I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 110
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 110
Trina stepped out of the crowd excitedly and glanced sidelong at Bonnie. The former then extended her hand to accept the bouquet from Floyd. She asked, âWho arranged for this for my birthday?â
âPardon me, but I donât mean you,â Floyd responded blankly.
Trina felt embarrassed and froze. Meanwhile, Floyd strode toward Bonnie and said, âMy master wishes you a happy birthday, Ms. Bonnie.â
âPlease convey my gratitude to him.â Bonnie accepted the bouquet and glanced at Trina mockingly.
Trina blushed with embarrassment, fury, and regret as she withdrew her hands.
âHahaha!â Avril burst into hearty laughter.
Meanwhile, Trina was so ashamed that she wished she could hide in a hole. Vera then approached Bonnie and looked at the bouquet, frowning as she said, âWho would give you these?â
Everyone else was just as curious as to who would make such a grand gesture. They even wondered what kind of big shot Bonnie might know. From the looks of it, the person must come from a family wealthier and more prominent than the Rhodes.
Everyone gazed at Bonnie as she said, âThe CEO of Knight Group.â
The crowd fell silent for a moment. Some rolled their eyes, while others outright called Bonnie a liar.
Even Vera was furious at Bonnieâs answer.
âHere she goes again. She just canât go by a day without lying!â
However, Bonnie had expected such reactions and merely glanced at her mother nonchalantly. On the other hand, Trina joined those who accused Bonnie of lying, âWhy donât you just tell the truth? Who could have made such a gesture when youâve been staying home for a long while now?
âYouâre living alone out there. What will we do if you get entangled with a horrible man who coerced you into doing something against your will? Weâll be concerned about you.â
Bonnie glared at Trina, knowing she was at it again. The latter tried to mislead everyone into thinking Bonnie had a sugar daddy.
âShe just doesnât know when to quit. It looks like itâs time to teach her another lesson.â
Bonnie said, âIs that why you hired someone to tail me?â
Trina froze again, wishing she could slap herself. She had forgotten that Bonnie had an advantage over her. The former regretted making such suggestions.
âI didnât want to say that, Trina, but you keep trying to shame me. You canât push me around.â Bonnie meant what she said as she was genuinely enraged.
She glanced at Hadwin and added, âYou claimed you two are childhood friends. You did a good job

painting a beautiful picture. What everyone doesnât know is that you two had sex with each other long agoâ
Trina was shocked to the core, âWh what nonsense is that, Bonnie? Why do you think Iâd do something like that?â
Vera glared at Bonnie and warned, âQuit it, Bonnie, Stop trying to ruin Trinaâs reputation.â
Bonnie glanced at her coldly, retorting, âWhere were you when she misled everyone to slander my name? Why didnât you step forward and defend me?â
âShe was just worried about you, Youâre the one who twisted her words,â
âHmph!â Bonnie scoffed and swept her gaze across the guests. âAnyone can tell she was slandering my reputation, I also overheard some of them making cutting remarks about me, So, am I twisting her words, or did she mislead everyone into thinking the worst of me? Which is it, Mom?â
Vera said through gritted teeth. âYouâre embarrassing yourself. Why canât you wait until we get home before spouting such nonsense?â
âWhy should I?â Bonnie said defiantly, âWhy canât I retaliate when Trina insulted me in front of all these people? Is it because you and Dad raised her yourself? Is it because Iâm a country bumpkin, and it ruined our familyâs reputation?â
Bonnieâs assessment was accurate. She had unveiled the deep, dark secrets Vera and Gresham had been trying to bury.
âWhâWhy, you little- This is outrageous!â Vera was so mad that she swung a slap at Bonnie,
