Chapter 5

Max

I wanted to slap him so hard I could feel myself getting mad all over again. I felt Ro put her hand on my arm, as she walked in front of me she let her hand glid across my arm to my chest. “Darek was it, who the hell do you think gave you the right to tell me what I need and don’t need to do. Oh, and you got some nerve talking to people like they are your personal walkway. If you don't know, what basic human decency is I will be happy to teach you, and while I'm at it I’ll teach you how to respect others as well. If you need any other lessons just let me know.” Ro said. I couldn’t help but have to hide my laugh. His face was so pale he looked sick. He just left without saying a word, Ro turned to me her hand still on my chest. “Gosh I hate people like that they piss me off” she said “look where your hand is love” I said, and she looked down. Her face turned bright red as she slowly pulled her hand away. “S..sorry I didn’t know that’s where my hand was” she said, I laughed and pulled her to me. “I will never leave you; I will always be here for you. We have time I promise” I said looking down into her beautiful sea green eyes. Ro smiled and hugged me then walked back to the terrace, I followed her and stood behind her. “You know it’s really pretty out today” Ro said leaning back against me. “So, let’s go out for a walk” I proposed, she shook her head agreeing instantly.

He packed us a picnic basket and led me to a pond. When we got there, I was in awe. There was a giant clearing surrounded by trees and in the middle was a big pond. We sat in the grass enjoying the sun and eating. We had chocolate covered strawberries for dessert, ham sandwiches, soda, and mini sausages. After we ate, I decided to stick my feet into the pond. I sat on the rim of the pond and let my feet dangle in the water, Max came sit and joined me. He brought the chocolate covered strawberries with him and placed them between us. We sat for what seemed like hours just taking getting to know each other more and more, it was extremely nice and relaxing.

Once we got back to the house, I decided to take a shower. I didn’t have any clothes, so I just wore a pair of Max’s sweatpants and a black t-shirt. Later that night Max and I were on the couch watching a movie when he asked, “would you like to move in with me tomorrow?" I just looked up at him and smiled “I would love to” I said. We finished the movie then headed up stairs to get ready for bed. When we got in the room, I went brush my teeth while max changed into Pj pants. When I was done, he entered, and I went to sleep.
