Chapter 2130

The night descended upon the Land of Tabal as stars illuminated the pitch-black sky.

After James left the canyon, he entered a pristine forest. As he was not in a hurry at the moment, he

stopped and made a bonfire before taking a rest.

As he knew little about this world, he decided against finding his way in the dark and planned to make

his next course of action tomorrow morning.

In the forest, he hunted an animal and roasted the meat on the bonfire.

The smell of meat was mouth-watering. Looking at the meat before him, James licked his lips in

delight. After taking a sniff, he took a bite of the roasted meat. Immediately, the captivating smell of

meat filled the air.

The sound of fighting could be heard in the distance.

Then, he heard the sound of hurried footsteps.

Immediately, furrowing his eyebrows, James appeared on a tree in the blink of an eye and scanned his

surroundings. Then, he saw a fierce battle taking place in the distance.

A few men in black robes and wearing black masks were fighting against a group of armor- clad

warriors.

The battle was fierce. The armor-clad warriors who were slowly losing ground were being killed.

There was also a woman wearing a white dress among the armor-clad warriors. Holding a sword and

exuding Sword Energy, she kept slashing at the incoming opponents.

However, although she was strong, the opponents had far superior numbers. As such, she had

suffered injuries, and her dress was blood-stained.

James witnessed the whole scene clearly.

The number of the armor-clad warriors slowly dwindled to about a dozen from the original hundred.

Meanwhile, the woman in a white dress was shielded on all sides by the warriors.

There were about three hundred cultivators wearing black robes surrounding them.

A man wearing a red mask walked over to them and spoke in a hoarse voice, “Your Highness, hand

over the thing and you might die with your body intact.”

“I’ll fight to the death!” a warrior roared and charged at the cultivator.

However, before he could even approach the man, a wave of Sword Energy shredded through the air

and sliced him in half.

The woman was in a wretched state. Her hair was disheveled, and there were blood traces on her lips.

Her expression darkened as she said coldly, “Dream on! Save your breath and get on with it already!”

“Hahaha!” The man laughed coldly, “Think again, Your Highness. You are a princess and the most

beautiful woman in all of the Empire of Tabal. You don’t understand how many men lust for your body.

How long do you think you can last against my three hundred men?”

“Y-You…!”

The woman’s face contorted with rage.

Holding a sword in his hand, the man in a red mask walked over to the woman.

Meanwhile, the woman only had a dozen warriors by her side. Her face turned grim as she clenched

her sword tightly.

James saw everything from the tree.

“Is she a princess?”

James came to the Land of Tabal in search of food so that the humans on Earth could last through the

First Calamity.

In his opinion, he needed to befriend some powerful figures. However, he did not expect to come

across a princess on his first day here.

“Maybe I’ll obtain some food after saving her,” he murmured.

With that thought in mind, he leaped from the tree and landed steadily on the ground before the

princess.

Seeing this, the men in black robes unconsciously took a few steps back.

“Who are you?” Alarmed, the man in a red mask said, “This is the Dark Keep’s business. Stay out of

this.”
