“Hey, hey. Hey. Didn’t you hear me call you?” He asked with a frown.

“Ahem_ sorry about that. I honestly did not hear you” I lied.

“OK” he replied.

Breaking the silence I asked “So why did you come after me?”

“Yeah about that, I wanted to know why you decided to leave the table early”

“Oh I’m sorry. I’m I supposed to leave last as part of my duty?” Mind you I was being very sarcastic. Why else did he want from me. Everything was already beginning to tire me.

“No, no. not that Raina. I just thought you were upset” Now he sounded upset.

“No I’m not. Why would you think that?” I asked.

“Nothing” I gave me a ‘really’ look. Did I really think that I was going to fall for that?

“Ok, fine. You leave the gathering whenever you get upset and sometimes you do not even say anything at all.” He defended.

“True but I’m good” I lied again.

“If you say so” He shrugged.

“What? You don’t think I’m being honest?” I questioned.

“When are you ever honest?” His voice was low. He clearly didn’t want me to hear that but I did. I gave an annoyed laugh glaring at him.

“You did not just say that” I snapped at him. He ignored me and pulled me till we got to the room. A took a deep breath before talking.

“I’m sorry Raina but I wasn’t lying okay?”

“You_” I started.

“I don’t want to fight about this too” He sounded frustrated. Is this all me? I think I should stop countering every single thing that he says.

“Me too” I say with a tight smile. Lucian gave a bug smile which weirdly made me happy.

“I’m sorry” I decided to apologize.

“Don’t be. We just need some more time with each other”

“Yes. Very soon we will be better” I agreed with him.

“Looking forward to that” Lucian kissed my forehead.

“Ahem_ not trying to fight or anything but was your dad the only reason you decided to introduce me to the pack?”

“No and yes” I rose a brow at him.

“He told me to introduce you hut that doesn’t mean I wasn’t planning to. I_” I stopped him before he decided to go further with his not so true excuse.

“It’s fine. I just wanted to know” I smiled making my way to the bed. He followed.

“I don’t like it when you get angry at me” He confessed sitting on the bed the same time that I sat on the bed. He held my hands and moved me so that we could both sit facing each other.

“I am not angry” I told him.

“You seemed angry to me” He defended his earlier claim.

“And I am telling you, I am not” I smiled.

“Thank you” He leaned closer and placed his lips on mine.

“Now I know you’re not” He laughed in my neck.

“Told you” I giggled like an idiot in love.

Wait. What? In love. Do I love Lucian?. I think I love Lucian.

“Movie?” His question brought me out of the debate I had with myself.

“yeah, sure” I could feel the warmth on my face.

“You ok?” He asked as he found the movie for us to watch.

“Of course now let’s have some fun” I shouted excitedly. Embarrassed that I shouted for no reason I cleared my throat and smiled at him telling him we could start the movie.

“Hey” I opened my eyes slowly only to stare directly at the perfect green eyes.

“Hey” I repeated into the pillow to conceal my morning breath. I stood up running my hands from my face to my hair.

“What is going on?” My tone shocked at the sight in front of me.

“Oh this? Preparations?” He answered. Seeing the closet and bags for travelling like this made everything seem to real and scary right now.

“Don’t look so scared Raina. Nothing is going to happen to you, I promise” How can you promise that I wanted to ask but I refrained from asking him that question.

“Yeah” I sighed. I made my way to the bathroom and locked it as soon as I got in.

“Raina” Lucian called as I brushed my teeth.

“Yes” I answered to his call.

“I don’t want your mood to be this way” He begged.

“I’m sorry. I can’t help it” I said truthfully.

“What if I tell you I can make you feel better?” He sounded so corny with the way he said that. I began to imagine him behind the doors and what would happen if I opened the door and I let him take me right now.

“Is that so?” I teased further

“Yes. What if I say we go to SILVER BLOOD today” He said. Not totally falling for it I asked,

“Now? Are you serious?” I was already done brushing so I splashed water to clean my face before I opened the door.

“Really?!” I had to confirm if he was being serious.

“really” He confirmed. I jumped on before kissing him with my legs wrapped around me.

“Wow. I should surprise you more often” He laughed when I withdrew from the kiss but still on him.

“We have a lot of years to do that. Don’t we?”

“We sure do” With that we started kissing again. Before anything could happen Jack screamed Lucian’s name before opening the door. I hurriedly jumped down.

“Now that it’s not just us, you should learn to stop barging in” Lucian warned.

“Sorry about that” He apologized. I looked away from him rushing back to the bathroom to have my bath instead of just standing awkwardly with Jack and Lucian as they talked about the pack I didn’t know a thing about. I decided that I was going to ask him when we get alone again.

As soon as I finished I realized I did not have any towel with me.

“Lucian” I called.

“Lucian” I tried again this time shouting but no response still. Already getting the idea that he was no longer in the room I opened the door and walked out. Just then Lucian and Jack walked in laughing at something both of them have send prior their entrance into the room. Too shocked at the situation I stood still screaming at both of them to get out.

I quickly found a towel to cover up as I quickly picked up a flora short dress that had a scrunch material like feel.

“Hey I’m sorry. I didn’t realize” Lucian begged from outside.

“Come in” I instructed.

“I’m sorry” He said as soon as he walked in

“No, no it’s fine”

“Are you sure?”

“Of course but is it possible to ban him from coming in here?” I asked. Almost impossible but it was worth the try.

“Of course, this is your place as much as it is mine” He agreed.

“Wait Lucian, are you under a spell?”

“Not that I know of. Why?”

“Nothing” I answered.

“Ok”

“you should take a bath” I told him walking towards the bed.

“I already did this morning” He informed me.

“I know. That” I pointed below.

“Needs your attention”

“Fuck” He muttered as he rushed to the bathroom.

Lucian took longer than I expected but it fueled my ego to think I was cable of messing with him like that.

“With that look we are not going to get anything done today” He warned when he caught me staring at him in just a towel. The thought of what laid underneath was enough to get me wet and craving for his touch.

“Not my fault you look so good in that” I defended myself.

“I’m not wearing anything Rain” He laughed walking to the closet making it impossible for me to see his perfect body.

“That’s the point” I yelled at him.

“You’re getting really naughty today love” He teased.

“Again you can’t blame me”

“You understand how it is whenever you are around” With that he walked back out with a jean and a shirt. His wet hair causing water to drip on his shirt. I was smiling foolishly until I noticed something.

“You dyed your hair” I accused moving closer to him to confirm. The pure brown hair confirmed this for me.

“I didn’t think anybody was going to notice that”

“Oh please, it is not news that you have a brown black hair”

“Actually my hair is purely brown” He lied.

“Hey! I know that’s not true” I wanted him to know that I knew what I was saying. Without arguments he pulled me in for another kiss”

“Yes. I dyed it” He finally admitted.

“It looks so good Lucian” I complimented/

“Thank you. As fun as this morning was we need to get going”

“No breakfast?” I asked mortified.

“Of course. We are going to eat in the car” He said.

“Ok” I hurriedly I put on a strappy sandal. I brushed my hair after rubbing little oil in it.

“I haven’t seen the girls” I complained while entering the car.

“As soon as we get back. It isn’t too far. Only two hours’ drive from here” he told me.

“Ok.” He sat at the driver’s seat.

“You’re driving?” I was shocked.

“Yes. I was serious about this being just us alone”

“Thank you for this” I let him know I really appreciated all of this.

I got into the passenger’s seat with our sandwich.

The start of the ride was very quiet which I didn’t mind. I needed the silence for some time before I try to have fun with Lucian who looked sexy while driving a car. Thirty minutes into the drive Lucian broke the silence.

“I remember the last time we were on this road together.” He said

“I was so mad at you. I had a lot planned out for you” I remember the thoughts that night and how angry I had been.

“Is that so?” He expressed his interest in my plans.

“Yes”

“Care to share?” He had a smile on.

“I wanted to mark you too without your consent then become this unbearable person for the entire pack”

“What changed your mind?”

“Everything about everyone. I saw reason to live in love rather than hatred and bitterness” I explained.

“I’m glad we were able to change your mind Raina. I really am” He turned to stare at me for a while.

“I am too” I answered truthfully.

“You hungry?” I asked again after few minutes.

“Starving” I opened up the bag and cut a part of the sandwich and fed Lucian.

“Don’t tilt or try to look at me. I’ll leave the food exactly where it needs to be”

“Yes ma’am” He joked. I ate as I fed him.

“ I wanted to ask you a question” I said stuffing a large piece of sandwich in his mouth”

“Mhmh” he mumbled unable to speak because of the food in his mouth.

“I want to know more about the pack. You don’t have to tell me confidential details, I understand you can’t do that but I want to know want business makes the pack the most income and how each member lives” Lucian’s hand on my thigh under my dress made me quiet.

“I will tell you every single thing you want to know Raina. You are the Luna and you deserve to know this. I just didn’t want to rush you into any responsibility you weren’t ready for” He explained, his eyes fixed on the road.

Before we knew it we were already facing SILVER BLOOD.

“Nervous?” He asked.

“Very. Maybe we should so back” I suggested.

“You’re joking right?” When he saw that I wasn’t joking around he stopped smiling.

“No you’re not” He said quietly.

“This was a terrible idea. What was I thinking?”
