: "Bhai sa Shhhhhh"

Ruhanika placed her finger on her lips, signaling him to stay quiet, and, in perfect sync, Kartavya mimicked her gesture, placing his own finger on his lips. Their adorable brother-sister antics brought a wave of laughter to the table, as everyone chuckled at their playful exchange.

Ruhanika: "Toh suniye sab, aaj ka nashta humne banaya hai sabke liye...aur isme se kuch bhi bacha toh hum thode se naraz ho jayenge. Samjhe sab??"

(So, listen, everyone! I made breakfast today for all of you… and if even a little bit is left over, I’ll be a little upset. Understood?)

Everyone nodded like obedient children, following along without question.

Ruhanika: "Good bachche log."

(Good children!)

Ruhanika chuckled at her own little surprise, and the rest joined in, amused by her thoughtful gestures. She then picked up a bowl, uncovered it, and carefully served Poha to Savisha. A bright smile lit up Savisha’s face as she noticed the letter ‘S’ beautifully formed with peanuts on top of her Poha.

Next, Ruhanika moved to Kartavya, serving him avocado toast. The moment he saw it, he let out a chuckle—his toast was cut into the shape of a ‘K.’ It was a simple yet heartwarming touch, making everyone appreciate the effort and love she had put into preparing their breakfast.

Savisha: "Omg, Ruhi beta ye itna karne ki kya zaroorat thi??"

(Oh my God, Ruhi beta, what was the need to do all this?)

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa, aap mumma banne wali hai na, toh baby bhi ye dekh ke khush hoga na toh aisa khayal rakhna padta hai, humne net pe padha hai baby sab sunte hai aur dekhte hai."

(Bhabhi sa, you’re going to be a mom, right? So, the baby will also be happy seeing this, right? I read on the internet that babies can hear and see everything.)

Savisha and Kartavya exchanged smiles. Gently, Savisha held Kartavya's hand and leaned in to whisper something softly.

Savisha: "Avya, Ruhi itna khayal rakhti hai ki mujhe lagta hai ye humara nahi balki Ruhi ka hi baby hai."

(Avya, Ruhi takes such good care that I feel like it’s not our baby but Ruhi’s own baby!)

Kartavya: "Little sunshine bhi toh humara bachcha hi hai na Mahiye."

(Little sunshine is our baby too, Mahiye.)

Savisha smiled warmly and nodded. Meanwhile, the rest of them were growing impatient, curiosity evident in their eyes as they wondered what surprise awaited them on their plates. Karanjeet, however, was the only one sulking. He had a strong feeling that Ruhanika must have prepared something healthy for him, and the thought alone made him sigh in disappointment. His expression amused the others, who couldn’t help but chuckle at his dilemma.

Ruhanika took another bowl and carefully served oatmeal to Kritika. With a playful touch, she arranged banana slices on top, forming the letters "BF," bringing a smile to everyone's faces.

Rishwik: "Bf?? Angel, Kriti di tumhari boyfriend hai, mujhe laga ye ladki hai."

(Bf?? Angel, Kriti di is your boyfriend? I thought she is a girl)

Kritika shot a sharp glare at Rishwik, her eyes narrowing in silent warning.

Kritika: "Bf means best friend you number one gawar."

(Bf means best friend, you number one illiterate!)

Rishwik simply rolled his eyes. Ruhanika then moved gracefully towards Ashvik, serving him a neatly crafted Masala Dosa in the shape of ‘A’, with a small bowl of chutney placed perfectly in the center. Ashvik’s face lit up at the thoughtful presentation. Next, she stepped toward Akshavi, placing a beautifully made Uttapam, also in the shape of ‘A’, in front of her. Akshavi smiled brightly, appreciating the extra effort Ruhanika had put into personalizing each dish. Finally, she turned to Karanjeet, who was still sulking, expecting some bland, healthy meal. But the moment Ruhanika placed a steaming plate of puri and sabzi in front of him, his eyes widened in pure delight. His initial disappointment vanished in an instant, replaced with excitement as he eagerly looked at the delicious spread before him. Karanjeet was unaware that the dishes had been prepared using olive oil and that the puris were air-fried instead of deep-fried.

Karanjeet: "Ruhi puttar, dass mainu aye koi sapna nahi hai."

(Ruhi puttar, tell me, this isn’t a dream, right?)

Ruhanika chuckled.

Ruhanika: "Kha lijiye Dadu humne swayam banaye hai, ye sapna nahi hai."

(Eat, Dadu! I made it myself. This is not a dream.)

Karanjeet: "Sunlo sare aaj se meri sari jaaydaad ki ek lauti varis hai meri Ruhi puttar."

(Listen, everyone! From today, the sole heir to my entire property is my Ruhi puttar!)

Rishwik: "Naaahiiiiii"

(Nooooooo!)

Rishwik shouted dramatically, placing both hands over his ears as if in shock, while the others facepalmed in exasperation.

Ruhanika: "Koi baat nahi Rishi Bhai hum aur aap 50 50 kar lenge."

(No worries, Rishi Bhai, we’ll split it 50-50.)

Rishwik: "East or west my Angel is the best."

All chuckle.

Rishwik: "Angel yaar ab sabko special dish di mujhe bhi batao mujhe bhi bhookh lagi ab."

(Angel, you gave everyone a special dish. Now tell me, I’m hungry too!)

Ruhanika: "Ji bhai aa rahe hai."

(Yes, Bhai, coming!)

Ruhanika walked toward them with a bright smile and carefully served Aloo Paratha and Kheer to Rudraksh, Rishwik, and Amandeep. Each plate had a special touch, making them smile in surprise. Rishwik's paratha was shaped like a car, perfectly matching his playful nature. Amandeep’s was in the shape of a star, symbolizing his guiding presence in their lives. Meanwhile, Rudraksh’s paratha was heart-shaped, a silent yet heartfelt gesture from Ruhanika.

Rishwik’s eyes widened in delight as he admired his car-shaped paratha, while Amandeep chuckled, shaking his head at the thoughtful creativity. Rudraksh, on the other hand, looked at Ruhanika with an affectionate gaze, touched by her sweet gesture.

Amandeep: "Ruhi humare parathe humare initial ke nahi??"

(Ruhi, don’t we have parathas with our initials?)

Ruhanika: "Kya Aman bhaiya sabko same denge kya kuch naya khaiye na."

(Aman Bhaiya, why should everyone get the same? Try something new!)

They all chuckled, amused by the moment, but Karanjeet remained entirely focused on enjoying his delicious food, oblivious to everything else.

Rudraksh: "Par betu ye sab??"

(But Betu, all this…?)

Ruhanika: "Offo aap sab kitna sawal karte hai. Rukiye ab hume khilane dijiye."

(Oh my, you all ask so many questions! Now, let me serve the food.)

Rishwik: "Nahi Angel bhai khud kha lenge tum baitho."

(No, Angel, I’ll eat by myself. You sit.)

Ruhanika’s smile was soft as she shook her head, her heart full of warmth for the three most important men in her life. Without saying a word, she picked up a bite from Amandeep’s plate and gently fed him. Amandeep looked at her, his eyes reflecting a depth of emotions he couldn’t put into words.

She then turned to Rishwik, taking a bite from his plate and feeding him as well. Rishwik, who was usually tough to read, felt his heart clench at the simple yet profound gesture. He remained silent, but his eyes softened as he accepted the food from her hands.

Finally, Ruhanika moved towards Rudraksh. He looked at her, already knowing what she was about to do. As she lifted a bite towards him, he didn’t protest. Instead, he let her feed him, feeling an unfamiliar warmth spread through his chest.

Everyone else around the table smiled knowingly. They could see what Ruhanika was doing—after the emotional turmoil they had all been through, she was trying to take care of them in her own way, offering them comfort through the simplest yet most heartfelt gesture.

Even Amandeep, Rishwik, and Rudraksh, despite being overwhelmed, held their emotions in check. They didn't want to ruin the moment. Instead, they silently cherished the love and care she was showering upon them. At that moment, none of them needed words-Ruhanika's actions spoke volumes, healing wounds they carried.

Ruhanika: "Bataiye kaisa laga aap sabko??"

(Tell me, how did you all like it?)

Savisha: "Mere pohe toh best hai."

(My poha is the best!)

Kartavya: "Little sunshine kuch banaye aur vo achcha na bane no chance."

(If little sunshine made it, there's no chance it won't be amazing!)

Kritika: "Ab meri bestie ne banaya hai best toh hoga hi."

(My bestie made it, so of course, it'll be the best!)

Ashvik: "meri behen mujhpe gayi hai Chef ekdum."

(My sister takes after me-an absolute chef!)

Akshavi: "Mere toh bhagya khul gaye aisi nanad paakar."

(My luck opened up after getting such a wonderful sister-in-law!)

Ruhanika chuckled at their overly dramatic comments, shaking her head in amusement.

Ruhanika: "Aur Dadu aapko??"

(And you, Dadu?)

Karanjeet: "Baadme Ruhi puttar abhi mainu maze naal khane de."

(Later, Ruhi puttar! Let me enjoy my food first.)

She chuckled and then turned her gaze toward Rudraksh, Rishwik, and Amandeep, who were looking at her like innocent children, their eyes filled with silent anticipation.

Ruhanika: "Kya hua aap teeno ko??"

(What happened to you three?)

The three of them smiled warmly.

Rudraksh then stood up, gently guiding Ruhanika to sit in his chair before kneeling down in front of her, his eyes filled with admiration and affection.

Rudraksh: "Bahaut achcha bana hai."

(It's really good.)

Rishwik quickly followed suit, kneeling down in front of Ruhanika alongside Rudraksh, both looking at her with playfı anticipation.

Rishwik: "Bahaut tasty bhi."

(Very tasty too!)

Even Amandeep joined them, kneeling in front of Ruhanika.

Amandeep: "jitne pyaar se banaya utne hi pyaar se khilaya bhi isiliye..."

(Made with so much love and fed with so much care, that's why...)

Rudraksh, Rishwik, and Amandeep each fed her a bite, one after the other. Ruhanika happily accepted their gestures, eating with a smile, touched by their sweet affection.

Ruhanika: "Bas bas ab thanda ho jaye usse pehle kha lijiye Varna hum..."

(Okay, okay, now eat before it gets cold. Otherwise, I'll...)

Amandeep, Rishwik: "Ha ha pata hai thodi si naraz ho jaogi."

(Haha, we know! You'll be a little upset.)

The entire dining table erupted into laughter at the adorable scene, while Ruhanika pouted, crossing her arms in mock annoyance.

Ruhanika: "Aap dekhiye ye sab has rahe hai hum pe."

(Look at them laughing at me!)

Rudraksh: "All are mad Ruhh, chodo in pagalo ko aao tum khao ye lo, bahaut ho gyi tumari maturity now be my betu."

(They're all mad, Ruhh! Ignore these crazy people. Come, let me feed you. That's enough maturity for today; now be my little betu!)

Rudraksh lovingly fed Ruhanika a bite of his paratha, making her giggle. The others at the table immediately shot glares at him, clearly feeling left out, but Rudraksh remained completely unbothered, focusing only on Ruhanika.

After finishing their breakfast, everyone dispersed to get ready for the day. Soon, they were all dressed and prepared to leave for their respective workplaces. Rudraksh, as always, took it upon himself to drop Ruhanika off at her college, ensuring she reached safely. Once she was settled, he headed straight to RM Empires to begin his day at work.

As the clock struck 7 PM,

Aakarsh drove to the park, exhaustion evident on his face after successfully completing a grueling five-hour surgery. His body ached for rest, but when his Meethiye called, he simply couldn't refuse. Dressed in an all-black shirt and pants, he stepped out of his car, running a hand through his slightly disheveled hair. The cool evening breeze brushed against his skin as he walked toward the park entrance. The moment he stepped inside, his tiredness seemed to fade just a little. The entire park was adorned with twinkling fairy lights, casting a warm golden glow around the area. The soft rustling of leaves created a peaceful ambiance. His eyes scanned the beautifully decorated space.

Aakarsh: "Hadd hai bhai public park me bhi log shadiya kara rahe hai kya itna taam jhaam."

(Unbelievable! People are even getting married in public parks now with all this grand setup.)

As he stepped further inside, he took in the breathtaking sight—the park was beautifully decorated with twinkling fairy lights, vibrant flowers, and elegant drapes, creating a magical ambiance.

Aakarsh: "Lo bolo is park ki bhi kismat chamak gayi, na jane meri kab chamkegi... Hayy o rabba Meri shaadi kad karoge tusi yaar? Main saree taan nahi paanda, par thodi khushiyan taan meri jholi vich vi barsaao yaar... Main meethiye di saree vich catch kar lawaanga!"

(Wow, even this park’s destiny has brightened. I wonder when mine will shine... Oh, dear God, when will you get me married? I won't wear a saree, but at least shower some happiness upon me… I’ll catch it in a Meethiye's saree if you want!)

Aakarsh shook his head at his own antics before stepping further inside. As he walked, his eyes took in the mesmerizing decorations until he finally reached the center of the park.

Aakarsh: "Ek minute ye park itna khali kyu hai?? Yaar main galat jagah toh nahi aa gaya... Kaisa pagal hu yaar main."

(Wait a minute… Why is this park so empty? Did I come to the wrong place? Man, I’m such an idiot.)

As Aakarsh turned to leave, the roar of a bike caught his attention. A person dressed entirely in black—a fitted top, jeans, and a sleek leather jacket—rode into the park on a Royal Enfield. The bike circled around Aakarsh, its deep rumble filling the air. Already exhausted, Aakarsh grew both confused and irritated by the rider’s actions. Finally, the bike came to a halt right in front of him, its engine still humming as the mysterious figure remained seated, facing him.

Aakarsh: "Kon ho yaar, ek minute figure se toh ladki lagti hu... Aaj kal ladkiya bhi aise ladke chedti hai kya??"

(Who’s there? Wait a second, from the figure, it looks like a girl… Do girls tease guys like this nowadays?)

Person: "Kyu chedne ka haq sirf ladko ka hai kya??"

(Why? Is teasing only a right reserved for men?)

Aakarsh frowned, his brows knitting together in confusion.

Aakarsh: "Meethiye, is that you, pari??"

Kritika took off her helmet, letting her straight hair cascade over her shoulders as she smiled. Aakarsh looked at her in confusion, and within seconds, his eyes widened in surprise.

Aakarsh: "Hawww meethiye tum ched rahi ho mujhe?? Ye roadside harkatein kaha se sikhi??"

(Oh my god, Meethiye, are you teasing me? Where did you learn these roadside antics?)

Kritika rolled her eyes at Aakarsh’s cluelessness before stepping down from the bike with a confident smirk. Taking a deep breath, she composed herself and walked forward with an air of mystery. With a simple snap of her fingers, the entire park lit up as fairy lights flickered to life, casting a mesmerizing glow all around. The once dim and quiet park was now bathed in a warm, enchanting light. Aakarsh stood frozen, his confusion only deepening. His tiredness was momentarily forgotten as he looked around, completely baffled by what was happening.

Aakarsh: "Ohh madam, batao yaar ye sab kya hai??"

(Madam, tell me, what is all this about?)

Kritika: "Iske jaisa bewakoof maine kahi nahi dekha, pata nahi kis gadhe ne ise Doctor banaya."

(I have never seen a bigger fool than you. I don't know which idiot made you a doctor.)

Kritika murmured under her breath, lost in her thoughts. Aakarsh, still utterly confused, clicked his fingers in front of her face, snapping her back to reality. She blinked and looked at him before taking a deep breath, trying to steady herself. A soft smile formed on her lips as she reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a delicate flower. Then, to Aakarsh’s utter disbelief, she gracefully knelt down in front of him. At that moment, everything clicked in his mind. His eyes widened in shock, and a rush of emotions flooded through him. His heart pounded wildly against his chest as he realized what was happening. Kritika was proposing to him.

Kritika: "Mujhe ye sab karna aata nahi hai, tumhari tarah tumhe special bhi feel nahi kara pati hu main, par bas ek choti si koshish ki hai maine. Bahaut research karke ye park wala idea aaya hai mujhe, sab thik toh lag raha hai na??"

(I am not good at doing things like this. I can’t make you feel special the way you do for me, but I have made a small effort. I did a lot of research and came up with this park idea. Does everything seem okay?)

Kritika glanced around uncertainly, a hint of doubt creeping into her expression as she wondered if she had made the right choice.

Kritika: "I guess shayad ab toh samajh hi gaye rahoge Ziddi doctor Aakarsh Khanna ki main kya kehna chahti hu??"

(I guess by now, Dr. Stubborn Aakarsh Khanna, you must have understood what I’m trying to say, right?)

Kritika looked at Aakarsh and saw his beautiful smile, the one that never failed to light up her world. But at the same time, she noticed the slight shimmer in his eyes, as if they were holding back unspoken emotions.

Kritika: "Yaar badal ke rakh diya hai tumne mujhe, ab zyada muskurane lagi hu, baatein karne lagi hu, ghumne lagi hu, khush rehne lagi hu, aur sab sirf aur sirf tumhari vajah se... So Mr. Aakarsh Khanna.."

(You have changed me completely. I smile more, I talk more, I go out more, and I am happier—all because of you. So, Mr. Aakarsh Khanna...)

Kritika gently took Aakarsh’s hand in hers, her fingers trembling slightly. In her other hand, she held the delicate rose, its soft petals mirroring the warmth in her heart. Her heartbeat was racing—faster than ever before—yet there was an undeniable sense of calm within her. She had never done anything like this before, and nervousness coursed through her veins. But as she looked into Aakarsh’s wide, astonished eyes, she knew, deep within her soul, that this was right. That he was the one.

Kritika: "So Mr. Ziddi Doctor Aakarsh Khanna Main pyaar karan laggi haan tennu, pyaar ho gaya hai taude naal. Hun sirf tuhadi honi chaundi haan, zindagi bitaani chaundi haan tuhade naal. Apnaoge apni zindagi vich mainu? Karoge mere naal shaadi? Meethiye ton Mrs. Meethiye banaoge ki?"

(So, Mr. Stubborn Doctor Aakarsh Khanna, I have started falling in love with you. I have fallen for you completely. Now, I just want to be yours, I want to spend my life with you. Will you accept me in your life? Will you marry me? Will you make Meethiye your Mrs. Meethiye?)

Kritika gazed at Aakarsh with eyes filled with hope and unspoken emotions, her heart pounding in anticipation. To her surprise, the same emotions mirrored in Aakarsh’s eyes—raw, deep, and overwhelming. Without a moment’s hesitation, he reached for her, pulling her up into his embrace. Wrapping his arms around her tightly, he lifted her off the ground, twirling her around as laughter and joy filled the air.

His happiness knew no bounds—this moment, this feeling, was beyond anything he had ever imagined. As they spun together, lost in their own world, a magical breeze swayed through the park, and as if responding to their love, flower petals started showering around them, creating an enchanting scene. It was as if the universe itself was celebrating their love, blessing them with beauty and warmth.

Aakarsh: "Yess yess yess yesss Hun tennu banavanga saddi zindagi da hissa, tussi mere kol hi ravangi humesha meri would be Mrs. Ziddi."

(Yes, yes, yes, yes! Now you will be a part of my life forever. You will always be with me, my would-be Mrs. Stubborn!)

Kritika chuckled as Aakarsh twirled around, his excitement evident. A cascade of delicate flowers rained down on them, creating a magical and dreamlike moment.

Kritika: "Achcha bas ab ruko bhi."

(Alright, now stop.)

Aakarsh: "Chup Karo tum, mujhe jeene do meri Khushi."

(Keep quiet, let me live this happiness.)

Kritika chuckled, her laughter soft and joyful, as her grip around Aakarsh's neck tightened, holding onto him as if she never wanted to let go.

Kritika: "Areh baba ab chakkar aa rahe hai bas karo na."

(Ugh, I’m feeling dizzy, stop now!)

Aakarsh halted immediately but made no move to put her down. Kritika pulled back slightly, her eyes searching his as she looked at him with curiosity.

Kritika: "Niche rakho mujhe"

(Put me down!)

Aakarsh simply shook his head with a soft smile, his eyes filled with warmth. Kritika giggled, her heart feeling light in the moment.

Kritika: "Areh pagal, main rose layi hu tumhare liye, ye toh lelo."

(You idiot, I got a rose for you. At least take it.)

Aakarsh: "Main nahi chodunga tumhe, rose tum meri shirt ki pocket me laga do."

(I’m not letting you go! Just put the rose in my shirt pocket.)

Kritika smiled gently as she placed a rose in Aakarsh's shirt pocket, her fingers brushing lightly against the fabric. When she looked up, she found him admiring her with an intensity that made her heart race. Her cheeks turned a soft shade of pink, and she quickly lowered her gaze, feeling shy under his loving stare.

Aakarsh: "Hayy mere rabba Kritika Aakarsh Khanna sharma rahi hai."

(Oh my dear God! Kritika Aakarsh Khanna is blushing.)

Kritika: "Kritika Aakarsh Khanna ho gayi isiliye sharma rahi hai."

(Of course, I am blushing because I have become Kritika Aakarsh Khanna.)

Aakarsh smiled at her, his gaze unwavering as he admired her. Kritika, too, found herself lost in his deep eyes, unable to look away. Minutes passed, yet neither of them moved, trapped in a silent, mesmerizing moment where time seemed to stand still.

Kritika: "Kitna dekhoge?? Ab toh niche rakho mujhe??"

(How much will you keep staring? Now put me down.)

Aakarsh: "Bilkul nahi, mera man nahi bhara main toh dekhunga meri pari ko"

(Not at all! I’m not satisfied yet; I want to keep looking at my angel.)

Kritika: "Aur kab bharega aapka man??"

(And when will you be satisfied?)

Kritika crossed her hands behind Aakarsh's neck, tilting her head slightly to the left as she asked softly, curiosity dancing in her eyes. Aakarsh mirrored her movement, tilting his head to the left as well, a playful smile tugging at his lips as their closeness deepened.

Aakarsh: "Kabhi nahii."

(Never.)

Kritika's cheeks flushed a deeper shade of pink as she felt the intensity of Aakarsh’s gaze. Both of them were lost in each other, completely unaware of how the space between them kept shrinking. Their breaths mingled, their hearts racing in sync, yet their minds remained conscious of the moment. Just as Aakarsh was about to move back, hesitation flickering in his eyes, Kritika gently cupped his face, her touch soft yet firm. Her fingers traced his jawline, grounding him in the moment. Her eyes held nothing but sincerity, making it clear that she didn't want him to pull away.

Kritika: "Vo... K..ya hum vo nhi karenge??"

(Umm… So, aren’t we going to… do that?)

Aakarsh immediately understood what she meant and smiled, but knowing his own stubborn nature, he decided to tease her instead. His eyes sparkled with mischief as he smirked, refusing to give in so easily. Leaning in slightly, he whispered.

Aakarsh: "Kya karna hai Meethiye??"

(What do you mean, Meethiye?)

Kritika: "Areh vahi jo proposal ke baad karte hai na."

(You know… that thing people do after a proposal.)

Aakarsh: "Achcha vo, haa I love you too Pari."

(Ohh, that! Yes, I love you too, my angel.)

Kritika narrowed her eyes at him, fully aware that he was teasing her. Normally, she would have retorted instantly, but today, she had decided to be patient with this stubborn man. Taking a deep breath, she gave him a sweet yet knowing smile, refusing to let his antics get to her.

Kritika: "Main janti hu tumhe pata hai main kya keh rahi hu."

(I know you understand what I’m talking about.)

Aakarsh smiled.

Aakarsh: "Sab karte hai toh zaruri nahi hum bhi kare Meethiye, aap comfortable nahi hai toh bilkul nahi, ye koi compulsion thodi hai."

(Just because everyone does it doesn’t mean we have to. If you’re not comfortable, then absolutely not. It’s not a compulsion.)

She smiled, realizing just how lucky she was to have him in her life. Her heart swelled with gratitude and love as she gazed at him once more. Gently, she cupped his cheeks with both hands, her touch soft and full of affection.

Kritika: "Ziddi insaan kya main kiss kar sakti hu tumhe??"

(Stubborn man, can I… kiss you?)

Aakarsh grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief and certainty. Now, there was no doubt in his mind—she wanted this just as much as he did. His heart swelled with joy as he cherished the silent confession in her gaze.

Aakarsh: "Aaj toh lottery hai meri, karo karo jaldi karo."

(Wow! Today is my lucky day. Go ahead, hurry up!)

Kritika: "Par mujhe aata nahi hai."

(But I don’t know how.)

Aakarsh chuckled.

Aakarsh: "Then let me do the honors, my lady."

Kritika narrowed her eyes and shot him a sharp glare.

Kritika: "Tumne kaha se sikha??"

(Where did you learn this from?)

Aakarsh: "Shut up."

Kritika: "Yo..."

Kritika’s breath hitched as Aakarsh suddenly closed the distance between them, capturing her lips in a deep kiss. Her eyes widened in shock, her heart racing wildly. She could feel the warmth of his hands holding her close, refusing to let go. Aakarsh, sensing her hesitation, gazed into her eyes, silently urging her to trust him. His unspoken words, filled with love and longing, made her heart flutter. Slowly, she let herself melt into the moment, her eyelids fluttering shut as she reciprocated his love. The kiss deepened, filled with passion and unspoken emotions, as if they were trying to make up for all the lost time.

Gently, Aakarsh lowered her to the ground, his arms still wrapped protectively around her. The kiss was no longer just an expression of desire but a promise—of love, of belonging, of forever. Tears welled in both their eyes, overwhelmed by the depth of their emotions. After what felt like an eternity, Kritika, blushing furiously, patted his chest lightly. Aakarsh pulled back just enough to look at her, his intense gaze making her even more flustered. Unable to meet his eyes, she immediately wrapped her arms around him, burying her face in his chest, completely pink with embarrassment. Aakarsh smiled softly, holding her close, his heart swelling with love. This moment—this feeling—was something neither of them would ever forget.

Aakarsh: "Hay o rabba, aap Sharmati bhi hai."

(Oh my God, you blush too!)

Kritika playfully punched Aakarsh on his stomach, making him stumble back slightly. He let out a dramatic gasp, clutching his stomach as if she had actually hurt him.

Kritika: "Main nochti bhi achcha hu billi kehte ho na, noch ke dikhau??"

(And I scratch too! You call me a cat, right? Should I scratch you and show you?)

Aakarsh: "Abhi nahi yaar bola na ye sab Shadi ke baad, tab thodi na rokunga."

(Not now! I already told you, all this after marriage. Then I won’t stop you.)

Kritika placed her hands on Aakarsh’s chest and pushed him back with a sharp glare. He stumbled slightly but quickly regained his balance, smirking at her reaction.

Kritika: "You gande aadmi, aaj toh pitoge tum."

(You dirty man! You’re going to get beaten up today!)

As Aakarsh chuckled mischievously, he suddenly took off running, leaving Kritika momentarily stunned before she burst into laughter and chased after him. The park echoed with their playful laughter as she tried to catch up, but he was just a step ahead, teasing her with his speed. Just when she thought she had almost caught him, Aakarsh swiftly turned around and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, lifting her off the ground. Kritika let out a surprised gasp before dissolving into giggles as he twirled her around. The fairy lights above them shimmered, casting a magical glow on the moment they shared.

As he gently placed her back on the ground, she turned to face him, her eyes filled with love and happiness. Their fingers intertwined naturally, a silent promise passing between them. That evening, under the starry sky, they didn't just share laughter and playful moments—they sealed a promise to walk through life together, hand in hand, forever.

In a cafe,

Rishwik arrived to pick up Riyanshi, exuding effortless charm with his sunglasses on. He leaned casually against his sleek car, legs crossed, engrossed in his phone, radiating an aura of confidence and mystery. The sunlight reflected off his shades, enhancing his already striking presence. His striking appearance wasn’t going unnoticed—every pair of eyes in the café seemed drawn to him.

Inside, Riyanshi sat with her friends, who were shamelessly stealing glances at the man outside. They nudged her playfully, whispering and giggling, bombarding her with questions about how she managed to get such a handsome boyfriend. Riyanshi smirked, enjoying their reactions. With a knowing glint in her eyes, she pulled out her phone and called Rishwik. Outside, Rishwik’s phone buzzed in his hand. He glanced at the screen, saw Riyanshi’s name flashing, and with a small smirk of his own, he picked up the call.

Rishwik: "Aahoo ji heeriye, bahar hi wait kar raha hu darling."

(Aahoo ji, Heeriye, I’m waiting outside, darling.)

Riyanshi: "Andar aao na Rishu kishu."

(Come inside, Rishu Kishu.)

Rishwik: "Jo hukum ma'am."

(As you command, ma’am.)

Both chuckled as Rishwik dashed inside, but the moment he spotted Riyanshi's friends, he straightened up and put on a composed smile. Without saying a word, he walked over to Riyanshi’s side and casually placed his hand on her shoulder, exuding quiet confidence. Riyanshi glanced at him, slightly surprised, before a small smile crept onto her lips, understanding the silent message in his gesture.

Riyanshi: "Rish, meet my friendems this is Divya, Arshi, Soumya."

(Rish, meet my friends—this is Divya, Arshi, and Soumya.)

Rishwik: "Hello wonderful Ladies."

Her friends: "Hiiiii"

Her friends greeted Rishwik in an extremely sweet voice, their tone laced with excitement. Riyanshi, who had been smirking just moments ago, now frowned. She didn’t like the way they were all looking at Rishwik, their eyes twinkling with admiration. Her jaw clenched slightly as she observed their unnecessary enthusiasm.

Rishwik, on the other hand, remained oblivious to her growing irritation and responded with his usual charm. Meanwhile, her friends giggled amongst themselves, stealing glances at him. With a subtle huff, Riyanshi took her seat, and everyone else followed, settling into their respective places. However, her eyes never left Rishwik, silently warning him not to enjoy the attention too much.

Divya: "Oh my God, you are too good-looking, Rish."

Riyanshi turned to glare at her friend, ready to retort, but before she could say anything, Rishwik spoke up, cutting her off smoothly.

Rishwik: "It’s Mr. Rishwik Malhotra, please call me that. Rish is only for my Heeriye."

Riyanshi grinned and glanced at Rishwik, who playfully winked at her, making her cheeks flush slightly.

Arshi: "So, what do you do?"

Rishwik: "I am the CEO of RM Empires."

Soumya: "Damn, man! That means you are the brother of The Rudraksh Malhotra??"

Rishwik simply nodded, a subtle yet knowing smile playing on his lips.

Arshi: "Oh God, you are taken, so please introduce me to your brother."

Rishwik just chuckled, shaking his head in amusement.

Rishwik: "Rudra bhai is married, ma’am."

Arshi, Divya, Soumya: "Whhaatttt???? Ye bhi gaya hath se."

(Whaaaattt???? He’s taken too?)

The three of them shouted in unison, their voices echoing with sadness. Rishwik, however, simply chuckled and nodded, amused by the situation. Meanwhile, Riyanshi was fuming, feeling irritated that he was laughing at her friends’ nonsensical talks instead of siding with her. Just then, the waiter arrived with the bill. Riyanshi immediately reached for her purse to pay, but before she could, Rishwik swiftly took care of it, settling the bill without giving her a chance.

Arshi: "Rishwik, you didn’t have to..."

Rishwik: "No issues."

Rishwik smiled at her, and that was it—Riyanshi had enough. She quickly stood up, grabbed his hand, and pulled him up with determination, making him stand beside her.

Riyanshi: "Bye, girls. Rishu has some important work."

Rishwik was utterly confused, but before he could process anything, Riyanshi grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of the cafe in haste. The girls didn’t even get a chance to bid them goodbye. Once outside, Riyanshi abruptly stopped and turned to him, her eyes blazing with frustration as she glared at him, arms crossed, clearly waiting for an explanation.

Rishwik: "What??"

Riyanshi: "Itni kya hasi aa rahi thi aapko andar?? Aur kyu kiya bill pay??"

(What was so funny inside? And why did you pay the bill??)

Rishwik: "Areh tumhari dost thi na, and mere hote huye ladkiya pay kare achcha lagta hai??"

(Well, they were your friends, and does it look good if girls pay when I’m around?)

Riyanshi: "Us kanjus Arshi ki bday party thi, lootne ka plan banaya tha humne."

(It was that miser Arshi’s birthday party. We had planned to make her pay!)

Rishwik: "Ohh, I'm so sorry."

Riyanshi: "Aur ye kya style maar ke khade the yaha?? Aur itni baatein kya kar rahe the, aur ye kya goggles pehen rakha hai, haa unko impress karne ko??"

(And what was that style you were showing off? And what were you talking about so much? And why were you wearing those sunglasses—was it to impress them??)

Rishwik’s eyes widened at Riyanshi’s completely baseless allegations, but within moments, he understood the real reason behind her outburst—she was jealous. A playful smirk appeared on his lips as he decided to tease her. Leaning down slightly to match her height, he looked directly into her eyes, his smirk deepening.

Rishwik: "Ohh, so little Miss is jealous."

Riyanshi: "Main baat hi nhi karungi aapse, jao unke pass hi."

(I won’t talk to you anymore. Go to them instead!)

Riyanshi began walking towards the car, her steps firm with feigned indifference. Rishwik, on the other hand, couldn’t hold back his amusement and chuckled. With a playful smirk, he started singing Lamborghini, his voice teasing as he followed behind her, enjoying her reaction.

Rishwik: "Mera Ki Kasoor Tuhiyon Intro Karaya Si

Ankhiyan Na Lad Jaan Taan Hi Goggle Paaya Si"

Riyanshi couldn't help but smile at his antics, but she maintained her composure and kept walking, pretending not to be affected by his playful teasing.

Riyanshi: "Gallan Jhootiyan Banayi Jaane O Gallan Jhootiyan Banayi Jaane O"

Rishwik swiftly grabbed her hand and spun her around, making her twirl effortlessly. Riyanshi let out a soft giggle, her eyes sparkling with joy.

Rishwik: "Report Saddi Check Kar Lo

Ainve Gallan Nu Badhayi Jaane O

Report Saddi Check Kar Lo

Ainve Gallan Nu Badhayi Jaane O"

He gently pulled her towards him, closing the distance between them. Riyanshi didn’t resist; instead, she wrapped her arms around him in a warm embrace, resting her head against his chest. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she melted into his hold, feeling the comforting rhythm of his heartbeat.

Riyanshi: "Heehee, mazaak tha."

(Heehee, I was joking.)

Rishwik: "Janta hu"

(I know.)

Both chuckled, the tension between them melting into something lighter. Rishwik, ever the gentleman, walked over and opened the car door for Riyanshi. She gave him a small smile before settling inside. Sliding into the driver’s seat, Rishwik started the car and drove off without revealing their destination. The ride was peaceful, the silence between them comfortable. After a while, the car came to a stop at a secluded hilltop, far away from the city’s chaos. The view was breathtaking—just the two of them under the open sky.

Riyanshi reached for the door handle, ready to step out, but before she could, Rishwik gently grabbed her wrist, stopping her. She turned to look at him, confusion flickering in her eyes. Rishwik removed his goggles, his intense gaze locking onto hers. Without a word, he reached for her hand, intertwining their fingers. His touch was firm yet gentle, making her heart race.

Rishwik: "Heeriye, main tumhe yaha kuch batane ke liye laya hu."

(Heeriye, I brought you here to tell you something.)

Riyanshi: "kya??"

(What??)

Rishwik: "I don’t know how you’ll react, but I just want transparency in our relationship, isiliye batana zaruri hai tumhe, aage decision jo bhi ho tumhara."

(which is why it’s important to tell you. Whatever decision you make after this will be yours.)

Riyanshi: "Rish, dara rahe hai aap mujhe."

(Rish, you’re scaring me.)

Rishwik gently ran his fingers over her hands, his touch soft and comforting. He traced small circles on her skin.

Rishwik: "Meri heeriye, ye meri zindagi ka sabse bada sach aur zarurat hai."

(My Heeriye, this is the biggest truth and necessity of my life.)

Riyanshi gazed up at him, her eyes searching his face for unspoken emotions. Rishwik, feeling the intensity of her stare, lowered his head and shut his eyes, as if surrendering to the moment. A soft breath escaped his lips, his grip on her hands tightening slightly, as if he never wanted to let go.

Rishwik: "I’m associated with the Mafia."

Riyanshi's eyes widened in surprise, her breath hitching for a moment.

Riyanshi: "Rishuu ...."

Rishwik looked at her intently for a moment before nodding.

Rishwik: "Yes, I am an Asian Mafia member, and Rudra bhai is Leo, the Mafia King. In fact, even the Ex-Mafia King is Kartavya bhai."

Riyanshi sat frozen, her mind struggling to process his words. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Rishwik, trying to find any hint of mischief on his face. He must be joking… right? she thought, her heart pounding. But the seriousness in his gaze sent a shiver down her spine, making her question everything.

Riyanshi: "Mazaak hai na ye??"

(This is a joke, right??)

Rishwik: "Nahi Riyu, yehi hi sach."

(No, Riyu. This is the truth.)

Riyanshi: "Par kyu?"

(But why?)

Rishwik: "Par ye humare past ki vajah se zarurat hai humari, and my past is...."

(Because of our past, it was a necessity for us. And my past is...)

Rishwik took a deep breath and began explaining everything to Riyanshi—his past, the terrifying terrorist attack at their house in Punjab, and how they had uncovered the truth behind it. He revealed that their ultimate goal was to find the person responsible for the attack, and that was the very reason they had stepped into the dangerous world of the Mafia.

He also told her about Ruhanika, their ongoing mission, and the lengths they were going to in order to seek justice. As Riyanshi listened, her expression shifted from curiosity to complete shock. She hadn't expected such a deep and painful history behind their actions.

Rishwik: "Bas yehi 2 maqsad hai humari life ke, isiliye Mafia join Kiya hai maine and bhai ne... I know it's risky isiliye tumhe pehle hi sab bata diya hai ab decision tumhara hai. I'm fine even if you decide to leave..."

(These are the only two purposes in our lives. That’s why bhai and I joined the Mafia… I know it’s risky, which is why I told you everything beforehand. Now, the decision is yours. I’m fine even if you decide to leave…)

A sharp slap echoed in the air as it landed on Rishwik's cheek. Stunned, he looked at Riyanshi with wide eyes, his hand instinctively reaching up to touch his stinging cheek. Tears welled up in Riyanshi’s eyes, her emotions overwhelming her. Without a second thought, she threw herself into Rishwik’s arms, wrapping him in a tight embrace. Her sobs muffled against his chest as she clung to him, unable to contain the pain and shock she felt after hearing everything.

Riyanshi: "Aapne socha bhi kaise main aapko chod dungi haa?? Vo bhi itna sab janne ke baad?? Itni selfish samajhte hai aap mujhe??"

(How could you even think that I would leave you? That too, after knowing everything? Do you really think I’m that selfish??)

Rishwik's lips curled into a soft smile as he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. His embrace was warm and reassuring, making Riyanshi feel safe and cherished. She sighed contentedly, nestling deeper into his hold, as if this was the place she truly belonged.

Rishwik: "Selfish nahi par jealous toh ho tum."

(Not selfish, but you are jealous.)

Riyanshi: "Ha toh mere maal pe koi Nazar dalega toh gussa nahi aayega kya and now Shut up nahi toh aur marungi."

(Yes, of course! If someone looks at my man, won’t I get angry? And now shut up, or I’ll hit you more.)

Rishwik: "Main bhi utha ke fek dunga."

(I’ll pick you up and throw you.)

Riyanshi: "Chalega life time fekte raho, bas apne pass hi rakhna and gym wali hot pic dikhao."

(That’s fine, throw me all you want, just keep me close to you. Now show me that gym hot pic!)

Rishwik let out a soft chuckle, the sound vibrating against her as he tightened his hold around her. His arms encircled her securely, as if he never wanted to let go. Riyanshi smiled against his chest, feeling the warmth of his embrace, her heart fluttering at the tenderness between them.

Rishwik: "I promise, kabhi kuch nahi hone dunga tumhe."

(I promise, I will never let anything happen to you.)

Both smiled, lost in the warmth of each other's embrace.

At Avyukta's house,

Avyukta lay on the bed, her face pale and her eyes heavy with exhaustion. Amandeep sat beside her, gently placing a cool, damp cloth on her forehead, his brows furrowed with worry. He watched her with concern, softly whispering reassurances, hoping to ease her discomfort.

Amandeep: "Kuch din ke liye bahar gaya aur ye haal kar liya tumne apna"

(I went away for a few days, and look at the state you’ve put yourself in.)

Avyukta: "Weather change se hua hai deep, itna daanto nahi."

(It’s because of the weather change, Deep, don’t scold me.)

Amandeep: "Chup ekdum, kitni baar kaha hai ki uncle aunty ko bula lo lekin sunna hi nahi hai."

(Shut up! How many times have I told you to call Uncle and Aunty? But you never listen!)

Avyukta: "Chacha chachi kab tak meri zimmedari uthayenge deep, unke apne bachche bhi toh hai, vaise hi papa ke baad bahaut kiya hai unhone."

(Chacha and Chachi can’t take care of me forever, Deep. They have their own children too. They’ve already done a lot for me after Papa passed away.)

Amandeep's heart clenched as he noticed the moisture gathering in Avyukta's eyes. With utmost tenderness, he caressed her cheek, his thumb brushing away an unshed tear. Feeling his warmth, Avyukta slowly reached up and held his hand, seeking comfort in his touch. Their eyes met, speaking volumes in silence, as he squeezed her hand gently, silently promising to stay by her side.

Avyukta: "Papa kyu chale gaye deep?? Kya main itni buri hu ki sab chale gaye??"

(Papa, why did you leave, Deep? Am I so bad that everyone leaves me?)

Amandeep gently pulled Avyukta up and wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. As soon as she felt his warmth, she broke down, tears spilling down her cheeks. He rubbed her back soothingly, whispering soft reassurances in her ear, letting her release all the emotions she had been holding in. His embrace tightened protectively, silently telling her that she wasn’t alone—that he was there, always.

Amandeep: "Shh Yuku, rote nahi hai bachcha, sab thik ho jaye, hum apne maqsad ke bahaut kareeb hai, you know unhe hosh aane wala hai."

(Shhh, Yuku, don’t cry, baby. Everything will be fine. We are very close to our goal, you know that. She is going to regain consciousness soon.)

Avyukta slowly pulled back, her teary eyes meeting Amandeep’s concerned gaze. She sniffled and tried to compose herself, but the warmth of his touch still lingered. Amandeep gently cupped her face, wiping away her tears with his thumbs.

Avyukta: "Aunty ko hosh aane wala hai??"

(Aunty is going to wake up??)

Amandeep: "Yeppp, unko hosh aate hi hume sab pata chal jayega. Hume pata chal jayega kya hua tha us raat kaise hua sab kuch."

(Yep! As soon as she regains consciousness, we will find out everything. We will know what happened that night and how everything unfolded.)

Avyukta: "Papa ko pata chal gaya tha aisa kuch hone wala hai, papa gaye the sabko bachane par vo khud bhi vapas nahi aaye."

(Papa knew something was going to happen. He went to save everyone, but he never came back himself…)

Avyukta's tears started flowing again, and before she could say anything, Amandeep pulled her into a tight hug. He held her close, rubbing her back soothingly.

Amandeep: "Shh rote nahi hai yuku, hum badla lenge na, Rudra bhai kisi ko nahi chodenge Jaydeep uncle, Malhotra uncle se sabse khaas member the, bhai nahi chodenge kisi ko sabka hisaab hoga."

(Shhh, don’t cry, Yuku. We will take revenge. Rudra bhai won’t spare anyone. Jaydeep Uncle and Malhotra Uncle were the most important members—bhai will make sure everyone pays for it.)

Avyukta: "Main bhi usi ka intezar kar rahi hu."

(I’m waiting for that day too.)

Amandeep: "Shhh, ab chup Varna tabiyat aur kharab ho jayegi."

(Shhh, now stop crying, or your health will get worse.)

Slowly, Avyukta's sobs quieted, and Amandeep gently guided her back to lie down. He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, his touch soft and reassuring, ensuring she was comfortable before sitting beside her, watching over her with concern.

Amandeep: "Aur ye sab khatam hote hi hum shadi kar rahe hai, main nahi rehne dene wala tumhe akele samjhi na??"

(And as soon as all this is over, we are getting married. I won’t let you stay alone anymore, understand?)

Avyukta smiled shyly, her cheeks tinged with a soft blush as she lowered her gaze, feeling a warmth spread through her heart.

Avyukta: "Main toh ab bhi ready hu."

(I’m ready even now.)

Amandeep chuckled, shaking his head in amusement before gently placing the cool cloth back on Avyukta’s forehead. His touch was tender, his eyes filled with quiet affection as he ensured her comfort.

Amandeep: "Chup kar pagal."

(Shut up, you idiot.)

Avyukta: "Okay lekin bol rahi hu main pink colour ka hi joda pehnungi."

(Okay, but I’m telling you—I’ll only wear a pink wedding dress.)

Amandeep: "Haa baba yaad hai mujhe pink theme, ab so jao."

(Yeah, yeah, I remember, pink theme. Now go to sleep.)

Avyukta: "Haa aur hum twinning bhi karenge aur...."

(Yes, and we’ll twin our outfits too, and...)

Avyukta continued sharing her dreamy marriage fantasies, her voice growing softer with each word. Amandeep listened patiently, a gentle smile playing on his lips as he kept dabbing the cool cloth on her forehead. His soothing touch and calming presence lulled her into a peaceful slumber, her breathing steadying as she drifted off.
