Forced To Marry The King

I woke up and Alexander was not next to me. I'm beginning to fall for the evil, dark king of Proesius.

I didn't even have time to think as maids began to rush into the room. I was given a warm bath, with rose petals. It was soothing, and I really wanted to sleep.

I was put into the blue dress I saw the girl working on. It was absolutely stunning, getting lighter as it went down the dress. My makeup was blue eyeshadow, like the middle color, making my eyes pop. A more pink look was put everywhere else on my face. They only curled my hair a little before putting my crown on my head.

I headed downstairs where the ball was being held. I was A little bit nervous because I've never been to one of these. Back in my own kingdom, I was never allowed to go to bed because my parents always said they were embarrassed of me. My wedding doesn't count because I barely remember it don't even know what happened.

I stopped in front of the ball room doors. I was told to wait for Alexander so we could enter together. I stood there waiting anxiously.

I was happy about having to walk in with Alexander. I was nervous and knew nothing about these kind of things. I was happy Alexander would be guiding me.

Alexander arrived wearing a gold and blue royal suit. He looked handsome and I could tell it was new, just like my dress. We kind of matched except his was mainly gold with dark blue details and lighter blue pants. (This story takes place in like medieval past time ok, so no prom suits. Think of Prince Charming from Disney)

"Blue truly is your color, wife," Alexander said and put his arm up for me to take. I linked my arm with his waiting to be announced. I took a deep breath and waited for the loud announcement of our names to be given.

"It is my honor to introduce, King Alexander and Queen Elise of Proesius," the loud voice of a man yelled and echoed through the room as the large golden doors opened.

We walked down the staircase and through the crowd as everyone bowed as we passed. We made our way to this one girl, my guess was his sister who was returning.

She was absolutely gorgeous, but looked nothing like Alexander. Both were good looking, of course, but I would've never believed these people to be related.

"Happy birthday and welcome back, sister" Alexander said, and his sister lifted her head from her bow.

"Let the festivities commence," The man who intrigued us yelled.

The three of us stood there for a moment before Alexander looked at me.

"Excuse us, but I must have a word with my sister. Alone," Alexander said and basically growled the word alone. I nodded and went to mingle with the other ladies, meaning I stood there and didn't say a word as they gossiped about things I didn't want nor feel comfortable talking about.

I saw in the corner of my eye Alexander pull his sister out of the ball room.
