Chapter 152
Back to the Past: Breaking the Love Spell
She only realized it was Carlise who was holding her hand after the student in front of Wanda walked
away.
Her cheeks flushed red instantly, and she felt like burying her head in her collar.
Carlisle chuckled lightly, released Wandaâs hand, picked up his phone, and walked away.
A few boys from Class 3B were whispering to each other.
H
âWhoâs that guy? How dare he take advantage of my goddess?â
âThatâs Carlisle from Class 3A. Heâs in for it later!â
Hearing their conversation, Wanda remembered Carlisle had offended a group of seniors earlier. He
was even warned not to leave school after class.
Wanda frowned slightly and quickly sent a message to Carlisle on MSN messenger.
Wanda: âCarlisle, are you leaving school?â
Carlisle: âYeah, why?â
Wanda: âThey might cause trouble for you. Donât leave!â
Carlisle: âI paid Mike for protection, and he promised to escort me out of the school gate.â
Wanda: âWell⦠okay. Thanks for today. Also, you looked super cool blocking the basketball!â
Wandaâs lips involuntarily curled up when she thought of Carlisle blocking the basketball earlier.
Carlisle replied with a smile: âReally? Did you fall for me when I blocked that basketball for you back in
high school?â
Daniel, who was walking beside him, asked, âWhy are you smiling so happily? Are you chatting with
your girlfriend?â
He leaned over to take a look.
Carlisleâs nickname for Wanda was âWanbabeâ.
Daniel scoffed. âSo you do have a girlfriend after all. Is she from our school? Whatâs her major?â
Carlisle ignored him and continued chatting with Wanda.
Daniel pondered for a moment and wondered if âWanbabeâ was Wanda from their class.
At that moment, Carlisle received a call from Francis. He quickened his pace toward the dormitory.
Half an hour later, Carlisle walked out of the school gate in casual clothes.
About 40 or 50 people were standing by the roadside.
Mike was negotiating with a tall man smoking a cigarette.
âJax, cut me some slack today. Letâs just call it even!â
Mike placed a cigarette between his lips, and Kelvin immediately took out a lighter and lit it.
Jaxon took a deep drag, his cold gaze fixed on Mike as he sneered. âMike, are you dumb? Arenât you
thinking too highly of yourself?â
Mikeâs expression turned cold as he pointed at Jaxon and shouted, âWhat the fuck did you say to me?
Iâllâ¦
Jaxon swung a kick directly at Mike.
A fight broke out instantly, with both groups grappling with each other.
The senior students paid them no heed, acting as if nothing unusual was happening, while the juniors
stopped to watch.
Jaxon had two friends who knew how to box. With just one exchange, Mikeâs nose started bleeding.
Mikeâs men immediately rushed to deal with the two skilled fighters.
At the same time, four or five vans appeared at both ends of the street.
Seeing this, Jaxon quickly yelled, âlanâs people are here! Letâs go!â
With that, Jaxonâs group immediately ran back toward the school.
Mike cursed angrily from behind, âWhat a bunch of trash. Donât run if you got the balls!â
At that moment, sirens could be heard in the distance.
The people who had just gotten out of the vans muttered curses and quickly retreated.
Mike spat blood onto the ground, looking proud. âTheyâre just trash after all. Even with Austin backing
them, they still piss themselves when they see lanâs people.â
A black Mazda zoomed past him.
Carlisle sat inside the car, sighing. âItâs really hard to get by in this school without some influence.â
Francis frowned. âWas Mike blocking your way at the school gate?â
