Chapter 77
Untamed: The Alpha
77 TAKE CARE OF HER
Chaos stared at Blueâs sleeping face for a while, before he walked to the other side of Knoxâs huge bed and tucked her under a blanket. He wiped the strands of her hair off of her face and then walked toward Knoxâs side to see his other shattered soul.
The pain in every step that he took was excruciating, but aside from the slight furrow between his brows, there was no other way to tell that he was in pain.
Once Chaos was beside Knox, he put his hand on his forehead.
Chaos could eliminate Knox right there and then and took his strength that was in him back, to make himself feel better and subside the pain a little bit, so he didnât need to suffer or to go through this, but he needed Knox to be alive.
A moment later, Knox opened his eyes and their dark blue eyes met.
âYou found her,â he said in a hoarse voice, as he turned his head to the side and saw Blue sleeping soundly beside him. The little girl curled her body, hugging the blanket to find comfort, as her lips opened slightly.
âTake care of her.â It was a warning from Chaos. He didnât want the same thing to happen again to her or her to go through such pain again, but moreover, there wouldnât be another chance for him to save her, since this would be the last time he could bend the rules of the two realms for his own, selfish interests.
Knox shifted his attention back to Chaos, and looked at him questioningly. âWhat happened to you?â he knew from Chaosâ expression that he was in pain, but why didnât he feel anything? Did he take the brunt?
But, he didnât get the answer for that or for other questions that bothered his mind, because Chaos disappeared into thin air, without saying anything aside from warning him to take care of Blue.

====================
Anne didnât have much choice but to bring July to Knoxâs room, but when she arrived there, she was very shocked to see that Knox had woken up, but the most shocking part was when she saw Blue was there as well...
âKnox?â Anne called him, as that man had his back facing the door, while he stared at Blue, who was sleeping on his bed.
Upon hearing his name being called, Knox turned around, only to find July had come. He furrowed his brows. âWhy are you here?â
On the other hand, July walked into the room, she moved very elegantly, but the moment she was only a step away from him, she grabbed a pillow from his back and smacked it across his face.
âThatâs how you greet me? Why am I here?â July screamed in annoyance. She felt very ridiculous to come here and took the risk of threatening the other supernatural creature, only to hear a question; âWhy are you here?!?â
No, July wasnât pleased with that.
âI am very worried about you, but you donât even feel happy to see me!? How dare you?!â July hit Knox again.
However, when Anne wanted to stop her, Knox raised his hand to stop her. âPlease, leave us for a while.â
âBut,â Anne wanted to say that she wanted to take Blue with her, yet her body moved without her consent, sending her out of the room as the door closed right before her eyes.
âPlease, stop it, okay... I am sorry.â
âIâm worried about you, but you donât even care!â
July stopped hitting Knox and only then he could see how much he had made his woman worried. Tears welled up in her eyes, as her face turned red because she got agitated.
Knox took a deep breath and sighed deeply. âI am truly sorry,â he said softly and took her hand to pull her close to him. âI didnât mean to make you worried.â
July struggled for a bit longer to insinuate that she was still really upset with his reaction, but then she relented and hugged him back.
âI am really worried about you.â She rested her head against his chest and murmured. âAfter the earthquake, I canât reach you and you have not even tried to call me.â
Knox furrowed his brows.
âHow long has it been since the earthquake?â he asked. It seemed he had just slept for a few hours, but he could be wrong.
And he was indeed completely wrong.
âSeven days.â
âSeven days?â Knox was in distress. He had been unconscious for so long...
âWhere have you been during that time?â Anne didnât say anything about Knox being unconscious, since she didnât ask her either, but when July freed herself from his hug, from the corner of her eyes, she saw someone else there. âWho are you!?â She was almost screaming because she was surprised to find another woman in Knoxâs bed.
No, she was not a woman, she was a little girl.
âWho is she?â July asked again in a low voice this time, pointing her finger at the white haired little girl, who was staring at her for who knew how long. âWho are you?â
âI am Blue, his daughter,â Blue said. Her hazel eyes looked at the two of them in annoyance.
Knox rolled his eyes when he heard that and July laughed at it. She knew who Blue was and why she called him her father.
âYou are so cute,â July said, stretching out her hand and was about to tousle her hair, but Knox caught her wrist first and prevented his woman from doing so.
At a single glance, Knox knew that Blue was upset. And, she tended to claw people whenever she was in a bad mood, he didnât want to deal with that this time.
âWhere is Chaos?â Blue fixed her eyes on Knox after she scanned the entire room and couldnât find the man there. âHe was here before.â
âHe is not here.â
