Chapter 493
The Almighty Dragon General
The first thing he did after he woke up was head to the city.He drove to the city, found a busy noodle
restaurant, and ordered a bowl of mutton noodles,
This restaurant was doing well, the tables were all fully seated.
James managed to snag the only empty table, so he sat there and waited for his order..
Just then, a dark-haired woman in a long, black dress and a pair of sunglasses on her face arrived.
She looked around for a seat, but only Jamesâs table had another unoccupied seat. She exchanged
polite smiles with James before she sat down in front of him. A waiter passed them by, and she
ordered, âOne mutton noodles, large, extra mutton, and noodles, please.â
James did not pay attention to the person in front of him. He was occupied with a game on his mobile
phone.
Cynthia Dawn looked around curiously after she placed her order. Finally, her eyes settled on James,
and she asked him seriously, âWhat game are you playing, sir?â

James looked up from her phone at her.He said, âAm I that old? Iâm 27.â
Cynthia pulled a face at him. â27 is old.â
James studied her.
Although she was sitting, he guessed her height must be around 170 centimeters. She had a good
figure, the dress conformed to her curves well. Oversized sunglasses covered half of her face, but he
could still see her fair skin and delicate features.
She was a youthful beauty.
Cynthia took her sunglasses off, revealing her big, lively eyes. âIs that game really that much fun? Look
at this hottie in front of you. Arenât I worth your attention?â
Cynthia seemed confident in her appeal.
Just then, the waiter came with a bowl of noodles, âSir, this is yours, please enjoy.â
James immediately chowed down. He did not pay any heed Cynthia, which made her frustrated. Being
the number one beauty queen of the North, she was used to being the center of attention wherever she
went.
However, here she was in Cansington being blatantly ignored. âHeyâ¦â
She snatched Jamesâs chopsticks away.
âAre you crazy?!â James yelled angrily, âYou should check in to a loony bin if thatâs the case!â
As he spoke, he took his chopsticks back.
A group of people rushed into the restaurant.
âGet out!â A middle-aged man cried, âEverybody, go away!â The people in the restaurant knew
somebody important was there, and they all stood up and left.
The man walked to Cynthia and addressed her courteously.
âMy lady.â
âHmph, boring,â Cynthia pouted.
âYou guys found me.â
The man looked at James, and signaled to the men donning black suits behind him, âGet this guy to the
back, cut off his legs and gauge out his eyes.â
Cynthia stood up as soon as she heard the order.
âLuther, what are you doing?!â
âHmph,â Luther scowled at James.
âHow dare he take something from your hands?â Cynthia warned him.
âHe is my friend, do not do anything to him.â
James ignored the commotion and kept eating. Cynthia tried to pull him away from the table.
âStop eating! youâre going die if we donât leave right now.â She eventually dragged James off in her
hands.
âI-I havenât finished my noodles⦠what⦠let me go!â
Cynthia dragged him all the way out and screeched at Luther. âDo not follow me, Luther!â
âStop them.â The man barked.
Dozens of men in black suits stood before Cynthia and James.
