Briscoe attacked with lightning speed. Before James could even react, he had already appeared in

front of James.

James raised the Demon-Slayer Sword to block his attack.

After Briscoe revealed the true form of his powers, James backed away.

“I surrender.”

James felt that he had done enough to convince everyone watching and immediately forfeited the

match. Briscoe stopped attacking and released his murderous intent.

James put away the Demon-Slayer Sword, wiped the blood from his lips, and looked at Briscoe in

mock amazement. ” Incredible. You’re too powerful for me. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a

wonderful fight. Unfortunately, we’d end up fighting to the death if this continued. I admit my defeat.”

After speaking, James turned to the Omnipotent Lord in the distance and said, “I’ve lost, Omnipotent

Lord. I’m not qualified to become the Deputy Universe Lord. I’ll take my leave now.”

James walked away after bidding farewell.

The Omnipotent Lord stopped him, “Wait.”

He took a step forward, appearing before James. The Omnipotent Lord looked at James approvingly

and praised him, ‘You’re quite impressive, James. I’m very satisfied with your performance in this

battle. Although I can’t make you the Deputy Universe Lord, the Ancestral Holy Site lacks a Protector. If

you’re willing, you can take on that position. You’d only be beneath the Universe Lord and Deputy

Universe Lord.”

“Uhm…” James rubbed his chin, pretending to consider the offer.

The Omnipotent Lord said, “It’s the highest position I can offer you. The Ancestral Holy Site is where

our universe’s luck gathers. If you cultivate there, it’ll be greatly beneficial. With your potential, I’m sure

you’ll surpass the Macrocosm Ancestral God Rank and enter the Acme Rank soon.”

James cast a glance at the Omnipotent Lord. Knowledge of the Acme Rank is only known to

powerhouses in the Dark World. Beings from the Illuminated World were oblivious to the rank’s

existence. However, the Omnipotent Lord clearly was aware of it.

World.

The Omnipotent Lord patted James’ shoulder and laughed out loud.

“Once I step into the Acme Rank, and find the remaining Universe Seeds, I’ll stimulate the formation of

these universes, and merge them into a Super Universe. Then, we’ll join forces to bring down the Dark

World.”
