They acted like they were above everyone and their words were aggressive, making it clear that they looked down on Cynthion Group.

Still, considering that he was partly to blame for this conflict, Leon did not say anything.

As the situation escalated, Hugo chimed in hurriedly, “Uncle, please calm down for now. You may not know this, but Mister Hugh here is Mister Leon’s close relative. Mister Leon’s caught up with something urgent and has his reasons for not coming. He didn’t mean to disrespect us.”

Due to what Leon said earlier, he could not reveal Leon’s true identity. Hence, he could only hint that Hugh was Leon’s close relative in the hope that Jayden and Georgie would hold their tongue.

Otherwise, if they accidentally offended Leon, the Morrisons would suffer a loss when Leon decided to terminate the business collaboration.

They all looked down on Leon, thinking that he was merely a vice-president.

However, once they were reminded, they realized that Hugh and Leon shared the same family name and came to conclude that Hugh was likely Leon’s brother. If that were the case, Hugh would have the right to represent Leon.

Since Leon was busy and sent his family members to the western region to meet with them, this did not seem like an act of disrespect.

Since the results would be the same, the Morrisons realized that they should not dwell on minor matters, or this might affect the business collaboration between them.

“Alright, that’s the end of this discussion. Since Mister Wolf is otherwise occupied, we should be more understanding,” Caleb said, putting a stop to the conflict.

“This kid should consider himself lucky,” Jayden scoffed.

Though he was reluctant to let this go, Caleb intercepted and it was not a major matter, so the elders did not intend to blame Leon any longer. Hence, he and Georgie could only give up.

“Mister Wolf, please take a seat.” Caleb smiled and invited Leon to sit.

Once everyone was seated, Caleb cut to the chase and asked, “Mister Wolf, what’s Cynthion Group’s plan regarding this collaboration with the Morrisons?”

Though Hugo reached a consensus with Leon that they would work together, that was merely a verbal promise and there were still a lot of details to be decided.

Leon came to the western region precisely to confirm the partnership along with other details such as the ratio of profit to be divided amongst them.
