“Which way should i go?” Aiden asked “That way the attendant pointed in a direction Aiden expressed his gratitude and quickly ran towards that direction It seems like Alex has really come! He probably just forgot to contact me!

Thank goodness As long as I find him, everything will be fine!

Aiden searched everywhere, not leaving any corner unexplored. But the amusement park was crowded with people! His vision was starting to blur, yet he couldn’t find the familiar figure “Aiden, what are you looking for?” Suddenly, he heard Emmett’s voice.

“1. Aiden blurted out that he was looking for his mommy. However, seeing Emmett s expression, he swallowed his words. “I’m looking for a fun attraction”

Emmett glanced at his watch “I have a meeting Do you want to continue playing here by yourself or come back with me?”

Upon hearing that, Alden immediately said, “But you promised to accompany me today! Why do you have something else.

“It’s an impromptu meeting” Emmett glanced at him “Ill make it up to you when I have time.”

Aiden grew anxious and quickly grabbed his arm. “Dad, can you stay with me a little longer? Just for a while!”

His sudden action puzzled Emmett “What do you have in mind” Speak up! I don’t like children who lie”

Aiden lowered his head. I. I just want a mommy…”

Emmett frowned, “All you need to do is focus on your studies. Don’t meddle in adult affairs! If you don’t behave, I won’t take you out anymore.”

“I’m sorry, Dad.”

“I have to go, are you coming back with me?”

Aiden nodded, “Okay.”

“Let’s go.”

What a bummer, today’s plan was a bust!

Aiden thought “Next time I see Alex, I’m going to give him a piece of my mind! It was his idea to come up with all these plans, and now he’s nowhere to be found!”

Clara spent a long time with her son at the amusement park. They only headed home in the afternoon after grabbing some burgers.

But she was on edge the entire ride back, afraid of running into Emmett!

In the car, Alex couldn’t help reminiscing about the fun they had, “Mummy, the lady at the carousel said I have beautiful eyes! She thought I was a girl.”

“You’re indeed very pretty. If you had long hair, you’d definitely pass for a girl!”

“So when she asked me to take off my mask for a closer look, I did Clara was startled, “Didn’t Mummy tell you not to take off your mask in crowded places?”

Clara reached over to pat her son’s head, sighing in resignation, “Alex, do you resent Mummy? Do you blame me for not giving you a complete family?”

Innocent Alex blinked, “Why do I have to have a complete family? I already have a lot of restrictions with only you taking care of me. If I had a dad too, wouldn’t I be even more restricted?”

Clara was at a loss.

“I heard on TV that it’s pretty miserable for women to grow old without a man. That’s why I suggested you get a boyfriend!”
