I Love You Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) CHAPTER 400
I Love You, Miss Genius
Chapter 400
âSo, thatâs the whole story.â
Uhâ¦â
It took Ged a long time to process everything Ivor told him.
âAll I can say is that Bonnie is a tough lady. She knows what she wants and wonât compromise her vision and settle for anything less. Frankly, youâre one lucky bastard if you manage to marry her. No, I take it back! Youâll be the luckiest bastard alive if you end up marrying her.â
âThatâs a given.â He gave Ged a sidelong glance. âI know better than you just how precious she is.â
âThereâs no need to wallow in sadness or despair. If you look at it from another angle, itâs a good thing.â Ged said analytically.
âWhat do you mean?â
Canât vo
figure out something this simple? They say we do foolish things when weâre in love, but why do
1 get the feeling that youâve become a fool yourself?
âBonnie is this mad at you because she cares a lot about you! Think about it. If someone she deemed
worthless threw a fit in front of her, she wouldâve remained indifferent and ignored that person, which, in
turn, drives the person crazy.â
Ivor nodded in approval. âKeep going.â
âHereâs a question for you. Have you seen Bonnie this mad in your life?â
He pondered on the question for a couple of seconds. Then, his eyes sparkled. He sounded jovial when he spoke. âAre you trying to say that she loves me?â.
âI wonât say that itâs necessarily love. She has feelings for you, at most.â Ged said truthfully.
At the next moment, Ivor glared at him.
âDonât give me that look! Iâm telling you the truth. You need a dose of reality right now. Judging by your current situation, you should leave her alone for a couple of days. Give her some peace.â
Frowning, he asked, âA couple of days? Are you trying to kill me?â
Ged remained quiet. âThat decides it. Ivor is smitten,
âItâs up to you, I guess. By all means, pester her as you will. Thatâll end things between the two of your immediately.â
Ivor fell sile
fell silent at once.
Bonnie went back to her villa and lay on the bed. She tossed and turned, but she just couldnât fall asleep. She couldnât explain it, but she was still angry until this moment.
She had never been like this.

Then, she got to thinking about Ivorâs swollen head. He mightâve pretended to have lost his memories, but she did pound him very hard in the pool.
She was kept awake until three in the morning before she finally fell asleep.
She fully intended to sleep in the next day. Little did she know that sheâd receive a call early in the
morning.
It was Welma on the other end of the phone. So, she shoved her frustration deep down before she said,â
Hello? What is it. Mom?â
âAre you
you still sleeping? Didnât you usually wake up early? Did you pull an allânighter yesterday?â Welma asked concerning
âYeah. I stayed up quite late last night.â
âI know youâre young, but you canât pull an allânighter like that! Oh, I know. Did you hang out with Ivor last
night? Is that why you stayed up so late?â
Bonnie couldnât help but frown when she heard his name.
âHello? Are you still there? Bonnie?â
âOh, uh⦠Is there any reason youâre calling me Mom?â She came back to her senses and changed the topic immediately.
âOh! Itâs about your aunt, who lives in Pyralis. She insisted on recommending a hotel owner to you.â
âIs she setting up a blind date for me?â She was surprised a little.
âExactly! I told her that youâve got a boyfriend, but she wouldnât believe me. She even said that this sort of excuse was overused and tired.
âShe told me that the hotel owner was young but accomplished. He managed to run a successful coffee shop at twentyâeight.â
âJust turn it down, Mom.â She rubbed the side of her head. She needed to catch some sleep now.
âI tried, but I think you know how that aunt of yours is. Sheâs not going to believe youâre in a couple unless she sees how loveyâdovey you and Ivor are with her own eyes.
âHereâs an idea. How about you and Ivor show up together to the blind date? Thatâs going to solve our
dilemma!â
