Chapter 2064

The Almighty Dragon General

Meanwhile, James furrowed his brows.

The person in the lead was Tristen. James never expected Tristen to be such a popular man.

James recognized a few of the people standing behind Tristen. He noticed the Son of Heaven, Xain,

Samarth, and Yandel.

There were a number of people that James had never seen before.

Ć¢Ā€ĀœCity Lord.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Seeing Tristen coming outside, the guards regarded him respectfully.

Tristen gently waved his hand.

The guards purposefully stepped aside to make a path for him.

Tristen walked toward James and stood a few meters away from him. He looked at James, and a smile

formed on his handsome face. Ć¢Ā€ĀœYou must be James, right?Ć¢Ā€Ā

James replied, Ć¢Ā€ĀœYeah.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Tristen said softly, Ć¢Ā€ĀœDid you know that fighting is prohibited in Hazted City? I established the rule to

create a peaceful city, but you killed someone and broke the rules after stepping into my city. If I don’t

teach you a lesson today, everyone will follow suit in the future, and Hazted City will descend into

chaos.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Although he had a smile, Tristen’s tone was incredibly tyrannical.

Ć¢Ā€ĀœHa!Ć¢Ā€Ā

James snickered and said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœDo you think Hazted City is the only place governed by rules? Do you think

there aren’t any laws on Earth? So you’re saying Outsiders can kill and sell earthlings like slaves as

they please? That man trafficked humans from Earth and that goes against the things I stand for. He

deserved to die.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Faced with Tristen, James showed no fear.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Tristen clapped his hands and the crowd began to applaud.

The people standing behind Tristen watched the scene as if it was a movie. To them, James’ fate was

as good as sealed.

After he was done clapping, Tristen looked at James and said with a smile, Ć¢Ā€ĀœOne needs to have

strength if they want to keep their dignity. If you refuse to be beaten or trafficked, you’ll have to have

the strength to protect yourselves. UnfortunatelyĆ¢Ā€Ā¦Ć¢Ā€Ā

Tristen looked at James and said slowly, Ć¢Ā€ĀœEarthlings don’t seem to have the strength, do they?Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœHahaĆ¢Ā€Ā¦Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœThe City Lord’s right!Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœIf you want to be respected, you must have the strength to earn it!Ć¢Ā€Ā

Tristen’s words received a lot of cheers from the crowd.

Hearing this, James laughed.

He was wondering how to bring up his intent to challenge the Son of Heaven.

Since Tristen made such a bold statement, it made things easier for him. He smiled faintly and said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœI

must prove my strength, right?Ć¢Ā€Ā

Tristen nodded and said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœThat’s right. You have to prove your strength, but do you have what it takes?Ć¢Ā€Ā

James maintained his composure and replied, Ć¢Ā€ĀœIf that’s the case, am I allowed to challenge an

Outsider?Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœChallenge?Ć¢Ā€Ā

Tristen was surprised by the request and burst out laughing. Ć¢Ā€ĀœOf course. Who do you want to

challenge?Ć¢Ā€Ā

James pointed at the Son of Heaven standing behind Tristen and said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœI’d like to challenge him.Ć¢Ā€Ā

The Son of Heaven was surprised to see James pointing at him. He walked over with a smile. and

looked at James contemptuously, Ć¢Ā€ĀœWhat did you say? Did you just say you want to challenge me?Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœThat’s right. Do you have the guts to accept it?Ć¢Ā€Ā

James looked at the Son of Heaven and said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœIt’ll be a fight to the finish. The winner shall live, and the

loser will die. Are you brave enough to accept the challenge?Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœWhy not?Ć¢Ā€Ā

The Son of Heaven was incensed.

As the disciple of the Overworld’s strongest martial artist, he was always treated respectfully regardless

of where he went. Yet, James challenged him as if he was a nobody.

Ć¢Ā€ĀœGood.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Tristen interjected. Ć¢Ā€ĀœIf you defeat the Son of Heaven, your crime will be pardoned. HoweverĆ¢Ā€Ā¦Ć¢Ā€Ā His tone

became hostile as he said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœIf you’re defeated, you will die, and I’ll send my men to wipe off one city

from the face of this planet.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœAlright.Ć¢Ā€Ā James agreed to the condition without any hesitation.
