Sunwoo quickly raised his head. A dark road, contrasting with the bright interior of the car. What appeared to be a taxi was actually, to his surprise, Chairman Kang.

"Chairman..."

Sunwoo muttered, his voice a low groan at the unexpected appearance of the man.

He had ignored Chairman Kang's call last time. So, this meeting was even more awkward for Sunwoo.

After avoiding Kang Jinwook, now Chairman Kang appeared. It felt like trying to avoid a fox and ending up face-to-face with a tiger.

Chairman Kang ordered, rolling up the window. He seemed certain that Sunwoo wouldn't refuse.

The passenger door opened, and a strong man stepped out. He gestured for Sunwoo to get in by opening the backseat door.

Even if Sunwoo resisted and said he wouldn't go, it seemed like they intended to force him in. As he was about to refuse, Sunwoo’s vibrating phone caught his attention, and he connected the call.

Sunwoo, where are you?!

A panicked voice came from the other end. Sunwoo’s gaze shifted back to the wide-open car.

"Kang Jinwook."

Sunwoo, where are you? Why did you leave the car in the middle of the road?

I’m sorry, Director. We’re still looking. A staff member said they saw him leave the hotel.

We just confirmed through the security team’s CCTV footage. We saw Sunwoo getting into a car.

No. It was a sedan. However, the CCTV was too far, and there were no streetlights, so we couldn’t make out the license plate.
