As Renee and Leon were speechless, Ariella changed the subject. “Renee, are you and Mister Wolf going to dinner now? Why don’t we all go together?”

“Well,” Renee glanced at Leon.

Ariella was her best friend and it has been a while since they last met, so she wanted to spend some time with her.

However, Leon was the first to ask her to dinner and she already accepted his invitation. Hence, she needed Leon’s permission if she wanted Ariella to join them.

“I don’t mind!” Leon shrugged.

He knew that Ariella was Renee’s friend and he could tell that Renee wanted her to join, so he saw no point in stopping her.

“You’re asking permission to dine with your friend, yet deny that you’re dating. How stubborn,” Ariella noticed Renee’s glance and chuckled.

“Seriously,” Renee was slightly irritated, but could not argue.

After all, Ariella already jumped to a conclusion and it was indeed quite odd forthem to be seen in a hotel together.

No matter how hard she tried to explain, it would only worsen. Hence, she gave up and believed that Ariella would soon come to realize it was a misunderstanding.

“Alright. Let’s all go to eat together!”

With Leon’s approval, Ariella grabbed Renee’s arm and went to the reception to order a room, before placing orders for food.

Following the waiter, the four arrived at a luxurious private room.

They all took their seats and the waiter started serving dishes.

“Mister Wolf, which family do you belong to?” While food was being served, Joshua asked.

As the eldest unwed daughter of the Morrisons, Renee was a lady of high status. Hence, if Leon was her boyfriend, he had to be the heir to a powerful family, or he would not be worthy of Renee.

However, he could not think of a single family with the name Wolf in the western region, which baffled him.

“Oh, Hugh isn’t from the western region. He is from the southern region,” Renee explained.

“The southern region? I see!” Realization dawned on Joshua, but he soon realized that something was off. “Hang on.

There’s no powerful family with the name Wolf in the southern region either!” he said in confusion.

The southern and western regions were located next to one another so he heard of all the powerful families in the southern region before. Still, he did not know any family that shared the Wolf name.

“Mister Hacket, I’m not from any major family.” Leon shook his head.

“What? You’re not from any major family? Who are you, then? ” Joshua was shocked.

Naturally, he was not the only one. Ariella was stunned as well and the two stared at Leon in disbelief.

They already mistook Leon for Renee’s boyfriend.
