CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

EIGHTEEN MONTHS LATER

DYLAN'S P.O.V

I think am going crazy right about now cause it has been the whole year without any contact from Trevor. I don't know how he is doing or where he is right now. I have been looking for him since the first silence began but I don't seem to find him.

The first six months were good, we talked every single day twice or thrice by either mindlink or cell phone depends on the distance he is in at the moment. It looked liked the campsite was not far cause we usually use mindlink. One day everything went dark, no mindlink or phone call.

I know that he is still alive cause I have not felt anything indicating that he is dead. Now, this is the moment that I regret my decision of letting him go. I was supposed to protect him and stop him from doing anything stupid.

A lot has changed within one and a half years. The school is over, we did graduate though I wish Trevor was here to graduate too. We are all nineteen now except for Maxine and Ty who is eleven.

Damien moved into Travis's house cause they have started a family already they have two one-year-olds twins Devyn and Daizy. At which they did find a person(Who is a human) to be their surrogate mother. They did choose a human cause most of them do not know about our existence also it will be easy for the mother to not claim them again.

Matt, Max, and Mark had to move out and into our house. Also, we did shift Trevor's things into the house. I did move from my room to Damien's room and arranged Trevor and I's things so properly that when someone gets in he/she might think that he is around.

The house is full of nine, nineteen-year-old boys, Alex, Avery, Jordan, Chris, Nick, Myron, Matt, Mark, Max, and I. Imagine that.

Damien still did not give me the Alpha title but he sure is training me hard to be one and promised to handle the title when I am twenty whether I am ready or not cause he wants to focus on his family more. Between Chris and Nick, Nick is trained to be a Beta along with Mark cause they are mates and smart/ clever. Chris and Max are trained to become Gammas our very first gammas in our pack cause they are stronger and knows how to kick ass first and ask questions later.

Jordan did decide to become a doctor too so most of his time is with Travis in the hospital plus his abilities, being a doctor is perfect for him. Avery and his love for kids he did decide to work in the nursery with other she-wolves which he loves doing it and the kids love him too. Alex, Myron, and Matt are being trained to become head warriors after Ben and Mason. That is because Matt and Myron are much experienced with the outside world and also Myron and Alex are vampires who can also show some new fighting skills and teach them how to fight vampires if they ever come into contact with one.

Attacks have been so high especially on the neighboring packs, which we had to provide help in one way or another. The thing is that it is the hunters with the rogues that keep attacking the packs' something which is weird and unreasonable. From the different meetings that we have had so far with other alphas, we came to know that they are looking for something or more like someone.

Thankfully they have not yet come to our pack yet but we know that they are coming, that is why we are taking more precautions like training harder, building underground safe houses for the children, women who aren't warriors and men who can't fight. We have been very busy and cautious every time but that did not stop me from finding my mate.

" Dylan, are you paying attention to what I am saying right now?" Damien asks with pure concern in his voice.

" How will I be able to do any of this without my mate?" I say looking at him.

We are currently in the office at the packhouse and he is trying to tell me how many packs are we in treaty with and their borders.

" It is not easy but it is manageable. Goddess knows I have been doing this job for a while and alone". Damien says.

" At least you had Ryan for some time and I have no one".

Going silent for a moment realizing what I just said.

" You still have me", He says resting his hand on my shoulder. " Me retiring doesn't mean that I will not help whenever you want my help and I can even be your Luna for while if you want".

I smile at the Luna part, " Seriously Luna?"

" I got you to smile didn't I".

" Yeah you did", I say looking at the files on the table. " I just wish he was here".

" We are going to find him no matter how long it takes and you are both going to be the best leaders this pack had ever had.

Before I could say anything else we hear a knock at the door, since it is open we see a very exhausted Travis walking with Daizy and Devyn in a baby twins pram with Ty beside him.

" Are you okay?" Damien asks as he walks to his mate, while Ty comes towards me and he looks a little pale.

" No am not okay, they won't stop crying today and Ty keeps getting sick without a reason". Travis says taking a seat far from the pram leaving Damien to deal with them.

Since Ty turned eleven, he started getting sick without a reason and we all have no idea. We tried everything hospital, magic and even make him stay close to Myron maybe it will help because he is his mate but nothing. And that keeps worrying everyone.

" Hey, are you feeling better now?" I ask him as I pull him closer to me. We did grow closer when Trevor left, as he was left to check in with me.

" A little", He whispers.

" I don't know what to do", Travis says worried as he looks at his son. " I am a doctor and I have no idea what to do".

" Hey, it is going to be okay", Damien says as he goes closer to his mate.

I think that will be our Que.

" I will take Tyler to the house to get some rest", I say as I carry him bridal style. Without waiting for either of them to say anything I walk out of there.

We walk out of the packhouse quietly, no one saying a single word until Ty speaks.

" I knew dad would get mad, that is why I told Mrs. Walker to call Papa or you. But instead, she called him". He sniffs quietly cause he doesn't want me to know that he is crying.

" He is not mad Ty. He is just worried cause he can't figure out what is happening to you", I reply.

" That is why I told her to call you or Papa".

Ever since Travis and Damien announced that they were starting a family and they are expecting more children, that is when Ty started to call Damien Papa, which it was a shock to all of us but him more but he was happier to notice that he was shocked by that.

" Because we are tough?" I ask him.

" Yeah".

" You know that your dad is tough too right?"

" He is emotional".

" That is true", I smile at him at which he returned.

" Tyler?" We hear Myron's voice coming from behind us. "what happened?"

" He got sick at school", I say as I handle Ty to his opening arms.

" what is going on with you?" Myron asks looking at a pale Ty on his arms. He leans in to kiss his forehead and we start to head inside the house.

Everyone is there in the living room.

" Tyler?" Alex calls walking to where Myron is.

" Not again", Max says coming even closer followed by everyone.

" Jordan tell me you have found something", Mark says to him.

" Not yet but we are still looking", Jordan says as he places his palm on Ty's forehead.

" I think I should take him to rest", Myron says as he walks to his room with Ty.

" This is bad", Matt says.

" Yeah it is. let me make something for him to eat", Nick says as he takes Mark's hand and lead them to the kitchen

Before anyone else could go back to whatever they were doing, the door is opened revealing Damien, Travis, and the Twins.

" My favorite people are here", Avery says smiling so widely going to where the babies are.

" And we are not?" I ask him.

" Nope, you are not". He says but a little stronger for it to be a jock.

Yap, we didn't solve that after that night with him. I get a sharp eye from Alex.

" I need to lie down", Travis says as he walks to what used to be my room but now it is there temporary room whenever they come to visit as we are closer to the packhouse unlike them. So there are few of their things in there. " Will you guys be okay with them?"

" Absolutely, no worries here", Chris says as he makes unknown baby sounds to Daizy who is in his hands.

For that Damien follows his mate to the room and I go to my room.

2hours later.

" I think we know what is happening to Ty", Jordan says out loud in the middle of the living room downstairs. Without the use of wolf hearing but we all heard him, that is how loud he was.

So I decided to go and listen to him, going out of the room am being met by Travis and Damien coming out of their room too.Reaching there we find Matt, Myron, and Jordan in the living room with books, journals, papers everywhere.

" Tell us something good", Damien says.

" Well Ty is sick because Trevor is too", Jordan starts.

" What?" Is all I  came up with.

" It is like mate bond but not exactly. Whenever one mate gets hurt the other can also feel the pain. So whenever Trevor gets hurt, Ty ends up getting sick". Matt follows.

" So instead of Dylan to get all the pains whenever his mate gets hurt, my mate gets all the pain". Myron says with a cracking voice.

" How is that even possible?" Max asks this time, beating me to the question.

" Blood bond is different from mate bond". Jordan explains. " Ty and Trevor share a blood bond and that is the hunter's bloodline bond. They are born with it, just like an Alpha bloodline bond it is much powerful than the mate's bond."

" Whenever Daizy or Devyn are in pain, Damien will be the first to feel before their mates or Travis because-" Matt starts

" Of their alpha bloodline." Travis finishes as he takes a seat on one of the couches. " And I can't feel my brother's pain because my hunter's side is gone, so my son is getting all the pain by himself".

" So what is the solution?" Avery asks.

" That is where everything goes horribly wrong. He needs to embrace his hunter's side apart from that he will keep getting sick whenever Trevor gets hurt. And We have no idea what is happening out there". Jordan says.

" Can't you do your magical things and make that side of him dormant?" Max asks hopefully

" He is past dormant age". Jordan replies sadly.

" What is that suppose to mean?" I ask.

" If someone wants to dormant there supernatural side needs to be done below ten years old, because at that age everything shifts and turns into their true nature and he just turned eleven" Jordan explains.

" So you are saying we are late for one year to do the damn dormant process and now he is suffering?" Travis yells standing up.

" Travis - " Damien starts.

" No!" Travis shouts making all of us flinch. " I was supposed to protect them, each and every one of them. Instead, I send one of them into a death mission while the other receives all of his pain. So No, Damien doesn't even think of telling me that this is not my fault or everything will be okay because it is my fault and it is not going to be okay. I know that because the only way that Tyler will be okay is when I find Trevor, and no one knows where the hell he is".

For that matter nobody said anything, so Travis gets Ty from Myron's room and decides to go home. After a minute or so they were gone.

*Where are you Trevor*, I try to mindlink him.

* We need you*
