Chapter 728
Meet My Brothers
Sharon couldnât help but sneer, âYouâre just pretending to be highâclass, yet here you are embarrassing
yourself at a fashion show. The truth has been revealed, hasnât it?â
Mia handed the invitations to Tina and responded calmly, âDonât you know that these two seats are
specially reserved for today? How can you randomly assign seating like this?â
Tina glanced at the invitations, her expression shifting immediately. She promptly apologized, âIâm sorry
for the confusion. Since the two of you hadnât arrived for some time, we assumed you might not be
attending, leading to this mistake.â
Mia smirked and asserted, âBut Iâm here now, so please make way for me to
take these seats.â
âOf course, right away.â
na approached Sharon with a nervous demeanor and conveyed, âI apologize, Mrs. Barrett, but these
two seats were reserved in advance.â
âDonât you know who I am? Iâm Mrs. Barrett! How dare you suggest that I give up my seat?
Lunaâs expression darkened as she sternly addressed Tina, âExactly. Mrs. Barrett is a respected guest
who is accustomed to occupying the center seat.
âItâs obvious that youâve messed up the seat assignments. Shouldnât we be following the âfirstâcome,
firstâservedâ principle here?â
Even if Monalize had preâbooked the seats, she still needed to adhere to the principle of seating based
on arrival order.
Tina promptly apologized, saying, âIâm truly sorry for the confusion. However, considering Ms.
Monalizeâs VIP status with Vior, she is entitled to
reserve her seat.â
Upon hearing the term âVIP,â Sharon suddenly remembered that Monalize was a VIP member of Vior.
As Sharon observed Monalizeâs features, which bore a striking resemblance to Miaâs, she was abruptly
reminded of a time four years ago when Miaâs family had arrogantly flaunted their VIP membership
card.
Sharon couldnât help but feel uneasy at the memory. Was possessing a VIP membership card really
that impressive?
Observing the situation at a standstill, Katie Turner, the event manager, hurried over and apologized,
saying, âIâm sincerely sorry. It appears that our staff have caused significant inconvenience to our VIP
guests.â
Shelly boasted, âBut weâre VIP members. According to Viorâs rules, weâre entitled to priority treatment.
How do you intend to resolve this? Surely you canât expect VIP guests to sit in those adjacent seats,
can you?â
Nonetheless, Luna refused to back down. Why should Monalize, simply due to her VIP status, claim
her seat?
Addressing Katie, Luna asserted, âThis isnât our fault; itâs your staffâs error. You canât hold us
accountable for it.
âAre you deliberately trying to drive away the mother of the Barrett Groupâs CEO? You wouldnât want to
go out of business in Bern City, would you?â
Katie nodded in agreement. âThis young lady is correct. Fortunately, Iâve just freed up a seat in the
center over there.
âMrs. Barrett, thatâs where you typically prefer to sit, and some of your old acquaintances are already
there.â
Despite her initial resistance, Sharon had little choice but to comply. She didnât want to face
embarrassment, especially since she wasnât a VIP
member.
With reluctance, Sharon conceded, âVery well, sitting here isnât all that important anyway. Iâll go catch
up with some old friends.â
At that instant, Shelly glanced at Luna and mocked, âOh, my, thereâs only one seat left in the middle
over there; itâs barely enough for one person. Why donât you squeeze in with Aunt Sharon?â
Lunaâs expression immediately stiffened, a flicker of discomfort crossing her eyes. She could only turn
to Sharon, seeking assistance.
