Chapter 491
The Almighty Dragon General
Thea was responsive. She hugged James back and snuggled in his arms.
Jamesâ thoughts were running at a thousand kilometers per hour. He tossed them away and started to
kiss her.
âAh,â Thea gasped in shock as she pushed him away. James licked his lips as he smiled satisfactorily.
He wanted to have his way with his beautiful wife, but after giving it some thought, he decided to wait
until after their wedding day. Itâd be better if everything was settled by then.
âItâs nothing, good night.â
James grinned like a schoolboy in love. A kiss was enough for him for now.
He closed his eyes as he wrapped his arms around Thea. Thea blushed. She could not help but smile
happily watching this wonderful man sleep beside her.

The night slipped away silently. The next morning James woke up in the afternoon. Lex, Howard, John,
and Benjamin were in his house. Other than them, none of the other Callahan family members showed
up.
When James walked out of his groggily, he quickly snapped awake after seeing them in his house.
âGrandpa, uncle, good morning.â Lex turned and addressed him, âJames.â
John faced James immediately and exclaimed in gratitude, âJames, thank you so much for last night. If
it wasnât for you, my son would still be tortured in the police station.â James let out a sleepy yawn and
chuckled.
âThatâs nothing. All I did was call Xara from Transgenerational. She was the one who did all the work.â
Gladys was upset, as usual. She was displeased at the fact that James was taking the credit for
helping Lex when he himself was so incompetent he needed to rely on someone else for help.
Especially when that someone was Xara Hill.
One of her family members.
She butted in, pridefully, âThatâs true, you canât imagine the influence us Hills have. The Hills were the
only ones to help the Callahans when youâre in trouble.â
Jaines ignored her. âGrandpa, what brought you here?â Lex went back to looking downcast.
âI thought about it yesterday. I donât think this is going to work. Hence, I came here today to ask for your
help. We donât need to regain our wealth, we just want to survive and live peacefully.â
That was the end of Lexâs dream. All he wanted was for the Callahans to establish themselves as an
upper-class family. In what seemed like the blink of an eye, all his efforts over the years had been
reduced to almost nothing.
Lex was done having any more aspirations.
Now, he just wished for his family to have a roof over their heads, stable jobs, and comfortable life.
Right now, Lex seemed like a tiger who had lost his fangs. The pride he had in his glory days was all
gone.
âFeel free to discuss your options.â James later turned to Thea.
âDarling, Iâm off to work now. Call me if you need anything.â
âOkay,â Thea nodded. James just needed to give himself an excuse to leave the house. He left for
Common Clinic to see May, who had changed her name. On his way, he called Jake.
âYes, boss?â Jake was a shrewd man, he quickly complied with Jamesâ orders
âYouâre the genius doctor, Doctor Fallon. With your connections, you must know some important folks
in the medical world. Do you know if there is a Doctor King in Sol? Oh right, his nickname is Miracle
Working Doctor Kinglâ. Have you heard of the guy?â
Jay hesitated for a second before he answered, âThat guy is not a Sol citizen, he is from Goryeo. He is
a famous medical savant in his country, and his medical skills are deserving of the reputation they
have. Five years ago, I met him when I was heading to Goryeo, and I had a small conversation with
him. Although he came from Goryeo, he had a very profound understanding of Solean medicineâ¦â
Jay continued, âIn Goryeo, medicine is called âGoryeon medicineâ. Goryeon medicine used to be a
branch of Solean medicine, but according to him, it was Solean medicine that was based off Goryeon
medicine, and Goryeon medicine was medicine in its truest form.â
Jay quickly gave a brief summary of the man James was interested in.
âI want all of this guyâs information,â James demanded in an uncompromising tone.
âThis might be difficult, boss. My network still hasnât spread to other countries yet.â
âFind a way. Report back before tonight.â James hung up.
