Chapter 2

The one with the raging homosexuals.

You're my captain. (Hailee Steinfeld)

"Hey sweetheart." Parker was greeted by a large man opening the door to greet her.

"Alex." She said curtly before walking into the house. Alex and her dad had been dating since was a child, the guy was practically her second dad. Alex used to do MMA fighting and has made sure not to lose any muscle tone since his retirement. "Has my dad informed you of the abuse he bestowed on me today?"

Alex placed his hand on Parker's shoulder. "Baby girl, I'm taking care of it. I got you." Alex paused as him and Parker shared a laugh. "Now come here and hug me, I haven't seen you in so long."

Parker rolled her eyes but followed anyway, wrapping her arms around his midsection. "We literally got coffee 3 days ago. Remember? That guy gave you his number when you paid?"

"Hey!" Alex hissed before glancing around. "Circle of trust, remember?"

Parker smirked before sticking out her pinky. "Circle of trust." The two did a pinky bump before entering the main house.

"There's me two favourite people!" Sam shouted from his place on the sofa as he watched a rerun of an old basketball game.

Both Alex and Parker looked at him before glancing at each other and letting out a dramatic huff before turning on their heels and heading to the kitchen.

"I hope you know, he's my dad but you picked to spend the rest of your life with him."

"And then, I came out and Parky was there on the floor just gazing up at this pretty young girl helping her. Who am I to interrupt that?!" Sam exclaimed as he downed some of his beer, leaning back in the dinner chair.

"Samson! You could have broken her ribs and you left her whilst some stranger takes care of her!" Alex argued back.

Sam smirked knowingly at his daughter who was sat there leaning back in her chair taking swigs off her own beer. "Believe me, I don't think she's too mad at me about it."

Both men turned and face their daughter who sat there rolling her eyes. "Don't get this twisted dad, you dropped a fuckin weight on me, I wanted to drop kick you into next week. However the girl was very very hot, so I suppose I can forgive you."

Sam turned and smirked at his husband knowingly. "Told you."

"Okay, no I need context. How hot are we talking?" Alex held his hand up to Sam, ignoring the smug faces he was trying to send his way.

"Like...dude." Parker smiled. "Wait, hang on, she's on Instagram, I can show you." Parker pulled out her phone and was able to quickly get on Hailee's page as she already follows her. She passed her phone over to Alex who sat there nodding along as he scrolled.

"Girl, this girl is gorgeous. Did you get her number?"

Parker's smile began to drop from her face. "No."

"Did she follow you on social media?

"...no?"

Alex began to give Parker the look. The disappointed parent look. "Did you arrange to meet her again."

"I mean...sorta...no, not really."

"Parker!" Alex exclaimed as he passed her her phone back. "How many times have we spoke about this?! You're a hot girl, when girls come up to you, you need to seal the deal."

Parker huffed as she crossed her arms. "Uh-huh, because you two big raging homos know lots about picking up girls."

Alex and Sam looked at each other. "She's talking about you." They say at the same time, both equally insulted when they hear the other speak.

"I'm talking about both of you! Look, if it's meant to happen...it'll happen, right? If not, then I dunno, I'll adopt 5 cats and die alone."

"You're allergic to cats." Sam pointed out.

"Which is why I'll die alone. The cats will kill me."

Short, but never fear, double update coming today.

I just wanted to show the dynamic that Parker has with Sam and Alex.
