Chapter 727
Meet My Brothers
However, it was merely a fleeting image, and Mia couldnât recall any further details.
Shelly looked at her with suspicion. âMonalize, is something bothering you?
âNo, letâs go.â
Mia grinned. âShelly, feel free to purchase whatever catches your eye later,
donât hold back.â
âMonalize, please donât be upset. Iâll handle Luna later.â
Upon hearing Shellyâs words, Miaâs grin widened. âTake it easy, but donât overdo it, especially with Mrs.
Barrett present.â
âI just want to teach Luna a lesson. Who does she think she is, speaking to me in that manner? What
authority does Luna have to use that tone with me?â
willing to back down, Shelly voiced her frustration, âMonalize, let me enlighten you about something.
That dress Luna is wearing might even be borrowed. I mean, how could she possibly afford a limited
edition Vior dress?â
âThat doesnât seem likely. Hasnât the Barrett family provided Luna with any financial support?â
âTheyâve only allocated funds for Asherâs care. How much could that
possibly be? If it werenât for him, Luna would never have stepped foot in the
Barrett residence.â
Upon hearing this, Mia couldnât help but ponder the relationship between Asher and the Barrett family.
The two of them proceeded to the fashion show together.
The venue was already bustling with attendees, many eagerly anticipating the show.
Luna and Sharon had already taken their seats in the center of the front row.
Mia strode over to the two women, positioning herself directly in front of
them.
Luna glanced at the front row, noting that only the last two seats remained unoccupied. Wearing a
smug expression, she remarked, âShelly, can you see well from over there? Want to join me and
squeeze in?â
Shellyâs expression soured; she didnât want to be assigned to a corner seat.
Turning to Mia, she voiced her concern, âMonalize, do you think the organizers might have made a
mistake with this seating arrangement? Given your status, it seems odd that they would place you so
far to the side.â
After all, Monalize held a VIP membership card!
Observing the vacant seats at the end, Sharon sneered, âWell, it seems that people claim to be
heiresses of prestigious families, yet they canât
even secure a decent seat.â
Miaâs lips curved into a cold smile. âI should be asking you the same question.â
Sharon raised an eyebrow. âWhat do you mean?â
âQuite literally, Mrs. Barrett, you and Luna are in the wrong seats. These are
mine.â
With that, Mia presented two invitations, clearly indicating that she had reserved two seats.
Sharonâs voice suddenly grew louder, exclaiming, âThatâs impossible. Whenever I attend these shows,
Iâm always seated in the middle!â
Luna smiled and remarked, âMs. Monalize, perhaps youâre not familiar
with the protocols here. Bern Cityâs arrangements may differ from those in Nord City.â
Mia chuckled, rétorting, âLuna, Iâve attended more shows than youâve had rainy days in April.â
Just then, a nearby staff member named Tina Johnson noticed the
commotion. She hurried over and asked politely, âIs there anything I can help you with?â
Sharon raised her voice, demanding, âPlease remove this woman from here.
Luna turned to Tina, commenting, âIt seems this woman isnât familiar with the protocols of our Bern City
fashion shows. Sheâs insisting that these two seats belong to her.
âWhat she doesnât realize is that seats for esteemed guests arenât assigned based on purchasing
tickets; they must be preâarranged through the
organizers.â
Lunaâs tone carried a hint of mockery, evident in the arch of her eyebrows.
Mia remained composed, while Shelly beside her appeared uneasy. Monalize, have you made
arrangements with the organizers?â
